We visited Thai House around 6 PM, on a Tuesday. Upon entering the atmosphere was very welcoming, and the host very friendly. We were honestly a bit worried by how empty it was, besides us ordering takeout, there were only two tables seated. However, after tasting the food, we were even more surprised! This place is a hidden gem!
While waiting for the food to cook, the host brought us a couple of to go waters, which was nice because we hadn't asked for any and we were thirsty, haha. The orange chicken was amazing, especially the sauce.. so good it reminded me of Panda Express's orange chicken from the early 2000s, when it used to be off the hook! The meat was seasoned, super tender and juicy, yet perfectly crispy on the outside. We also had the green curry with chicken and zero spice. The container was at least, if not more than, halfway loaded with thinly sliced chicken. I wish there would have been a tad more vegetables (there were exactly five spinach leaves, a couple of bell pepper strips, and five or six chucks of eggplant), but the large amount of chicken definitely made up for that. Even with zero spice, it was pretty spicy for us, though not uncomfortably so. The two Thai teas without ice helped tame that spice bite.
Overall we were very pleased with this visit, and will definitely be returning for more. Super kudos to the chef!
