Eclipse Pizza Company makes a great pizza! We had 3 different pizzas and they were all great, especially the one with artichokes. The service is very good, they brought everything out to you. The best part about Eclipse is the beautiful out side patio. Lots of table, chairs, trees, planters, a wonderful ambiance. This restaurant is definitely a keeper!

Ordered the gluten free pizza. They have both normal gluten free (+$4) crust or cauliflower (+$6) in size small only (10 in pizza). Pizza is thin crust and extremely delicious! I loved sitting outside in the courtyard and the service was exceptional.

Fantastic local pizza!! Loads of unique specialties, great canned beer selection, cool atmosphere. Service was excellent, even when the restaurant was clearly very busy. Vegan and GF options are also available

The pizzas were delicious! We even had a delicious gluten-free pizza. I could drink the ranch dressing, and they freely give as much as your heart desires. The service was awesome! Everyone was super friendly!

Such good service and the pizza is 10/10. Lots of options to choose from but also have traditional pizzas. I love their apple goat cheese salad and PepTalk. The patio is so nice to hang out during warm weather and kid friendly ☺️

Really great find on my first visit to Reno-Tahoe area. It’s tucked away in the corner with other restaurants nearby, but well worth tracking it down. Can get busy at times, but that should tell you something too . . . it’s certainly worth the wait. I had the IronMan pizza (medium), having not eaten all day after traveling from the east coast. Wrapped a few slices to take back to my hotel. Cool place, great indoor or outdoor seating, and the owner Dave was nice, chatting and hustling to keep things all moving along. I’ll go back again tonight for sure. [Update: One week later, this pizza with pesto and pineapple was even better. Soooo good, but forgot what they call it. THIS PLACE IS GREAT!]

The place is cute and the employees have a great vibe. I started with half a dozen wings and they were just right. Then I tried the second listed specialty Pizza: the barbecue chicken pizza. The barbecue sauce that caramelizes on the edges along with the cilantro really put this pizza over the top. I'm not in love with the crust but it gets the job done. Last, Jimbo from The Simpsons works here while a Homer Simpson artwork looks on from above the cash register. I wonder what Dolph and Kearney are up to.

Some of the best pizza I’ve had in Reno! The crust was cooked perfectly, the toppings were fresh and the service was phenomenal! If you have time to eat there, do so. They have the perfect patio seating and reasonably priced wine and beer.

This place was great! I called ahead (Stephen was very kind and helpful, thanks Stephen!) and asked about vegan options- the red sauce and regular pizza crust are vegan. They also offer vegan cheese as a sub for mozzarella. Lots of veggie options too! I got the veggie pizza with the vegan cheese and it was yummy (the crust was great!). We also got the Greek Salad without feta, and that was good too- needed a touch more dressing, tho. My non vegan hubby got the Mighty Meaty calzone and he enjoyed that too. We went for an early dinner, so by the time it got to normal dinner time (6 pm), seating was limited and they were busy (just an FYI). Great patio for families and dogs. We'll be back!

Where to start. I have been searching for a decent pizza here in Reno for the last two years, trying almost every pizza establishment from Carson City, to Lake Tahoe and everywhere between. So when I heard from a friend I just had to try Eclipse Pizza I was raring to go. I ordered a large cheese, a large two-topping, and a calzone. When I went in to pick them up, the restaurant was so small, I had to go outside to change my mind. Number one, I'm not a fan of thin-crust pizza, and especially not a fan of cracker crust. So when I opened the box and looked at how thin the dough was, I was already having my doubts. However, the calzone looked pretty decent, size-wise, and the crust was not too shabby. I brought it home to the hungry family, and the taste wasn't bad, but everyone had a problem with the crust. To thin, no rise in the dough, and no air bubbles from the dough cooking. We all had a taste of the veggie calzone, and that was a big hit. The taste was good, the dough, although thin, didn't seem to be like their pizza dough, or at least didn't appear that way, in regard to the ultra-thin cracker crust. So Eclipse, sorry but the best I can do is a TWO-STAR rating, and the only reason why it wasn't a one-star was because of the Calzone. Better luck next time, well maybe not next time.

I recently learned that they offer cauliflower and gluten free crusts in addition to their regular crust. Had the Grecian with cauliflower crust. Wish the crust got crisper but just glad they offer it. It was very good and the salad was fresh, crisp and delicious. My husband loved his combo pizza. We ordered to go since the indoor seating area is small and it was raining but on a nice day the patio is enjoyable.

11/26/2025 tried for first time. Large eclipse combo. Got a thin crust, not greasy, good undercarriage. Ranch was a little watery but thickened up once put in the fridge. I loved the way it tasted the next day cold. Pretty good and would try a

I ordered a cauliflower crust margarita. I usually get a really good pizza but this time the pizza was cold and the crust was burnt on the bottom. The cost was 17 dollars for a small pizza. Not very tasty. Not sure when I'll get another from this pizza place.

Eclipse is just down the street and I love going to local places. It's more of a to go experience but definitely a great beer and wine menu. We ordered a medium pepperoni and a medium combo. We didn't wait too long and the pizzas were hot. Once we were home, the pizzas were ok. I love thin crust but the cheese and toppings were bland. The combo was definitely not my favorite. Probably won't try there again.

Finally getting around to reviewing this place after many years of loving it. To be honest you would think there's not much that pizza spots can do that set them apart, but yet Eclipse is highly different than all of the rest. They have a wonderful selection of pizzas. Between their regular menu, secret menu, and build your own, you literally can't go wrong. They have a fantastic array of toppings to choose from- I fancy most of them. My favorite lately is the mascött pizza- sundried tomato, red bell pepper, artichoke hearts and more. I'm usually not much of a salad person, but their apple goat cheese salad is incredible. It is a must every time I come here. Their pizza is heavy on the toppings just like I prefer, and I don't feel awful and full of grease afterwards like most pizza places. One of the main downsides is that the wait times here can get pretty long, especially during common hours. It's a popular spot. There is also limited seating, so we almost always take it to go. Best pizza place in Reno.

I'm genuinely surprised by all the positive reviews because my experience was the complete opposite. The pizza had almost no flavor, and the crust was easily the worst part, dry, bland, and reminiscent of low-quality gas station or skating rink pizza. It's honestly impressive how something as simple as pizza can be done so poorly. I really wanted to like this place, but it missed the mark in every way.

Great neighborhood pizza restaurant! They have a good menu selection, with a nice variety of specialty pizzas. For this visit, we ordered a large pepperoni and a dozen wings for takeout, which took about 45 minutes on a Saturday evening. The pizza was good, with a nice thin crust. The wings could be a little crispier, but they had good flavor overall. The service was great, and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant itself is tiny. There are three tables on the bottom floor and a few on the second floor. However, they have a great outdoor patio with plenty of seating. The overall cost was good, not too expensive. Would recommend it you are in the neighborhood.

We ordered takeout from Eclipse and it satisfied our pizza and wings craving! My husband and I couldn't decide on a pizza flavor, so we ended up getting two different kinds. We got a small Mascott (chicken, artichoke hearts, spinach) and medium Eclipse Combination (pepperoni, sausage, mushroom). I couldn't find anywhere online what the different sizes are like or how many people they feed. I'd say the small can feed 1-2 people and a medium can feed 2-3 people. The small plus medium pizza was enough for both of us with a few leftover slices! I liked the Combination pizza better because I prefer those toppings. There was a good amount of cheese and toppings, crust is thin but not too crispy, and slices are on the smaller side. Both pizzas were good but nothing super special in our opinion. We got an order of buffalo wings as well, they were a nice addition to the pizza and had plenty of buffalo sauce on them. I wish they were a little bit more breaded though. I've had some amazing wings in town, so these weren't my favorite but still tasted good. Be sure to get sides of ranch! We got a lot of food for under $50 and were satisfied with everything we had. Glad we tried out another local business in NW Remo!

We come here often because it is so close but it's also so good! I really love their Apple and goat cheese salad, sometimes I get it even when I'm not ordering pizza. For pizza, we've tried different pies and liked them all but my favorite is the barbecue chicken, which is wild to me because I never order it anywhere else but always return to it here.

This was my first time here. My fiancè has been before years ago. We both got a small pie. We love the porch we're this is located outside. Great Vibe. I would describe this as "homestyle pizza". Everyone was friendly, and the ranch was complementary! Worth a try if if you are in the mood and close. They use whole wheat dough which seems to make it a little thicker which I don't mind.

A delicious pizza place on the north west side of Reno. Order downstairs and main dining room is upstairs. Or if it's a nice day there is an outside area to sit and eat. Pizza is always delicious. Love the whole wheat crust and their salads! Service is always great.

One of my favorite places in town to get pizza. I especially love that they happen to be in my northwest neighborhood. I also love their thin crust. It's topping to crust ratio is just right. I am a big sundried tomato fan so I of course appreciate that on their combination. The ranch here is awesome!! Not that sour hidden valley stuff but made fresh in house ranch, it's the good good. I would have posted pics but we ate it all;)

Most importantly, the service was outstanding! We appreciated being asked how we were doing and offering a patio heater. Of course, the food was excellent. We have been going to Eclipse for many years and will continue to go there because of the great service/hospitality! Thank you Eclipse!

Over 2 hours for a pepperoni pizza - ridiculous!! The pizza was ice cold and just meh

The ambiance is pretty nice if you can sit outside. They share the same outdoor seating with Walden's too or at least many people were using that area. People can bring their dogs outside too which is nice and it is a nice area. The inside is quite small but they have a decent selection of drinks in their fridges too: including a good amount of bottled/canned beer and a few beers on tap. The pizza selection was decent. We got a half and half of the downieville and the tour (no subsided tomato sub jalapeños). They were interesting combinations and were good but I think it's the crust that isn't our favorite otherwise it would've been a 4 star. It ultimately ended up being a little underwhelming but honestly might be due to the crust.

I love coming here! The staff are always so welcoming and polite. They're a small business, and they make me feel like one of the family. I enjoy the lunch specials. For the price I think it's the best deal in town. I like to sit out on the court yard ands people watch, lol. Everyone's so nice that comes through there. The pizza is some of the best I've experienced out west in a long time. 10/10.

Eclipse Pizza has been a tried, true, and steady presence ever since we moved into the neighborhood nearly 10 years ago. I have been here so many times over the years I have lost count, so I am surprised at myself for not writing a review before. Although we like many types here, a favorite pizza for our family has been The Tour: pesto sauce, mozzarella, goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted garlic, and fresh basil. Super yummy and atypical! But we were hosting my sister-in-law for a couple days last week during the snowstorm and she wanted to treat us so we suggested that she pick out which pizza to get. She decided on the Grecian: tomato sauce, feta, roasted red bell peppers, kalamata olives, and roasted olives. She and I decided to each have a glass of Pinot Grigio while we waited for the pizza to take home. The hardworking owner (seriously, he is always there!) asked us if we were done with our wine and ready for the pizza to be boxed up. We told him, "sure!" We were surprised when he came over with our large pizza box with another small one on top. Then he shared that they accidentally dropped one of the slices of our pizza on the floor so they made us another small one to make up for it! I felt the owner went above and beyond, and we truly appreciated it. When we took my sister-in-law to the airport the next morning, she was able to bring some of those extra slices with her for her trip! I know Eclipse has another new fan in her!

Since my first review, I have been to Eclipse a few more times. Every time, the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and the salads, pizza and wings are SOLID. You cannot beat the lunch special for $10. Beer on tap, soda fountain and lots of bottled and canned options available in refrigerated selection. Because of space restraints, the patio is the best choice in warmer months but let's not forget about these folks in the winter months -- the food is definitely worth taking out!

Recently had Eclipse pizza for an event and it was great! Everyone enjoyed and they had the order ready to go for pick-up. Highly recommend!

Really creative and awesome pizza. I've only done takeout but their Margarita and Mustache Ride pizzas were excellent. Great crust, good sauce and toppings.

Ok so the wife wanted cauliflower pizza crust. So I looked up places and found this gem. The staff is super friendly. It's super small inside but have plenty of outdoor space to sit. Planking lot little small as well. They have draft beer and the food was super good. If your looking for a good pizza place highly recommend this place! Cheers

Service is great and the Pizza is yummy! A hidden little gem on Mayberry and the atmosphere is laid back and a good place to share when friends come to visit!!

Lots of delicious options. We got Mascott and The Fig. Mascott was loaded big chunks of artichoke, chicken, pine nuts and sun dried tomatoes. Everything goes really well together and the thin crust holds up really well to all of the toppings. The fig was perfectly savory and sweet. Not at all a dessert pizza but it had a really nice jammy sweetness from the fig. It paired really well with the goat cheese, prosciutto and arugula. The roasted garlic was perfect and never too overpowering. The chicken wings were crunchy and saucy and a great price. $8 for 6 wings. There's a large selection of draft and canned beers, wine, soda's and flavored waters.

Just tried Eclipse Pizza this past weekend and it was such a great find! Typical Reno style that people love and they had very quick and great service. I got the buffalo chicken pizza and Apple goat cheese salad which was delicious and even came with a little piece of pesto bread. Plus they even have the most relaxing outdoor patio that gives the best ambiance in the summer. Can't wait to go back!

I met a friend for a quick bite on a Friday night. I ordered the barbecue chicken on a gluten-free crust. The ingredients of the pizza were delicious, but I was really disappointed in the gluten-free crust. While the pizza was still warm, it was ok. But when it began to cool off, the crust got quite hard and almost cracker-like. I was disappointed because the recommendation was that the gluten-free crust was better than the cauliflower or zucchini. I don't think I will try it again. It has been a difficult task to try to find good gluten-free pizza.

Love the pizza here. Many varieties to select from. I've tried most and never been disappointed. And they have the best ranch dressing, creamy and flavorful. Got the combo today and it was hot and yummy. I like their thin crunchy crust. There are always plenty of satisfying toppings and cheese, too. I also ordered one of their apple, goat cheese salads. Unfortunately someone does not know the difference between goat cheese and Gorgonzola. Ruined my salad as I'm not a Gorgonzola fan. I hated to toss it out, but I cannot handle any blue cheese flavors. Sorry Eclipse, only 3 Stars tonite for paying for an inedible, wasted salad.

We loved this little pizza spot. The inside is full of random collection of things to look at, like pez dispensers and artwork from locations. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. We really enjoyed that everything really did taste fresh. We got the Greek salad, and it had lots of veggies on it. A pepperoni pizza and some wings. All were good. If we come back to reno, we would totally come back.

this was my boyfriend's & i's first time here and we loved it! we ordered the sweet asian wings and they were amazing. the flavor was a sweet chili sauce and the wings were crunchy and tender. we got a large pep talk and it was so good! i liked the thin crust, as well as the garlic and oregano on top. ranch was fire too. service was quick and attentive, and we enjoyed the outside seating. definitely going to be back!

This is one of our frequent pizza places when we are in Northwest Reno. It is located at McCarran and Mayberry and is known for having great pizzas and in my opinion even better salads. They offered both indoor and outdoor seating with a smaller indoor upstairs availability. It is an older style structure and has a casual comfortable feel to it. Parking is limited due to the size of the strip mall and location so we primarily utilize their take out option. They offer both an online and phone in order system, which is convenient if you want to pick something up when they first open.

Very nice people and a great pizza. The pizza didn't have a ton of cheese and the taste was very close to Italian pizza.

This is the best pizza place in all of Sparks and Reno I highly recommend their takeout. Pizzas are always hot and always delicious.

We ordered 2 pizzas from here, the barbecue chicken and a pesto/sun dried tomato (can't remember the name). They were both very good. Nice thin crust and plenty of toppings

This is a small place, you order at the counter and pay, they give you a number and a server delivers your order. We went on a Thursday night to try it out. Ticket time was good, beers came first, then salad in 7 minutes and our two pizzas arrived hot from the oven in 20 minutes. My thin crust pizza was tasty, tender crust but crispy not soggy at all. Loved the red sauce and mozzarella cheese was fresh. Hubby ordered a gluten free pizza. Crust was not that good, but I didn't deduct any stars because, well, pizza is all about the chewy gluten dough. Gluten free pizza is an oxymoron to me. They had 5 or so beers on tap. There is about 3 tables downstairs and 5 or so tables upstairs. There's a good sized dog friendly patio outside.

food - solid overall. pizzas were cooked properly, not too dry, not too hard, not stale fig jam pizza - someone before mentioned it was too sweet but I rlly liked it! not a fan of goat cheese but if u pick it off u can barely taste it. prolly my favorite one islander pizza - good if u like pesto bc it's v strong. I liked the macadamia nuts in it too but other than that pretty normal not too unique bbq chicken pizza - alwyas a classic pizza flavor and can't go wrong. pretty light and not too sweet so u won't get sick if it after 2 bites chicken wings - we got the thai flavor and bbq flavor, it's exactly what u expect. chicken was cooked well not dry. flavor is just bbq sauce or like sweet and sour sauce. not bad but prolly wouldn't get again apple goat cheese salad - personally I like sweet salads so I liked the apple, cranberry, and glazed walnuts. greens were fresh service/ambiance - mostly outdoor patio seating and u get ur own paper plates/forks/napkins/water etc.

This local pizza spot had some of the tastiest topping pizza creations. I ordered the bbq chicken and moustache ride pizzas. I enjoyed that both pizzas weren't so thick but had some thinner Crispy texture to them. The bbq chicken had a good bbq sauce and the chicken was tender. It's probably the best bbq pizza I've tried. The pesto sauce on the moustache ride had me wanting more! This pizza felt like a margarita style pizza. The Prices are reasonable and less than other pizza spots around town. The staff had great customer service! I will be trying some different pizzas next time I come here. Can't wait!

I love this restaurant!!!! The pizza is delicious and tastes really good. The staff were so kind and very friendly to all especially the kids. The restaurant was really beautiful and had a nice and calm atmosphere. There were toys and it was really kid friendly. I love this place and recommended to anyone who has kids, likes pizza and loves people . Also the manager works there is so kind and kid friendly. Great pizza and nice staff. I've come by a couple of times over the last month and enjoyed the service and pizza. I haven't eatter here for a few years and am happy it's back on my radar.

We found this place on Yelp and we were NOT disappointed. The gentleman who took our order was the most friendliest person I've come across...even his staff. We ordered a Pizza with 2 salads. The food I amazing, I love the pizza...just the perfect & best pizza I've had in a long time. Definitely coming back.

My husband was craving pizza and neither one of us we're up for the options really close to our house so we decided to give Eclipse another go. It's really good pizza. Fresh ingredients. Lots of topping options. Fun concoctions. The gluten free and cauliflower crust options are still too pricey imo. We ordered two small pizzas: the JAM and the total eclipse. Both were delicious and full of flavor. For us, the small is just enough to share or can be split into two meals. It's great because you're not spending a ton of money and eating pizza for days and days. We also ordered a dozen buffalo wings. They were yummy but I do wish they offered blue cheese instead of ranch. Pizzas and wings were ready in 30 minutes. The staff was incredibly friendly when I arrived and even signed me up for the loyalty program, which gets you $5 off your purchase after 5 visits.
