All Chianti Is My Kind of Chianti | Bon Appétit

"An old-school Italian-American restaurant in Ontario, California that evokes strong family nostalgia; the author remembers childhood dinners there and that her father washed dishes as a kid. The spot is tied to ritual drinking of Chianti and the warm, communal, slightly theatrical atmosphere of classic red-sauce dining." - ByMarissa A. Ross

Family-run since 1945, this Route 66-era institution is Ontario’s red-sauce time capsule—huge spaghetti dinners, meatballs, garlic bread, and a lively, intergenerational crowd. Featured by SFGATE for its enduring appeal and scale of pasta prowess.

This is my first time going to the original Vince’s. I grew up in Temecula and would go to the Temecula one a lot as a kid and a young adult but today I finally went to the original all the way from Tehachapi and it was worth the trip! The inside is so unique, cozy, and has a beautiful charm to it. The food is amazing as always and I always get full on the full order of spaghetti it really can fill you up but the price is unbeatable! $13.75 for a massive amount. I’ll definitely come back to this original location again very soon!

Obviously delish—this place is a staple when it comes to Italian food in the IE. Definitely a must-try if you haven’t been! The cheese on the salad is so good, and the ranch is fire. You can tell the sauces are homemade, and everything just tastes super fresh. I usually get the lasagna—it’s sooo good and super filling. Honestly, I can never finish my meal because I go for the soup and salad first and skip the garlic or cheese bread (my husband, of course, gets it all 😂). It is a must, that I get spumoni at any Italian restaurant that offers it. Always delicious, always hits the spot. Service is always excellent—we had a really sweet lady who kept our drinks full and checked on us often to make sure we were good. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, but I will say the inside could use a little TLC. It’s definitely a bit outdated and could use some visual updates, but that doesn’t take away from how good the food and service are.

Great family restaurant. Tons of food. If you are just wanting spaghetti this is your place. That is what they only truly serve as a specialty. Amazing garlic bread.

Vince's Spaghetti is an institution in Ontario and the Inland Empire, and with good reason. They serve many different Italian food options, their most famous being their spaghetti, of course. We've been coming here for years, and it's always a treat to enjoy great food at reasonable prices. Vince's gets a 5 out of 5 stars.

Vince’s Spaghetti Ontario is a delightful Italian restaurant that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for both casual dinners and family gatherings. Renowned for its authentic flavors and generous portions, Vince’s consistently delivers a satisfying dining experience. The spaghetti and meatballs at Vince’s are simply outstanding. The pasta is perfectly cooked to al dente, providing a nice bite that complements the tender, flavorful meatballs. The sauce is a highlight—rich, tangy, and seasoned just right, with a hint of herbs that elevate the dish. It’s a classic comfort food done exceptionally well, showcasing the restaurant's dedication to traditional Italian recipes. Their lasagna is another standout dish that keeps customers coming back. Layers of perfectly cooked pasta interlaced with savory meat sauce, creamy béchamel, and melted cheese create a hearty, flavorful masterpiece. The pasta layers are tender yet firm, and the balance of ingredients results in a rich, satisfying bite every time. The portion size is generous, making it a great choice for sharing or indulging in a hearty meal. Overall, Vince’s Spaghetti Ontario excels in delivering homestyle Italian cuisine with a touch of authenticity. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Whether you’re craving classic spaghetti and meatballs or a comforting lasagna, Vince’s provides delicious dishes that remind you of Grandma’s cooking. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking genuine Italian flavors in Ontario.

To be completely honest I didn't eat their food but my family loves it and always raves about it. I placed an order for them and they told me 15 minutes. When I arrived in less than 5 minutes it was ready and the staff was extremely friendly. The portion sizes were very large. Great value for the price and the placed looked to be full with lots of family ambience. Good job!

Do not come here if you don't like to wait 45 min for your water or iced tea. We had a party of 30 people reserved for a school reunion and at the same time they had a party of 20 high school grads. It took 40 min to get my beer I ordered. There was 1 employee for the entire 2x party's in the back room. Took a hour and half to get food. No refill on waters. Very slow service. The employee was also very short and rude. How do they staff 1 employee for 50 people? Of course there was a 18% auto gratuity for a big group so why should staff worry about how slow everything took?

I do not recommend eating at this restaurant. My mother ordered the regular lasagna with no beef sauce. When it arrived, the lasagna was cold and had beef sauce on it. We politely asked for a hot lasagna made correctly. However, the replacement dish came out even colder—the middle was actually frozen. We asked to speak with the manager to understand what was happening, and the manager told us that this was “normal,” which was shocking. At that point we just asked for the check so we could leave, but no one returned with the bill. When I got up to use the restroom, I witnessed the manager and several staff members gathered at the greeting podium making fun of my mother and mocking her complaint about the food being cold. While I understand that restaurant work can be stressful and mistakes happen, mocking guests is unprofessional and unacceptable. If staff feel the need to make jokes, they should do so in private—not in a place where customers can clearly hear or see them.

Yelp
I'm 71 years old and I started coming here as a child. I lived nearby for decades and ate here regularly. I moved away about 33 years ago but return every time I'm anywhere near. There is something magical about a place that really hasn't changed much over the decades. They still have the original 1 cent gum machine I got SQUARE green gum out as a little kid. I cannot resist putting a penny in it every time I visit. (:-) And this was the first place my parents treated me to Junior Mints that are still available on the check out counter. They offer what I call TASTE SENSATIONS that I simply cannot find anywhere else. Things like garlic bread dipped in THEIR house Italian salad dressing. And again...garlic bread dipped in their famous meat sauce. I used to order the meatball sandwich MADE on GARLIC BREAD and dip THAT in the dressing but I realized I was happiest with just a cup of meat sauce. Yes the spaghetti is great if you are a big pasta person but I'm more of a garlic bread person so the garlic bread, I use to scoop up meat sauce, is MY THING...and yes I frequently dip the bread in the dressing before I scoop up the meat sauce. (:-) I LOVE Vinces Spaghetti. I will return here every chance I get. And YES as big as the place is, it can still get packed. If you're in a rush, call and ask if they still take reservations. CLOSED WEDNESDAYS! If you find this review helpful please VOTE!

Yelp
It's sad to see the once great Vince's take a serious turn downward. Now I understand why the restaurant was half empty on a Saturday evening. I have been to this location dozens of times over the last 5 decades. Something has been off the last few times I've been here. The quality has not kept up with ever increasing prices. I get the feeling, this icon of a restaurant has lost its heart.

Yelp
Well, what do I say? This place has been here for over 75 years. And that's just a little bit surprising. At $24 a plate, I was a bit underwhelmed. The meat sauce was runny (ew) but the spaghetti itself was alright. The garlic bread was toasted just fine but it had almost no garlic butter at all. The drinks are $4 and no refills? Disappointed. Not saying go to Olive Garden. Maybe...cook this meal at your house. $60 with tip for two average plates of pasta.

Yelp
I usually love this place and have never had a bad experience--until tonight. We came in as a party of 15 for dinner, and the host at the front was unbelievably rude, treating us like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. It honestly felt like they were doing us a favor by even acknowledging us, as if we were getting dinner for free. I was this close to walking out. Thankfully, our waitress Krista was absolutely amazing and completely turned things around. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. If it weren't for her, this visit would've been a total loss. Management really needs to address how guests are greeted at the door--it sets the tone for the whole evening.

Yelp
Our go to when we're craving spaghetti. The spaghetti with meat sauce and an order of cheese bread always make our tummy's happy. The place is always packed and there's always a lot of people waiting to be seated. Service is always done right. The servers are so nice and take great care of their customers. Food comes out quick. We have never waited long, after ordering, to get our delicious plates of spaghetti.

Keith S.

Yelp
So disappointed. Have been coming to the Ontario location since before I was born. Tonight the food was subpar. The soup didn't taste the same. The spaghetti didn't taste the same. You could always count on such a consistent good meal here. We will continue to enjoy Vince's, just not at this location. Sure hope they can fix things up, would hate to see an iconic location close.

Madison C.

Yelp
The food is actually so bomb and delicious, and genuinely some of the best homemade spaghetti there is. The restaurant has a nice, italian style ambiance. The service when I went to sit down was good, and our waiter was really nice. I absolutely recommend Vince's spaghetti 10 times out of 10. I always get the spaghetti with meat sauce, and the portion lasts me daysss!

Yelp
Nostalgia comes to mind when we visited this spot. This place was recommended to us by a parent we met at a sporting event. She used to live in the neighborhood and still comes to eat here when she's around. This restaurant is definitely old school, from the outside facade to the interior decor it looks like little has changed. It originally opened in 1945 and from the looks of things continue to draw in customers. The lighting is a little dark but not too bad. The main menu is simple, spaghetti, lasagna, and a couple of sandwiches, sides, and beverages including alcohol. The way I can describe the spaghetti sauce is classic Americana. There's a lot of ground beef and I think just the right amount of dark tomato sauce. The lasagna was also great. I felt like it had the perfect mix of the sauce, the pasta, and the filling. You can also tell that they didn't use the same sauce as the spaghetti even though they looked the same the difference was subtle. Lastly make sure to bring your appetite because their serving size is enough to fill you up 3 times over. Our server was extremely nice, she came by and would check on us often. If you are ever in the neighborhood AND VERY HUNGRY stop by and this neighborhood landmark and enjoy a plate or of some classic home cooked pasta.

Yelp
It was ugly and sad to see a table was denied to a homeless man that had ordered to-go and decided to stay and eat. He received his food and asked the gentleman working the cash register if he could sit and eat his food, the employee got all tounge twisted and couldn't reply until another server asked him what was going on, he then whispered the man wants to stay and it as if the employee was disgusted with the idea. The woman employee then told the homeless man that he had needed to order the food for dinning. That's straight BS.

Yelp
The last time we were here my husband got the meatball sandwich which is usually our go-to but this last time he got food poisoning. After reading some of the reviews, others have mentioned the meatballs look old/dark and have been served cold. Will not be returning here.

Yelp
As an Italian, I love the spaghettie and cheese rolls The servers are very friendly and helpful The nest sauce is tasty But prices are slightly higher but understanding

Yelp
I find it interesting that DoorDash did not post my previous negative review of this restaurant (on DoorDash reviews for this restaurant). There was nothing crude or inappropriate about the review. I called the restaurant. I was on hold for over 10 minutes to speak with the manager. I was told by Allie that they acknowledged my preferences but they were "slammed" the evening in question. That is no excuse for bad service. A quality restaurant performs well under all circumstances. Vince's and DD customer service is less than mediocre at best. I will be sharing this experience with friends that travel to this area, order meals using DoorDash and other delivery services, and that also dine out. Avoid Vince's at all costs! I'm over it with Vince's. Bye, bye.

Yelp
never going back, food was dry and same sauce for everything soup was weird, only had pepsi products server was nice

Yelp
I went there for dinner last night with family and once again good experience. I've been there since the early 80's, worked briefly there with my Mom. It wasn't too busy on a Friday night dine in or take out. We were seated and served drinks right away. Didn't wait very long to order our food, most of the party ordered lasagna with meat sauce while I had Vince's dinner with meat ball and lite meat sauce. I added the provolone cheese. Server was very busy but attentive with not long wait bringing food and refill. Everything was very good as usual. I usually like to eat there for lunch cause the half order is more portions and filling.

Yelp
I'm shocked to see that I haven't posted a review here before as Vince's Spaghetti has been a constant staple in my life since childhood. There's no place like it and it's my #1 restaurant recommendation in this area. The food quality, price, taste, and value is unmatched - they don't have a massive menu, but what they do have on the menu, they do RIGHT. I have so many fond memories at this restaurant (graduation parties, birthday parties, date nights, etc.) and even more memories of Vince's to-go meals at family gatherings and other hosted events. Naturally, Vince's Spaghetti was my requested first meal back home after delivering my daughter. I used her 2-day old name as the "name on the order" and couldn't NOT share the news with the employee who took our pick-up order over the phone. To our surprise, the restaurant treated us to two complimentary desserts to celebrate the occasion and this new mommy enjoyed each bite! We will forever be grateful for this gesture (see pictures) and Vince's has a new fan as of March 2, 2024.

Yelp
Food is great! The service is amazing and quick. Family ambiance and great for a date. Well served portions, just wish the meatballs were bigger, for the price you pay. They are the size or a little bit bigger than a golf bag. The spaghetti is our favorite.

Yelp
Growing up with an Italian mom I am picky about sauces. This place is really good. It's been in business for years and family owned. I take-out when I'm in the area and bring it home. The restaurants are clean and staff are friendly.

Yelp
Can't believe I haven't wrote a review here since I been here a hundred times! You cannot beat old fashioned spaghetti! Menu is simple, solid, salad, pasta. Menu isn't extensive so it should take a long time to order. I believe spaghetti, lasagna, or manicotti. The prices are amazing for the amount you get. If I lived closer, I would come more often. Place is usually busy. Don't forget to add a meatball! And ask for light dressing cuz they drench it a little too much

Yelp
The sauce is not the same the soup is not the same go to rancho last time I went to Ontario I threw it in the trash

Yelp
My husband and I were so very disappointed in Vince's last night. Our family was seated and ignored by our waitress for over 10 minutes last night and they were not busy at all. She finally said after us waiting so long that she'd be right with us. After nearly another 10 minutes went by we said forget it and decided to leave. When the host asked if everything was alright we said no and that the waitress needs to be more attentive to customers. It was a special family dinner for his birthday, but it wasn't ruined thankfully because the next place we went to more than made up for it with delicious food and service. We've been coming here for over 30 years and I've never been more disappointed in this location.

Yelp
Food is okay. Interesting flavor of meat sauce, kinda sweet which I liked but they didn't give much. They had a good deal of Pasta, Salad, Soup, and Bread for $25! The Bread was super yummy. Service wise was meh too, I felt rushed despite it not being busy. Inside is intimate vibes and it's relaxing. I liked it a lot. Will I come back here again? Maybe if I am in the area and crave Italian. But not impressed enough to make it my go to.

Yelp
The wife and I went here for dinner Saturday night a little after 5 pm. Parking lot was full, but no wait inside got seated right away. Took a bit for a server to come by. I guess our server had a large party also. Another server brought our drinks took our order and brought out our soup and salad. Then the regular waitress brought our dinner out. Mine was cold except for the middle, even the meatball was cold. Took most of it home heated it up tonight for dinner added some meatballs and made some cheese toast. It was pretty good

Yelp
Vince's is a little family owned restaurant with a simple menu and large portions! We used to come here when we lived in SoCal, now we come here every time we vacation here. Food: 4.5/5 We really enjoy the food the food here. The pasta we have got every time is a 5/5. The soup is really good as well. The salad is ok, but it is very simple and mine was slightly over dressed. The portions are very large. The dinner comes standard with a "Half" portion and it is so filling for one person. Atmosphere: 4/5 I really like the atmosphere here. It may not be for everyone but, I like the dim lighting large dining room areas and the overall feel. It definitely is a comfort feel for me and it has a classic old school family restaurant vibe. Vince's has been here since 1945 and their outside sign has the classic nostalgic feel. Cool little piece of info: The original house that the owner live/lived on is right next door in the parking area. Customer Service: 4/5 Our service this trip was pretty good. Our waitress was quick and polite. She also recommended a good beer. The only reason I'm docking a point is because I was charged for the wrong dish on one of the meals, but I just paid it. At Vinces, you pay the bill at the front desk area. So, after I received my bill, I didn't see my server anymore. In the past though I have also got good service. Price: 5/5 I think it is priced well for the amount of food you get. The "Vince's Dinner" is around $20 and includes a soup, salad, garlic or cheese bread and a half portion of pasta. The beers and wine are very reasonably priced. Parking: 5/5 There is a large parking lot with a ton of parking! Vince's to me is just a cool, nostalgic, classic family Italian restaurant. I have personal ties to this restaurant so it always has a special place for me. If you are in or near the Ontario area of SoCal, it is definitely worth a trip out to try it out! I consider it a local gem!

Yelp
FYI, we went to the Ontario location Sunday, haven't been there in around 20 years we have been going to the Rancho location. my wife ordered the full order dinner and I ordered the lasagna. I regret ever ordering it i wasnt expecting all that spinach in it, it was horrible, i took 2 bites and could not eat it. I gave it back to the waitress and she just brought me a to go spaghetti , when I looked in the bag it looked like a Childs portion, after paying $26 all i got in exchange was that small container of spaghetti enough for a small child, it was so bad it actually gave me Diarrhea. we are never going back to that location. we will stick with Rancho due to the fact that EVERYTHING IS BETTER TASTING.

Yelp
If I could give Vince's one star I would. I grew up being a patron of this establishment and throughout the years the quality has gone way down. Today my family ordered a Vince's dinner for two, an a'la cart pasta, and two additional cheese breads to go. When we got home we realized they did not give us our additional 2 breads nor did they give us our soup for the Vince's dinner and the quality of the salad was terrible, it was mostly brown. My husband called the restaurant and they told him they couldn't give him a refund and would put his name in a book and he could get his additional breads and soup at a later date for dine in only. I want to add the quality of the spaghetti sauce is not like it used to be and was salty and acidic. I should have just gone to Olive Garden because at least at Olive Garden they have quality control and better customer service. If you want to support a local family business and want Italian save your money and head over to Cannataros in Chino. Their quality and taste has never changed.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place..! I've been coming for 30+ years and still the same flavor. Service is always fast weather you dine in or take out. The ambience is classic diner style. Place looks out dated but, I tell you the food is absolutely a staple in this area for years. The sauce is one of a kind flavor hitting the pallet in all the right spots, blending with the homemade style pasta , a flavor you go bananas for. I tell you this is definitely a flavor to enjoy each and every time. So grab an extra shirt and dive in on this delicious food, will leave you wanting more. And it reheats perfectly, tastes better the next day . Yum and yum

Yelp
This is one of my longtime favorite places to go. While I was in town recently, I stopped for a full order of spaghetti and meat sauce with the melted cheese on top and they're famous garlic bread. It didn't disappoint. It was as delicious as ever. The weight staff was friendly and professional food came in a very timely manner and I always enjoy looking at the vintage pictures posted around the restaurant. I love the way it is decorated. It always feels like a blast to the past. Don't think you'd be disappointed by stopping here I haven't been and been eating here for over 60 years

Mary V.

Yelp
Went for birthday birthday celebration. Food: as always excellent tasty? Delicious. Service: ok, a Katherine waitress, very rude! Other then that everyone else were great. Ambiance: wonderful, 99% great. I will return, it's a favorite place.

Yelp
Vince's Spaghetti is a community favorite and a must-stop in the Ontario area. The portions are large, the taste is always delicious, and the service is great. We had family from out of town (a party of 11), and we all agreed that Vince's was the spot!
google avatar

Maddy T.

Yelp
Vince's spaghetti is such a classic simple spot. It is one of the only places around so cal that specializes in a few simple items and that's it. As simple as it may be, their spaghetti with meatballs can cure my sickness. I've also gotten their masta however you spell it and their French dip which is heavenly in itself. Their spumoni and carrot cake are also so good. The main thing though is the waitress. Everyone has always been super nice but the lady we had today (Saturday night) was fantastic. She had her hair done up all nice and high and had almost a Jersey accent? Super super sweet lady. She was very busy with all the tables but you can tell she was doing her best. Love this place, and super cheap food in this economy!

Yelp
What hasn't been said about Vince's. I've been coming to the Ontario location since I was about 8 years old. After we played hockey across the street at the Ontario Ice Rink. The location has been here for years and is the original location. Parking is tight and enough for about 80+ vehicles. Handicap stalls are about two maybe three. No steps but a good slight incline down towards the front door. Wait room inside for about 10 (Mostly waiting for take out and outside for about 20-25) As you wait for a table you can smell the food and it smells so goood !!! When your inside your always greeted by a friendly maître d'. There are four rooms and they have a banquet room too. (Reservations are required) The front area are booths (About 10-12). The middle room are mixed with booths (About 7-8) and tables for About (10-12). The back room are for the largest parties mostly with small children ( Approximately 20-25 tables and chairs and (5-7 booths) That's what it seemed like the one and only we were back there. We useably sit in the front locations because the noise level can get elevated at times. A lot of pasta !! The kitchen is always busy and the servers are fast to keep up with the flow. Food hardly ever sits in the window before it swooped up and taken to your table HOT VERY HOT !!! Spaghetti is there specialty but they do have a host of other great food items to try. They also have what's called a "Full" order and "Half" order. Don't let the half order fool you. ITS A LLLOOOOTTT of food on the half plate of spaghetti with meat sauce. Meatballs are very tasty and HOT !! I usually get the half order spaghetti with meat sauce and one or two meatballs. Cheese or Garlic bread and a very nice plain salad with your choice of dressing and a drink.... Abbondanza I think that's how it's said lololol Here are the numbers, in my humble option, for Vince's Spaghetti. Location: 8 for 10 Food: 10 for 10 Service 10 for 10 Return 10 for 10 DEFINITELY !! No pictures this time but will go back for some pics.. Until Nest Time, Stanley.

Yesenia L.

Yelp
The mostaccioli was good. The meatballs are old and do not taste good. The color is like black. I do not recommend them and the manager when explained about the dark meatballs, she didn't handle it very well. She should've been more professional. We're not friends or customers.

Yelp
Located off Holt Blvd between Central Ave and Mountain Ave. I've been coming to Vince's as far back as I can remember. Every time I stop in, it brings back different memories. The decor still remains the same from what I can remember and to be honest, I'm good with that. It's like going back to your parents home. The restaurant's actually pretty spacious with a lot of seating. There's a good combination of booth and table seating with a couple bar seats, although I'm not sure if the bar seating's still used. The menu's limited with a focus on spaghetti. I mean they serve over 21 tons of spaghetti every month, and over 15,000 miles each year. I usually rotate between spaghetti and lasagna during my visits. Unfortunately, during my last stop, I was informed the lasagna has been discontinued. Hopefully this isn't long term and they bring it back in the future. Vince's usually has a couple local craft beers on draft which is nice. I went with Claremont Craft Ales 35 Miles NE which is a New England hazy. I enjoy eating at Vince's and will continue for many more years. If you haven't been here before, you should stop in for dinner and see what you think.

Yelp
I've been coming here for the last 20 years. It's very nostalgic for me. That's me back to my early 20's. Food is just as good as it was back then too. Don't need a big variety when you've mastered spaghetti.

Yelp
Vince's ALWAYS hits home. My Aunt used to work at the Ontario location when she was a teenager (she is now in her 70s) Great place, love the vintage old school decor. I've been coming here since I was born and so have my kids (now they are grown up men with families of their own. They carry on the Vince's Spaghetti tradition too

Yelp
Got to-go tonight. A "to-go" person since I adopted a dog with separation anxiety, I've become somewhat of an expert on, not only the FOOD!, but on the packaging quality, effort, and ACCOUNTABILITY. The reason I mention accountability is because ALOT of restaurants short you on to-go orders. I am just blown away on the freshness, packaging, customer service ordering and picking up, and AMOUNT of food we got. Thank you vinces for allowing me the full memorial experience from when I was a little girl. Annette Martin

Yelp
My husband and I love to go to restaurants that have stood to the test of time. Vince's Spaghetti has been around since 1945. When you walk in you definitely are walking back in time. The staff was very nice and welcoming. You can tell that a lot of regular customers come here. We were very sad to hear that they are no longer making Lasagna. The entire menu is really Spaghetti, I believe they also have a French dip and meatball sandwiches. The garlic cheese bread and the cheese bread were incredible. The Spaghetti was good, simple, a little bit on the sweet side. Meat balls were also good.

Yelp
Came here for our work Christmas party with about 25 people on a Tuesday afternoon. We were assisted by a single waitress and she was very efficient in taking our orders. For our party the menu was relatively simple, consisting of spaghetti along with a soup or salad and side of garlic bread. Vince's Spaghetti does the simple things right. The meat sauce with the spaghetti has plenty of flavor and the portions are large. The garlic bread is a must try and I couldn't get enough! If you are in the area and want some no-nonsense spaghetti, then Vince's is your place!

Yelp
The best spaghetti in Ontario, Ca. I love getting the meat sauce with the spaghetti. I enjoy their cheese bread as well. We also got the meatballs on the side. So scrumptious! Everyone that works there are very friendly and great customer service.

Yelp
One of the most authentic Italian restaurants I've been to. The sauce is superb, I just wish they had one closer to Riverside.

Yelp
First time here. The salad was drenched in dressing. The pasta tasted like plastic. The sauce and pasta was extremely watered down. The only positive thing was the staff was nice. Food was a 2/10. Not the greatest.

Yelp
My entire family got sick from eating here. The only reason I'm being nice and giving 2 starts because of the waitress she was very attentive and caring. We will not return. I get the chills just thinking of this place.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious!... I love thick meat sauce on my spaghetti or lasagna and they delivered just that!!... soup n salad were delicious also ... the service was excellent and very attentive and friendly! I Love the atmosphere of authentic Italian restaurant ... I will definitely visit again very soon ... I met with 4 other family members to catch up on life... and we had a good time! ... we sat there talking after we had their amazing desserts and we didn't feel rushed to leave while we caught up with each others lives ... I highly recommend this place .

Yelp
Food was ok. Salad had lots of brown lettuce. Bread was good. Service ok. Surprised no knife provided. Run down and dark inside.

Yelp
If I can I would give it a negative. 1. When you just enter the restaurant, you can smell something like sewage. Later I noticed the floor next to restroom was dirty too. It was the worst smell I ever had in a restaurant. 2. Pay attention to the menu. They charge you 1.65 just for an empty plate. 3. Ordered 1 gallon sauce to go in smaller containers. Instead they charge me 4 quarter price instead of a gallon price, which is 10 dollars more. If they think their math is better, at least they're not smart enough to keep their customers.

Yelp
Historic location you can imagine this ( with the remnants of a motel in the parking lot) in the middle of orange groves. 65 year ago The outside is actually better than the inside. Once inside it's a hodgepodge of big rooms dark ugly florescent lights and bare bones old decor. Almost depressing. The Food: Small menu. Opted for the Spaghetti dinner. Soup /salad /garlic bread and a mountain of spaghetti ( meatball was extra ) The help : Efficient and I always like places that hire older workers. The taste : Not good or bad. I remember the garlic cheese bread being more crunchy and tasty. Couldn't finish a half order. But not worth a to go box The Cost : I thought for what you get it definitely isn't worth 70 bucks for 2. Spaghetti is the cheapest thing to make. Meat sauce isn't a kings ransom either. Final thoughts: Maybe nostalgia is over rated the clientele at this location looks very small town and like me were chasing a memory. The Rancho Cucamonga location has the same food but for some reason it's much more fun. I've been here 4 times in the last 2 months because there's something I'm craving but not sure what it is.
