It’s a huge German beer garden that’s centrally located, right near UT and the Moody Center, and it’s long been one of the top tailgating destinations in Austin. This local favorite opened in 1866 and has spent the last century and a half perfecting its snappy-skinned brats, vinegar-packed potato salad, and massive Bavarian pretzel served with beer cheese.
