Super Orient Buffet — Semoran Blvd, Orlando Yes! The food is great! Don’t let the exterior of the restaurant fool you. You’re in for a treat with this all-you-can-eat buffet offering a wide variety of tasty Chinese dishes at very affordable prices. As of June 2025, lunch for an adult is $12.99 and dinner is $16.99. Some of my favorites were the fried rice, chicken and broccoli, fish, steak and broccoli, steamed shrimp, and crab salad. You can also enjoy sushi, mussels, fried shrimp, fresh fruit, desserts, and so much more! My overall rating is four stars because the restrooms need attention — they should be cleaned more thoroughly, and the lighting is very dim. Note to the owner: please replace the light bulbs with brighter ones! Also, the outside of the restaurant looks a bit run down. We were skeptical at first, but other positive reviews convinced us to try it, and we were not disappointed.

So this is the closest Chinese buffet from our house, this the second time I visited. The first time was not good, the food was mostly cold and the selection was poor, my husband refuses to go back. My daughter and I decided to give it another try, to be honest they have a better selection and the food felt fresher and hot. The fried rice is not good at all, the “shrimp boiled” was bland and the shrimp was dirty and overcooked, the dumplings were dry and didn’t taste right. The soups, sweet and sour chicken and the sushi, were good. But, when we entered there were three employees standing and talking in front of the entrance, all giving their back to the door, we stood there for a good minute trying to get their attention until they finally acknowledged us. The place is old, dated and it could be cleaner. As you have to pay after you eat, we waited for the server to bring me the bill but she never did and I couldn’t find her, we went to the register and there was no one there or around, we could’ve easily just leave without being noticed and without paying but I’m not that type of person, so I had to walk around to find the girl and get the bill, I found her cleaning our table like nothing. Again there was no one at the register until a couple asked one of the girls for help, same thing they could’ve just walked away and no one would’ve noticed. I really wish it was a better place cause it’s so close to us, but we’ll continue driving to our favorite buffet, it’s worth the gas.

The outside is pretty run down, the bathroom is dark and scary the back of the TVs are really dusty baseboards are very dusty. But crazy I know but we did eat there 1 or 2 times a month. I would just like to see it cleaned up cuz it's about the only place we ever went out to eat but after observing and looking around the restaurant really needs cleaned ! Sorry to say we no longer go there anymore. I posted this hoping to get a response from them or for them to make some improvements to clean and dust a little bit the place is nasty I can't believe the health department hasn't shut it down!

Honestly, the food was pretty good! The service was even better!! And the atmosphere was laid back and pretty chill. I would totally come here again.

Hello, the food here is really very good! We traveled from Oklahoma to visit friends and we ate here. and it is very tasty, the atmosphere is pleasant and the staff was attentive and for 8 people we spent 120 dollars. and we ate very delicious fried rice and there is a variety of food. Comparing it with my state, here there is more variety and better flavor. I congratulate you.

When I went they had a bucket on the floor a few feet away from my table collecting water dripping from the ceiling, food was not hot and tasted as if they never got rotated just sat until ate, price was more expensive than other buffets with way better quality foods and cleaner establishments, iv gone a total of 3 times and each time it somehow got worse and 2 of the 3 times I ended up getting food poisoning. I'll never step foot back in that place nor will I ever suggest anyone to eat here.

I was gladly surprised with the variety of food they offer, my favorite part was the sushi station because I wasn’t expecting to see one and the quality of the sushi was amazing, is fresh and they make sure to have it all filled. Make sure you try the coconut ice cream, it was delicious, I also like the fact that they have family pictures in the register, is a nice touch for a family business. Keep going guys :)

I stopped by to give them a try last Sunday. I was pretty impressed at the wide selection of food options. The stuffed crab was delicious. Service is simple since you are seated at the table and you help yourself at the buffet bar. Ambience is active with customers, food is pretty good. Folks if you're in the neighborhood give them a try.

This was my first time coming to super Orient buffet. And I gotta admit, the price is really good. And as far as buffet food goes, it's okay. My only issue with the place is good. It wasn't as clean as I would have liked it to been. Where the food service is at? It's pretty clean, and the bathroom area is pretty clean too. But being a tall person, I got views that other people wouldn't get and some of the awnings and stuff like that were caked in dust the service was pretty good as well. And like I said, you can't beat the price.

I actually love this place. It's been super clean whenever I've been there and the service has been great. The lunch price is super worth it and the food is actually really good. The hibachi bar is by far my favorite part. It's a Chinese buffet that looks like a Chinese buffet and while I can feel my blood pressure rising as I eat it I'm generally having a great time while I'm here. Would recommend.

Great variety also sushi, desserts, ice cream. Self serve. Very attentive they clean after each guest and the food is good and price is right they are very busy but no waiting

Service and price wise this is a great spot. The servers are usually very quick and clean up well and price is very good for a buffet. Now the bad part...I've eaten here twice and have gotten sick both times. The first time I thought was a fluke but after the second time I will not be returning. The dumpling were good but the springs rolls were very greasy, sushi rice was dry, the the chicken was more dry than what is expected for buffet style chicken. They do have quite an array of options and the donuts were pretty good but I can't forgive the 24 hours of stomach pain and nausea I felt after both times.

We had our office Christmas Luncheon for 15 today and it couldn't have been any better! The service, food and timely service of the entrees, everything was perfect. The staff was wonderful! I would highly recommend for your next event; I know I'll be planning another one. Thank you !We had a wonderful time.

Tried this place for the first time since we always pass by it. The food is not good in my opinion. Either it has no flavor, or the flavor is off. I didn't take a picture of anything because everything just looked unappetizing in my opinion. For two adults it came out to $34.06 before tip which is a lot more expensive than we expected it to be considering how bland and underwhelming the food is. The place is decently clean. It definitely looks old and could use repairs inside and out but it didn't look or feel dirty. Service was good. The staff was average for these kind of buffets so no complaints there. Overall, we will not be coming back. I'd rather go to Chick Fil A for my meal since it's cheaper and actually tastes good.

The food was excellent, had a nice variety, I appreciated that the wait staff was constantly floating picking up used plates, and the food areas remained relatively neat considering how many customers were there. We set comfortably party of eight and our waitress was attentive even when my 8 yr old nephew requested a plate

I love this place! It's always packed and the food is always fresh!! So many sushi and seafood options! They even offer hibachi and it's included with the buffet price. The food was so good I forgot to take picture of all of my plates. I didn't eat all day just so I could really enjoy myself, and I did love this place, definitely recommend

I've lived around here for over 2 years and decided it was time to try this place out considering the parking lot is always packed with cars. I ate almost a little bit of everything to gauge the quality of the food and overall it was just okay. In particular, the orange chicken was not crispy on the outside and the breading was almost spongy. The two different egg rolls were crispy at least but the flavor was lacking. The sushi was okay but I didn't expect much anyways. The hot and sour soup was actually really good and it was very close to what I would say is perfect. The service is great! Attentive staff and they always refilled our waters and brought the check at an appropriate time which I appreciate because I hate feeling rushed and I also don't like having to sit around trying to catch one of the servers to bring the check. The ambiance reminds me the early 2000s which is both a nostalgic and weirdly comforting feel. The decor is old but the place is surprisingly big inside. *BONUS: dinner was $15.99 which is CHEAP considering the cost of goods these days, it's hard to find an American Chinese buffet that inexpensive and honestly I would go back if I ever have a strong craving for a buffet again

This establishment we found not doing Yelp homework, but via Google maps. It was a straight Two Star across the board, there was not one thing that redeemed it. The General Gau, hot and sour soup, lo mein, Rangoon, etc, were all decidedly unimpressive. My spider sense tingled as we pulled up and saw the mess out back, and the shabbyness of the parking , building, and entrance door, I should have spun on my heel.

I see the low reviews and honestly I'm shocked. The owner is very nice. The food is consistently excellent and never old. Every time I've been the food is rotated out to remain fresh. The restaurant is never empty and the waiting staff is always very prompt to remove empty plates and refill endless beverages. I have been to many area Chinese restaurants and a couple buffets and Super Orient Buffet is by far the best. We will remain regulars and would recommend it even if the reviews don't look that great.

As soon as I walked into the bathroom, I could hear someone throwing up in the men's. Immediately left.

Good price lots of food items to choose from. Food stays hot . Like the fried crabs, dumplings and the fried shrimps. Need to expand soft drink list . Fresh fruits . Parking lot, dining room and bathrooms needs overhaul

The food excellent. the food excellent. but the treatment was not good for me since I do not speak fluent English because it is not my language, much less Chinese, and the lady who helped me instead of looking for a solution caused laughter to her and her other co-worker. , I think so. If it weren't for that I would return on other occasions.

The food was tasty but on the greasy side. Service was quick, I had three drink refills. I left full, which is one sign that it was a good buffet.

I was recommended this place and didn't check Yelp first (my mistake). The bathroom smelled like pee and it wasn't clean or gave the impression it was sanitized or taken care of properly. Bad sign. A restaurant should not have a bathroom that smells like people peed all over the place. Cut into my sushi (not proud of it) when I was getting full and found this sticker inside the seaweed lol I've never seen anything like this so I needed to share. I'm just in shock that it was on the INSIDE touching the imitation crab. So the chef clearly didn't see or care enough to remove the sticker before putting the crab on it which is just so insane to me. And the sticker was cut so there's another slice of sushi somewhere with the other piece of it lol. This is probably one of the worst buffets I've been to. If you want [good] Chinese food, please go somewhere else. I'm not from Orlando so I don't know how the Chinese places are around here, but stay away from this place if you care about the quality of food you're spending money on. The dinner price for the all you can eat was $13.99 so you definitely get what you pay for!!

I came in with no expectations, but left impressed enough to want to return. Adult dinner was $16 and kids dinner was $8. While the sushi could have been better, we enjoyed everything else. There were plenty of Asian inspired chicken, beef, seafood dishes that anyone on the Standard American Diet should be able to find a favorite dish worth coming back up for seconds. Topping it off, my girls really liked the ice cream desserts. In other words this meal would qualify as an epic cheat day.

Food is good some need a little more seasoning but other than that okay. Nice variety of food and fruit. Service was fast getting us in to a table. The server watched the table close when drinks got low. Ambiance is good it's a busy place but good. One thing they need to clean their tables better or it's just the way they look.

This is my favorite restaurant in Orlando, great variety of food, many different dishes, seafood, asian food, French fries, meat, chicken, the soda are refil, it has many desserts including ice cream. Before 3 p.m you pay $10,99, after 3 p.m it's $13,99 I really liked the place it is good for those who eat a lot.

I went to this spot on 16 yr. old recommendation. I know him personally and I know he loves Chinese as much as I do so I have it a shot. It was $13.99 for dinner which I thought was very good price for an all you can eat establishment. The decor and the overall Aura of the place I'm not going to lie it was missing something and really couldn't put my finger on it but it was a little off. When you talk about hospitality at an all you can eat Chinese place I pretty much think it's all the same. The hostess seats you and asks for your drink then it's feeding time. LoL Now to the most important part is the food. I must say every dish I tasted and saw was very put together and very well presented. I'm a sucker for good presentation of food. My list of food were boneless ribs, orange chicken, sesame seed chicken, all kinds of shrimp, also different chickens, rice, Lo mein. I ended my dinner with sushi which wasn't that bad. The dumplings were so juicy and filled with flavor that I ate more than what I bargained for. If I'm in the area again, knowing me i would definitely eat there again!

Food hot & great taste and price. If only if they would fix the air conditioning fans don't cut it. Especially here in Florida.

This place is OK. I couldn't find certain foods listed on the website in the buffet. Yelp has them listed as having beer and wine but they have no alcohol.

This place is extremely racist and they don't try to hide it. I literally watch them serve all tables except mines. All of the woman were huddled up talking to one another and my waiter didn't come around to refill our drinks nor did she remove the dishes from our table. The place literally only has about four different families here today, including mines.They are choosing to not service my table. I hope you guys get investigated and shut down after this review! Especially the lady with the bobbed short cut black hair.. very rude.

Dirty tables, no customer service and the buffet was not stocked and some of the food was cold.

I was very reluctant to patronize this establishment due to the reviews. Today I was hungry and had a strong desire for a Chinese buffet. Aesthetically improvements could be made but overall it's a solid buffet for the price. They have a great selection; most if the dishes I ate we're hot and flavorful. When going for ice cream they scoop it out for you, which I prefer due to the lack of hygiene some folks possess. My waitress didn't say much but was efficient. Overall, I'll visit again. The lunch price was: $8.49.

Two stars only because this place was available on UberEats at a time when I was lazy at home on my only day off. Alex (BF) and I ordered egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, house special lo mein, and egg drop soup. There's not much to say about this place because literally every single thing was disappointing. It was bland, tasteless, needed salt desperately, and was just terribly greasy. The sweet and sour chicken was very soft and not crispy in the slightest. Sauce didn't taste like anything really. House special lo mein has a good amount of protein in it with lots of noodles but was also bland. Soup and egg rolls were meh. Also I ordered soup and didn't get a spoon. But I got a fork at least. I asked for extra napkins and barely got any either. That's what I get for being lazy I guess. Lol

What happened to this buffet! This is the third time this month I came here. I mean a good Chinese buffet is impossible to find in florida,specially Orlando, but this one used to be decent. They used to have some of the best boneless ribs on this side of Orlando. Their bourbon chicken was amazing, just like their fried chicken wings. Now the food was horrible. Everything on the buffet was just disappointing and disgusting. OMG all their shrimps had a HUGE vain of shit, I didn't even know you can still find shrimps like that. The ribs... don't get me started on that, taht was my biggest disappointment they were just WOW in a bad way. The broccoli chicken tasted like absolutely nothing. I literally took one bite of each things and asked for the check!! It was exactly what I would expect of eating overseas, not here in the states. I will not be coming here again

The place is definitely run down, if you are looking for a dining experience this is not it. The food is mediocre and so is the service. But this would be the last time I ever eat there, I ended up with horrible food poisoning from this place. Never again. Dept of health should pay a visit

OMGosh, I don't know what is wrong with the staff but their demeanor & attitude are HATEFUL! As if they are women hating on women. I went with my friend who is also a woman and from the second we stepped in to be seated to the second we stepped out, we felt unwelcome. We asked the hostess if they had gloves, she mumbled words & kept walking away. As we were grabbing gloves, she gave us a mean stare from the distance bc she had to wait 5 seconds for us to get to where she was to sit us. The waitress never brought us the knives we asked, refilled our drinks nor picked the plates up. We had to ask her and she never cared to look at us nor talk to us. At the very end, I was observing her behavior towards others... when she was picking up the paying stubs, she smiled at those tables and asked if she could take the checks. As a result I thought to myself: "well maybe she only gives a little attention when is paying time" so we gave her a chance. What was I thinking?! You know what those tables had in common..? They all had a man. She came and grabbed our check without asking & stormed away. Ok I had it by that point, so I told her she wasn't nice. Don't think it would have made a difference talking to the manager/hostess because they all had the same attitude. I can't believe they haven't improved their behavior & manners after all these witnesses and complaints. But if I were them I'd start changing bc if they continue like this, it will be a matter of time for them to be closed down. Also, the water tasted like toilet water yuuuuk They all looked MISERABLE and it was a bad vibe. The only people who were nice were the Spanish cooks who would come to refill the buffet trays. Moreover, the bathrooms well you guys have read enough reviews to have an idea. It'll make me sick to to talk about it. P.S: Surprisingly, the food is decent. There are quite a few items that are pretty good. A Bad Attitude is Never good practice

So many things! I especially like the hibachi. They also have both vanilla AND chocolate pudding.

This is their disgusting bathrooms. The toilet seats are stained yellow and black. The place has such a strong urine smell. It would make anyone vomit walking in.

Horrible experience today, if you are disabled don't go to this restaurant , they will treat you like an inconvenience . I had to leave the premises after an hour waiting because they don't have tables for people with disabilities. People kept going to their tables while I waited over an hour. I will never go back there and wouldn't recommended to anyone; total disregard for peoples disabilities

We live super close by and pass it almost daily it so I told my fiance we should go today. We have an affinity for hole-in-the-wall kind of places and this Chinese buffet seemed to fit the bill. We went around 2:45pm about an hour before the end of their lunch pricing. Outside needs a little TLC with overgrown weeds and a lackluster paint job. But the parking lot was decently full and we were convinced there was more than meets the eye. Upon entering, the place seemed to come to life, the restaurant wasn't absolutely full but there was a lot of movement and warmth. Before seating us, the hostess asked us to grab some gloves. There is also hand sanitizer available. If I were to describe the decor, it would be 80's/ early 90s style. You got your neon and you got your natural brown wood. The buffet stations are clean but definitely outdated. More than half the food wasn't labeled so you kind of have to guess what was what. Some were obvious and others were not. But everything was neat. In fact, the whole restaurant seemed very clean and the staff was quick to whisk away dirty plates. The fun begins with the food. My fiance and I had fun with this one. It was like a treasure hunt to find what tasted the best. Some things were pretty decent, some things were overly breaded, and others were bland. There was only one or two things I absolutely disliked. My fiance's favorite bourbon chicken, but I couldn't choose one. There is also a grill where you can choose your own raw ingredients and they'll cook it for you. I got myself some noodles and that was pretty good. The waitress picked up our plates but that's about it. Never asked if we wanted a refill, instead opting to serve only one of us water when our drinks ran out This was a tough choice since it was almost a four but just missed the mark. Not sure if I would come again, but for a $10 lunch buffet, it is tempting!

I mean what's not to love about a Chinese buffet? Medium temperatures, no smiles, and children screaming! It's your typical chinese buffet, your favorite Chinese American dishes, no smiles from servers, and sub par temps on food. If you stalk the buffet when they are putting food out you will definitely have better quality of food. What does set this place apart from others is the price you can't bear $11.99 for dinner buffet. It's slightly a guilty pleasure.

Awful old food. Not fresh at all. Literally paid to eat a few noodles and I was out! And the water taste like Clorox

One of the worst places I've ever ate at. I first learned of this place, eight years ago on a date with my husband. We had the worst experience, and they were buckets around the Buffay water, dripping from the ceiling, and in the middle of it we looked at each other and decided to walk out. Eight years later, we're both married and were in the mood for Chinese food, so he kind of mansion About the oriental buffet, and we decided to give it a second chance. Worst mistake we've ever done, and I think we deserve that. The food wasn't hot and some of the food taste like it was old and overcooked. The lettuce was dirty and it was dead leaf lettuce in the mix so I chose to move on and try something else . Like I said, worst mistake in the middle of us eating I look at my husband and try to be nice and said, is it me or is there something wrong with this food? He looked right into my eyes and said no honey the food taste like shit. I've been in the service industry over 40 years and I know quality food and this wasn't quality food. Everything taste old all the hard food was cold, and all the cold food was lukewarm. I had peaches and they were the temperature of the room. And talk about the temperature. They had no AC in Florida. It's 96° and they had fans around the whole restaurant which probably drank 5°. One of the worst experience I've ever had in my entire life. if I could write this -5 I would've done it so whoever reads this stay the hell away from this place please! I would not feed this food to the homeless.

I visited Super Orient Buffet in April, 2022, with my grand-daughter, home on leave from the Air FORCE. I was really impressed with them; especially the fact that they provide you with plastic gloves to use while making your selections from the buffet. every thing was on point and delicious. I am hoping to go there again REAL soon.

this place is super mediocre.some of the chicken and beef tasted like it was from a can, sushi was not as good as it looked! they did make sure everything was fresh, they did do that but the food wasn't as good as i would of liked for it to be! i would give it a 5 outta 10!

food was disgusting, my boyfriend and I felt sick half way through our meal. Literally could not eat the food it tasted so weird and under cooked. The sushi was poorly made. The pricing online says 12.99 but after we paid it was 15.99. We didn't even ask for a refund but we mentioned the fact the food made us sick the person there said "well you're the first person" and shrugged his shoulders we didn't even ask for a refund. The place has so many buckets full of water from leaks it was just such a horrible place. I didn't have much expectations for this place but seriously the staff were rude, food was horrible, place was a mess with leaks everywhere, and wrong pricing.

The place is okay. They have an average amount of selection for a chinese buffet. They've got your buffet staples like fried rice, rangoons, sushi, broccoli and meats, you name it. I enjoyed the teriyaki, it was a lot juicier than I expected and definitely one of the better teriyakis I've had at Chinese buffets. Seafood selection was meh your standard tilapia, fried shrimp etc. I also tried the habachi where you pick your own ingredients. The mini corn smelled odd to me and overall the selection just didn't look too fresh to me. Dessert aisle is a bit lacking but they do have two to three fresh fruits alongside your canned fruits and of course there's jello. There's also no ice cream machine, you'll be scooping it out of tubs. Not a bad place to get your Chinese buffet fix. It's not too special but it's got the staples.

First of all, the parking lot looks looks a dump... so much trash. No one takes pride in the appearance of this place. Overgrown shrubs, filthy sidewalks and parking litter lot. The food was decent, but not very hot... which I hate. The restaurant was VERY loud and the waitresses were hard to find. I won't be back here.

Giving 4 stars because compared to Asian buffets, it is what it is. The service isn't the best, atmosphere is nothing special, but the food is good, bottom line. Of Asian buffets their sushi is outstanding. Also, their baked clams and oysters are delicious! So don't be ridiculous, it's a cheap Asian buffet with decent food. What else matters?

I had a great experience at this place. They had a variety of food options and the food was overall very good and fresh. I do agree with the previous comments about the bathroom, but other than the bathroom being a bit dirty this is a good spot to eat and I definitely will be back.

The absolute worst i was only in orlando for a few hours on a layover and found them on uber eats i ordered beef and broccoli asked for extra soy sauce when my food arrived the beef was white and i didnt get any soy sauce or even a utensil i called to the restaurant to complain no type of customer service skills at all and they tried to convince that this gummy white meat was beef i dont know what there cooking up but it wasnt a cow nor was it chicken that was a waste of my hard earned money... i wouldn't recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy

I personally believe the establishment serves an injustice to the Orlando community. They believe it's right to charge more for takeout, rather than to dine in. weighing with the bag cutlery and condiments. The staff always have a nasty attitudes and extremely miserable doing their job. They never come to the table when customers dine in and expect a huge tip. This is very unfortunate and I hope the manager can address this issue ASAP.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. From the weeds in the parking lot to the dirty front door area this restaurant was disgusting. The dining room was an absolute mess carpet torn and filthy, and the walls were terrible I felt as though something was crawling on me the entire time I was there. Staff were cleaning up and sweeping while customers sat and ate. My family and I left after about 10 minutes because the food tasted old, and it seemed like they boiled everything in the same water. Please save your money and stay away from this place unless you want to end up in the ER.
