My brother, uncle and I are visiting from Milwaukee and Cincinnati found this delicious gem! Atmosphere is adorable, very clean and welcoming. The food was amazing. Flavor and presentation 10/10 highly recommend! Very affordable for the amount of food they give! Staff was so sweet. We’ll be back for sure!

Really cute on the inside. Salsa bar was so fresh and clean. I ordered a build your own breakfast burrito and it included the very best machaca I've ever had! I'm so glad we saw them on a Fox10 food segment! I'm the picture, my husband is giving a 👍 for scale and he has huge hands--really big burrito!

We just tried tacos this visit but everything was great!!! I would recommend all of the tacos! The atmosphere inside is very vibrant and pleasant. They spend the time to keep the inside very clean, including the salsa bar. I’m definitely going to eat here again to try some of the other options! The parking is pretty limited though. I think there is about 8 spots total. Several people just go through their drive thru. Can’t wait to try something next time!!

This place is absolutely outstanding in every aspect. They just won customers for life! I have lived in Arizona for over 30 years now and this was by far some of the best local Mexican food I've ever had. Everything was so flavorful and prepared with exciting and delicious spices. We ended up ordering soup to go because we want to eat their food for days to come! The service was also fantastic. My significant other is a pretty large man and they went out of their way to make sure he had a comfortable place to sit. Everyone was very helpful and friendly for our entire dining experience. Loved the murals on the wall too! I could go on and on about the individual things we ordered and how good they were, but it would make this review as long as a book!

This is my favorite Mexican spot to go to every time I'm in Mesa. I always get rolled tacos with rice and beans and am never disappointed. Street tacos are always such a good portion and the meat is seasoned and tasty. I always judge places where the entree is good but the rice is dry or the beans have no flavor. That is not the case here, EVERYTHING is good! Food doesn't take long at all and employees are always super nice.

I should've been working on my biochem, but I was hungry and I'd rather be eating here. I met some Spanish guy named Benito there, he said he likes to rides around on a scooter and poetry. He recommended the create your own breakfast burrito and to get the steak, hash browns, with eggs over easy. It did not disappoint, the steak was cooked to perfection and the yoke of the egg blended beautifully with the crispy hash brown. Thank you Benito and thank you to the chef for creating his own version of poetry. I will be returning.

Found this local spot on google maps and it has now become a favorite. They know what they are doing when it comes to food and hospitality. Excited to continue to try their menu. I would’ve shared photos from my own plate- but it was cleared before I could even think.

It was Tuesday, and after waking up and discovering a new show on Netflix about tacos, I started craving them. You know, the kind with fresh, homemade thick maíz tortillas, flavorful meats, and all the right condiments that tie everything together and make you grateful you have taste buds. Yes, those tacos. I quickly googled the best tacos near me and, since I'm greedy and love a good deal, searched for "Taco Tuesday" specials too. Taquitos Jalisco popped up first, and it was only about a mile away, so I decided to give it a try. When I arrived, I noticed the building was small but had a drive-through, which was perfect because it was freezing outside. I pulled up to the drive-through menu, and the first thing that caught my eye was a sign that said, "Like us on Facebook and get two churros." I thought to myself, wow, any place that offers free dessert must be doing pretty well. It gave me a good feeling that they had a healthy customer base, which made me even more confident about stopping by. Looking over the menu, I found it colorful and well organized, which I really appreciate, especially from a family-owned spot. The girl on the intercom was friendly and polite, even when I asked for a moment to review the options. When I asked if they had a Taco Tuesday deal, she said they did not, but that was fine because the taco prices were already pretty decent. I ordered three tacos: carnitas, steak, and a mix of asada and al pastor. My total came to about $6.68, which was not bad at all for three fresh tacos. When I pulled around to the front, I noticed a sign that said "All cards + $0.50." I wish I had brought cash, but even with the small fee, I was extremely pleased with the food I brought home. Overall, the tacos were delicious and satisfying. I have already recommended this place to my boyfriend, and we will definitely be back.

We were in Mesa for my son's judo tournament and decided to get some Mexican food. If you're familiar with Mesa you can throw a rock in any direction and hit several places for Mexican food. The restaurant has around 10 tables and a drive thru so you can get your food in or to go. We chose to eat there and went up to the counter to order. The menu is extensive. I originally wanted the Al Pastor but did not see a trompo so I decided to order just one taco to try it. Instead I ordered the beef fajitas. They were flat top grilled crispy, not wood grilled. That said they were still very good. And you could update probably feed three on just one order. They came with rice and beans as well. My wife got the cheese enchilada and two crispy taco combo. The enchiladas were very good and she saved the tacos for later. The inside was clean and casual while being bright and modern. Our only pet peeve which brought down the rating and also had happened at another restaurant the night before was they started mopping the floors around you with the Fabuloso cleaner which has that smell the overwhelms you and ruins the taste of anything your eating at the time.

I've been coming here for several years, since before the interior was redone. And about the interior - - It is super cute now with pretty cool murals on the wall. On one little section of wall is a painting of Cantiflas, another wall a giant day of the dead girl, and on the opposite wall dancing skeletons and colorful flowers. They also use corrugated tin on the walls which really goes so well. There is a little salsa bar and several booths. These are not really comfortable booths, but they do the trick. The girl at the counter was very nice. When we asked if the green chili pork was hot she said she did not know, but then she went and got a sample for us to taste with chips. It was not hot, but it was delicious! We ordered one of the specials of the day - - a carne asada burrito with three rolled tacos. It was a huge meal, but a delicious meal. We also ordered the green chili pork burrito, and a combo plate with three carne asada tacos. Everything was good especially with the delicious salsas from the salsa bar. The menu is quite large with tacos, burritos, sopas, and tortas. We also sell a lot of people with large cups of horchata. This place is really hopping. When we arrived, the drive-thru had a line all the way out to the street. Inside it was a constant stream of people picking up or ordering to eat in.

A few fellow Yelper friends have reviewed, so this location has been on my radar when I was in the area. The wait to try was definitely worth it! Great menu selection, fresh food, friendly service, and a cozy dining area. A cheese quesadilla may sound simplistic, but some are far superior to others - this being one! Loved the salsa bar and that the quesadillas come with the trio of toppings to elevate the flavor. Definitely return and may try the drive thru to see the convenience of ordering to go.

Wow! Really enjoyed my pork chile burrito. The pork was roasted with tender juicy pork that had some of the crispy ends and flavor from roasting. Tasty moist rice and good beans. Also a very good horchata. Not what I find at home! Reasonable prices!

Listen to the customers and don't assume. Waited 15min in the drive thru for something I didn't want. I ordered an quesadilla with al pastor, got beans with cheese. Now Im hungry and unsatisfied. I paid 17$ no drink included. Smh not worth the high prices.

Tried this after work, there was a drive thru line, but I'm glad there was a drive thru because the inside was "Packed"! I got carne asada plate with double rice (no beans), and another plate with a taco and 2 enchiladas. Wasn't too bad of a wait, but man the food smelled AMAZING! I got home 20 mins later and the food was bomb! The corn tortillas were a little softer than I expected but the carne asada was really good, and the rice . The enchiladas, I practically inhaled. I'd really like to enjoy a sit down at this place. I'll definitely be coming back for a sit down and try more of their menu. Great food!

Revisited and totally love it! This is the best spot. The Al pastor was delicious and surf and turf burrito massive and delicious as well!! And they have a drive thru. Plus totally not stingy on the salsa. Love the food, love the service and love the ambiance. Checks every box for me.

My new taco spot will be here. I really enjoyed this spot as it had so many food options and all of them are tasty. I tried the 3 taco combo and the beans and rice that came with it were delicious! The steak meat was delicious too and they double the tortilla which I find hard to come by nowadays. I also got horchata which was yummy and did not taste like the mix. It had cinnamon chunks in it. The service was ok they were very busy. There is indoor and outdoor seating too which is good. They have a little salsa bar which was good. I enjoyed all of the salsa flavors. Overall, I will be frequenting this drive through more often.

It's hard to find good taquitos and these were great! And the quesadilla was just the way I like them - grilled on a nice big flour tortilla and plenty of queso blanco!

My one star review is mostly because of the service. The service is not good Food we ordered: burrtios- not good at all (do not order Cali burrtios- the potatoes are sliced up potatoes and make the burritos dry) - we had a few- Dry! Carne asada fries- are very good! Chile rellenos- are very good! Good portion! Shrimp cocktail- good and very big portion! Rice and beans- not good Horchata- very good Over alll I probrably wouldn't return.

Very bad experience! We were rushed to order and then the order was incomplete due to order not being read back again. We had to go back through the drive through again and waited over 15 mins to be attended. The food was messy and spilled on the bag. Very unsatisfied. We were loyal customers prior to these incidents but too many issues like these keep occurring . The girls taking orders and at the drive through were very unprofessional and were talking rather than helping customers.

Fast Mexican food with quality. Absolutely loved this place. Wish we lived closer. This plate was terrific and full of flavor. I accompanied it with a piña agua fresca which was equally great. Interior was well decorated and super clean. 3 salsa options as well. I will be back for sure.

Great Mexican restaurant! The menudo was delicious!!! I loved how the birria tacos were a little extra crispy! Keeps the tacos from falling about easily after deeping it in the consome! They give you a big bag of chips and a big cup of salsa! Would def come back! The restaurant decor is very welcoming! Extremely clean! Great customer service! They even have a drive through!

Due to a very spontaneous conversation, I made a quick decision to try Taquitos Jalisco tonight to put two minds at ease :) First, I love the aesthetics of the place, definitely got points there. The art, wavey sheet metal walls and light wood tables and I think gray floors (sorry, I'm colorblind). Whatever they are, I liked it! Lots of seating inside and some tables outside. Store was bright and clean and the employees were friendly with smiles. I got the Cabeza Taco, Pastor Taco and a Green Chili Pork burrito. While the tacos were a tad on the smaller scale even for street tacos, the burrito was HUGE! Everything I had was flavorful and good though...I'm full and satisfied.

The food was fresh and great quality, we got a bunch of different stuff as you can see from the photos attached. The lengua tacos were the star of the show with the shrimp tacos coming in a close second. The sauce the shrimp tacos had was soooooo delicious and complimented the shrimp very well. The lengua was perfectly cooked, served with cabbage and other seasoned toppings including cilantro and onion, we added the green salsa provided on the side to these and they were so good 10/10, the shrimp tacos were 9.5/10 would be a ten if they were grilled or had a little longer time to cook and crisp up (they were not undercooked but I just prefer a grilled shrimp). We got an order of rolled tacos which were AMAZING! All perfectly cooked, covered in lettuce guac and tomato and shredded cheese. They were not too thick or overfilled, the meat to tortilla ratio was perfectly on point and retained the crunch til the very last bite of the last flauta. I also ordered chicken tenders and fries from the kids menu, they were basic, nothing to really talk about there as I didn't eat them and my kiddos aren't old enough to give me feedback but they didn't eat much of the chicken just ate the majority of the fries. This place is a drive thru primarily but they do have some outdoor seating options, we drove to our next destination and devoured our food in the parking lot in our car. No complaints. One thing I would not recommend is the horchata though and that's due to the fact that I kept getting bits and pieces of either rice or cinnamon sticks and it was not very sweet

Absolutely delicious food! Probably the best beans & rice I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant, and I'm picky about my beans & rice. I ordered the carne asada fries, the green chile pork burrito, and the rolled tacos with some kind of pork with everything on them. Bonus points for having a drive-through, so great if you're in a pinch and want something above regular fast food. Service was very fast and they were very patient and kind. The ambiance was also nice, but the inside is relatively small, so it may be a little loud in there.

Great food, service and a nice cool little place to eat you lunch any day. Keep up the great service. The plates are very well served I mean very well served. I sat next to the expo area so I was able to see every single plate coming out of the kitchen, every single one looked so good so if you are around the place and need some good Mexican lunch, this is a good place.

Absolutely phenomenal customer service and the food is out of this world! Cool little taco shop that is very welcoming. This place is a must try for anyone who enjoys authentic Mexican food. If I could give this place 100 stars I would!

First off, this place is not a 3. It's much closer to a solid 4+. Everything I've had here has been delicious. The only reason for my rating is the California burrito. On the menu, it's listed as a California burrito, but it isn't prepared the way it traditionally should be. A classic California burrito comes with carne asada, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and FRIES. Here, it's made with carne asada, cheese, breakfast-style sliced potatoes, and grilled onions and tomatoes. If it's not a California burrito, don't call it that.

This was my go to place in Mesa when I lived there! I was there at least once a week. The food is so good! I've tried so many items from breakfast to dinner to dessert. The service is always pretty quick and everyone is so nice! It's a small place, but it always seems to have some traffic. I highly recommend!!

Super delicious! I had the combo with 2 hard shell tacos and 2 cheese enchiladas. The tortilla was super crunchy and the enchiladas were so cheesy! The combo also came with a drink and I tried the pineapple agua fresca, which was nice and refreshing.

Triiiiiiiiiiipa tacos I've found some good tripa tacos in other establishments but nothing compares to this one. Cute place, not hidden but deep in Mesa. If you're up for a drive or in the area, grab a bite here, you won't regret it.

The food was delicious! I had a chille relleno plate and it was delicious. It was a huge serving with two chiles, rice, beans, and tortillas. The salsa on the chile reminded me of my childhood. We ordered a pineapple agua and horchata as well and the pineapple agua had chunks of pineapple. One of the women working there today went over to a customer and did a special handshake with him, it was really sweet to witness that they recognize their customers. I can't wait to go back.

The chili relleno plate was.... Well not that good. It was like eating cake with lots of eggs. The chili was nothing but a skinny slice with a tremendous amount of cheese. The service was fast and food came to you hot. The ambiance is casual. Family oriented.

A friend recommended this place because of my love for Mexican food, so I had to check it out. I loved the Mexican-themed decor and cozy ambiance. The service was excellent, and the staff was patient with me since it was my first visit. I ordered al pastor tacos, fries, and a carne asada burrito. I didn't realize the portions would be so generous--otherwise, I might have scaled back a bit. Oh well! No regrets. The food was phenomenal, and I will be back. Next time, I'm trying the tortas. Heads up: The parking lot is U-shaped. Don't make the mistake I did and enter the wrong way--you'll cause a gridlock!

When visiting family in Mesa from Los Angeles, Taquitos Jalisco is our favorite go-to place for fresh, excellent Mexican food. The staff is phenomenal and while having dinner on my Dad's 90th birthday, Ashley brought a piece of flan with a candle and everyone in the restaurant sang happy birthday to him. Great food made better by a great staff.

We stopped here for lunch for Cinco de Mayo. We had the rolled tacos which are like taquitos which were delicious! We also had a chicken and grilled steak taco which were both so flavorful and great portions for under $5. The restaurant was cute inside with a small salsa bar for everyone to help themselves for their food. The service was pretty quick and everyone was very friendly inside. There is also a drive thru available if you want to get it to go. Delicious!

I have eaten here about once a week for the last three years. The food is consistently fresh, well seasoned, and made with care. The Staff is always friendly and the building is well updated. I have tried just about everything on their menu and it is always delicious! Best Horchata in AZ IMO

Taquitos Jalisco is a MUST in Arizona! The vibe is unbeatable, warm, welcoming, and perfect for lunch. The open salsa bar is always a huge plus for me , and the portions are very generous with realistic prices. Fast service, great food, and an atmosphere that's inviting. Can't recommend it enough!

This has become a splurge meal. I've been coming to this spot with my family for more than 10 years when we don't want to cook and the price increase is ridiculous. 7 carne asada tacos, 2 fish tacos and 2 large aguas frescas came to $60. It's over $3/taco. The daily specials run at $16. Where is the special? I think we're now paying for all the upgrades that this place went thru with the renovations. To top it off, you can't even get actual green limes. Jalisco style doesn't use yellow lemons. That's not Jalisco. Enjoy on a splurge.

these tacos were exactly what I was craving. The flavors were so well-balanced, and the texture of the tortilla was perfect. It is the kind of meal that is simple yet completely satisfying.

Ordered online and picked up in drive thru. Was fast and hot, great breakfast burrito. Everything tasted fresh and was a huge burrito. A bit pricey- but definitely two meals worth.

The employees are friendly and super helpful. I wanted to test-try the menudo before purchasing and I was given a small sample. Needless to say, I was very pleased. The food was so good that we returned the next day for more! We really enjoyed it as the place was cozy and other customers very friendly as well. Great people, food and service!

My boyfriend and I came from NYC and stayed in AZ for a few days to get away. We were craving fish tacos and I came across this spot on yelp! I am a big fan of fish and shrimp tacos and this place did a FANTASTIC job at delivering such a tasty and satisfying dish. Even after eating the tacos and returning back home, we're still raging about how great it was. The service was friendly and the atmosphere really set the mood for some authentic, Mexican food. We will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu when we return to AZ.

I got a menudo delivered and I was disappointed in the quantity. I got about a cup of menudo and mostly broth. It didn't even fill up a normal sized kitchen bowl. And I paid fifteen dollars for it. I even had to pay extra for bread and they didn't give me extra limes like I specified, they gave me no Limes at all. How can you eat menudo without lime? While the taste was good, it didn't fill me up. I did buy some enchiladas on the side and that saved the meal, but fifteen dollars for menudo!? Not including the bread! I think I'm going to have to start making my own.

Been here twice now and I am impressed with the Huevos Rancheros and Cafe de Holla. These are my "Go-To" favs. Tortillas were on point too. My son had the Carne Asada fries and he said they might be better than one of our "Go-to" places in San Diego north county-Senor Panchos in San Marcos.

Restaurant baits & switches customer with over priced menu items then digs even deeper into your wallet for patronage. Not returning, can easily get better elsewhere, without being ripped off for walking in.

My love for this place has been constant for nearly a decade. It's always consistent and delicious. Service is great and the atmosphere is mellow. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone. It's worth the drive if you're not near.

I visited Taquitos Jalisco for late lunch on Sunday, 11/20/22. I decided to get the food at the drive-thru window. Food: I ordered the #17 - Three Red Cheese Enchiladas Combination plate. The entire meal tasted super delicious, especially the red sauce on the enchiladas. The portion size was huge and filling, too. Service: The employees were very nice. The food also came out quickly and was still piping hot after returning home. I recommend coming to Taquitos Jalisco for tasty Mexican food and quick, friendly service.

Great authentic Mexican food! Can't say enough how much the food is so darn good. Service has been great every visit and my friends and I can't get enough of their food and salsa!

The entire middle if the tamale is raw ! I got two and they were both not cooked all the way, the masa is completely raw.
