Jade Chinese used to be a favorite. I had not been there in two years or so, maybe more. I was in the area with my mom and sister and decided to stop in for lunch. The food was not the same, fairly close, but not the same. The eggrolls were most notably different, as these seemed to be frozen, small spring roll type that can be found anywhere, including grocery stores. The eggrolls from the past were hand made and delicious. Again, the food was average, not bad but not good either.
The service started off ok, with a young man being the only visible employee initially. He seemed pleasant enough, and took our order. However, upon return to our table he made a reference to videos of stupid white people being clumsy and proceeded to show us videos on his phone of people falling. He was asked to get us some refills and he left the table to our relief. When he returned the next time, he decided to tell us of a recent dating experience wherein graphic detail was used to speak about a sexual encounter. We quickly paid our check and left. I have tried to reach ownership or management three times since our visit a few weeks ago and each time I am told that no one is available to speak to me. Do yourself a favor, skip this place. It is not the same restaurant that it used to be, and no one who now runs it seems to care much. The women's restroom is piled with boxes and cleaning supplies and random things. Really weird and gross. I hope this review keeps people from having the absolutely awful experience experience that we had.
