Italian heritage fare with wine, beer, and cocktails

"Reported to have been scouted by the owner as a potential sale during his New York City activity; the venue appears alongside other NYC targets in reporting about his business moves. These scouting and acquisition activities preceded the March 20, 2025 ethics filing in which he pledges to resign from and divest many restaurant holdings if confirmed to the ambassadorship." - Courtney E. Smith
"Talks are reportedly on the table for Fertitta to become the new backer of Scott Sartiano’s namesake restaurant in Soho’s Mercer Hotel; the discussions are not finalized and spokespeople were contacted. The potential backing would be discussed alongside Fertitta’s interest in buying out investors in Sartiano’s private club and the planned Las Vegas expansion mentioned above." - Melissa McCart
"Sartiano’s is open for a la carte dining and will feature specials such as roasted heritage turkey with sides like potato puree, turkey sausage stuffing, Brussels sprouts, and gravy, along with pecan pie for dessert." - Beth Landman

"This spot in the bottom of the Mercer Hotel is across from Fanelli on Prince Street. The two restaurants have quite a bit in common (Italian food, clientele who would push you down a flight of stairs for a table at the Polo Bar), although Sartiano’s is significantly fancier. It's an entertaining crowd, but if you don’t throw on some leather pants or a double-breasted blazer, you may feel out of place. In the same building, there's an affiliated club called (Sub)Mercer that promises "unparalleled people watching." - bryan kim, willa moore, neha talreja
"I observed that Sartiano’s is described as a newish restaurant in the Mercer hotel, owned by Scott Sartiano." - Melissa McCart
