Kentro Greek Kitchen

I got the moussaka and it was delicious! My bro got the pork pita and the meat was very tender. Their French fries are great too. My mom got the avgolemono and it was good, but she is not used to it having carrots and celery in it. The tzatziki was pretty good, but tasted like there was feta in it maybe? Not bad, but not like the greek tzatziki I know. It was still good tho! The tiropitas are nothing like real tiropitas, so be aware. They have honey on them and its not that thin crispy philo dough the traditional ones have. Its an interesting dessert type take on them, but not my style lol. Still a great restaurant tho! Very kind staff. No menus, its all written on the board and you order at the front. All in all, its worth a try!

Excellent appetizers. The octopus and the calamari were better than our entree dishes, which were generally good. It was a little pricy but that's fine for the location in DTF. We didn't have any drinks. The place was very quiet on a Saturday night, good alternative to the busy places next door.

Kinda came here be accident. Actually yes, indeed it was accidental that we came here. You see we found a parking spot right in front and decided to forgo the walk to our original destination. This place did not disappoint. We had the octopus appetizer, which actually came out after our entrees but we’re not mad. The octopus 🐙 was SO tender! Tried a Greek beer, Mythos…light and refreshing on a hot afternoon. The lamb pita was delicious and I had horia tiki salad and added chicken. Overall we really enjoyed the food and service.

Food was unexpectedly good. Waitresses were very nice and caring. I wish they had pictures for their menu.

The Lamb here isn't the usual cheap gyro meat you see in many Greek restaurants. It was rich, and soft, and packed with flavor. We really enjoyed the tziki sauce, it was fresh and delish! My wife tried a lamb flat bread, and I tried the Lamb sandwich. Both were amazing dishes, and the fries were super crispy and flavorful. We ended the meal with some nice double cappuccinos ! The layout is nice, it was a bit hot in there, but I run hot so many may have not noticed it. All and all a very pleasant experience!

I was NOT expecting the amazing food that I was served today! The ingredientes were fresh, every flavor complementing each other. The flavor is more like fine dining with a laid back environment. I highly recomend this resurant!

Very nice restaurant, professional staff and great tasting food. We had a group of five and everyone enjoyed their food. Had Lamb Chops with Roasted Lemon Potatoes. Portions are not huge which is actually appreciated. Be ready to order and pay at entrance (including tips).

Although the food was great, waiter service was fine, and the atmosphere was fitting for the cuisine, they made us wait an hour for two dessert baklavas to come out. This was particularly odd considering everything else came out in a timely and orderly fashion. It really made me even more furious when I realized I already paid the tip and that I had other business to do that day. (For context we arrive at 12:00pm and left at 2 pm and we are fast eaters) I understand that this may have been a one time thing, but if someone ever asks me for food recommendations, Kentro will not be getting my recommendation again.

Got the Chicken and Lamb Pita and both were delicious, though I wish we had sauce on the side for extra flavor. The fries were amazing, cooked to perfection, and the seasoning was so good! The service was good overall. There were quite a few people and they seemed a bit understaffed, but our food still came out pretty fast. You order at the front, grab a table, and they bring the food to you. The ambiance inside is clean and chill, a good place to grab a meal with friends or coworkers.

Amazing Greek food! I saw all the amazing reviews on Yelp and I had to give this place a go! I ordered my food to-go since I was in a time crunch. That could have impacted the quality of the food a bit. I get that not eating it fresh/ right away could change the experience somewhat. However, my food was still great. The veggie pita wrap was fantastic!!! It was so fresh and hearty. I loved all the veggies and hummus. The pita bread was so fresh! The French fries were piping hot and had a nice flavor. Service was great! They were quick with making my food too. Ambiance was quiet and I was the only one in the restaurant. This is a great spot for Mediterranean food!!

I was perusing yelp to find ideas for a date in the fullerton area and I stumbled upon this place. We went during lunch and I would say that this is a great place to have a 2nd or 3rd date as it's relatively quiet despite being in like the heart of downtown fullerton and the interior is immaculately clean and modern. I myself got the lamb flat bread with the kentro fries. Now for context, I was somewhat under the weather the day we went so take it with a grain of salt, but I would say that the flat bread was pretty decent for the price. My recollection was that the pickled red onions were definitely present in the flat bread. Almost to the point where it was fighting for control of my taste buds. Once you order at the cashier and seat yourself, they'll get you your order relatively fast; however, it might be because we went during non rush time but I think they can be more mindful of the needs and wants of the customers as they were generally behind the counter until some of us had to be more vocal to get their attention Parking wise, downtown fullerton is surprising convenient, it's next to the metro station so there's plenty of parking in the plaza behind it, public parking lots as well as relatively easy street parking too if you know where to look.

PARKING (4/5): Parking is usually free during the day, just check the signs. A big lot, but does get busy during peak hours. FOOD (5/5): I absolutely love this place! Their food is on point and healthy in my opinion. I've tried almost everything here and I'll always come back. One of favorites in downtown Fullerton! AMBIANCE (4/5): It's a fast casual restaurant. You order at the cashier and then find a table and they'll bring your food to you. SERVICE (3/5): It's usually pretty empty when I come here, they are quick to bring out the food, but I've noticed once they do they don't check on you at all. You have to go up to the front/register to ask for anything you may need.

Really delicious food and nice easy way to order at the front of the restaurant. The food was good. I love the lemon soup! Highly recommend!

Kentro is located in the heart of downtown Fullerton on the southeast corner of Harbor and Commonwealth. There is plenty of parking in the lots behind the restaurants on this corner. The entrance is on the rear parking lot side of the building. The restaurant has a nice modern feel. Seating is mostly tables but there are also a few half booths. There is a black granite-topped bar with stacked stone below, which gives the space a classy look. Upon entering, there is a food menu on the wall. Proceed to the register to place your order. There is also a drink menu on the wall behind the register. They give you a number to place on your table and your order will be brought out when it is ready. I ordered the lamb pita and it arrived at my table pretty quickly. The pita was very soft and pillowy. There was a good amount of lamb inside, and the vegetables were extremely fresh. The feta cheese stood out and highlighted an excellent pita. It came with a huge serving of their fries which were thin and crispy with a great seasoning. I hadn't dined here in years, but after this meal, I'll definitely return sooner next time.

3.5 stars. I've been craving Greek food for a while and I'm glad that we stopped by here. Kentro has a lot of options for lamb and I went with their lamb pita. It was juicy and flavorful. For appetizers, I went with their saganaki and calamari. The calamari was served in a marinara sauce and goes well with bread, but we had to order the bread separately. The saganaki (fried cheese) was nutty and savory, but I would have loved to have it warm and melty and I would have liked to have had it with bread (which I had to order separately). Their fries were thin, crispy, and buttery and they had a nice rich flavor. I also had a roasted corn dish that was buttery and cheesy with some nice char. Overall, we had a few dishes that had some nice flavors; however, service was limited, appetizers were okay, and I'd recommend that you proactively order extra bread if you buy appetizers and/or spreads.

THIS PLACE IS A MUST TRY. Out of all of the Mediterranean places I've been to, this place is by far the best one I've ever tried. I absolutely love so much of their food. Some of my favorites include the manouri bread, the baklava frozen yogurt, and the mousaka. I thought their eggplant dip was a little bitter, but it was still good. The ambiance is also super beautiful inside and perfect for a date or even for a group celebration.

Thoroughly impressed with the service and food at Kentro Greek Kitchen. Had my first dine-in experience and couldn't be more satisfied with the meal. I tried out their lamb burger with a three chromo salad for my side. Blown away with the perfection, fell in love, already desiring another. The quality is second to none, pure perfection in the flavor. The salad was honestly a unique choice but a perfect side to go along with the burger.. The staff handling the counter and bringing out the food were perfect. Friendly, knowledgeable of their menu, solid recommendations for this rookie.. Plenty of indoor seating, very clean restaurant. The owners of Kentro Greek should feel like heroes with what they provide society.

Wow I can't believe, I had never been here until now. We just over ordered and did not regret our choices one bit! Amazing ! Order a plate for the table. We went with the octopus and loved it so much. He ordered the lamb burger and I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki... just amazing . We wrapped it up with a Frozen Yogurt and a Baklava Ice cream sandwhich. We can't wait to come back. Also shout out to the staff they were so helpful and so kind. I will be telling all my friends and clients!

This place was very disappointing. I went for lunch given the good reviews and I ordered a salad with chicken which they told me had to be the entree salad (more expensive but larger). What I got was the smallest salad with a bunch of pita bread for filler and maybe one strip of chicken shredded to make it look bigger. There was also so much dressing at the bottom that the whole salad was soaked and soggy. Super disappointing

We stumbled upon this place by chance and wow was it great! The host greeted us so nicely, you just order at the register and choose where you want to sit. They have a huge menu selection but we tried the octopus and the Spanakorizo. They were so so flavorful! The octopus was so soft not chewy or hard at all! The rice had great lemon flavor. The food was delicious. Wish there was more of it!! It is a bit pricier I would say but so worth it! Will try the desserts next time !

Everything was very fresh. My beet salad, soup and even the bread was so delicious. The portions were generous, and the ambiance was causal but clean and quiet which made it easy to make conversation.

I'm a suckered for Greek food so this place was a must! we were recommending to get the pita gyros so my friend and I got the chicken and the lamb. both had great unique flavors and were really filling. it came with a side of seasoned fries and we decoured everything. it's set up to be a nice sit down restaurant but you actually order from the counter and seat yourself. they offer water when you order and check up on you occasionally. it's a littttle pricey for the size of the pita but it's still a very good and sizeable portion overall.

Review for takeout. When I walked inside, the interior was so cute and beautifully decorated. I wish I had dined in! But I got their house Greek salad, which was well dressed and had lots of onion, tomato and cucumbers. No protein included but Very refreshing! It came with complimentary bread which was lovely to dip into the salad dressing. I also got zucchini fries which were sliced thin, crispy, and well seasoned! Overall very happy with quality of food. The two items (salad and zucchini fries) came out to $27 dollars, so I feel it is on the pricier side though. Parking can be tough as well as the lot is usually full.

Food looks and tastes incredibly upscale, while having a casual walk-in restaurant atmosphere. It is, of course, delicious. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Prices are pretty low, considering the quality that you will be receiving. If you don't know anything about greek dish names, then the menu might be a bit confusing, but the staff will help you out, if you ask. We got the calamari, which was made way different, but still equally addictive. The chicken skewers and rice was beautifully plated and yummy. I'm personally in love with their frozen yogurt dessert that comes with pieces of baklava in it. They make the yogurt in house. However, we still got a piece of baklava on its own. Its my mom's favorite. They serve it warm and don't drench it in honey, so its not too sweet. It reminds me of pie or something else incredibly delicious. Definitely coming again.

I came here bcuz of all the positive reviews. I arrived and the service and kindness was very good. Even as I was waiting for my sandwich, the servers were very kind and wanting to make sure if I needed anything and I was comfortable. That's the customer service "I Love" and wish was more available these days. I was a bit taken back by the price for a Gyro sandwich - over $18.00. Even though I "Did Not" want to pay that price, I went for it especially since I've been looking for over 2 months for a good to great Gyro. To my dimise, I was very disappointed ! First of all the lamb meat was shredded and very flavorless. The tzatziki was almost flavorless as well. I tasted more yogurt than anything. Lastly, they put pickled onions on their sandwich. Who does that? Again, in my valuable opinion, this is an abomination of a Gyro. Here's some backround info on me; I have a good foundation for Gyros being born and raised in Chicago and I visit 2-3 per year. Gyros are a staple to Chicago along with pizza, hot dogs and beef sandwiches Therefore, for many who read this review and have been to Chicago or lived there or still do; you as a customer at this restaurant will definitely agree. By me saying this, I caution you to remember the very high price before you even think of trying / comparing this so called Gyro. Fyi, the price you pay here is equal to 2 Gyros with "A Lot" of lamb meat, non-pickled onions, tomato and very good tasting tzatziki in Chicago. As a matter of fact, Paul's Place here in CA is a good Gyro. It's not great but it is good. I even think Arby's is better than this place, not to mention they are 1/2 the price. As to the other foods they offer, I don't have an opinion. With that being said, I am a bit concerned about the pricing. Call me a sucker for punishment but I may return for a better flavor. And that is Because of the Wonderful Customer Service and Kindness For those of you have read my reviews in the past, I am all about customer service. It is my driving point to enjoying even a not so good food experience.

We came here to fulfill our cravings for Greek food and this place really hit the spot. It was our first time, but the two ladies working there made our experience easier to navigate through the menu and what was bomb. We ordered the Lamb Gyro, the beet salad, zucchini chips, and the vegetarian flat bread. Everything tasted good. For appetizers, i recommend getting the zucchini chips. It's crispy and addicting. I really like the dill seasoning they have on it. They are known for their lamb here, so I had to try the gyro. The sauce and the cheese was sooo good. The portion size was reasonable. I got freaking full. The restaurant is located in Downtown Fullerton. It was kinda difficult to find parking. The place is clean and nice though. You would first just walk in and order at the register before getting a table. I will come back soon to try their desserts and lamb chop!

I ordered the chicken pita, and it was too SAUCE-Y for my liking. If you order the PITA WRAPS, make sure to ask for less sauce. They are known for their fries, so the fries are always good! I didn't like my order but their other main entrees look like they are worth a try -- like their souvlakis! If I were to come again, I would try that (recommended by the worker) The ambiance is quiet and seating selection is to your choice.

Food: The Chicken Pita was fresh and well-balanced. The sauce complimented the vibrant greens well, but it's definitely more on the tangy side. The chicken was shredded but not dry. They gave a very generous amount of fries as well. They had a nice seasoning, but were a bit on the salty side. Ambiance: It was quiet when we initially arrived a lil after opening time, but the place quickly filled up by the time we left. There are a lot of seats in the restaurant and it had a nice interior as well. Service: You walk up to the cashier to order first before taking a seat. The waiters were very nice and checked up on us a few times during our meal. They even offered to-go boxes when they saw we had leftovers! Parking: There are only a handful of spots directly in front of the restaurant, and some are 30-minute only spots, but there is a bigger parking lot a few steps out that is free in the day!

Hands down the best dinning experience thus far! We were pleasantly greeted and helped by Claudia and staff as we asked questions regarding the extensive menu. Claudia's suggestions hit the spot. She is very knowledgeable and has great taste when suggesting which items to try. We tried the Manouri Flat Pita Bread, Chicken Souvlaki, Lamb Chops, Kids Chicken Skewer and for dessert Baklava Crumble Frozen Yogurt. Everything was delicious! There's soothing Greek music playing in the background of this comfort chic establishment with a cute sit down bar and warm lighting. We will definitely come back for the great food and excellent service!

Had lunch there today. Ordered a salad and asked for walnut vinaigrette versus the feta dressing and the chef said they couldn't do that! The feta dressing on the side looked like a dip rather than a creamy dressing. My friend ordered the pita wrap which was as hard and the meat not tender. Terrible lunch!

food was a 10/10! the flavors were amazinggg and not lacking in anyway at all. i haven't had greek food this amazing in a while!! Service was very friendly and fast in my opinion. The cashier was very sweet, and she gave me suggestions since it was my first time. Only way i think they could improve is by table touching which they didnt do at all. This has been one of the longest standing restaurants in Downtown Fullerton, and for a good reason-- consistently amazing specialty greek food. I've been here a few times years back in highschool, and recently brought my boyfriend to experience their food. Food: I got the charbroiled seabass, and he got the lamb burger. Both were PACKED with flavors and textures that complemented each other and we both scraped our plates clean. He ordered his burger medium, which is what one of the servers recommended, and it was perfect. The bun was so soft and fresh, and the pickled onions gave the burger a little bit of a spice kick which paired really well with everything else. The house fries are also to die for, they're tossed in zataar seasoning, cheese and butter and I would recommend even ordering a side on its own! The seabass has a perfect sear, and had lots of beautiful color throughout the entire plate. Service: Our server, Paulette was super fun, attentive, and kind. She had a really good understanding of the menu which ultimately helped us decide what we wanted. There was another younger Asian guy who was great as well but we didn't get his name. Ambiance: Super cute and cozy date/brunch spot. It honestly wasn't busy when we came in around 3pm, there were only three other tables but they were all of different ages and backgrounds so I'm sure everyone would love this spot! They have a small bar with import beer, decent wine selection, and chill music.

Came to eat here on a Monday night around 7:30PM and easily found parking and got seated quickly. Kentro is an establishment where you order your food before sitting down. The restaurant is very clean and nice with music playing softly in the background. There were a few people working in the kitchen and one woman working the main dining area, taking orders and serving food, doing a great job. We had a quiet and intimate dinner here and everything was delicious! Before this visit I had only tried the pitas, but I was so happy I branched out and tried new items that day. We ordered the Calamari, a side of fries, Psari Tiganito, Kalamakia, and the frozen Greek yogurt with baklava. I especially enjoyed the Calamari - everything about it was so delicious. This meal made me really happy, I highly recommend visiting!

The food is okay. The good thing about this place is that you pay upfront and don't have to wait around for the staff to get help; they just bring the food out, and you can leave when you're done eating. The bad thing is if you want to order more food or dessert and you forgot to order it up front; that can be a hassle. Generally, it's nice and quiet as there usually aren't that many customers there.

Kentro Greek Kitchen 100 S Harbor Blvd, Ste A, Fullerton, CA 92832 7/10 Overall: I loved the ambiance of the place, and their service was great! Their food was yummy but a bit on the expensive side. The portions were small and not super fulfilling. I love Greek food but if I were to come again it would be for the ambiance, not rlly the food. Paithakia $24: 4/5 the lamb chops were a bit small but super flavorful and cooked perfectly medium. The lemon oil it was cooked in was a favorite for us. Their fries were super crispy and the tzatziki was creamy and delish. Mousaka $18: 3/5 this was a veggie type lasagna with layers of cheese, zucchini, tomatoes, and lasagna sheets. It was really delicious but was also quite small in my opinion. It came with yummy bread which was good for dipping. Loukaniko $14: 3/5 this was a flatbread topped with sausage, feta, tomatoes, capers, and shiitake mushrooms. The feta was a bit overpowering, even for someone who loves feta. The tomatoes were seasoned and marinated perfectly, we loved them. This place is SOOOOO good. Highly recommend this place. Service is great. Vibe here is clean and spacious. The food here is made to order and it's full of flavor!! We got the sausage flatbread and the pork skewer entree. Both of these dishes were so good and full of flavor. It was made to order. Portion sizes are generous so it's great to share. They do let you know the entree takes about 15 mins or so since it's made fresh but its worth it. Highly recommend and will be coming back to try entire menu.

Oh my gosh, I am so happy that I decided to come here for lunch. The food is so good and the service is impeccable. I'm so happy that I met Paulette, she really truly changed my life and was great at recommending different items on the menu! The ambience is such a vibe.

We came to celebrate my grandson's birthday at his request. He really enjoys Mediterranean cuisine. The food is excellent and our whole clan enjoyed our dining experience immensely. Our party of nine ordered different items, we took bites of each and each were unanimously declared delicious. The fries were of particular excellence but it is hard to single out one item when all were worthy. Ordering is easy at the counter and staff were cordial and very helpful. This is a comfortable and contemporary space. We will certainly come back.

Well, that was a delicious lunch! I had chicken skewers and my friend had Seabass for lunch and we decided to split the lunches so we could both try everything. We also had the calamari in tomato sauce appetizer, which was great! Nice sized portions that are worth the price and the drive.

This place wants to be fine dining but they wanted to save on labor so there still a front counter. The food? Tastes good. The decor? Could almost call it a young-adult date night. Not formal enough to be extra, not doner-shop casual, a semi-cute place to get past the small-talk. The prices? Ouch. Paying that much for a zankou-tier gyro is harsh. Lamb was tasty but once again, ouch.

It's been awhile since I've been there. But, it has never disappointed and it survived the pandemic. Food is fantastic and their garlic fries are to die for.

Stop thinking about what to eat and come to Kentro! It will be one of the best decisions you've made in months, who knows maybe even years but I'm not judging! I honestly come here at least twice a week, and sometimes 3 times (no shame). It's conveniently located near the train station I take everyday to come to work. The people and service here are amazing to say the least. Huge shout out to Paulette for always giving me suggestions as to what to order. She has opened my eyes to other foods with her friendly persuasion . Big shout out also to Yech, Maria and Ari for always being the amazing humans that you are. I stick to the Spatiki Salad which has an incredible blend and balance of the hummus with the Chicken and salad ingredients. So good and then the Pita bread it comes with takes it to a mind implosion level. It's the quality of the ingredients that really hits home. Anything you get here is gonna knock you off your shoes, or sandals . The place is big and has a very friendly ambiance, they never disappoint and hence the reason I eat that for more than half of the days of the week. Went here on a Friday night and it was fairly busy. It has a good laid back vibe. OK about the food Calamari 2/10: part of it was my fault for assuming it was gunna be fried. It's not fried, and the menu doesn't say it isn't fried. The calamari was BARELY cooked, it was almost see through, and you can still see the purple dots on the skin so it's almost raw. It was very chewy. Maybe authentic Greek calamari is supposed to be served this way? Idk but I didn't like it Pork skewers 4/10: good burnt char on the outside and good seasoning some pieces had some extremely tough and chewy fat that I had to spit out because it was like bubblegum. Sides: everything was lukewarm. I wished the food was a lot hotter.

Awesome fries! Must try! A perfect combination of potato, cheese, salt, and herb. We came to this restaurant after a long hike at the Fullerton Loop. I was reminiscing my backpack days in Greece, which prompted Greek food for lunch. The four of us each ordered an entree: char-broiled fish, vegetarian flatbread, lamb sandwiches, and chicken pita. We were pleasantly surprised by the awesome fries. The vegetarian flatbread reminded me of a thin crust pizza, flavorful with slight crunchiness; a safe choice if you're not sure what to order. My friend also ordered a soup that came with two pieces of sourdough bread, which was disappointing because it was such a small bowl of soup! The rest of the dishes are ok. For desserts, we tried the Greek yogurt and the baklava. The yogurt was creamy nutty, with refreshing tartness. The baklava was unremarkable. I like the purple glass wine bottle they use to serve water, which is a nice touch. All orders are collected at the cashier, the waiter only brings the food to you. Very nice indoor decor with olive trees and wall arts.

First time here at Kentro. I ordered the Avgolemono soup at the suggestion of Paulette. Oh so good. Very filling. Perfect blend of chicken, rice and lemon. I also ordered the chicken pita. Nice tender chunks of chicken breast, marinated tomatoes and cucumber with a mountain of their Kentro French fries. Everything's so tasty. We will be back soon. Kentro is the most amazing Greek restaurant in Fullerton! The food is amazing we have so many favorite dishes. The price point is also so amazing, great atmosphere, fun vibe and the customer service is world class. Be sure to look for Paulette (Mgr) she will take great of you! Amazing food! You have to try their fries and wild rice when getting sides - delicious. I got the chicken skewers and my husband got the lamb pita - delicious as well. The ambiance is clean and classic. We were tended to well as the service was wonderful. We will be coming back.
