Restaurants to Try This Weekend in Las Vegas — August 1 | Eater Vegas

"Back in a new Arts District home, this revived burger spot swaps its old hot-pink cow for a teal one and a moodier brick-and-wood interior, in a smaller space that still delivers the over-the-top burgers and shakes that made it a Strip staple. Slide into a circular booth or grab a bar seat and go for the popular Forager Burger — a beef-mushroom blend with onion marmalade and Swiss — or do what I do and order the classic, juicy, flavorful, and rich enough to stand on its own. Pair it with fries and a cookies-and-cream shake capped with a cookie sandwich that’s bigger than my head." - Janna Karel

After an early dinner, we decided to head to the Arts District for cocktails. The first restaurant we planned to visit couldn’t accommodate us, so we moved on and came across Holsteins, one of our old favorites back when they were at the Aria. We couldn't had help but to go in. The place was nice. The atmosphere was chill. We sat at the bar (there was no wait). The bartender was great. I ordered a Caramelized Onion Old Fashione (Fn delicious!) and, since I can’t drink without a snack, I added the Chicken Wing Lollipops. My wife went with one of her favorites, the Boozy Cookies & Cream Milkshake. As always, everything was great. We’ll definitely be back soon for the burgers and fries!

Recently I joined the TruFusion cult of awesomeness for the weekly Yin Yoga Sound baths and Heated Core Pilates. It’s the perfect complement to weight training at Lifetime Fitness. This week I setup in the front row against the mirrors and finished my hardest heated mat pilates to date. Down 48lbs so far with ~7lbs left to go, I almost broke down. It’s taken over a year of painful sacrifices and consistency to create this reality. My inner child was screaming with joy from not only what I was able to do, but how far I could take this. With only few breaks to wipe my face, chug water, and kneel in a pool of sweat I couldn’t believe it. What did I think of after? A chest meal of epic proportions. One of my favorite cheat meals is a juicy rare burger with extra cheese. One of my favorites in town exists at the legendary Holsteins ( @holsteinslv ) now in the arts district. Being from Chicago I had to take down their best in class Golden Cheese Curds with ranch dressing, and of course and I had to try the Thicker than a Snicker [ Peanut Butter, Orange Frosting, Crushed Peanuts, Snickers, Reeses Pieces, Chocolate Pocky Sticks, Caramel Sauce ] with Elvis’s Midnight Snack Peanut Butter, Banana, and Bacon flavored Whiskey. When I cheat, I go all in. for the burger I took down the Billionaire [ Foie Gras & Prime Beef Blend, Provolone, Mushrooms, Onion Marmalade, Port Reduction, Crispy Onions, Arugula & Truffle Pate plus pepper jack cheese ]. Just like when it existed at the Cosmopolitan this place absolutely killed it. I couldn’t finish all of this but my inner fat kid was grateful. The service was on point, the cuisine perfectly prepared to my spec, beyond fresh and flavorful, and I loved the design of the new space. I spend more time in Arts District when it’s warmer out but I’ll definitely be back. Their drink selection was extensive too, but that shake was enough for me. This is why I work out as much as I do. I just space out the cheats farther and farther apart. If you’re staying on the strip this is not too far and there are a ton of local shops close by to find hidden treasures! 🌻💀⏳ #hough2025 #aspiringtriathlete #rewriteyourstory #loveyourlife

What an experience!! My Husband said this was his go to spot at the Cosmo so we had to try their new location in the Arts District. Felix took great care of us. He was attentive, friendly and very accommodating. All the staff members working acknowledged us whether they were taking care of us or not. Great energy in here! The food was incredible with high quality ingredients. I got the classic burger and added American cheese, tempura jalapeños (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and a lettuce wrap. Insanely good! The restaurant has a great ambiance and very aesthetically pleasing. We got the Campfire and cookies & cream milkshakes. Heaven!! The garlic Parmesan fries were hands down the best I've ever had. Easy 5 star review. New favorite burger spot!

Vegan burger is delicious! Well done! You won’t find many vegan options other than that here, because everything fried uses animal grease. If you are a carnivore you have plenty yummy options. Of course their milkshakes are a tradition, and usually good deserts. They did a great job with decoration and they have a great bar to watch games.

Google
Great restaurant with excellent service! We went to Holsteins and had a wonderful meal. This new restaurant in the Arts District does not disappoint. Burgers are great! They are tasty and well prepared. We ordered the Gold Standard Burger, and the Harvest Salmon, along with Onion Rings. Everything was delicious! Service was excellent from Tiana! One note.....Fried Pickles, which we were looking forward to, are only available at the bar during Happy Hour we were told. IMHO, Holsteins is missing an easy add-on menu item which is quite popular. Why not offer them at all times as a side or appetizer?? We will definitely return, and we highly recommend!

Stopped in here for a quick drink. Service was excellent! Friendly bartenders and staff. Didn't try the food but it looked and smelled great! Got to come back and try their happy hour. The burger themed drinks we tried were great!(Bacon brush and Holstiens Hawaiian Necktie).

Nestled in the vibrant heart of the Arts District, Holstein's truly stands out as a culinary destination that masterfully blends elegant ambiance with a wonderfully casual vibe. Our recent visit with a party of four left us thoroughly impressed and planning our swift return. From the moment we stepped inside, the unique, upscale location captivated us. The atmosphere is inviting, striking that perfect balance between refined and relaxed, making it ideal for a special meal without any pretense. Every member of the staff was incredibly gracious, setting a welcoming tone from start to finish. Our server, Sierra, was a true highlight of the evening. Her attentiveness and friendly demeanor ensured our experience was seamless and enjoyable. She anticipated our needs without being intrusive, contributing significantly to the overall outstanding service. And the food? Simply amazing. We started with a generous order of their onion rings and fries, both perfectly crispy and seasoned, setting a high bar for what was to come. For our main courses, two of us indulged in their famous burgers: the rich and flavorful Gold Standard and the perfectly executed Classic. These burgers are undeniably very big, easily shareable, and bursting with juicy goodness. My wife opted for the lighter but equally delectable burrata salad with heirlooms, a fresh and vibrant dish that showcased the quality of their ingredients. Our fourth companion raved about the Crazy Bird chicken sandwich, confirming that Holstein's excels beyond just their renowned burgers. While we didn't get to try their infamous boozy shakes this time, they certainly looked fantastic, promising another reason to revisit. Holstein's offers an unparalleled dining experience in the Arts District, combining an elevated setting with truly outstanding food and genuinely friendly service. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable meal that feels both special and comfortably unpretentious.

An unassuming front entry with a vintage cinema marquee reminiscent of times gone by,brings you into an inviting restaurant with a series of Vegas cow-themed sculptures and old school tunes. They used to reside at the Cosmopolitan on the strip, but have since relocated to the downtown art district area. When we went in, we were greeted with a smile and seated right away. It was a very nice space, very well lit, and felt like an upscale place. We ordered: 1 Bacon Brush cocktail ( bourbon, porter, and bacon) 1 Cucumber Lavender Mocktail( for wifey) 1 Gold Standard ( their signature burger) 1 Holsteins Caesar Salad 1 Side of Kettle Chips Since it was our first time here (we are local) we decided to split the burger and Caesar salad. This ended up being the perfect choice because it was a lot. Everything tasted great and came out quickly. Unfortunately, we did not get one of their signature shakes, but our neighbors did, See photo. We thought it was well worth it for the price. We spent about the same at Gordon Ramsay‘s burger, but I don’t remember getting as many items, there, as we did here. Our server Cailynn was great and attentive. Will definitely come back.

Yelp
If you're looking for a culinary experience that perfectly blends breathtaking aesthetics with top-tier cuisine, look no further than Holsteins in downtown Las Vegas. This vibrant restaurant pulls you in with its modern decor and playful atmosphere, where every detail has been thoughtfully crafted to create a unique dining experience. As soon as you step inside, you are greeted by a lively and inviting ambiance that perfectly captures the essence of Las Vegas. The artwork and quirky decor set a fun tone that's both upscale and approachable, making it a great spot for anything from a casual lunch to a special dinner. Now, let's talk about the food. Holsteins specializes in mouthwatering burgers that are nothing short of a revelation. Each bite is a delightful explosion of flavors, showcasing high-quality ingredients and expert preparation. The classic "Hollywood" burger is a standout, with a perfectly cooked patty, fresh toppings, and their house-made sauces that elevate it to a whole new level. And don't get me started on the milkshakes - they are a must-try! Whether you go for the traditional or one of their signature creations, each shake is a decadent treat that can easily be shared (or not!). The service at Holsteins is equally impressive. The staff is not only attentive and knowledgeable but also exudes genuine warmth and enthusiasm. They take the time to ensure that your experience is nothing short of exceptional, offering great recommendations and catering to any special requests with a smile. In addition to the fantastic food and service, Holsteins also boasts a well-curated drink menu that includes craft cocktails and an impressive selection of beers. The perfect pairing for your meal, the drinks are expertly crafted and add another layer of enjoyment to your dining experience. Overall, Holsteins is a must-visit for anyone in downtown Las Vegas, whether you're a local or just passing through. From the stunning aesthetics and vibrant energy to the incredible food and friendly service, every aspect of this restaurant exudes excellence. I left feeling not only satisfied but already planning my next visit. Don't miss out on this gem - you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
This is our favorite burger place in Vegas. We loved the location at Cosmopolitan and are so happy to visit the new location. I had the NomNom burger. My son had the Green Chili burger. We split an order of the garlic Parmesan fries. I am often disappointed by not enough garlic on the fries but this is not the case. These had the perfect amount of garlic and Parmesan. Absolutely delicious. We definitely wanted to finish the fries so I took half of my burger home. Great service and experience.

Yelp
We were starving and in the area, so we stopped in at Holstein's for happy hour. Their "happiest meal" is a great deal. For $16, you can enjoy a 7 oz cheeseburger, fries, and drink (including beer). Such a steal! They also have this offer with a Caesar salad (vs. burger). The bartender gave us the best hack with encouraging an order of each. I would pass on the salad but the burger was a solid home run. The buffalo chicken nachos are also INSANE!!! The way they drenched buffalo sauce on this chips without them getting soggy is pure magic. The interior decor is also so chic and retro. I look forward to coming back to try that infamous steak sandwich.

Yelp
The scored is based on the amazing service and crazy friendly staff and the truffle fries. While walking some guy was yelling about how this was the best burger in Vegas...bold claim. Curiosity got the best of me and off I went... Ordered the French onion smash burger as the waitress said it was fantastic, the truffle fries, and the nutella boozy shake. The smash burger had absolutely nothing smashed about it. Overall disappointing for the price and the description. Skip this. The truffle fries are fantastic! Order these! The shake had a strong Hersheys chocolate flavor that overpowered everything. There was nothing boozy about this. Skip. Overall the vibes and service make this place. If you're in the area it's worth a shot.

Yelp
Holsteins is a burger, milkshake, and bar type of restaurant located in the arts district of downtown Vegas. If they sound familiar to you then maybe you remember them from their original location in the Cosmopolitan Hotel/Casino. They do offer somethings other than burgers like appetizers, a few salads, a couple entrees, a chicken sandwich, a salmon burger, and a veggie burger. Chances are that you are going to order one of the burgers because they are fresh ground in-house. I was told that they are a blend of wagyu and chuck. I can tell you that the burgers were tender and the juiciest burgers I think I had anywhere. They were also prepared to perfection and both were seasoned nicely. Between us we had the BBQ Green Chili Burger, a Rising Sun Burger, Sweet Potato Fries, and Onion Rings. The burgers are large and I took 1/2 of mine home but my husband ate all of his. The sweet potato fries and the onion rings were prepared perfect and are also large portions that are also well seasoned. Our server Adrian was very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. He was the best. RUN don't walk you need to try a burger here!

Yelp
What a great spot for HH. I had a court around the corner and what better way to celebrate a WIN with HH at Holsteins. I've dined at the original location at Cosmopolitan Hotel and so happy that they are in Downtown instead. I've passed by here multiple times and finally gave them a try. Easy parking on the street and its a pretty good sized restaurant and we sat in the booth. Sierra was our server and she was absolutely great. Attentive and friendly. Shes an asset to the restaurant. Food: HH Cheeseburger with Fries add bacon HH Fried Pickles And Drinks... The cheeseburger was cooked perfectly. Good taste and glad we added bacon. It did need a little bit of salt so it made it delcious. The fried pickles was also amazing. Definitely a spot to check out.

Yelp
This spot never disappoints! I was a regular at the original location at The Cosmo so when I saw they moved DTLV and less than a mile away, it was a no brainer. Great location too, busy on that part of Main Street Friday and Saturday nights. It was nice to see a good crowd, all the tables were full. I sat at the bar. The restaurant is decorated with attention to details. Had the classic burger and fries. It didn't disappoint! Great flavor, amazing beef and the fries were pretty good! The bartenders were amazing and engaging!

Yelp
I stopped in at Holstein's and ordered the Gold Standard burger with avocado added, and honestly, it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The patty was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor, and the toppings worked so well together. The avocado added a nice creamy touch that balanced everything out. I also had the onion rings on the side. They were a little salty for my taste, but the crunch was spot on and they held up really well without getting soggy. The overall experience was excellent--great food and a fun vibe. If you're looking for a standout burger in Vegas, this place definitely delivers. Service was very good as well. The servers are attentive and had a great, upbeat attitude.

Yelp
Cute burger and shake restaurant with the best booths. The garlic parm truffled up fries haunt my dreams in the best way and are well worth the upgrade. Honestly you can split a burger and I recommend doing so and getting a shake (with both alc and non alc offerings) as they are to die for. Every time we've gone the service has been excellent and so quick the moment it even looked like we needed anything. Holsteins is in a great location in the arts district and is phenomenal for walking around and getting hungry. I strongly recommend.

Yelp
I had a great dining experience at Holstein's new location in the Arts District. The space is very nice, modern but comfortable (not pretentious), service was very friendly and attentive, everyone in the restaurant was also friendly. My burger was perfectly cooked and had very good flavor. The fries and sweet potato fries were also very good. I love that they use beef tallow for their fries because it really just makes a better tasting one. I don't recall my experience at their old location being as good. I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Caitlyn M.

Yelp
So excited to have this new location in the Arts District!! Food was all 10/10, service was next level & ambiance is leaving me wanting more. I would definitely come back even just to grab happy hour at the bar. $5 beer & wine! Buffalo Chicken Nachos : delicious but prepare to get messy, the chips are doused in buffalo sauce & you will need extra napkins. Happy Hour Burger : my mom & husband got this and said it was delicious and juicy. It was only $16 and came with fries and a drink. Veggie Burger : not on happy hour $19 no fries or drink included but loaded with veggies & so good!! Cookies & Cream Milkshake : we got ours without alcohol and it was super tasty. A large portion we shared between 3 people. Will be back again!

Yelp
After two plays of the Fallout Fringe Festival, I came here for dinner. They used to be that the Cosmopolitan on the Strip but closed that restaurant and ended up opening in the Arts District. I was seated at the rear of the dining area where they have some two tops so a solo diner can sit at a table or the bar. After looking at the menu, I went with the Crazy Bird--a blackened chicken breast with bacon, lettuce, tomato, pepper jack cheese, and chipotle ranch. For a side, I got an order of fries. The sandwich and the burgers I saw leave the kitchen window are very large and filled with all kinds of ingredients. I should know by now to cut the bun in half, but I didn't. It was a challenge to eat, but it was well worth it. I opted not to get one of their shakes. They looked tempting but I had eaten enough and I passed on dessert. I'm pleased they're in the Arts District. It's one more choice if you go early and want to have dinner before a show.
google avatar

Tori K.

Yelp
The food here was amazing the burgers are top tier. I got the Off the Hook Salmon burger with sweet potatoes and it was so good I ate the whole thing. Which I never do so that means a lot. We will definitely be back at least once a week. The ambiance reminded me of being in a different country but was super cozy and we loved the vibe. Sierra was the best server I've had in such a long time. She helped recommend things on the menu and made our experience amazing. Love her! Can't wait to come back. I loved my S'mores martini definitely coming back for that.

Yelp
We loved the location on the strip and my Hubbs was so excited that they opened downtown- he chose to have his birthday dinner here! The space is pretty small but it's great! Super cute inside. We were greeted immediately when we walked in and sat right away. There were 5 adults and a highchair. The tables are pretty small so be prepared to be cozy. We ordered the Brussel sprouts appetizer and chicken lollipops and both were really yummy! 4 of us ordered the same burger, the nom nom and it was good, but really salty, one person ordered the Gold Standard and it was perfection!! So delicious. One order of fries and one onion rings for the table to share and we all left full! My Hubbs couldn't wait to order his boozy shake and he ordered the Campfire S'mores it was delicious! My grandson was really mad about papa's shake so we had to order a shake he could have some of. That's the only complaint I have - they don't have kids sized shakes so we had to order a $13 shake for a 2 year old. Super bummer. We will definitely be back to Holsteins!!

Jennifer J.

Yelp
This place is spot on! Everything was amazing and perfected to the "T". We had two burgers and a shake with onion rings and the parmesan truffle fries. It was definitely indulgent.
google avatar

Yelp
don't let the neon cow fool you! Curiosity definitely got the best of me. I pass by this place all the time, took a look at the menu and decided a burger seemed good to eat after walking all day. ambiance - that is definitely what you are paying for, it's a chic "high" end burger joint. i was pleasantly surprised by the decor. nothing out the ordinary since we do have esters, petite boheme, and bar ginza. service - i think maybe our bartender was having a bad day, i don't know ‍ but she didn't seem happy (i also understand you can have bad days) there was just lack of eye contact, being extremely short. moving our food and grabbing the check before we even finished our cocktails, was a weird move for me. i know every restaurant has different rules after signing a check, but we decided to not finish our cocktails and leave. i get grabbing it means ending a service, but no "thank you" just moved our things while we were chatting and grabbed it. just a very awkward interaction overall. food- got the bbq green chili burger, philly egg rolls and onion rings. you're def paying for the ingredient quality. food was good, but that's just it. as always, try it for yourself! looks like many other yelp elites like it. my opinion is, you're not missing out if you do decide to pass. overall it's a 3/5 for me in terms of food/experience. i like to base reviews on if the food is worth it enough to come back, the response is not i will not.

Yelp
Ugh, I'm torn here. The place is beautiful and very inviting. Staff is friendly and professional and the burger was fire . However, it was way too expensive. Fries don't come with the burger so after burger, sweet potato fries and a Diet Coke it was over $50 with tip. I'm sorry but there's not a burger on this earth that's worth that much. It's giving strip prices at an off strip location and as a local that's definitely not my vibe. I'd give it a 3.5 star if it was an option but ripping people off by overcharging isn't something I can get behind. There's too many awesome burger places in this city that are reasonably priced that overpaying doesn't make sense. I'm not sure if I'll be back again but I can tell you- IF I were to visit, it wouldn't be often. Maybe once a year. Check it out for yourself and see if you think pricing is fair.

Yelp
This is our third visit here and each one is better than the previous one. The food is incredible and I love how they do their own little twist on traditional dishes. The avocado tostada is amazing. And this is not just a milkshake and burger place so don't be fooled! The staff is incredible and every time I've been here they've been so nice and fun. Highly recommend going here soon.

Yelp
Such a cool vibe here. The manager came out to introduce himself, the staff was friendly. The food was delicious. Everything was perfect here, definitely will recommend my friends to come out here.
google avatar

Ashlynh D.

Yelp
I came here to grab food after a few drinks with a some friends and it definitely hit the spot! It's a lot fancier looking inside than I was expecting so I felt a little underdressed. The service was very quick and made sure to ask if we wanted any sides which is nice because it's not included like most burger places. The price point isn't too high but I think including fries with one burger should just be the norm, not something else that must be purchased

Yelp
WSOP Day 20 - Running bad and getting slaughtered in the mid stakes PLO streets. Not in the right mental space to play anymore poker for the day. Arts District food and booze crawl! There back! They have shed their boogie Cosmo vibe and now embrace their home in the Arts District. Fun throw back decor, warm and welcoming services, beers from their Arts District neighbors on tap. A much more inviting locals vibe. First, the most important thing, yes, the adult milkshakes are there for all of you non lactose intolerants. Enjoy your 2000 calories. I hope the sugar keeps you up all night. JK. Burgers are as before. Not smash burgers rather the good ole juicy patty, cheese, veg, and sauce between nicely toasted buns. The "Forager Burger" takes a patty of cooked down mushrooms and beef that pairs so well with a caramelized onion marmalade and melting Swiss cheese goodness. The "Gold Standard", a bacon, cheddar burger brought to life by a sulfurous chive aioli. Solid onion rings but it's the fried pickles that will have you wanting more. Different in a good way, more like pickle tempura with a lighter, airier coating. Zesty on its own it does not need the provided sauce. Very good HH with great deals on local beers. An unexpected find while on an Arts District food and drink crawl. A welcome addition to the area.

Yelp
This place is nestled right in the middle of Main St and has been relocated from inside the Cosmo. The shakes are offered boozy with one shot and are hearty in terms of their sugar content and whimsies. Be prepared to share or leave it behind as it can't be packed in a to go cup. The forager burger was well cooked and delicious with a perfectly fried egg and spread. The bun was soft but nicely toasted. The only disappointment for me really was the crazy thickness of the shake and the fries were a bit underwhelming. Fries also need to be ordered ala carte. The service was super friendly at the bar and the rest of the restaurant was full at about 7 on a Wednesday. The interior was super fun.
google avatar

Christina K.

Yelp
Holsteins used to be at Cosmopolitan but moved downtown. Inside it's lively, has great modern decor, and has a friendly staff. You see this huge milkshakes being served which looks like a meal in itself. Rather than go for a sugar high, I tried a burger with hatch chile. I was told that the beef mix has a lot of brisket in it which makes it super tender. Sides such as fries are a la carte. Noticing that the burgers are quite big, I just ordered one to share. The burger was really really good. It was $23 for just the burger but I do have to give it props. Juicy, tender, with really flavorful ingredients. I will say that I was really happy and satisfied with the burger! I'm told that their Korean burger is a must try so that will be on the next visit. Also, they have a great Happy Hour and might even look at offering a reverse HH soon! Fingers crossed!

Yelp
Went to Holsteins mid September 2025 and it's a must stop in Las Vegas. Everytime I visit family I make sure to come for the truffle fries. Holsteins Is the reason I developed a taste for truffle fries. The service was good and the waiter checked in every 5 minutes. The ambiance was good as well. Will be coming back.

Yelp
We followed Holsteins from their days at the Cosmo to their new spot in the Arts District -- and we're so glad we did! We popped in right before close (never an easy time for a team), but the entire crew couldn't have been more welcoming, hospitable, and genuinely kind. Shout outs to Diana, King and Warren! The $10 boozy milkshake special was what brought us in -- but the incredible service is what will keep us coming back. Pair top-notch hospitality with those decadent, delicious milkshakes, and you've got a winning combo. Highly recommend checking them out if you're anywhere near the Arts District. This place is a Vegas gem!
google avatar

Madelyn T.

Yelp
Holsteins found a new home at the Arts District and you won't be disappointed! Gone are the days of having to drive to the strip just to enjoy their buns and shakes! From the moment I walked in up until I left, I must say the service was amazing. I was greeted by the two beautiful ladies up front at the hostess booth and was seated immediately. My burger was great and cooked to my liking. Milkshake was 1000/10 and a must try when you're in there! Pick that over a cocktail! Overall great place and great spot! Be sure to check them out.

Yelp
I got the forager burger and it was amazing! The burger had great flavor and was juicy. Tried the chipotles ranch and it went well with the fries. Did not leave me feeling overly full, perfect size. Definitely have to come back soon.

Yelp
Holsteins has been a favorite of mine for a few years when they were at the Cosmo. So I was very excited to find out since closing that location they opened off the strip. It's about 10 mins from the Wynn / Resorts world area of the strip. The burgers, onion rings, shakes, fries,& drinks have NEVER disappointed. Our server Diana was so genuine & knowledgable, giving us information about Holsteins & other areas in Vegas to visit. Highly recommend stopping here for GREAT food. Love this place.

Yelp
Weird energy. The food was good, but between the server and bartender, they were miserable. Our drinks didn't come until after we finished our meal. They claimed they were short staffed but other tables received there's before us even though we ordered first. I requested they cancel the drink order then the server sent the manager over stating that the server said I wanted to speak with a manager? I did NOT. I didn't ask for anything other than the check. That was odd behavior and dimmed the experience.

Yelp
Love it greatest place love this place amazing food, really different and interesting and high-end quality. Best hamburgers to dessert. Will knock your socks off true value here if you wanna go to a nice place it's clean downtown. There's a lot to do and eat at one of the best restaurants in Las Vegas Vegas you need to go to the Holsteins

Yelp
Service/Staff were great and our food and drinks were delicious! Definitely make reservations as it does get busy.

Yelp
Our third time to this location, This is a review for locals, living here in Las Vegas. It's very hard to find places that will actually give you value. Holsteins I will start off with as a great environment, good servers and staff, but there is absolutely no value to eating here. I ordered a steak sandwich that cost $27 dollars an absolutely had a zero value to what I paid, my wife ordered a cocktail, french fries, and a hamburger. Our bill was $122, plus tip. When they first opened, we had to wait 10 minutes for lunch to get a seat, today there was two people in there. This place is out price themselves, they think they're too good for locals and all they're waiting for is more tourist to come pay them one time and never come back. It's disappointing because the arts district is where locals go, and places like this are trying to make it into a tourist place or locals can't afford to eat Shop or even park anymore. It's too bad, they have such good staff such a nice environment, but they've decided to jab and nickel and dime the locals. We will never be back. They've taken a total of $400 from us and we've eaten lunch 3×2 people.

Yelp
Should have taken a picture of the best burger I have ever had in my life!!! The French Onion Burger was absolutely delicious!!!!! A mix of a prime rib dip and French onion soup. These Garlic Parm fries were yummy too.

Yelp
Food was good, priced on the high end. Ordered onion rings because we were told they were battered, they are not. Service was great! We tried, probably a one and done.

Yelp
We just got drinks and appetizers but it was yummy!! I definitely recommend their Brussels sprouts and garlic truffle fries. Their cheese curds could have been better. Staff were nice!

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience with the food, atmosphere and service. We had the happy hour cheeseburger and fries, salmon tostadas. All the food was so fresh and flavorful, but the big fun surprise was the bom-boozy funky monkey milkshake. We can't recommend Holstein's enough, so don't hesitate, just go and have a great time. And if you're lucky, you'll get to meet the chef who created all the wonderful items on the menu.

Yelp
HOLSTEINS IS BACK!!! This place has so many great eats that I would drive to the strip just to eat here! Although there is a change to my favorite dish (the Caesar Brussels) their new version is good too. We got their garlic fries! One of those things i would crave and only found here! So good! We tried the new Brussels, which were good but not my favorite, the Rising Sun Burger, and the Green Chile Burger. Food was awesome, we came on opening night and surprisingly it was not busy. The ambiance was chill and relaxed which was nice. Service was great, friendly, and quick! The only thing I think they missed is my burger did not have the tempura jalapeños, which is the reason I got the burger because I love spicy food. Instead it had tempura avocado, which I don't like avocado at all, but i still ate it because I am not a complainer with food! Overall I am happy they're back!! Will be stopping by often!

Yelp
Great service and hamburgers. The thickness of the burger is big and juicy with good flavor. And I like their Ceasar salad I think because I don't taste a heavy garlic flavor.

Yelp
This place is so good that I crave it! My favorite is the Gold Standard with grilled chicken instead of beef and the Mustard Muse. I know a mustard cocktail sounds crazy, but it's like a slightly sweet hot mustard. So good!

Yelp
Where do I start! The food, service and atmosphere were amazing!! From the minute we walked in the door, we were greeted by a manager who walked us to our booth. Our server Warren, was very attentive and recommended things from the menu. We had the Gold Standard burger, salad and garlic fries. All were delicious! They knew we were celebrating our anniversary and brought us a complimentary dessert. I would give this place 10 stars if I could!

Yelp
We had a fantastic experience at Holsteins this past Sunday! Though this location is a bit smaller than the original, the trendy ambiance and lively vibe more than made up for it. We sat at the bar, and our server, Warren, was outstanding-attentive, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Warren had an Awesome personality, he was always smiling, and checked up on our party often. Our drinks were never empty, and his recommendations were spot on. Im not sure what our whole party got but I ordered the Rising Sun burger, and it was incredible. Perfectly cooked and loaded with flavor from the tempura avocado, kalbi sauce, furikake, and spicy mayo-it was a unique twist that absolutely worked. We started with the Reuben bites and the buffalo chicken dip which were a delicious surprise, and shared the garlic Parmesan fries, which were crispy, flavorful, and addictive. Top-notch food, excellent service, and a fun atmosphere. Holsteins is definitely worth it! We will be back again! So happy that they are back!

Yelp
Top 3 burger in Vegas so far and I am talking about a few dozen recent attempts (for science). Great cocktail. Salad also very solid. Expected a more casual vibe from the exterior but great dark and moody atmosphere with long bar and friendly folks. It shall be in my rotation.

Yelp
Great restaurant with excellent service from start to finish!

Yelp
Great ambiance. Great service. Delicious burgers and interestingly great cocktails! New spot on the block did not disappoint.

Yelp
Came here with some friends for dinner. Service wasn't great and the food and cocktails were also nothing to run home about. I probably won't go back again.
