This place is a gem! Delicious food. Wonderful service! Everything we had was absolutely amazing. The only drawback here is parking. The place is small and has a consistent stream of patrons so getting a parking spot can be tricky and might create a bit of a walk but well worth it! The menu is vegetarian friendly with many options for everyone.

Holy mother of biscuit! On a Sunday morning, while visiting Salt Lake City, my husband and I came to Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade. Luckily, we beat the brunch rush and managed to get a table right away. But by the time we left, the entire restaurant was full, and there were several people waiting outside. From the start, the service was extremely friendly and engaging. Our drinks and our food came out fast without feeling rushed. I decided to try their seasonal pumpkin spice latte made with oat milk. It was refreshing and had the perfect pumpkin flavor without being artificial. To start, my husband, and I shared an order of the hash bombs which were essentially hashbrowns that were shaped into balls, packed with cheese, and deep-fried. They were tasty, and I enjoyed the aïoli dipping sauce that accompanied them. For my entrée, I decided on the biscuit Benedict with Cubano meat while my husband ordered the Hoss. Both dishes were a very hearty portion and more than enough food for both of us. They left us feeling quite full for the remainder of the day. The biscuit Benedict had great flavor and the Cubano meat was extremely tender. You can tell that they really put their heart and soul into their biscuits and every dish that they serve. This is one of those great breakfast eateries that every city should have and I’m glad we had the opportunity to try it.

First time eating here! So yummy! Highly recommend!!! We had the Hoss, eggs Benedict, spicy honey chicken, and the tacos. Anna was our server & she was fabulous!

The Arnold Palmer limeade!!! Star of the show for sure. We also had the mother butter clucker (pancakes and chicken), hash brown bites, and the blueberry biscuit bread pudding. My husband liked their pancakes and loved their eggs, but wasn’t as impressed with the chicken. It was more of a lightly breaded chicken breast, not what you typically think of when you think “chicken and waffle” adjacent. Everything was really nice, but not knock your socks off- except for the service and the limeade!! Their biscuits and gravy have won a few Best of Utah awards so I would try those if we go back.

Such a cute place for brunch! I went on a Tuesday and loved the laid back chill vibes. The honeydew limeade was amazing! And the Hoss sandwich with poached egg! Omg! The cappuccino was good too. A lot of times coffee is just so so at breakfast places like this, but this coffee was great! I’ll be back!

Amazing food! The hash bombs are a must-have! Ordered the sleazy sandwich and couldn’t recommend it enough! Had a couple of out-of-towners visiting and the got the Hoss and the Chilaquiles. The former was a hit. The later was…not. It’s was a sloppy mess of meat on soggy nachos (their words not mine).

I had a wonderful solo breakfast here! Special thanks to Anna and Suzie for excellent service and making me feel welcome. Highly recommend to everyone visiting; I got there before 9:30am and had no trouble being seated but it was picking up by 10am. I got the fresh mint limeade (divine, pure cane sugar at the bottom of the glass 🤤), hash bombs (incredible, definitely use the lime sauce), and the blueberry biscuit bake (only complaint here was the bottom was so tough I ended up not eating it, the rest was a delight).

Glad I stopped while visiting Salt Lake City. Had the Benedict (added chicken) and the cheesy hash — both really good. Don’t skip the hot sauce either, the green sauce was amazing. Solid breakfast spot if you’re in the area.

This is an adorable little spot for breakfast. Highly recommend if you love biscuits, gravy, hell breakfast in general. The limeades are refreshing and lovely. Our waitress, Eunice, was sweet and fun to talk to. Thanks again Eunice! Sending kudos from San Diego!

I came to Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade to meet a local friend for brunch. She highly recommended it as a meeting and eating spot since she lives nearby, and we had a really nice meal. Living up to its namesake, the restaurant's limeade is fantastic. It's refreshing, flavorful, and totally worth the $7-$8 price per glass. While I was disappointed that there aren't any sugar-free or lower calorie options, it's just a fact that Utahans sure know how to do limeade right! I went with the classic limeade and it was the perfect complement to my meal, tangy and tart with just enough sweetness. The menu is extensive but very reasonably priced, with tons of all-day brunch options. I chose the hot honey chicken biscuit, and it did not disappoint. I'm a Southerner by birth, and nobody can make biscuits that hold a candle to my grandmama's. But these were pretty tasty! Fluffy and flavorful with a little crunch on the bottom crust. The portion size was very generous (I couldn't finish my meal, but the dishes here don't lend themselves well to a future as reheated leftovers). Everything felt fresh, locally sourced, and thoughtfully made (this is the restaurant's M.O. after all). Service was friendly and the overall food quality was high. The space itself is a bit cramped, and it can get loud during busy times. There were times we had difficulty holding a conversations and hearing each other because of the acoustics inside the dining room. Parking was super tricky since this was a Saturday, so plan ahead if you're coming with a car on the weekends. I think Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade is a good choice for anyone in Salt Lake City who loves southern-style brunch with a local twist. Between the biscuits, creative limeades, and friendly vibe, it's easy to see why this place has become a local favorite. Apparently, the restaurant started out as a stand at the Downtown Farmer's Market in 2009 and has grown from there! That alone speaks volumes!

The chilaquiles here were so delicious! Definitely another dish I would come back again.The bread pudding was okay.

Convenient place from airport to Costco to Park City for a spin on all American creative breakfast, great service as well. Love the homemade chili sauce on the food

Had a very nice breakfast of biscuits & gravy, along with sausage, eggs, and potatoes. The gravy was a bit over-salted and over-peppered for my taste, but that's just me. Would definitely go back for a meal were I in the area.

Loved Sweet Lake! Their limeade is and the food equally delicious. Portions are large so I shared The Hoss and a side of Hash Balls and it was plenty for us to both leave full. Service was super fast having us in and out from seating to walking out the door in 25 min. Would definitely come back when we're in town.

Amazing food. Thank you for using REUSABLE plates, forks, napkins and straws. The world needs no more plastic. The limeade drinks were DELICIOUS with a sugar rim and fresh mint!!

Stopped by for breakfast and got their Hoss with the loaded hash -- both were delicious and filling. They make their biscuits in house I believe and it is soft and buttery! We also enjoy their limeade stand at the farmer's market on the weekends! It's pretty expensive, but it's superrefreshing on a hot day.

Great spot to grab brunch! They had a lot of good menu options and I loved all the variations of lemonade! The Benedict I got aaa delicious and I loved the hashbrowns with the quinoa!

We got: * the Hoss - so good with the crispy quinoa hash browns * Chilaquiles - pretty good but we've had better elsewhere * Kids Breakfast - the pancake was so fluffy and the kids loved the bacon * Raspberry Limeade - this was pretty tart- the kids liked the cucumber mint one better than the raspberry one * Cucumber Mint Limeade- surprisingly good! I wasn't sure I would like it. The mint was subtle. Kids liked it too * Strawberry Tall Cake: so good! the biscuit had a great texture with a bit of crunch, and the strawberries and strawberry sauce and whipped cream all combined perfectly together

Decent breakfast spot. Ambiance: Street parking, and small initial store front but they have a pretty large back area for seating. Super cute decor with a fun vibe. Service: I was with a pretty large party, but they were able to seat us quickly despite being busy. Server was also efficient and friendly. Food: Everyone had a variety of things, but the limeaide was sweet and refreshing, the basic B was decent and what you wanted out of a biscuit breakfast sandwich, and the hash bomb was deliciously fried. Overall, nice spot for breakfast!

We wanted to try this place out to see what all the hype was about. When we arrived it was a 45 minute wait. Totally understandable given it was a Sunday morning & everyone was out & about for brunch. Place was crowded so it was small & quaint. But still manageable given how popular they are. Waiter was nice & we got our order in. We got the Hash Bombs appetizer (so good), Biscuit Benedict with fried chicken (this was alright) the fried chicken tasted like a frozen patty that was reheated, Breakfast Tacos (okay), & Mother Butter Clucker (yummy). Our limeades were really good too. However, some of the food was bland but if we do try it again - we'll have to try other dishes.

The location has parking in the back of the restaurant. Upon arrival was welcomed and taken to table. Server was very professional and friendly, offering menu suggestions upon request. Both the meal, beverages and dessert were wonderful. Thank you to the team!

Customer service here was fantastic, i'm also impressed by our waitress who took down 4 people's orders + customizations w/o any notes! Parking lot can be a bit tough especially when it's crowded. Recommend getting Hoss - fried chicken biscuit loaded with gravy 4.5/5 Biscuit benedict - 3/5 nothing crazy, thought it was comparable to other benedicts, but maybe user error and should've added the cubano meat to it. Not sure though as $20 for an egg benny is pretty pricey, $16 w/o the cubano meat Def try their limeades, made in house!

This place is great it's been a staple in SLC for a while but I'm rating based on the recent price hikes on the menu this should be considered a $$$ three money sign breakfast/brunch spot now

Biscuits were really fluffy and buttery. We ordered the Hoss and the Garden Eggs Benedict. Both dishes were very satisfying and filling! I felt that every element of the dish was thought out and meshed well together. The only reason I would give 4 stars is because of the drinks. We ordered the raspberry limeade and honeydew limeade and while the raspberry one was pretty good, the honeydew one had no honeydew flavor and was underwhelming. Both drinks also had a layer of sugar on the bottom so every other sip was just a mouthful of sugar.. The service didn't stand out to me in a good or bad way. Overall, I think I would come back!

Sweet Lake Biscuits and Limeade is such a hidden gem! It's a cute little local eatery with a warm, mom-and-pop diner vibe. The space isn't overly big, but it's cozy and compact, with a great atmosphere that makes you feel welcome right away. The service here is outstanding. On my first visit, I had no idea what to expect from the menu, but our waitress was so patient and friendly. She asked questions to help guide us, offered suggestions, and even let us swap out a biscuit for a bun and get gravy on the side. That kind of flexibility and attention makes a first-time guest feel right at home. The food portions are generous--huge, actually--and the quality is top-notch. Everything we tried was delicious, from the upgraded hash with jalapeños (I normally don't like jalapeños, but this was perfectly balanced!) to the loaded Hash Bombs, which were incredible. You can tell this is a place where care goes into the details. It wasn't too crowded when we went, but I can see this being a favorite local spot that fills up quickly. The whole staff was welcoming and made the experience even better. Overall, Sweet Lake really is one of those neighborhood treasures. Whether you're local or just visiting from out of town, you can't go wrong stopping here. I'll definitely be back--and I'll be recommending it to my friends!

So the Fam is in SLC this weekend and if you remember correctly, I LIKE FOOD. Off the beaten path and most likely a local spot, this establishment is "scrumdiliumpshish" (yes that's a word). When you open the door you hit hard with a succulent smell that will make your mouth water. They sat us quickly and we started with raspberry limeade and I had a Bloody Mary. Both drinks were two thumbs up. The food was incredible and they will make it anyway you want. We all breakfast and I had biscuit eggs Benedict with chicken, the spousal unit had a blueberry muffin bake and our daughter had the sleazy sandwich. Long story short...the fam is very pleased and stuffed. So do yourself a flavor and try this gem out!!!!!

Delicious biscuits and delicious limeade! To top it off, the sweetest staff. Loved all of the limeades-- personally liked the mint limeade the best, but my boyfriend liked the cucumber melon the best. The raspberry limeade was also great! Wasn't too hungry so we just got the biscuit bar & my friend got the Hoss. Biscuits are so buttery, rich, but also light and slightly flaky! Loved them with the butter best, since they were so good on their own. The Hoss was great as well-- I really enjoyed the savory gravy with the biscuit. Perfect meal!

While vacationing in Utah, we needed a good breakfast spot on a Sunday morning before church and stumbled upon this absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. I started with their famous peach iced tea (so refreshing!) and a peppermint hot chocolate that was perfectly cozy for a chilly morning. For breakfast, I ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy and scrambled eggs hands down, the best I've ever had. The biscuits were fluffy, the gravy was rich and flavorful, and the eggs were cooked just right. We also tried the biscuits Benedict with Cubano meat, and it was absolutely delicious. Every bite was full of flavor, and you could tell everything was made with care. Everything we ordered was yummy delicious . Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hearty, satisfying breakfast!

We liked "Biscuit B" (4/5 stars) and "Hoss" (weak 5/5 stars) and loved the raspberry limeade (strong 5/5 stars). I thought the protein was the most disappointing part of the meals because the sausage wasn't that impressive and the fried chicken tasted like it came from the freezer section of a grocery store. That being said, the rest of the meals was tasty, and I'd be open to going back! The raspberry limeade I absolutely loved - it was on the sweet side and I wish it was a bit more sour, but overall I was impressed!! We arrived at 8:45 on a Sunday morning and there was no line. I'd describe the ambience as slightly cuter than fast casual.

A must stop... so yummy. I recommend the fresh mint limeade and the strawberry tall cake. Service was quick and assorted tables for small or large groups. Parking available behind establishment.

The food is DELICIOUS and our server, Filipe, was great. It would receive 5-stars, but I saw some trash on the floor and the prices were exorbitantly high. I loved my raspberry limeade, but it was eight dollars!

Came at a good time and there was a 5 min wait - raspberry lemonade - 5/5 - to die for with fresh raspberries! - peppermint hot cocoa - 5/5 - I'm actually really upset that I got this. It's the best peppermint hot cocoa I've ever had and I want peppermint hot cocoa everyday now and I've tried purchasing all kinds and nothing even comes close. Next up is attempting to make it the way they did - hoss - 4/5 - extremely Hardy and fulfilling. This is one of those you just need one meal for the day kind of things - loaded hash - 5/5 - definitely loaded. Makes no sense to come here and not get this - bananas bayou - 5/5 - flambe away! This was absolutely delicious! This is a super must if you like bananas even in the slightest We ended up having an oddly longer wait than others around us to get our food and were taken care of in the end

This brunch was absolutely fantastic. I read the reviews beforehand and saw that they had a biscuit benedict that had pulled pork, ham, and tomato (a Cubano is my favorite sandwich), and my expectations were so far surpassed. My partner had the chilaquiles, at the recommendation of the server, and she kept raving about it the entire brunch. The drinks were good, the service was good, and the spot itself was really nice--including finding parking. There are times where you read Yelp reviews and choose a spot, pick a meal, and it turns out to be disappointing, and then there are times where you have Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade. I could not be more satisfied, impressed, and sad that I live 8 hours away.

I went once before and loved it. But then I took my family who were visiting from out of town and it was a serious disappointment. I was embarrassed to bring them there. Sever forgot about us. The flavors on my mom's sandwich were flat!!! My chicken sandwich was way too sweet. The best part was the drinks for sure. It's a shame their other restaurants closed because the inside of this location is by far the least appealing. It's still fine though. I won't be back. This 3 star is a mix of my good experience and this most recent experience.

I've driven by Sweet Lake a few times, and finally stopped by! A slight downside to this location is the small parking lot. A few people in our group had to search for street parking, which isn't horrible (at least it's free) but it does take time to walk back to the restaurant after parking. Luckily, our (fairly large) group had a bit of a wait, so we were able to go park and come back before we were seated. Also, if you have a larger group (we had 7 people), an 18% gratuity is automatically added to your bill. Our server was very nice and made sure to point that out to us before we paid for everything on one check. Everyone enjoyed their meals! The workers were super friendly, and let us talk amongst ourselves throughout the meal while still refilling waters and bringing sauces. The garden hash gives you a good helping of food for the $11 price tag.

Went for brunch and the food was great! Only gripe was that I ordered my eggs over easy and they came out hard. We loved the loaded fried hashbrowns! Sat outside with my dog - service was good!

Food was amazing, coffee was amazing, Suzi was our server and she was so sweet and had amazing recommendations. The only downside is we live 3 hours away.. but it will be on our list to come back to!

Some of the best biscuits I've ever had! I have a huge fascination with southern comfort food and needed to stop by. Love the local diner atmosphere. Amazing staff as well. MINT LIMEADE: So fresh and perfect for summer! And with a sugar-crusted rim. Not too sweet and pleasantly zesty. Though I think they mix the cane sugar very lightly-- a pile settles to the bottom. Just be sure to mix as you drink! SIDE OF BISCUITS: The most flaky, buttery biscuits EVER. These are phenomenal. Tasted fantastic with the butter, jam, and honey. I can't praise these enough. Thankfully we only ordered 2 because these are addictive as hell MOTHER BUTTER CLUCKER (sub bacon for egg): ... Maybe not one of their star dishes. The pancakes were very soggy and dense, even without syrup or butter. Not fluffy or crispy at all. The eggs were fine, very runny. Chicken tasted kind of bland. Maybe me subbing out the bacon took away some of the necessary texture/flavor... My bf loved his Brunch Sandwich though. Saw that they sold frozen biscuits on the side-- wish we could've taken some back to California!

Maybe I came in on a bad day? Food wasn't at the hype level that everyone is putting it at. Just mehhhhhh....

What a find!! My new breakfast spot for sure. This place is small maybe 15 tables... so time your arrival well, but even if you have to wait it's worth it. Get a limeade for sure... everything is delicious!!

Stopped in at Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade last July on my way from the airport to Park City, and let me tell you--this place knows how to do comfort food! First things first: that Fresh Mint Limeade. I could drink it by the gallon, but I'm guessing I'd need to ski a LOT to balance that out. Totally worth it. I hit the Early Bird menu (love a good deal!) and got to try two things: Half Benny - I'm a Benny fanatic (check my other reviews), and this one was solid! The hollandaise had a unique twist--not your standard sauce--but the overall dish leaned a bit on the heavy side, especially with the hash. Sun's Out - Sausage gravy? Yes, please. The grilled tomatoes added a nice brightness, but still a very stick-to-your-ribs meal. Maybe a little green salad on the side would help balance things out? Or maybe this is just the kind of cozy, carb-filled goodness you need when it's freezing outside. Overall, Sweet Lake hits the spot if you're craving hearty, Southern-inspired breakfasts with a twist. Just maybe plan a hike (or a ski run) afterward.

It's not what I expected. The price point is beyond reasonable biscuits overpriced if I want a good biscuit, I'm sorry I'll go to Carl's get me some biscuit and gravy for a lot less. It's quicker and hotter at Carl's FOR a third of the cost.

We are visiting SLC and needed some breakfast. This place had great reviews so figured we'd try it out. It was delicious. They had a special with breakfast tacos and my husband had the garden hash. Both were very good. Lots of fresh pico and veggies on both. The corn tortillas we soft and chewy (did not taste like basic store bought tortillas). My husband really enjoyed the fresh salsa and hot sauces they have. The other food we saw looked amazing as well! Their biscuits look so fluffy and light! We came early Saturday morning and were able to be seated right away. Food came out quickly. It is not a large restaurant but it's clean and nicely decorated. We'd come back again just to try the biscuits and a limeade

This place is awesome! Staff are kind and overall service was great. It's a smaller space but with a good amount of tables. You have your option of half booths, normal tables or high tops. The food is fantastic! My daughter got the mother clucker twice (because we came back the next day!) I had two different Bennie's and their hollandaise sauce is rockin! And their hash is crispy with the nice taste of green onion; yum! Their orange raspberry lemonade and the one with honey dew also recommended. And don't get me started on their biscuits definitely check them out. If you're local, you're lucky to have them!

Wow! We shared hash bombs and sweet lake sliders. Hard to pick a favorite slider but maybe the fried chicken slider? They were all good! Enjoyed the hash bombs with the house limeade ranch dip. Big surprise for me was how much we loved the limeade salsa with the house chips! Can't compare that salsa to anything I have had before but it is amazing!

Thought maybe the first time I went and had a dry biscuit was a one-off. Well the 2nd time I went it was not any better. And the server forgot my coffee order until a half hour into the meal, at which point I didn't even want it anymore. Also my dad was looking forward to good old fashioned hashbrowns, but when they arrived full of quinoa seeds he was a little let down. This place has potential, vibe is cute and trendy, but there's some work to do.

We decided to stop in here after flying in and I'm glad we did. It is a small restaurant that had a very homey ambiance. The service was also welcoming. We were sat immediately and ordered the San Antone and banana bayou. San Antone - 8/10 Banana bayou - 11/10 (SO GOOD) It's like a banana pudding but elevated.
