This place was nothing short of perfection! On the drive there we were a little skeptical but I’m glad we went. The atmosphere was amazing, service was amazing, and the food was absolutely AMAZING! The sauces were all so delicious it was hard to choose just one and we even paid extra for a few specialty sauces because they were so delicious as well! 5 out of 5 stars! Can’t wait to go back!

Stopped here on a whim as we were passing through town and it was certainly worth the detour. Our server, Kristine, is a gem! She is knowledge about the menu and gave great recommendations. The food is delicious! The smothered fries were incredible with perfectly melted cheese sauce and a generous pile of meat atop fries that would shine on their own. Two of us could have walked away satisfied with just that as our meal. Round two was a combo plate with tri-tip and pulled chicken, which allowed us to get into the fantastic assortment of bbq sauces. The carmash potatoes were a real hit, too. Nothing disappointing about this dining experience except we couldn’t stay long enough for the live music. We’ll be back next time we make it to St. Louis.

Google
Best barbecue I’ve ever had, we will be coming back to try more! Beef rib was perfect, best smoked chicken. It feels home cooked and the sides finally taste fresh compared to other bbq spots around the city. 12/10

Stopped in on our road trip for lunch. We chose this place because we try to go places Guy Fieri has been to. The food was phenomenal. Server was very pleasant. Had to try every flavor of sauce.

Google
This place was great! It has inside and outside seating in a laid back atmosphere. The smothered fries were amazing and came out super quick! Awesome cheese sauce. We tried the tri-tip, jalapeño cheddar sausage, smoked meatloaf, and pulled chicken. Our favorites were the tri-tip and sausage. The loaded smoked potato salad and Brussels sprouts were tasty! They have a drink menu that includes alcohol and cannabis beverages. They also have a variety of barbecue sauces to try. There was no wait on a Friday evening with great service. Check them out!

Google
Possibly the best barbecue in the city. Definitely the best pulled pork I’ve ever had, jalapeno cheddar sausage too. And tri tip at a barbecue joint? Genius. Also their barbecue sauces are incredible. Can’t say enough good things about the place. Looking forward to the next visit!

Google
I had the wings as an app and then the two meat plate with Mac and cheese. The wings were great as is and super crispy. The two meat plate had pulled chicken and the cheddar jalapeño sausage. The chicken was incredible and extremely tender. The sausage had a nice flavor and was not spicy. The Mac and cheese was creamy and had a good flavor as well.

A great alternative with regional food. Loved their barbecue sauces. Generous portions. Very tasty and well prepared

Yelp
Get ready to set your taste buds to "stunned" because The Shaved Duck in St. Louis, MO, is a culinary treasure that deserves a standing ovation. This isn't just a meal; it's a flavor festival that'll have you marking your calendar for your next visit before you've even left! Step into The Shaved Duck and the aroma hits you first--smoky, sweet, and promising something extraordinary. The ambiance follows suit, with a cozy vibe that's equal parts rustic and welcoming. It's the perfect setting for what can only be described as a BBQ symphony. Let's talk about the stars of the show: the meats. Oh, the meats! They're smoked to tender perfection, each bite is a juicy, melt-in-your-mouth delight that seems to whisper sweet nothings to your palate. The standout? Their smoked duck, which could very well be the secret love child of culinary genius and smoky magic. Pair it with their must-try sides like smoky cornbread or sweet potato fries, and you've got yourself a meal that'll have you swooning. But it's not just about the duck. The ribs? They slide off the bone as if they've been waiting all their lives for you to arrive. And the pulled pork? It's like the chef hooked the pork up to a joy-infusion machine and cranked it to eleven. And don't even get me started on the desserts--their gooey butter cake is so sinfully delicious, it could make a saint question their morals. So, what are you waiting for? Grab your friends, family, or just your fabulous self and head to The Shaved Duck. Whether it's a casual dinner, a special occasion, or you're just in desperate need of some darn good duck, this spot is the place to be. Book a table now, because this kind of deliciousness waits for no one. Five stars? Absolutely, and deservedly so!

Yelp
I'd been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally got around to going. For BBQ we love brisket and if you love brisket too- come check it out. We got the brisket sandwich and burnt ends sandwich (pictured). My partner gave their burnt ends sandwich a 4.5. I quote " It was good. I would've preferred a different sauce. But it was really good overall." I say overall the food was good and no complaints regarding the service!

Yelp
We are so glad the shaved duck is open again. Get the corn bread appetizer. You won't regret it. Our waitress was quick to address any questions. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I'd grade this 4 star review as incomplete since they didn't have their liquor license yet. It's coming and I'll adjust the review when that happens. I'll keep going back for the pulled pork and the tri tip.

Yelp
Came here to have late dinner yesterday. Came to St. Louis to try their BBQ. I order wings, roasted duck breast, 3 meats combo (pulled pork's, brisket and roasted chicken) add ribs, brussel sprout, Mac and cheese and corn bread. The sauces they have were sooooo good, right amount of spice and sweetness. The server was very friendly and helpful. The interior design of this restaurant was very nice make you feel like home. Highly recommend. Street parking.
google avatar

Matthew K.

Yelp
The sauces are amazing here, well worth going JUST for them. If you like duck, this is a place for you. I had the duck breast and it was great. The cornbread is delicious. Really worth it. The ambience was lovely - there was a small stage so I presume they sometimes have musicians there. The server was polite and attentive. Great people all round. They weren't serving alcohol when we went as I think they were waiting for a license.
google avatar

Devon B.

Yelp
Holy cow, or should I say pig! We love the pulled pork from here - seriously, some of the absolute best I have ever had (and I have had a lot of pulled pork from a lot of delicious places). Further, the sides are great! To make the experience of dining or taking out from here even sweeter: the staff are AWESOME. They are so helpful and nice. Finally, we were pleasantly surprised by the cute interior and that there was live music on a night we were here recently. If you have not been here and you like pulled pork, you better add it to your list.

Yelp
Yay! They are back open! New configuration is nice with a more spacious entry/bar area. Takes a little of the coziness away but it was pretty tight before. Right now no bar service, awaiting a new liqour license. Our server, Charlotte, was hustling but was efficient and attentive and kept up with everyone nicely. We ordered our favorite, the loaded fries, as an appetizer. They were popular as many orders passed by our table. They were great! Crispy fries, cheese sauce, not skimpy on the pork and rib meat. I opted for the two meat combo (chicken and tri-tip) for my entree with Mac and cheese as a side. Chicken was tender and moist, great with their Black Isle BBQ sauce. The Mac and cheese was cheesy! Extra breadcrumbs are the best! The tri-tip was ok, I'd probably choose something different next time. All the entrees come with a small ramekin of slaw, I had forgotten about this till it came with my meal. I remember it being a fresh night to brighten the plate, this was not that. The smothered fries are cravable and this is the only Mac and cheese I eat, ever. Glad they are open again and will be back in my rotation.

Yelp
Our waitress was very nice and helpful as it was our first time there. We got one of the off menu specials of the half pound of burnt ends appetizer. They were the highlight of the meal. I got the meatloaf since it's not a typical bbq place item and I was intrigued. Boo got a 2 meat plate of tri tip and pulled chicken with a side of Mac n cheese. The tri tip was good but salty. My meatloaf was decent; the meatloaf at Fraziers is better. The sauces were decent but we'd like something spicier. Their spicy one was hardly spicy.
google avatar

Sherry P.

Yelp
Everything here was just okay. Nothing outstanding that makes me want to return. The duck confit was good as was the duck chili. Their menu is not the same as online because they said they switched owners. The burnt ends were good but the brisket burger was very dry. The pulled pork was meh. The Mac and cheese very very bland. Again, edible and okay but not that great.

Yelp
Just had lunch at The Shaved Duck in St Louis. First time I've ever had duck. OMG deliciousness!! I had smothered fries and the duck breast that was on DDD. Very good choices. Will definitely visit here again!
google avatar

Leslie B.

Yelp
Nice little stop! Mac and cheese needs to happen! It was the best! Pulled chicken and the brisket burger was the top picks. Everyone loved the cornbread! They are working on the beverage situation so don't expect a nice cold brew with dinner just yet. Overall, nice stop!

Yelp
The food was really good, but the overall experience wasn't the best as far as I'm concerned. My understanding is that they've been closed for around a year due to flooding in the building. In my opinion, they reopened too soon. Someplace online, it says they're still temporarily closed. That should be corrected. Because of that, I tried calling to verify, but got an immediate busy signal. For 2 days! So, I showed up real early in case my large group would need to change plans. I was told that their phone hadn't been ported over yet. Should have been. I believe they only had one waitress and she was overwhelmed. Have they hired enough staff? The didn't have a liquor license yet. Well.... I would have preferred a more complete experience. Thank goodness the food was really good!

Yelp
I've only eaten here a couple times, but I've always enjoyed myself. Usually get the duck nachos, and it's to die for. I could honestly sit here all day. The atmosphere in this place is so relaxed. You were never rushed out, and they probably would let you stay there forever. Really good group of people working there.

Yelp
Epic! We came all the way from California to experience this little gem and it lived up to our expectations. Flavors were off the charts. Duck appetizer was amazing and pulled pork for the win! Loved the habanero sauce
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
The Shaved Duck may have reopened, but unfortunately the food did not live up to my memories. Brunt ends was mostly fatty ends and uncooked not really burnt. Service was good and the remodel is nice. Just wasn't really impressed with the food. Best of luck to the Shaved Duck. I don't plan to return.
google avatar

MaryAnn B.

Yelp
This restaurant in the Carondelet area is experiencing a soft opening after closing and remodeling due to water damage. No bar service as yet, but in the works. Still worth going for the food. Wings, burnt ends as appetizers or entrees, salads, nice and interesting sides like roasted brussel sprouts all with roasted / bbq fixing. Service a little slow but amiable and accommodating. Won't be disappointed in this place for an upscale casual dining out.

Yelp
We found this place last minute on a trip. The smoke trip-tip is amazing. Everything was really delicious and we ordered a mix of everything to try as much as we could. Top notch barbecue!
google avatar

Yelp
The quintessential St Lou BBQ. Great BBQ and the addition of duck is the real kicker here. Love the craft brew selection, along with the setting. Service has always been friendly and on point too. Shot out to the crew!
google avatar

Angie S.

Yelp
The Shaved Duck is hit or miss for me honestly. Sometimes it's incredible and sometimes it's not great and service isn't great. There are better BBQ places in St. Louis.
google avatar

Harold C.

Yelp
Great BBQ. I live in the neighborhood and have been here many times. The Mac & Cheese is really good. I also suggest the loaded fries.
google avatar

Yelp
Great tasting food and service. The redecorated restaurant and configured space offers a soft ambiance.

Yelp
My wife and I were on a long weekend to St. Louis. We took a drive to the Budweiser factory tour, which was awesome, and my wife knows I love BBQ. We entered The Shaved Duck and sat at the bar. The bartender was super cool and I ordered the pilsner and a double meat plate with pulled pork and tri-tip and a house salad. It was all super good! The salad, I used as a dessert and tri-tip is more of a Santa Barbara thing in California, but they nailed it. The pork was in the top 3 of the 5 I tried in St. Louis this weekend. Great atmosphere and we saw a guy walking a sheep in the neighborhood on a leash, so that was a first in my 47 years of life. Highly recommended place. Maybe a few more IPAs on tap would be cool.
google avatar

Arkadiusz S.

Yelp
Super cool neighborhood restaurant with a full bar option. Decided to give these guys a try simply because of its name. The barbecue menu is great for anyone who like to eat. As always I have decided to order way too much so I had a chance to try burned ends, ribs, pulled pork and tri-tip with fries and coleslaw. All delicious especially since I have paired it with an old fashioned from the bar.
google avatar

RM L.

Yelp
Local. That lives down the Street. Literally can walk to Shave Duck. Good BBQ. Service is good. Good atmosphere.
google avatar

Sam S.

Yelp
Best duck chili this side of the river! Not the least bit greasy! Believe it or not, they also had the best ribs I've ever had in St. Louis, and I was a long-time Pappy's patron for ribs before this!!!
google avatar

Pash W.

Yelp
The food here is really delicious! I got the Side House Salad combination plate with turkey, Smoked Meatloaf and brisket. I ordered a second salad because it was so good. Simple yet delicious. Very plentiful and filling. Anyway, Our server, however, was quite unfriendly, and seemed occupied during our time. We asked for recommendations and he said something to the tune of "just get what you want." Ummmmmm ok thanks??????? We would literally say "excuse me" 2 to 3 times to attempt to get his attention and he would act like he couldn't hear us! The restaurant is literally not even a large place so I don't know if he was purposely ignoring us or what. I'm not going to mention his name because I'm in a good mood & maybe he was having a bad day. But if I come back and get the same subpar service, I'm dropping the dime on errrrbody. I'm definitely coming back for the food.
google avatar

Dan A.

Yelp
So glad the Duck is back! A true St. Louis gem that gives KC BBQ a run for its money. Big fan of the tri-tip, burnt ends, smoked meatloaf, and the smothered fries that were featured on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives. You just can't find BBQ this good in St. Louis anywhere else.
google avatar

Stephanie H.

Yelp
Everything was delicious from the drinks on. We ordered the smothered fries at the recommendation of the waiter. He was right. They were fantastic. I ordered the off menu special and it was very juicy. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!
google avatar

Lindsay P.

Yelp
We sat outside on the picnic tables before going to a comedy show downtown... the wait staff was a little short handed but over all it was a good experience, except that our food took longer than expected. Would like to try to sit inside.
google avatar

Fanghua L.

Yelp
I came here for burger week and only got the burger with a side and a drink but I did think they offered some other interesting options on the menu for non-burger week goers. I'd probably want to try the duck fried rice if I come here again. Anyways as far as burger week goes, the event doesn't seem to be well organized as most of the time the restaurant staff I've talked to have little to no idea what I'm talking about, so these events need to be better planned. The burger here was pretty good, though if it's the same one they usually offer for $16 I would not say it's worth the money. The fries I ordered as a side (the burger week special was burger only) was really unimpressive. Overall 3.5 stars.

Yelp
This was an AMAZING restaurant. First off I want to mention that I don't eat red meat, so BBQ can be difficult sometimes, but this place had a wide variety of foods, more than just red meat and I appreciated that. When we got there we originally asked to be sat outside, but after 5 minutes with the sun in our eyes we changed our minds and they accommodated us immediately. They brought us inside and even closed the blinds so the sun wouldn't be in our eyes. Our server was very nice about moving us. We ordered A TON of food. As an appetizer I got the Duck Confit which was amazing. The duck was tender and cooked perfectly. It came in a sweeter glaze that added a nice flavor, and salad to balance it all out. For my main meal I got a pound of Smoked Crispy Chicken Wings which you can get a dry rub with sauce on the side or you can get it tossed with a sauce of your choosing. I got it with the dry rub and the honey-ginger sauce on the side. The honey-ginger sauce was lighter than I would have liked for wings, but it was unique and still delicious. I coated half of them in the honey-ginger sauce and the other half in one of the two sauces they had on the table: a sweet sauce (my favorite) and a smoky sauce). This made the wings heavier and more "wing-like". I got Brussel Sprouts as a side which was special for that day. They were roasted and coated in a sweet honey glaze that made them really good and crispy. As a table we also ordered the Pulled Pork Nachos which were HUGE. They were heavy and filled pork and toppings, just like you want in nachos. They were absolutely delicious and were eaten as leftovers for days to come. We ordered the Hickory Smoked Tri-tip Sandwich which was just a sandwich with steak in it. It was a little dry, but we soaked it in the sauces that were on the table (which I believe is what they want you to do) and it was really good. We got this with a side of Black Beans that were very delicious and Baby Back Ribs which were a little pricey, but they were arguably the best thing on the menu. Some of the best ribs any of have had in a long time. The whole vibe of the place was very cool. It's a restaurant, but it also has a bar in it. It's somewhat small, but there was no wait. The food was a little pricier, but in my opinion worth it, especially for the size. Overall, it was a really nice place. The food was wonderful, the service was wonderful, I had a really great time there and would definitely recommend it to others and come back again myself.

Yelp
What a disappointment. I've been to the Shaved Duck several times pre-pandemic, and I get that everyone's making compromises. But I don't think this place is trying very hard. Staff wore masks and were serious about keeping folks distanced, so that made me feel safe. They also seldom got within six feet of us, so disease transmission wasn't really an issue. I went for a very, very long time with both my cocktail glass and water glass empty, while I watched our waiter talk with the (only) other table of patrons in the room. He wasn't serving them, just chatting. The menu is shorter than pre-pandemic - I get it. All duck items are gone, though - what's this place called again? And the drink menu is way shorter - no more pages of whiskeys and Scotch, just one page with a few of each. And a note that says "rocks or neat + $.50", which I guess means they charge fifty cents more if it's on the rocks or neat instead of... what? The food is boring and the servings are small. For starters we tried the bacon appetizer: three strips of bacon, rather crisp, allegedly topped with brown sugar, walnuts, and Brie (or maybe it was another cheese - can't recall.) There were no discernible walnuts, and the sugar was in huge chunks - much too sickly sweet. A pick-two plate was two small scoops of meat (I had tri-tip and pork) that was dry and bland. Only two sauces were on the table; one was very cinnamony and one was spicy-dark red. My side was a baked potato, and it seemed to have been baked for a few days. There was nary a tender bite inside; it was dry to the core. My mate's side was a small ramekin of pale, sad mac & cheese. In all, not impressed. Not excited about returning.
google avatar

Jocelyn T.

Yelp
The staff is very friendly and quick to tell you what their favorite menu items are. They've got a nice selection of local beers. We shared... I should say we destroyed in possibly record time the smothered fries. The cheese sauce is really something special, lots of flavor that goes really well with the smoked meats. We both went with pain sandwiches so we could try all the bbq sauces. I'm not usually a big fan of Carolina bbq sauces, but I would have bought a gallon of theirs if they'd had one! The macaroni and cheese is not as flavorful as I wanted it to be. It could have benefitted from a little salt and pepper, or a little sharp cheddar in the cheese blend, or some crumbles of the incredible smoked bacon. Still good mac and cheese, just not as good as everything else on the menu!
google avatar

Pamela B.

Yelp
I get the shrimp and grits every other week for take out and love it. I was so disappointed this weekend. The portions were small and not enough sauce. I love this place but won't order again if this dismal portion happens again. Please be consistent in your portions Update. Called the restaurant and let them know and Katie (who is awesome) refunded my dinner and was apologetic. Will order again.
google avatar

Paul K.

Yelp
Shaved duck is a nice little spot for some good bbq in an intimate setting. I usually go with the tri tip sandwich, which is pretty good and has a generous portion of meat. The only thing that would upgrade from 4 to 5 star is the juiciness of the meat, which can be on the dryer side. Regardless of that, the meat is always tender and flavorful, and can add some bbq sauce to make for a great sandwich. Also tried the duck confit appetizer which was well liked, the duck was falling off the bone and very tender. Worth a try if in the area, service is always top notch as well!
google avatar

Aswathy K.

Yelp
You can't go wrong with the menu here but the duck confit is certainly my favorite! They also have excellent service here and the staff was so generous and gave my dog yummy treats!
google avatar

Ian B.

Yelp
$$ A pub stilled restaurant. The restaurant serves bbq but brings it up to a pub and restaurant notch with a good essence of goodbye just styled in a restaurant and played style. The brisket burger was juicy and the the Mac and cheese was creamy.
google avatar

Aaron C.

Yelp
That was by far the best meatloaf I've ever had! Really enjoyed the Brussels sprouts too. My wife and kids loved the pulled pork and I snuck some of theirs - it was great too. Very casual vibe and unassuming, and the food was excellent.

Yelp
Big E on the road again in route to 500 bbq shacks across America. Stopped in The Shaved Deck in St Louis and this was one of those gray diamonds that you find when you least expect it. Got the 3 meat combo plate ( pulled pork ,Meat Loaf, Tri-tip,added burnt ends and baby back ribs. Side was beans and they add a small slaw . If you have read any of my reviews you know I prefer a St Louis cut spare rib anytime I have Que but have to say out of 4 different ribs in saint louis area these baby backs were my favorite. Also my favorite sauce of about 15 sampled in a week. I would eat the Back Isle sauce out of the bottle and just wish they sold it to go by the bottle. The burnt end were quite good along with the pulled pork and quite enjoyed the smoked meatloaf. The sides were excellent..: the free addition of coleslaw was a perfect compliment to cleanse the pallet between the different meats. Service was good decor was fun and a quite enjoyable experience .. gotta to say in close to 200 bbq shacks definitely in my top 25 . Can't wait to return to the area again .. and for the vegans several options for the non meat eaters. Here is to the pursuit of gray Bbq and tell them Big E Bbq sent you!

Yelp
During home quarantine I am getting caught up on my Yelp reviews, so I wanted to clarify that my rating is based off of service BEFORE COVID-19. I found this place on Yelp and was very grateful that we took the time to catch an Uber to get to this restaurant. There was a short wait before we were able to get seated, but we came during what looked like rush hour. The time and effort that we put into trying out this restaurant was definitely worth it. All of our meals were delicious! I don't think anyone was able to leave with any leftovers because we all finished our dishes. That's surprising when you have a picky child traveling with you. Yum!
google avatar

Mancow M.

Yelp
Food is Ok. The vibe is all wrong however. Staff seems to really hate being there.Seething under the service. Does this fall upon the management? The CEO of Chick-fil-a once told me "if you want happy workers you HIRE them that way." What a truly unhappy lot of servers, hosts, and a bartender, this was. Sullen. Did I come here a bad day? Maybe. It WAS beautiful outside. Maybe they just all didn't want to work this day? The signs of "wokeness" are multiple and pronounced throughout. I personally can take a pass on politics when it comes to dining establishments. We all eat. I had visited here years ago and don't recall the militancy of the message (whatever it is) being so pronounced. However, that particular visit was at night. But what REALLY irked me? The place just didn't meet my cleanliness standards. Again, last time I went it was nighttime and at that time the unkemptness of the place wasn't as pronounced as it was not during the daytime on a sunny St.Louis afternoon. Love the name. Bless!
google avatar

Amy B.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere, the staff was friendly. Our primary wait staff person was either over-tabled or kind of flaky. Our service was adequate (& nice), but slow. I think that attributed to my dinner plate, Pick 2 Combination, being served late so at room temp. I enjoyed pulled pork & smoked meatloaf. Both were delicious in flavor, but I wished they'd come hot from the kitchen. Two sauces to choose from; we preferred the bold vs sweet. Try the smoked (baked?) potato, a nice twist on standard baked!
google avatar

Benjamin J.

Yelp
My experience eating at the Shaved Duck was overall very underwhelming and unfortunately just not a BBQ place I would come back to. I had the burn ends sandwich and the meat was definitely tough and seemed overcooked. The bun it was on was also dry. Overall portion size was also pretty small for a ~$20 meal. The only redeeming factor to the meal was the side of Mac and cheese which was really good!
google avatar

Gina W.

Yelp
Overall just okay - 3~3.5 /5. The place does not have AC and the enviornment was a bit too dark/confined. The smothered fries was good, and so does the cornbread madeline - Perhaps it can be a dessert for us! It was dissapointing that they do not have the duck confit- It's why we came for, and it's what this place named for, afterall. The brisket was juicy and delicious, but other meat including the burnt ends were a bit too dry. The price was a bit high as well.

Yelp
The duck confit and honey butter cornbread is really good, but almost all other food is just above average. They are good, by all means, but not worth the 5 star and high praise and the long wait. I don't know why, but it seems most of the duck dishes (e.g. smoked duck breast) disappeared from the menu. As a restaurant named after duck, it is kind of weird to see no more duck dishes than duck confit. Overall it is a good restaurant, the kind of good that you may go occasionally of you are just in the area and have nothing in mind, but not the kind you would recommend to your friends or visitors.

Yelp
Went to The Shaved Duck as apart of SLUSOM's Wellness Restaurant Appreciation Week. Love the vibe of the place, kind of a hole in the wall saloon. Would highly recommend the burnt tips and the mac n cheese.

Yelp
Ok, so I like this place. I'd give it a 4/10 based on their food, and their restaurant being too small and too loud. That said, I'm going to give them a 6/10 simply because their French fries cooked in duck fat are amazing. Go just for the fries. You're welcome.

Yelp
This place was amazing. I had the pulled pork sandwich with mashed potatoes, cornbread, and a cherry smash drink. Service was quick and attentive. The cornbread came out quickly as did the drinks. The cornbread was sweet but not too sweet. The cherry smash drink was so good I ordered a second one. The pulled pork sandwich came on a toasted bun. It is a large serving that I wasn't able to finish. The mashed potatoes with caramelized onions was so good I wanted to order another. I had a bite of my grand daughter's Mac and cheese, it was so cheesy and good I will order it next time. This is a tiny place with a great vibe and even better food. We came early to avoid a wait, but it is well worth any wait. I can't wait to go again.

Yelp
This came highly recommended from one of my friends. I ordered the duck confit and it was phenomenal! I ordered it as an appetizer and had to gracefully work my way into the point brisket burger! It's one of the most flavorful brisket sandwiches I have ever come across! Service is top notch and all Covid measure are observed. They also offer outdoor seating, but I reccomend eating inside for a better experience! So, if you're visiting St. Louis and want to try some delicious food, get yourself down to The Shaved Duck!!!

Yelp
I got the ribs and they were probably the best ribs I've ever had! They were so good! My husband got the burnt ins sandwich and I think maybe the bread killed the flavor but still so good!!! Would defiantly come back again! Lol pretty sure our waiter was high but he was chill Got a good amount of food too! Also, you really didn't even need sauce! That's how good it was' whoever made these ribs knows what they're doin!!!10/10 recommend!!!
