The Brief and Magical History of Fast-Food Buffets - Eater
"NOLA Weekend, which covers “New Orleans Food, things to do, culture, and lifestyle.” It touts the Popeye’s buffet like a carnival barker, as though it is simply too incredible to believe: “The Only Popeye’s Buffet in the World! It’s right next door in Lafayette! Yes, that’s right: a Popeyes buffet. HERE.”" - MM Carrigan
We went on a saturday.
There was not a lot of People but we have to wait like 5 minutes to order
We order large combo of the regular sándwich, my friend with rice & bean and cajun fries and myself with cajun fries and mashed potatoes
The flavor is very good
The place was clean

I was excited to try the sweet b’ spicy wings, but I was left disappointed. The wings were not hot (temperature) and barely had any sauce on them. I’ll try them again because the little sauce I had tasted good. I’ll just go to another location.

Overall good service, sometimes forgets a side, the place could use a little renovation. The guy in front of me in the drive-thru turned the corner a little too hard and a piece of metal sticking out of the ground popped his tire. He pulled to the side to change it. He didn’t say anything but I did let the person at the window know what happened.

Bad job, little attention to the customer, talking among themselves. I waited for more than 35 minutes and there was no one in the place, they did not pay attention. I had to repeat my order many times and when I got it, no napkins, wrong order and missing mashed potatoes. A disaster, besides the flavor, nothing to do with the real Louisiana that we know.

I went to this store after work on 15 February, at approx 3pm. I stood in line for about 5 minutes, no one acknowledged anyone at the counter the lady in front me looked like she had been there a while as she was leaning on the counter and looked like she was about to nap, the employees were confused about an order for Mike L and finally I got frustrated and left. If you want fast food don’t go here you won’t even be able to order in a reasonable amount of time and the employees just don’t seem to care about their jobs, customers or the company

Ordered through the app. Apparently the employees decided to close early. I inquired about how to obtain a refund. The employees were not aware and couldn't find, Erica, the manager. The employees
claimed that Erica stepped out and they didn't know when she would return.

Horrible chicken (dried out) and the biscuits (hard). I'm sorry I had to tell you this. Also the Men's restroom has not been addressed in sometime due to the dried toilet paper adhered to the ceiling in several spots. I don't recommend eating here until the AREA Manager pays a visit and addresses this restaurant.
Note: Popeyes was my first employer a very long time ago.
