Soul Clearwater is my favorite Italian restaurant — my safe place with perfect flavors. There’s a special kind of magic here: the atmosphere instantly relaxes you, and the food always hits the soul. Their herbal tea with mint and lemon is unbelievably soothing — fresh, aromatic, and made as if by someone who knows exactly what your body needs. And the raspberry ice cream… the best I’ve ever tasted. Bright, refreshing, with that perfect little tang that makes you close your eyes and smile. If your soul is craving warmth, comfort, and refined taste — this place delivers every single time.

We were so happy to get a reservation time for NYE. The manager even allowed us to adjust our time as we were running late. Every single bit of food and drink was just the very best. We had a suated mushroom and herb dish with great crusty bread, (pictured below. We shared the Soul Salad and Mortadela Pinsa (their twist on delicious pizza).The service was perfect and very timely. We waited and wanted for nothing.

Such a beautiful restaurant! Me and my boyfriend were visiting FL, and this restaurant was highly recommended. Our server was so friendly and helpful. We got the calamari, red snapper, and branzino. Everything was delicious! It was my boyfriend’s first time eating branzino and he was unsure how to take out the bones, our server taught him how to take them out. Also, the drinks were good! We will return next time we’re in Clearwater!

Excellent food and service. We went to check this place out and we were pleasantly surprised at how great it was. The pasta was perfect, the sauce was one of the better sauces I have had in awhile. The bread was perfect and the salad was huge for $12. Very inviting and attentive staff, great explanations and presentation of the specials. Wish we had room for dessert! Well be back with friends indead.

I just wanted to send a quick note to say thank you for such a fantastic dinner. The pasta carbonara I had at your restaurant in Clearwater was absolutely delicious—rich, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with so much care. From the food to the welcoming atmosphere, the experience really stood out, and it’s one I’ll be thinking about (and craving!) for a while. Thank you to the chef and the entire team for such a memorable meal. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

It’s rare to find somewhere that is less of a restaurant and more of a family dinner. Soul is the epitome of its name. The warmth exemplified from the moment you want in and being greeted by everyone, who is somehow related, spills over into the food. Every dish is homemade from the trio of dips ’s (whipped ricotta with honey, muhammara and babaganoish) all vibrant, well balanced and paired with homemade pizza bread! We stopped in on Super Bowl Sunday, wanting a quieter place to watch the game and soul exceeded expectations in every way. It’s hard to find a place where the service, food, and atmosphere all operate at such a high level, but this restaurant manages it effortlessly. If you enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, this is one not to miss! Dining here feels less like going out and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. It’s rare to experience this kind of warmth and genuine care. Easily among the finest Mediterranean dining experiences I’ve had, and absolutely worth returning to.

Oof, this was on my list to try, and I was let down. I don't know if it was an off night, but the service was really lacking, and the food was okay. We sat outside with no reservations on a Friday, and the service was just awkward. I don't know if the guy wasn't used to serving or what, but it felt super rushed. We ordered the caprese, which was okay. It needed more than 1 piece of basil and salt. My husband got some type of red meat sauce pasta with linguine. His was definitely better than mine. I got the truffle mushroom linguine. My dish was decent but didn't blow me away. They don't make their pastas in-house, but they are handmade. I would try them again with a reservation and sit inside to see if the service would be different.

Checked this place out before a show at the Capitol Theatre. I was expecting something a little better based on previous reviews. I found the service to be subpar. Our waiter seemed to be very distracted with his other tables and the coffee machine and we had to ask to order, had to ask for desert menu, had to ask for a second glass of wine his shift mates tried to make up for him, but he was just terrible. Unfortunately this colors the rest of the review. The ceviche was some of the best I have ever had, the pasta was good but uninspired, the desert was first rate and the the wine choices were solid middle of the road options.

This is hands down the best dining experience I have ever had in the Clearwater & Dunedin area. The owners are passionate, knowledgeable, and flavor connoisseurs. With an intimate dining area, bar, and patio there is plenty of space while also still capturing the essence of exclusive dining. I started with the meatball appetizer- the perfect "Grandma's Meatballs" recipe - 3 giant, delicious meatballs. For my main I went with the Swordfish Loin, this will be the only place I ever order it from, here on out. The fish melted onto my fork. It was amazing. The natural flavor of the swordfish, coupled with the flavor of the lemon sauce & pickled onions was simply beautiful. The dish is oh so filling yet light, leaving room for their homemade gelato. I had the chocolate gelato - flavors vary since it is made in house - but WOW; It is truly Italian Gelato here in Florida!! This was my first experience at Soul Sicilian Fusion and I can't wait to comeback and try literally everything over my lifetime. Seriously. I'll be back with the in-laws, the girls & definitely with my partner for date night.

The outside dining was a treat. Music from the band Imperspective was playing. They play everything you can imagine. The food was amazing. We had the capresse and the black truffle flatbread. Both were delicious! They gave something to come to downtown Clearwater for. Would definitely come again.

We went to visit recently for my birthday and had high hopes. The restaurant itself is lovely with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There's art on the walls and the chairs are very comfortable. So far, so good. Our server was so sweet and was doing a fine job. A gentleman, who I can only assume is the owner, came over and chatted with us briefly and answered questions about wine and the menu. We were enjoying our night and were not in a rush to order our entire meal. We ordered the appetizer and a very nice wine. After a lot of discussion about what were were all getting, we decided on our mains. One pain point, the owner seemed genuinely frustrated it was taking us so long to order our mains. He came over repeatedly and also asked our server if we'd ordered yet. There were a good two hours before they closed still. What was the rush?! All of that was an irritation I would accept if the food was wonderful, and most of it was wonderful. To begin, the antipasti were fantastic! We got burrata and prosciutto and a prosciutto Pinza. A pizza-like dish made from a variety of grains. Absolutely delicious! If you go, definitely get one of those. We also ordered the carbonara and the Al fuoco. It comes with linguine, but we asked to sub rigatoni. They had absolutely no problem with that, which is nice. My disappointment? The pasta. As an Italian who has lived all over Italy, I've tried food from a multitude of locations. I enjoy an al dente pasta, but their pasta was not al dente, it was undercooked. If I go back, I will definitely ask for the pasta to be cooked a bit longer. We did order dessert and the owner graciously gave me his signature Limoncello tiramisù. They also make their own gelato. That also was delicious. I feel I should warn you, the most unsettling part of the trip was something the owner can do nothing about, the Scientology "police" posted on every corner of the downtown area. On every corner was one or two people in what can only be described as a mock uniform just standing there. What is up with that? What are they doing? I was also thrown by how dead the downtown area was for a Friday. There was barely anyone out at 8 pm. A similar area of Tampa or St. Pete would be jumping! In fact, we came from Safety Harbor, and couldn't get parking because so many people were out. Conversely, we found a spot very close to the restaurant in Clearwater just 20 minutes later. If you decide to try Soul Sicilian Fusion, and you should, be forewarned that the area is a ghost town.

Must try when in the Clearwater vicinity. The grilled octopus was fantastic. Great wine selection. Handmade pasta was excellent and the tiramisu was to die for. Natalya was very knowledgeable and provided perfect service. I came once early on in my trip to FL and returned later in the week because I was so impressed. Highly recommend!

The food was so enjoyable. I ordered the pumpkin raviolis and they were amazing. They have special you can try from a separate menu. The service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Just had one of the best meals of my life here. For an appetizer we had Grandma's meatballs - a delicious blend of beef and pork in fresh tasting pomodoro. Perfect meatballs, just bread-y enough. Then the star of the show - the Truffle Pinsa. Their pinsa is like the most delicious version of pizza I've ever tasted. It's a light crunchy dough that will have you eating every last piece of even the crust. The Truffle version had mozzarella, burrata, sausage and a black truffle sauce. My partner and I were practically exclaiming over each bite. We shared the panna cotta for dessert and it was a cold, creamy, rich texture with a delicate flavor. Perfect ending to the meal, along with very strong cappuccino. The vibe inside was nice; classy but comfortable. Service was perfect as well. Can't wait to return!

This may be the best restaurant in Clearwater. The location is charming and inviting. The pasta is authentic with such complex and amazing flavors. The service is wonderful and the wine is both excellent and very reasonably priced. The full service coffee bar is a nice way to end a meal. An authentic Italian dining experience that my wife and I can't wait to experience again!

Ended up coming here after an hour long wait for a reservation at a different restaurant and Soul Sicilian was more than happy to take us even though it was late. Absolutely nothing disappointed. Everything was so amazing, the food is the most authentic Italian you'll have in Clearwater, maybe even the whole coast! Staff is always so friendly and personable. We got to meet the owner, super friendly, delivered our food and made sure we were always taken care of. Was definitely supposed to end there that night when we were already very hungry and annoyed at the other place we were at. Couldn't recommend this more!!!

We tried this place on the recommendation of my neighbor who said & I quote, "Ate here tonight and loved it. Had the ravioli with truffle sauce and it tasted like I was in Italy. I think you 2 will love it!" We arrived 15 min early for our 6:30 reservation but found out we were actually late, as my reservation was for 6PM. I apologized for the tardiness. The host, who has a very strong Italian accent, was kind enough to seat us us at a table. Two of us had 2 different specials that were offered that evening. Both were fabulous! My husband had the lasagna ragu which was delicious. Pictures below of our appetizers, entrees & desserts. They do have a corkage fee of $25/bottle & also have wines by the glass & by the bottle for purchasing. The ambiance is very nice, as it's not a very big place inside so not too many people to make it loud in there. They have seating at their bar & they also have outside seating which is covered so you're not sitting in the sun. We sat inside. You must check out this little gem in downtown Clearwater on Cleveland St. We will definitely be back to try something different!

Linguine ragu and fire Linguine were both delicious! Had the Margherita pizza and tge garlic shrimp. All very good. Service was great. Great quaint atmosphere.

Sat outside. Careful in the weather after sun goes down, can get cold and you are forgotten about as sun goes down. Food pretty solid, lacking salt which is better then too much salt, but kind of a big miss being Italian spot. Octopus ceviche the oil was Italian correct and i all chalk up the texture of the octopus to being a ceviche, feel like should have sat in the mix a little longer. Burratta and prosciutto was good. Ordered the double cooked octopus as well and tasted like was only baked once. But what do i know. Wasn't as soft as i feel it should have been and idk what mashed potato's are doing on Italian menu even if it's "fusion" Swordfish was good and my linguine with truffle oil was pretty good, minus missing the salt to cut the oil, which salt was easy to add. Limoncello tiramisu was a nice spin, however after being told it was homemade it was served in some bs plastic bowl thing. I believe it was made there i just don't know why they would serve it in plastic. Cappuccino for desert, they don't offer Splenda here just a natural sugar, little odd but sure just ate a few thousand calories guess they sugar at the end doesn't matter. Worth checking out, not too much Italian in downtown clearwater.

Delicious food and a great ambience. I felt like I was transported to Sicily! I had the Caprese salad and Eggplant parmigiana and tiramisu for dessert. Incredible!

Ambiance is a little bare and strange. Says Sicilian but has some kind of trinkety non-Italian odd decor. Bread and oil and the start was good. The carbonara was great, but the rest of our meals were just decent to good. The tiramisu was good. The Sicilian wine was nice. The complimentary after dinner limoncello shots were a nice touch! Really a cool location.

It's such an amazing place. The ingredients are fresh and homemade. Great for a date night, girls night, my daughter enjoyed every bite! Great service, very attentive. The pasta was freshly made! This is our new favorite place when in Clearwater. I have never finished my dish until here. We ordered a few desserts, and we finished them as well. Delicious!

A simply amazing meal. Every ingredient artistically presented and each flavor complimented the whole. We started with the Prosciutto, Burrata (soft fresh Mozeralla filled with a mozzarella cream) & cherry tomatoes on a bed of arugula. Beautifully presented & delicious especially with a splash of tangy-sweet Balsamic. For my entree, I had the fresh linguine with pistachio pesto, cherry tomatoes and pink shrimp. It was sublime. Eriq Breland had the spicy crusted tuna and it was cooked perfectly. The crust on the tuna was so flavorful & crispy while still letting the incredibly fresh tuna steak shine. A few pieces of the house made crusty bread served as my dessert and to mop up the last of the pistachio pesto. As if that wasn't wonderful enough, our server Daniella and the rest of the team provided impeccable service with a smile. Cool ambience along with a gracious co-owner, who chatted with us while pouring wine with charm for the downtown Clearwater Sip & Stroll crowd. Molto Bene! Make a reservation and enjoy

I LOVE this restaurant! The host was very nice and I enjoyed speaking Italian with him. The waitstaff was also very nice. The restaurant itself was upscale, but not pretentious. You can tell the staff is very interested in making excellent food. The artwork, also very nice. (I have pretty simple tastes, forgive me for saying everything is nice. But it really was) The garlic shrimp appetizer was awesome. My wife had the sea bass - cooked to perfection btw- I had the linguine alla amatriciana, and as a dude of Italian descent, it may be sacrilegious, but it was just as good as my grandmother's. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone. I had such a good time and the food was awesome.

What a great find. Small, intimate, authentic. Food was fantastic, it really hard to find really good Italian food in Tampa. It s worth the trip. Staff totally accommodating and make you feel welcome. Will be back

The food was great as was the service! I had clams and pasta and the meatball appetizer. Yum! We also had a bottle of moscato that was fantastic. Just sweet enough and a bit sparkling. The desserts were yummy too! We had fresh gelato, cannoli and tiramisu.

The food was definitely tasty and well prepared. I went to dinner with a few friends and we tried out a few stuff here and there. I got the classic tuna steak which was cooked the way I want it. Try out lasagna and carbonara and I will eat there again. Appreciated very much the caprese salad and absolutely the Tiramisu! As good as my Nonna's!There was an Italian waitress taking care of us which was very friendly and present when needed. He was also funny and entertaining. The restaurant at the time of my dinner was around 80 percent full but wasn't too noisy or uncomfortable as ambience.

I've been in America since a while and I can finally say, as a real Italian, this is the right place to eat! The food was so great and authentic and people were just so welcoming and friendly. So glad I've found out of this place on vacation and please visit them because they really deserve recognition.

This cozy reasturant has left the best impressions !!! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes , beatiful presentation , wide wine list and wonderful dessert...I reccomend to everyone , they made us feel welcomed and gave us amazing exerience.

Not authentic Italian, not even American Italian. Had the pasta alla vongole and I had better at Olive Garden Wife had the special braised beef ravioli and al dente was boot what it came out ass. The ravioli was hard like it was sitting for a week. Had the meatballs in sauce and they were underwhelming. No flavor just bland. Had to add salt and pepper to try and give it flavor. The desert limoncello tiramisu was so soggy it was unbeatable. Highly don't recommend.

This restaurant has it all. Service, atmosphere, pricing and DELICIOUS FOOD. So glad we got off the beach and looked for a restaurant in downtown Clearwater. You have to get her. Make a reservation and ENJOY.

Food was great! We had the prosciutto flat bread! Great to share! We also had the lasagna, amazing! Reminded us from when we went to Italy. They also had a really nice selection of Italian white and red wines. The only down fall was the carbonara it was too salty.

I have no idea what I just ate. Based on the reviews my hopes were set high only to be disappointed. I brought my husband here for valentines day thinking I would make our first valentines as a married couple special but instead I walked away feeling sad. The servers and hostess were polite and nice but for starters, the menu was a limited menu of sorts, secondly all our food came out at the same time, appetizer, entres etc., and third our food had no flavor or seasoning, our lambchops were cold and chewy. The seabass have texture due to crust and almond shavings but no spice or seasoning to add flavor. The linguine ragu was not bad but not mind blowing. The other thing that surprises me is that bread and oil was not served prior to our meal as most high end restaurants or Italian restaurants (in US and Italy) do. In short, I was disappointed, especially considering the prices.

Absolutely wonderful family run business. Staff and owners go out of there way to make your evening memorable. Food is delicious. Chef is from Catania Sicily and knows his craft well. Can't wait to go back.

If you're looking for having seafood or steak, do not come here. Their pinzas are delicious, haven't tried the pastas. My husband's swordfish was super fishy and the worst one he's ever had (he's a swordfish fan). My grouper was terribly bland, even with all the sauce all over it. My mother-in-law's medium rare steak was served cold and super rare. When she sent it back to be cooked more, she got the "message" from the kitchen that the steak was already medium rare, did she want it well done?!?!? I can confidently say it was not medium rare, it was almost raw. All the servers and the busser are super nice, professional, and accommodating. Nothing special about the atmosphere. I wish we had gone to Clear Sky on Cleveland. Next time!

This is a rare find. Located on the mall downtown in an inauspicious strip, this restaurant is fantastic. I fell in love with Branzino / Med Sea Bass in NY- and this chef knows how to prepare it perfectly. The staff is professional with a very European service. My husbands Osso Bucco Ragu was rich and lovely. The wine list features Sicilian wine- and the white I had was fantastic. All around first rate.

Cozy authentic sicilian food and wine experience right in downtown Clearwater. Great service, selection of sicilian specialities and wines. We will be regulars, it's going to be interesting to see how the restaurant evolves starting with the tiramisu that will make it's debut next week. Update: next week the pizza was excellent but the tiramisu was the highlight of the dinner. Moist, but not too moist. Not too sweet, just right. Even people who do not like tiramisu, should try it.

Delightful Italian place in downtown Clearwater. While they do have delicious pizza, we have had their seafood entrees and lasagna and they are amazing. It is an intimate place so we recommend reservations. There is outdoor dining but only beer and wine at this time. We highly recommend this place.

An exceptional find when so many restaurants have closed their doors... I've walked past this restaurant many times and finally dropped in for lunch. It was an excellent culinary find, one I will return to. I had an exceptional perfectly grilled Grouper with a lovely light tomato - capers - black olives sauce that I used the table bread (also exceptional) to finish up the plate. I give it that coveted 5th star for it's surprise (GOOD) factor and I will return for dinner (most likely a pasta dish of some sort and some grilled lamb chops) and a good bottle of red Italian wine.

Excellent experience! Loved this place. The service was impeccable. Very attentive and knowledgeable. The good was out of this world. Great wine menu. Nice atmosphere. Portions were a bit small. We loved it and will be back.

This restaurant was a wonderful surprise. We were downtown Clearwater hoping to find a decent place to eat. Having eaten in many fine restaurants this one now tops my list. The service from Jose was impeccable & delightful and the dishes we ordered were outstanding. Very well prepared & presented. We started with the mushroom ravioli. Amazing. For the main course I had the almond crusted sea bass and my husband had the Red Shrimps on potatoes cream. For dessert: their pana cato (forgive the spelling) and signature Tiramisu was perfect and even their house pinot grigio delicious. We will be back for sure. Loved the ambiance. I highly recommend.

Pretty good food especially for the area. However we got two small after dinner homemade limoncellos and they charged us for two full priced desserts. I felt completely ripped off.

Our first time here and we had a fantastic experience. Two of us dined outside 6ft away from any other diners. The waitress Suzana was very attentive. She brought out free appetizers first . It was a bruschetta and meatball with crema. Very delicious. The owners wife gave a great recommendation for a white Sicilian wine that was yummy. The food was amazing!!!! We had the truffle linguine and skirt steak. Cooked to perfection.

Sweet new restaurant in the heart of downtown Clearwater. This area is getting a nice revival with new restaurants opening every month. Soul is the latest to open and what a great addition. They had a soft opening and I was able to try out some of the items. First the ! I was blown away by the taste of the pizza. I tried to different slices and both were delicious. First was a white cheese sauce with cherry tomatoes. This had a nice taste with the white sauce not over taking the whole taste. Second I had a four cheese type, this one was a winner for me since it had blue cheese crumbles! I then tried his version of a Italian sandwich. This was three floors of delicious! I then finished with the tiramisu which I loved. I would recommend any yelper to visit soul.

Not good. See pic. Special Grouper Linguini was half box of Barilla pasta with a tablespoon of clam juice and two canned tomato cubes. So embarrassed to take my date there.

The food was absolutely awesome, but when we made the reservation and were told we can bring our own bottles of wine because we are not familiar with the restaurants offering, and there will be a corkage fee, we were fine with that. BUT when we are charged $25/ bottle corkage fee, to open a bottle of wine, never in my life have I ever had to pay $25/bottle to open a bottle of wine. If we were to buy a bottle of their wine and not enjoy, what happens then? The restaurant was not busy and I hope for any small business they are successful but with that ignorant charge I will never ever recommend to any of my freinds regardless of how good the food was nor will I return. Our friends who we were with and have eaten there a number of times but not brought their own wine before suggested the restaurant and they now feel exactly the same. Betrayed!!! It's unfortunate because the food quality was very good but this is ridiculous. I almost didn't want to tip our waitress because of this but it's on ownership not her.

Amazing food! This would definitely be a weekly stop for me if I lived in the area. I had the truffle mushroom ravioli and it was delicious.
