As real as it gets, we’re happy we changed plans and went to this place instead. It was my best meal in Bologna! Went there for lunch without reservation and got in without waiting.

We couldn't have started our week better than with a meal at Le Golosità Di Nonna Aurora! The food was absolutely delicious, rich in flavor, and full of authenticity—just like a home-cooked Italian meal should be. Every bite was a delight, and you can truly feel the love and passion in their dishes.

We had the pleasure of closing our trip to Italy with a lunch at Le Golosita Di Nonna Aurora. Best food I have yet to eat in Italy.

Spent 20€ on taxi one way to arrive at 8pm and the restaurant was closed, but hours online said open. :(

Said they had no tables (restaurant nearly empty) and then let 2 locals in and led them to a table. Complete discrimination against tourists.

Been coming here for over ten years. This is my third time and the food has been consistently amazing. I also appreciate how welcoming they are each time we come.

Located outside the city center district this restaurant might not appear as a good choice. Deciding with this in mind will be a huge mistake. No matter if you visit Bologna for just a day or for a longer period, this restaurant should definitely be in your plans. The traditional recipes are prepared to perfection and served in the simplest and most polite way possible. The portions are more than enough making it impossible to try out more than a small number of dishes. Make sure you book way in advance of your visit especially when you are a large group.

Tourists beware. I walked all the way from bologna centro and I was turned away. The manager told me the restaurant was booked all day but i could see table open. I speak Italian but it didn't matter. Clearly they don't want tourists, which is fine if you are a local. But don't waste your time walking here, if they are going to deny you a table because you are not from bologna.
