A local favorite for balanced fish‑to‑rice nigiri and creative specials, O’A earns praise in Edible Reno‑Tahoe’s sushi guide and from Reno diners who value attentive service. Expect classic AYCE options alongside better‑executed rolls than the norm.

Food was ok. Pot stickers were undercooked.Very doughy. The lady behind the counter that was making the rolls kept coughing A LOT and not covering her mouth at all. She was literally coughing over food that was served. They were very unwelcoming. There were times when we would look up, and they were looking at our table with the rudest look. Definitely will not be returning at all. We had a 1 year old with us and they did not seem to like that either. I’m not sure how they have 4.6 rating. There was also a small piece of hair in our order

When I was visiting Japan. I was thinking about this place with all the delicious sushi choices. The all you can eat option is a great choice especially if you are hungry for tons of great sushi’s. Make sure you ask for Simon for the best service. He is a great server and really good with kids. The only thing with him is he will keep bringing all that awesome dishes until you can barely get up and walk 😀

Good AYCE sushi place. Operated by Chinese and is to their Chinese restaurant next door. Lunch AYCE is $26 and dinner is $32. You can order the dinner menu anytime but, of course, pay for dinner AYCE price. The difference is a bunch of “dinner maki” available for more &$.

Best sushi joint in Reno in my opinion for three reasons. First, The service is absolutely on it! We've been here twice now and each time the ladies waiting on tables are so kind and are always paying attention from afar to see if you need more drinks or another sheet or whatever. By far the best I've seen in Reno. We loved Ohana before, but man is their service awful. O'A showed us the light. Second, the food is great! Always fresh and very flavorful. The Bomb was my favorite. It comes out fairly quick which is rare for many sushi places. Haven't tried a roll we didn't like. Don't sleep on the sweet potato rolls like the Crazy Dream. Very good. Third was the atmosphere. Smaller place, but quiet enough to talk at hushed volumes and hear the person across from you. Very rare for a sushi place. Very impressed all around.

Our new favorite sushi spot! The menu has an impressive variety, the fish was exceptionally fresh, and our server was incredibly friendly, they really made the experience even better. Prices were surprisingly reasonable (no small loan required), and we genuinely loved every dish we ordered. We can’t wait to come back.

The male server was amazing! He was great with my kiddos making jokes and interacting with them made our whole experience awesome. Food was good too.

I’ve been gatekeeping this place because although the place is small and is no frills, the service is really excellent and the sushi always fresh. At least every time I go there. I really like how their staff is so friendly that they take time to talk to you even though they’re busy. And the chefs…I just have to say that they are very accommodating. If there’s something you want that’s not on the menu, just ask and they will try their best to accommodate. I do not like any sauce or mayo at all and they are really good at making sure I didn’t have any in all of my orders. They even ask if you’re ok with certain ingredients before serving your order to you. I especially like the fact that the portions are just right, and not too much rice. Perfect balance of fish and rice. I definitely like eating here.

Early Sunday, party of 3, went for the lunch all you can eat. Great service, friendly servers and looks like a lot of regular customers come here. Loved it, not too much rice, lots of fresh fish, yellowtail melted in your mouth and the unagi so delicious. Just about everything was tasty and fresh. Even loved my green tea ice cream...This is our new go to sushi place, thanks to my kid who's been out exploring the Reno foodie scene.
