Had a strawberry vodka lemonade and it was delicious, as well as the appetizer. my husband and I had a ribeye really flavorful, tender, juicy and cooked to perfection, it was our first anniversary and they were so kind and gave us a dessert. service 10/10 really recommend this restaurant 🙂

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance of this establishment completely captivated me with thoughtfully curated music that created an inviting, refined atmosphere. The cuisine was nothing short of exceptional: beautifully presented, expertly balanced, and rich in flavor. Their wine selection was equally impressive, with offerings that complemented the meal wonderfully. The staff were both attentive and well-informed, demonstrating a clear passion for both hospitality and the culinary experience. I wish we had gotten the server’s name, he was great! This is a place I would gladly return to and wholeheartedly recommend to others seeking an elevated dining experience. The food was good and music good.

Such an experience. The atmosphere was amazing it was a nice surprise to see they had live music. The food was served pretty quickly and the servers were very attentive. Totally recommend for a special occasion they do every effort to make it memorable.

Patio on Guerra is easily one of McAllen’s best spots for a nice dinner out. The atmosphere is amazing. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive from start to finish. The food was outstanding. This is the kind of place you go to when you want a great meal and a memorable experience. Highly recommend for date night, special occasions, or just treating yourself.

I love this restaurant! Every year my wife and I celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food is always so delicious and the presentation is also done extremely well. The ribeye steak is always cooked perfectly and melts in your mouth! The atmosphere is nice and cozy makes it very romantic. Always look forward to coming here!

We came here for dinner with my wife and in laws. My wife and I had the cabrito. Both were amazing. Hers was the leg cut, mine the rib, hers had more meat. We also had frog legs and calamari. Both were so damn good. My in laws had chicken dishes, no complaints. My blackberry cocktail was very delicious. I was disappointed with the tres leches.. it had barely any condensed milk sauce. Tres leches by definition has to be soaked in condensed milk. This was a regular pound cake, with decent flavor, not tres leches. Service was very good. Overall great restaurant!

Decided to celebrate our Anniversary dinner at The Patio and it was definitely a10/10 experience. The cocktails were refreshing I had the classic margarita on the rocks and the amaretto sour was also very tasty. The flavors of the food were so good I cannot wait to go back. And service was the best, for being a full house on a Saturday night we were continuously checked on and all treated so nice. The music was the perfect touch not too loud and he played some great hits. Then you Patio on Guerra we love celebrating our life moments with you.

Love the atmosphere of the restaurant and the food had a great taste. However, the hostess was a snobby and snarky. She must forget that she is WORKING at the restaurant and she is not the owner. Someone remind that large woman that she is employed at the restaurant.

Celebrated my son's Birthday the food and service was amazing, the atmosphere was so very pleasant and peaceful. Planned on going back soon to celebrate my others sons Birthday

We brought my sister and friends to The Patio on Guerra. Their first impression was that it was in McAllen, TX. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent wait staff.

Menu has quite the variety of delicious food options. Ambiance is nice, gives romantic vibes.

My wife and I have eaten here twice now. The food was amazing. On our first visit I had the roasted duck with the white wine/orange marmalade sauce and tri color potatoes. The potatoes were ok. Good but nothing to write home about. The duck was just incredible. Perfectly cooked and served beautifully. My wife had the 6 oz filet with mashed potatoes. Again the potatoes were good but nothing special. Her steak on the other hand disappeared faster than any other steak I have seen her eat. She said it was the best steak she has ever had. On our second visit I had the Chilean sea bass with a red curry sauce. It was served with a wild rice, cranberry toasted almond pilaf. The sea bass was cooked to perfection and the sauce was not overpowering and quite tasty. I could have eaten more pilaf it was very good. My wife had the filet again but with a baked potato this time. Her meal disappeared just like the last time. The service is impeccable. The staff is attentive but you never feel pushed or crowded. On our last visit our waiter (Rueben) brought our drinks and asked if we wanted to just relax for a few minutes before ordering. We thought this was very thoughtful. The restaurant itself is very comfortable. We have been dressed sort of nice when we have dined here but there customers in shorts and also in suit and tie. This is for sure our new favorite restaurant in the RGV.

Patio on Guerra is our go to place to eat, the food is fabulous and the service is top notch. We usually set at the bar and have appetizers and drinks and the bartender is awesome. It took us 3 times in there to say no to the appetizers and have a meal. The lamb, steaks and salmon are delicious. Highly recommend

Everything exceeded my expectations. I admit to being a beef snob, but not only was the prime 6 oz fillet to die for ... the salad, the bread and the tres leche cake was absolutely wonderful! Our server Rubin was great ... if you have penchant for elegant atmosphere and fine food, you must try this place ! It was our anniversary and they made it special

We have eaten on various occasions and have say we've never been disappointed. From the service, ambience, and the quality of food, we consider them "best in the valley." I do recommend the Venison.

Beautiful restaurant, service was fine, but whether you're sitting at a table or a barstool....at these prices you expect to feel MOST welcomed. Not that I didn't feel welcomed, I was greeted ok, and the wine taster pour was generous, but my server was busy, and I was kinda made to feel it....ya know? I ordered the 6. Oz filet snd lobster tail....ok flavors...both cooked super underdone....and I love sushi and steaks rare, but these were limp. I asked for bernaise sauce on the side for my filet....came out cold...although the technique and flavors were poppin! I struggled between coming here (1st time) and Santa Fe's (whom I have had ribeye steaks and lobster tails many times). I'm glad I chose this way though...at least I know. Would possibly come here again for a glass of wine.

From the moment we were greeted until the time we finished our dessert, the service was exceptional. The staff worked as a team and checked in on our needs at a perfect interval. Our dishes were perfectly cooked and very delicious. A guitarist showed up around 7:00 pm and played pleasant music. We highly recommend and will definitely visit again. Reservations are highly recommended.

I can't imagine how our combined Wife's birthday and our anniversary dinner could have possibly been any better. The setting was romantic and personalized with place setting cards and glittering. The service and ambiance was Perfect. The frog legs appetizer was wonderful "Texas quail and bacon wrapped scallops my wife ordered were to die for. My Chilean Sea Bass was also perfect. The meal was complete with complementary dessert complete with lighted candle. The Patio joined a very short list of our favorite restaurants. I could go on but you just have to experience it yourselves. Thank you to the management and staff for an unforgettable experience

Such a wonderful quiet spot with great decor, music wasn't too loud, and lighting was spot on. I chose The Patio for my 12th Anniversary and my wife and daughters loved the place. Outstanding service , we had a tomahawk steak for 2 , it was fantastic . It was my companion birthday and they decorated the table and served us cake . The whole experience was wonderful.the absolute best.

I came here with my boyfriend without a reservation. The hostess was friendly and seated us indoors. The outside patio was romantic but I didn't prefer the ambiance as it lacked lighting and ambiance, personally. The interior was dark, cool, and romantic. However, unlike other fine dining restaurants I've been to, I'm not sure if it was due to the party of 10+ being present but the noise level was loud so we couldn't hear the music. We didn't mind it because we just talked amongst ourselves. There were big parties to our left and right. The crowd was more mature, perhaps due to the price of the establishment; we were the youngest guests in the house. The waiter was friendly as well and had excellent wine pairing recommendations. We had the crab meat tower and Caprese salad for each of us as appetizers and we're so glad we only ordered one tower for both of us. The crab meat tower was rather large and was large enough to fill us as one whole meal. It was so delicious; such a perfect balance of sweet and savory. The wonton crisps were perfect to go with it. I'd go back just to get that next time. The salad was delicious also; had the perfect balance of dressing as well. It was large and I couldn't finish it all. We ordered the Tomahawk Ribeye as our main and I've never been so full before an entrée before. I still ate a little bit of the meat (and grilled potatoes and tomatoes, it came with them) because we couldn't bring the whole thing home and it tasted amazing. The chef cut our meat for us and it was an interesting experience. I wish I had a bigger stomach to eat them all but I was too full and my boyfriend had to eat most of it. He said that the meat was one of the best he's ever had and that the price was very fair compared to other Tomahawk steaks he's had. It was a bang for your buck. Everything about this restaurant is great. I'll go back if I'm craving fine dining in the Valley again.

Frog leg appetizer was awesome. Decor is very charming. Steak was good but not outstanding as I would expect for the price point. Service was good but hostess was openly annoyed that we came in 30min before close.

Went to celebrate our anniversary. Hot entrees had too much salt. Our server disappeared at the end of the meal & another server had to get our bill so we could pay & leave. Finally saw our server after we paid & was told a group came in and distracted her - lame. Not all our leftovers came home with us when we requested everything be boxed up - disappointed when the items we paid an upcharge for were not included (only ate about 4 bites). Called to let the restaurant know & was told 'sorry, was probably thrown out'. Past experiences was five star - not this time.

I came with high hopes and a hungry belly and left underwhelmed. The food lacked flavour - even the guac. However, it was a lovely venue.

The Lamb Chops were outstanding! Service is always very good. Bartenders very knowledgeable and friendly. Nice ambiance.

Super Chill Vibe! I sat at the bar, and the bartender was very helpful in helping me decide what to eat (as well as the person a few chairs down). Service was great, the bread fresh, and Chicken Marsala was melt in your mouth tender. I did not love the strawberry vodka lemonade, as I found it too sweet, but everything else was amazing!

I've been here twice, and both times have been a good experience. The food has improved since my last visit 2 years ago, the ambiance is the same (very nice inside, they always hire good musicians for background music and it's never too loud to talk). Excellent service and overall just a solid restaurant. Their bar is fine, nothing that wowed me and again, the experience for me was mostly about the service and ambiance. The food definitely improved but it was pretty similar to other similar restaurants in this tier. I'd recommend it for an event, not my choice for an average dinner on a Friday night.

$5 for tea. Horribly overpriced and expensive for what you get. There are many other places that aren't exorbitant like they are here. Tea being $5 is the most outrageous thing I have ever seen in my life. Tea should be no higher than $2.50 at most. They are overpriced on food as well. They don't care at all. Look at the other reviews. All they are about is money and they are money grubbing fools. Skip this place!

The food and drinks are amazing! My favorite is the pork chop. Sooo juicy and tender! This spot is perfect for a nice quiet dinner and they also have space for a larger party! Be patient if you take a large party! They're very accommodating but service can get a little slow if you have a large group. Great place! Highly recommend!

My first visit and all I have to say is, AMAZING! I am very particular when it comes to dining. Well, not one complaint from me today. The food was absolutely delicious! We had the sea bass, ribeye steak, chicken fettuccine, and the ribeye chicharrones as an appetizer! Every single item was just as delicious. Will definitely be back for more!

Luv the food & appreciate the happy hour specials. We usually come w/10 group of friends for our b'days or anniversaries & service is gr8. Came in w/15 friends 2 weeks ago but service wasn't as good. Our onions mushrooms we ordered w/our fillet came when we were almost done w/our steaks. Also, more prompt call back would be appreciated. Our daughter never received a callback.
