We'd never been here before but we googled something near our hotel and it popped up. The place was dead on a Sunday night but as soon as we walked in we were greeted by a guy named Tanner who was SO warm and welcoming and made us feel like honored old friends. He got us seated, brought our drinks, made enthusiastic and honest menu suggestions. We got the stuffed mushrooms, manicotti, garlic cheese/tomato bread, a stromboli and a lasagna. Everything was made fresh and came out piping hot and tasted homemade. Portion sizes were great, half of us took home leftovers. The free garlic bread was very tasty and soft/pillowy and warm. The places are very reasonable too - basic pasta runs you $10-14, more advanced stuff like shrimp, crab, lobster etc runs a bit higher but I didn't see much on the menu over $25. The atmosphere has great NYC photos everywhere and brick walls, very cliche Italian restaurant, with a full bar as well with a big selection. There are TVs mounted so I assume they show games etc sometimes. Tanner took awesome care of us and when the meal was done, he brought us dessert - a limoncello cake (TO DIE FOR) and their panna cota, which was fresh and very tasty and ooey-gooey goodness.
