I have been coming here for years and food and service has always been consistent! It’s why we chose to have my son and Lindsey’s baby shower here this past Sunday. Not only was the food excellent but the service was off the chain ! The waiter and the waitress’s were so sweet and they all they asked to help bring stuff in while we decorated ( but we wouldn’t let them ( ☺️). They even tried to help us clean up but we wouldn’t let them. They did a phenomenal job during the baby shower ! And most guests told us it was the best baby shower they had ever been to! And some had never been to Chris’s and they said the food was delicious! Thank you Chris’s for making my son and Lindsey’s Baby shower Wonderful !

Let me start by saying this if you plan to have a large party here be aware!! I decided to plan my 40th Birthday party here since I wanted an elegant setting, I chose Chris, now I've been here before when my husband and I celebrated our anniversary, That was always a pleasant experience but I believe they were under a different management or Owner at the time. Let me tell you!! they made this They made my birthday experience Horrible and believe me when I say I will never come here again. First, the fact that I had to confirm my "reservation" about 4 times from August- September is unacceptable and very unorganized. As much as I wanted to change the location the invite where already sent out and I did not want to confuse my guest with multiple invites. 2. I planned to rent out the room Angus to be exact, but since they do not rent out rooms due to high traffic on Fridays and Saturday I was told just to make a reservation which I did in August just to make sure my table of 17 would be ready. I started receiving phone calls back-to-back about a contract which I thought was odd since it was just a reservation- meaning my party would sit among other guests and not by ourselves. To me the contract should have been valid if I had paid the $200 fee for the room that my guest and I would occupy so I assumed they wanted me to sign the paper they gave me just to keep records of who's attending which I did "twice" if the guest list needed to be updated. PLEASE UNDERSTAND if your guests are no shows they will charge you a fee of $53.00 per seat unoccupied for a reservation!!!. How do I know, Yes they tried to charge me for their mistake I updated my guest list on Thursday the party was Saturday but the receptionist forgot to update it!! 3. This new owner or manager is extremely rude and my guest took this situation as racial profiling. Reasons Number 1 I was told no balloons but the white party next to us was celebrating someone's 60th birthday party since balloons were present. 2 they gave them the middle table and put us in the corner towards the wall. Some of my guests food were cold. The steak was not done properly and Hard. The greens taste like the came straight out the ground no seasoning. For the price crackers and cheese mixed with sour cream is unacceptable. So over priced low quality food!! And the fact that yall put both parties in one room while the Angus room was Unoccupied is crazy. I guess you weren't that busy after all and it shows. The waiters we had no issues with they where very nice and understanding. But the owner I have nothing nice to say PERIOD!!! Overall 10 out of 10 I Do Not Recommend Read the reviews on 1 Star rating is clear they do this alot. And some experienced some Racism. I should have read the 1 star review but this was a lesson learned...

Highly discourage anyone from coming here. The food is average at best. The service is the real kicker. The managers and owner are very very rude. Didn’t give me the time of day when I went to have a conversation with them, mind you the place was empty. Then they pretty much told me without telling me that they had better things to do, than provide a decent service to customers. Awful place. Run down. Go somewhere else. If you own the place you should be at least decent to anyone that’s being nice to you.

The food, atmosphere, and service were all fantastic—we had a wonderful time. The cheese and crackers appetizer threw me off a bit; I was anticipating bread while we waited to order, but it seemed to be a hit with others, including my husband, who loved it. Personally, I’m not a fan of cheese and crackers, so it wasn’t my thing. I also found it a bit overpriced. We visited the Arizona Steakhouse in Atlanta, and the experience was nearly identical—same great ambiance and quality—yet this place cost more, and I couldn’t pinpoint why, as I’d have happily paid extra at Arizona’s. That said, this is hands down the best steakhouse in the area, perfect for a date or anniversary. Just be prepared to spend over $200.

All in all a nice place to grab dinner with friends, family or even by yourself. I called ahead to see how busy it was before heading there and the person who answered the phone was very stern and did not sound friendly. Upon arrival I was greeted by the host who did not come across as all that welcoming or friendly. It may have just been a bad day, but I have frequented Chris's multiple times over the past 20+ years and this person never seems super happy to be there. Once seated, Isabelle greeted me and was friendly, but guarded. She did not introduce herself and was not very talkative (she was very straight to the point/matter of fact). If it was busy, I would have understood not chatting a bit, but she stated they were not very busy. Isabelle did do a really good job overall, ensuring my drinks and food were brought out promptly. Just no small talk. I was disappointed the bar did not have all of the ingredients for the dessert cocktail that I hoped for, but I understand the Grasshopper is more of a northern supper club thing and we are in the South. If I remember correctly, Isabelle said the bar told her they did not stock crème de menthe. Overall, I was happy with my experience. The restaurant has a nice "old school" vibe and the food is always yummy. I will admit I'm not a "traditional" steak fan (I prefer their House Chopped Steak), but the atmosphere plus the cheese and crackers brings me back everytime. Sidenote: I miss the cracker breadsticks vs. the current crackers. It may be the Mandela Effect, but I swear they used to have the assorted cracker breadsticks instead of the current selection of crackers. For the greater Fayettevile area, Chris's is a very nice restaurant with a really good reputation for quality food and service. Compared to the chain places, it has more of a family establishment feel. The prices are not the most affordable, but who goes to a steakhouse for a cheap meal... Chris's is still one of my favorite places to eat in the area. Thank you for another relaxing meal after a long day at work. See you next time. 🙂

Just go to Texas Roadhouse instead. I just left here after a birthday steak meal and it was over cooked, tasted terribly bland, the twice baked potato was super dry without any extra toppings, and green beans were just blah. The cheese-wiz and crackers were okay. This would take you working 2 to 5 hours in order to compensate for a single meal. Overall, it was more expensive and way less delicious than any Texas Roadhouse meal and Ruby Tuesday's T-Bone steak. At least at Ruby's you can have tons of ingredients for your salad at their salad bar. Seriously, this place is super expensive with the meal options of a crappy backwoods restaurant. Don't waste your time at this place.

I’ve dined here twice & both times have been amazing. The service is always quick & the staff is so polite & attentive. The food is awesome. They start you off w/ crackers & a tasty cheez whiz. They offer either a soup or house salad prior to getting your main dish. I got a Top Sirloin w/ a baked sweet potato. So flavorful! The dinner rolls are also amazing (important…lol). The atmosphere is very nice. Each table is set with a white tablecloth & the decorations are beautiful.

First time visiting at the recommendation of a friend. Came on a Wednesday close to opening time and we were immediately seated by the hostess. Our waitress immediately took our drink orders and never let our glasses get close to empty. I ordered the ribeye and sweet potato and a Greek salad. The steak was perfectly medium-rare and had excellent flavor with no need for sauce. The sweet potato came with house-made cinnamon butter which was outstanding. The manager came by to check on us and he seemed sincere and attentive. I will definitely be back.

We went for our anniversary and it was lovely. Not my favorite steaks we had but it was tasty. I was pleased overall. The dessert was the best part.

Birthday Dinner Perfection. Someone recently asked me what was one of my best steak meal experiences, and this is now one of them. We arrived just before our reservation time and were seated immediately. The restaurant is warm and has a cozy feeling to it. Having been in business since the 60's I expected that it must be amazing, and I was not disappointed. Our server was friendly and super-efficient. The timing of the courses was on point, and I was brought a new glass of prosecco each time I needed one. The first thing to come to the table is the cheese and crackers. I had read about this but when it came, I still didn't really know how to feel about it. It is a glob of cheese spread on a small plate, served with a basket of crackers in wrappers. We tried it, it wasn't bad, but we didn't eat much. Next was the calamari appetizer. They were good for the most part, some were on the chewy side. We both next enjoyed the broccoli cheddar soup, as well as a house salad for me. The soup was creamy with nice large pieces of broccoli in it. The salad was a miss for me, the lettuce was a little wilty and the veggies didn't have a fresh crunch to them. I was ok to set that to the side and wait for the main course. Our server did come over to let us know that there were 20 or more steaks on the grill ahead of ours and that it might be a long wait. She asked me did I want to keep the salad just to have something to snack on. This made me nervous. We did wait about 25 minutes for the steaks to come out, but it was well worth it in my opinion. I had ordered a NY strip, cooked medium rare, with a side of broiled scallops and a bearnaise sauce on the side. The steak was cooked immaculately, with a nice char, great flavor from the grill and the perfect amount of pink in the center for my liking. I had a twice baked potato, that was lacking a little, but I almost didn't care. The scallops were ok. They are using really small scallops, and they were cooked a little too much. The bearnaise was decadent and perfect. Also, at the time of our entrees being delivered, we got a basket with two rolls that she said were fresh out of the oven, but i never tried them. I again, cannot say enough good things about the steak. The dessert tray came out last, and we chose cake to come home with us. I enjoyed the chocolate cake later on in the evening and it was delicious. Overall great meal and experience. It is on the pricy side, but we also chose many items and add ons. I think it was worth it for the meal we had.

Chris's... I've read mixed reviews for years, and here's mine...after my first and last visit. We were the first to arrive for dinner and seated at a nice table. Then, group after group was placed right next to us, despite the restaurant being large and mostly empty. Within minutes, we were packed in one section, shoulder to shoulder. The noise level? Anything but intimate. If this was due to limited servers, I might understand, but I counted at least four working. Now, let's talk food and service. Our server brought out crackers and cheese spread. Crackers?! The individually wrapped kind I used to pack in my kids' lunches. That's not how a higher-end restaurant makes a first impression. I asked for a soda with no fruit. It arrived with lemon. When choosing between soup or salad, you get a "house salad"--no other options. It was a sad mix of iceberg and spring mix--clearly a filler blend. No quality greens, no creativity, and no chance to upgrade. I ordered the $41 NY Strip. While it was cooked medium rare, it was completely tasteless and grainy. I wanted to ask for A1,never a good sign. Couldn't even find the right angle to cut it cleanly. This was not a good steak. I asked for a sweet potato and got a regular one. Requested cinnamon...she brought what looked like cinnamon but turned out to be nutmeg, ruining the potato entirely. At that point, I was done. This place couldn't get a single thing right. I will never return or recommend this restaurant. Honestly, I'm shocked it's still in business

Went with a friend to this place. It was probably one of the nicer steak houses I've been too. Food was excellent. I got the prime rib, and it melt in my mouth. Salad was good. Service was good. The cheese and crackers were different, not a complaint, just something different. Cheese spread was a nice taste. Very clean.if I'm back in the area with my wife we will definitely visit.

Had the opportunity to dine here for a work dinner last month. Well had a large group, so we were in the banquet room. It was very nice and large room for our group. We also had 2 servers for our group. Started off crab cakes and stuff mushrooms. Both were nice, hot and fresh. We then had a salad with house made dressing. The dressing was in a nice "chilled" serving container. Nothing special about the salad, but it was fresh. The 8oz ribeye cooked "medium" was perfect. Charred nicely, on a nice warm metal serving plate. The baked potato was dry (the only let down) and seemed to be over cooked. I had a side of grilled shrimp with my steak and they were equally delicious. Lightly seasoned and not too spicy for me. I'm sure you could have them with more seasoning. We had the chocolate cake to-go. Nothing super special about the cake. But a nice finish to a great meal, but for the cost of this meal, everything should be hot, fresh and tasty. This meals comes with w hefty price tag, but worth it for a birthday, celebrate or anniversary meal!

Been here once and I wouldn't recommend this place. Asked the server if they had Icewine because my wife loves that stuff, but the server laughed and said he could put ice in the wine we order...not sure if that was a jest or he was trying to be accommodating, besides that he was pretty attentive. The food wasn't great, steak was mediocre and lacking flavor, nothing to write home about. But their stuff mushroom was nasty as if it was microwaved up, we couldn't even finish one piece. It's like they just bought it from across the street at Harris Teether and just heated them up. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

The service was great. My top sirloin was perfectly cooked and delicious. Twice baked potatoe was okay nothing to rave about. The fried calamari appetizer typical frozen restaurant stuff sauce was weird. The side of scallops for $15 extra was pathetic 5 tiny scallops tasted and had the texture of frozen scallops put directly on the grill to sear no taste whatsoever. My pear Collins was delicious. This would have been a good place to eat if the price met the quality 3 people$200 was not worth it. The weirdest part was the glob of cheese wìz and saltine crackers at the beginning of the meal

I had done some research on this place a while back looking for a Christmas gift certificates and saw it was pretty good. Finally got to visit it! Very cool décor. Nice atmosphere with dining area and a big bar area. Noticed outside seating too for when the weather is nice Others have noted the cheese and crackers. I thought given that they are a higher end steak house this was a bit strange however the cheese was good. We started with meatballs and stuffed mushrooms. Meatballs were awesome! Great red sauce and flavor in the meat. The mushrooms were ok. Seemed to lack a little flavor. We then moved on to the wedge salad. Great flavors. Just the right amount of dressing and lots of bacon! Then Deb and I split the Ribeye. It was cooked perfectly. Good flavors. Delicious. The side of onion rings were great too. Nice and crispy. The service was great. Food was brought out in good time. Overall a good experience

Wow! There's a reason this place has been around for nearly 6 decades! Food, service, ambience- all excellent! My dining partner and I arrived without reservations, but since there were only 2 of us, we were seated very quickly at a comfortable spot. While the place was buzzing, it wasn't packed. Our server Ashley brought us menus and let us look over the menu, we both ordered beers to start, which were brought with cheese dip and wrapped crackers and breadsticks- not necessarily 5-star, but very old school and much enjoyed- You can't go wrong with Captain's Wafers! I ordered a Shrimp Cocktail, and a NY Strip with a baked potato and I upgraded to a Wedge Salad. I love a good, old school Wedge, and this one was delicious. Shrimp cocktail was good as well, the cocktail sauce had a perfect horseradish bite to it. My steak arrived on a sizzling steel platter, cooked to absolute perfection- I always orde my steak Medium Rare Plus- and they got it right. Plus it was a very nice cut of meat. I shared a nice bottle of wine with my dining partner. Our server Ashley was friendly and funny, and helped make our visit perfect. We were both too full for dessert, but we were pleasantly satiated and didn't need it anyway. I love this place- old school, but not pretentious, comfortable and not stuffy. If I lived in Fayetteville, I would be here often.

Came to Chris' seeking a high end steakhouse experience and left feeling quite disappointed. All around the experience was lacking on the fine dining details that are needed from a white table cloth steakhouse. My partner and I grabbed drinks in the bar before sitting down for dinner at our table. Our cocktails were good but the service was slow. The hostess was extremely rude as she escorted us to our table. The environment is very dated, hasn't been updated in years. Our server took some time to great us and started by informing us that the restaurant was out of several things including salad dressing and fresh bread. The bread that was brought out was a joke, I honestly think they brought us cheese wiz! Our steaks were definitely not PRIME, they were likely Choice beef. Nothing about our food, service or experience screamed fine dining but was really disappointing given that Fayetteville really doesn't have many options for a nice fine dining place. I hope to see some serious improvements from Chris'!

This white table cloth "upscale" steakhouse is a IHOP in disguise. First impressions are everything and when the first food you see is left over on your fork from the person before you then you know you are about to spend way to much money and be mad, and hungry when you leave. The vibe is Ruth Chris but the quality is Ruthless Chris. From the wrapped crackers to the butter and sour cream pre packaged it's everything you would expect from a late night drunken binge at a Waffle House or IHOP. Only not good. For 30 to 50 dollar steaks you would expect freshly grated cheese and cracked pepper. Be prepared for Walmart bag cheese and a salad you would get at any local cafeteria. It's a hoax.

The service was just ok, at best. The food was unsatisfactory. To serve captains wafer crackers and a gob of cheese as a complimentary appetizer is in poor taste with such a high dollar menu. The calamari was sitting in a plate of grease. The salad was withered. My prime rib was unrecognizable, had to send it back. On top of all this there was a fly in the restaurant. We had to fight to keep him from landing on our food. I do not recommend, and I won't be returning!

Where do I even begin? I've heard good things about Chris's and we've lived here almost 3 years and are PCSing next month. It was our anniversary so we made a reservation which, surprisingly, was super easy to get... now I understand why. We rolled in at 5pm, just as the doors were opening. The inside is cool, very dark and intimate. Rich colored woods, oriental rugs, a wine cabinet, etc. We stood in the entranceway for maybe 5 minutes before the hostess even bothered to look at us. She was an elderly lady and, honestly, just looked at us like we were bugs. My husband went over to tell her we had a reservation and she shut him down. She told him to 'take a seat' and that she would be with us in a few minutes. However, an elderly gentleman came in behind us and she greeted him exuberantly and told him his table was ready for him. I get that we are younger and heavily tattooed, but we even looked up the fucking dress code for this restaurant and were super polite. The hostess didn't say anything to us until another server came over and was like, do you guys have a reservation? Then went and told her about it. So, off to a rocky start. No matter, our server was fantastic. Her name was Jennifer and she was so friendly and helpful. She brought us drink menus right away. My husband ordered their seasonal version of the old fashioned and I got a glass of wine. The weird part about this 'upscale' restaurant is that they bring you a blob of cheese wiz and individually wrapped crackers as your bread basket. It was actually kinda disgusting, but also reminded me of a childhood snack. Absolutely not what I would serve at the oldest steakhouse in town, but to each their own. Anyway, our drinks were good, so we ordered food. I chose the fried flounder, twice baked potato, and salad with Italian dressing. My husband got a NY strip, potato soup, and a baked sweet potato. We started with the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. Our server brought out the mushrooms, followed shortly by our soup and salad. The mushrooms were very bland. Everything was the same, mushy texture. You couldn't taste the crab. I think they put bell pepper in their stuffing? And topped it with cheddar cheese. Now, I'm not expert, but I've never received these two items in my stuff mushrooms before. The salad was basically bagged iceberg lettuce, three cherry tomatoes, giant slices of cucumber, and a bunch of cheese on top. Oh yeah, one slice of French bread, with what tasted like garlic salt, was sitting on top. The Italian dressing was nothing to write home about. My husband's soup, however was not bad. Then came our entrées. My flounder seemed greasy and had the skin left on one side. Is that normal? Fancy? I've never had a piece of friend flounder with skin on one side before. Maybe some other kind of fish, but definitely not flounder. My potato looked like it had been sitting and had this sort of skin over top of it as well. My husband's steak was actually cooked to his liking, but, the piece he let me try, I had to politely spit in my napkin. It was so fatty that it was like chewing steak flavored gum. They also slapped two giant onion rings on top. I tried on because he doesn't like onions. They didn't taste like anything. His potato was supposed to come with butter and spices, but was totally underseasoned. The best part about our meal was the actual bread basket. It had two warm rolls inside and I'm guessing they were baked somewhere else! The manager came by and asked if everything was good. He could tell we weren't ecstatic and asked if there was anything he could do to help, but I honestly don't know what he could have done, so we said no. After choking down such a sub-par meal, our waitress asked if we had room for dessert. We actually told her we weren't super thrilled with our food and she promised dessert would be better. We ended up getting a slice of lemon cake. She didn't lie, it was pretty good. Also something that I can see being bought frozen, thawed, and served. I seriously doubt, by the selection anyway, that they have an actual pastry chef who made all their desserts that day. All in all, we were pretty disappointed. I gave 2 stars, 1 being purely for our waitress' spirit. We won't be back. Save yourself the trip.

Best steak I have ever had! My meal and my entire party's meals were cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable. My family was there for New Years Eve dinner and the restaurant was busy beyond belief; however, our appetizers were delivered quickly and entrees weren't far behind. I could not believe how amazingly smooth the food service was for the staff on New Year's Eve. In addition, the ambiance was very relaxing and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. Chris's Steakhouse is a MUST TRY! I plan to dine there again soon. Thanks for a great experience and amazing customer service.

First time visiting on the recommendation of a friend. Came on a Wednesday close to opening time. We were seated immediately by a friendly hostess, and greeted at our table by our very informative waitress. To start off, we didn't have to wait at all for our drink order and our glasses never reached empty due to the attentiveness of our waitress. I ordered the 12oz Ribeye with sweet potato and a Greek salad. Steak was cooked perfectly medium-tare, excellent flavor with no need for any sauce. Sweet potato was super soft and delicious, perfectly cooked through but not burnt. My parents both got the prime rib which they said was excellent as well. From the service to the food, we were very impressed and will certainly be back!

I'm visiting the area and read alot of positive reviews about this place. I ordered a prime rib, medium rare. After about 15-20 minutes later my waitress (who did a great job in taking care of my order) brought me an over cooked on the outside and a cold centered steak. I spoke to the waitress and told her my concern and she took care of it right away. But about 2 minutes later she came back with a steak that was literally raw. There was blood all over the plate, the fat on the side that was clear and see through that it didn't even seem to touch the grill. At this point I just paid for my overcooked and under cooked meal.

I grew up in Fayetteville and our family would go to Chris' for anniversaries and other special celebrations. about 2 years ago my sisters and I started taking our mom back to Chris' (2-3 times a year) to enjoy memories and celebrate family. it was the only choice to celebrate mom's 80th birthday this week. we were so disappointed! my mom's steak was tough, the broccoli was cold and half of the sides/salads were not available (but still on the menu). one of Chris' signature touches, the home made onion ring was even missing. Some of us went to the bathroom while there and tripped over multiple loose tiles in the ladies room. A simple tube of caulk or grout could fix this and potentially save someone from getting injured. I am quite worried that this Fayetteville landmark may be beyond saving.

Chris's is one of Fayetteville's foodie gems! We had a group of 5 and everyone was beyond pleased with their meals. The blackened grouper and bone in filets were exceptional and I almost cried tears of joy when I tried the salted caramel cake. Our server was flawless and made the meal even more enjoyable. This place is a must stop every time we come to Fayetteville now!

Not bad considering there are only a handful of fine dining locations in Fayetteville. Positive: 1. Entrees were delicious 2. Nice ambiance Negative: cheese and crackers tasted like cheez wiz sxooped on a plate with an ice cream scoop amd a basket of different crackers and breadsticks (no not hot fresh bread sticks, packaged small hard crackers labeled breadsticks) 3. Rolls looked like yeast rolls but tasted like biscuits (cracker barrel biscuits are better) and they were cold 4. Rude upon qalking in. No greeting. We stood there for a while then decided to sit down and talk amongst one another until hostess finally said ill be with you. 139.00 spent for less than perfect service and tastebuds okk. Better atmosphere and food. I would not recommend to a friend

if i could give half a star i would, the only thing good here is the sealed crackers, the steaks don't have flavor, lamb taste like they put the whole jar of salt, the lettuce in salad taste sour and old. being from cali and seen the pictures online i expected more. Texas Roadhouse steaks are more flavorful especially for price.

They may do better with a smaller party. It took a long to get my soda. It took a long time to get our bill, then it took a long time for her to pick up the bill then it took a long time to return my card. I wonder if you're treated differently when the 18% tip is built into the check. They never came to see if we needed anything or to make sure we were good. The food was good, the second potato was hot. I'm not sure about the cheese and crackers they serve, not fancy crackers just regular crackers. The rolls were the absolute best part of the dinner. The broiled seafood platter good but not $40 good 3 decent sized shrimp, average size fish and 6 average sized scallops the green beans were really good.

Avoid this place service is trash or maybe they racist. Interracial couple gets seated waits 15 minutes for a server to come by the table (never comes) However , white man that comes in after us instantly gets services while we are just sitting there waiting

Omg...I got surprised by my friend. He took me to do my nails and then he acted like we were gonna go home ...but he parked in the restaurant parking. Totally not dressed for the occasion...but the staff told us not to worry. I felt totally undersressed like I mentioned the restaurant was beautifully designed and decorated. We were seated and our waiter Nilo was awesome. He was very helpful and everything was delivered hot and in a timely manner. I felt very comfortable and the food was excellent! I had broiled shrimp and my friend had steak and lobster. Even my salad was delicious. I have nothing bad to say about the place.

We stopped by to order takeout after work and were were very pleased with Chris's. It was our first time there but definitely will not be our last! Hailey took our order and she made sure that our takeout experience was just like a dine-in. She thought of everything that we needed for a complete meal. The food didn't take long at all, we sat on a bench and waited inside for it. We watched as every staff member we saw interacted with patrons as if they were family, and they were all very friendly and professional. Our sirloins were perfectly seasoned and cooked as requested. We have no complaints about our meal or experience at Chris's. We will return for a dine-in date really soon!

Service was awesome, and the steak was amazing. Unfortunately the shrimp cocktail was really expensive and was very tasteless.

Neg 1 if I could . Cheapest thing on the menu was $33 . We sit down and where greeted with cheese wiz and Walmart breadsticks. My filet was a leather hockey puck . I couldn't tell if it was a sirloin or filet or the bottom of my shoe . The onion rings were nice and thankful for the 2 pieces of bread that came with meal because that was dinner and I was hungry. I returned my hockey puck my husband ate his dinner and we left . I'll never go back even it was free . Good luck with your cheese wiz and Walmart bread sticks .

Came here for my wife's birthday with some of her friends . We enjoyed the food. I had the sirloin steak, potato soup & asparagus; everything was really good. My wife had the filet mignon which was great, she said the calamari was good and her mushroom appetizer was ok. There wasn't anything on the appetizer list that I wanted, I'm more of a sports bar type of person. The cheese & crackers were good too. The waitress was awesome - thank you Racquel! Overall good dining experience, but I'll probably stick with somewhere a little cheaper next time.

First time dinning here (on my foodie bucket list for Fayetteville:) ) Little worried pulling into full parking lot with no reservations but got seated quickly (TIP make reservations) everyone wad very nice and friendly. We ordered the fried calamari and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers. Calamari was GREAT ! But mushrooms tasted like they took some kind of mixture and made it into a meatball form and placed it on the mushrooms (we didn't like it) we received the complimentary cheese and crackers. The taste was familiar to me until hubby nailed it and said it tastes like that cheese you get when your little on the snack packs with the little red stick to spread on the crackers. Our main meal was wonderful and filing. I can't wait to go back again.

Great service, tasty food and impressive wine list. There's not much more to add to describe my overall experience on my first visit to Chris's Steak and Seafood. I noticed that the salad bar was a popular feature there so I plan to skip my 'add-on' salad next visit and make a round like others around me did this time. Also, while my steak was done well and seasoned perfectly, I decided I would switch to a Seafood option next visit too. Our family moves to the area later this summer. I look forward to making return visits when we land for good.

Came here for a business dinner. I got the cream of chicken soup and crab cakes and it was delicious. Waiter Nelo was so nice and polite!

Loved everything about this place with the exception of the moldy smell that hits you when you walk in.

Can't go wrong! Best steak house in Fayetteville- hands down! At Chris's, you get quality meet at a fair market price and the drinks are poured with professionalism and care!! Every time we go we like to sit in the bar area as it's more people friendly and there is something about a good steak, a 3 finger Bourbon and good conversation... Everyone who works there is Great!!

This is my ABSOLUTE favorite restaurant in Fayetteville, NC. No matter how many times that I come here, the service is just as superb as the food. You simply cannot go wrong with any item on the menu. No other steakhouse comes close, HANDS DOWN! For a close competitor, you'd have to go to Raleigh or Charlotte!

If I could give ZERO stars, I would do so ! Ordered take out in person. Waitress was friendly , hostess was very condescending! Food was less than mediocre and horribly overpriced. I contacted management and was " chastised " for complaining ! Food pictured below cost $38

Well, I call ahead so I didn't have to wait so the lady said that it was not necessary. Our first time here so I decided to come with the kiddos. Our first impression was upscale people and place...ok let see how's the food. I really have respect for our elderly but grandmas should stay at home with the grandkids, especially the hostess, not very friendly with children and have no customer experience at all. That set the tone for what was coming. Well, service said it otherwise We waited about 25 minutes for our table. Then waited another 10 minutes to at least get somebody to take the order. Our calamari was fatally, not recommended they are frozen and saggy/cold the guy had to bring another order which, by the way it came with the food....the same...Had to wait another 15 minutes for the glass of wine. Crazzy never had an experience in a place that was supposed to be a perfect place for a perfect night with the kids. Not this place. The steak and lobster were excellent but I can get the same quality in other places. I guess they were understaffed according to our server. Don't know if it was a vague excuse for the mediocre service that I was given, but don't think I'll be back. Sorry but not me. I guess my wife wouldn't even miss the place. My ticket was $132. The calamari was not even removed from the bill. NOT A KID-FRIENDLINESD PLACE.I gave them 2 stars since the steak and lobster were good.

Tried this place at the advice of a friend for our anniversary and this place did not disappoint. The wife ordered the 10oz Ribeye w/ mashed potatoes and I got the 14oz handcut pork chop. It was absolutely delicious and moderately priced. Our waitress Brooke was the absolute best with just the right amount of humor and seriousness. Ask for her and please do try it for yourself.

This place is definitely a must try for everyone. Today we were served by Mrs. Morgan , very lovely server and knowledgeable of the menu alongside flavors of the platters selected including dessert. I brought my family and I was able to experience an amazing environment and amazing food. I ordered the Ribeye platter 16 oz, definitely you can taste the difference amongst other steakhouses in the area.

Very pricey, restaurant is weird inside. Classic Texas IDk. Food was ok. Nothing I would go back for.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with dinner at Chris's and it did not disappoint. The steak was cooked perfectly and the service was excellent. Bobbi our server was great. The cheesecake was to die for!

I don't know what to say that is any different than what other reviewers have previously indicated. The food is off the chain at reasonable prices. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. I had the 22oz T-bone, which was cooked to perfection with some steak fries. I wanted to gnaw the bone but you have to mind your manners in a place like this. My buddy had a sirloin that he said was very, very good. The manager stopped by to personally ask about our experience. Run, don't walk to Chris's

Great Steak especially with Greek Seasonings. Twice cooked potatoes not so good, BLAH. Pie was Good. We got the Dinner fir 2, comes with 2 sides, plus tea or coffee & pie. A little pricey, but it was Good ; quantity for what you pay for was pretty well equal. Service was Great! She kept checking. We were there for 3 hrs. So no rush for the special occasion. They were very busy.

Was literally served spray cheese and stale crackers from a 7/11. We waited 45mins just to be seated at the BAR. After being given the wrong drink 4 times and waiting another 30MINS they finally took our order that came out after another 40mins. The $36 medium rare steaks came out well done and missing the sides... how do you not notice no sides???? On top of all that we overheard the waitresses talking smack about half the people that were seated. The food was very mid tier pretty much on par with Texas Roadhouse without good rolls and garbage service while being quadruple the price. Save your time and money. Go to Texas road house even if there's a wait. Don't be like me and end up in the purgatory that Is Chris's steak and seafood because you thought it was in anyway a better option than Texas Roadhouse

Tuesday 5pm I am normally not a fan of steak houses, but if there is scallop on the menu I am game! We arrived as the restaurant opened and I was afraid I might get kicked out because of my flip flops but I didn't. There is a dress code, people! I'm reading on yelp that the place was probably fancy back in the day, but I thought it was fancy enough for current times. Within 30 minutes the place was quickly filling up. - Salad bar left something to be desired. I was hoping for a Souplantation type of salad bar. I would recommend an easy caesar salad in the salad bar so I don't actually have to muddle through some not so tasty salad combinations of my own creation. If the sauces were labeled I did not see them. + Fresh broiled scallops ($18.99) for 6 juicy scallops! I find that to be a steal. The last time I had scallops this good each scallop was going for $10. It's marinated in what tastes like a ton of butter - delicious butter - and the broccoli side I ordered was perfect for sopping up the extra butter sauce. + Fried mac and cheese ($4) didn't have much taste next to the scallops and salad. However they were phenomenal when brought home and reheated. Would I come back? You bet! Those scallops are calling my name!

Amazing service and great food. We had my mom's retirement party there in a banquet room. Connie was amazing to work with. She went above and beyond. She even printed menus out in special paper to match our theme. Everyone there was great!

Guess you can't get a table here unless you have a reservation. They definitely cater too local / repeat customers & big parties. So if your looking to walk in & get a table put your name of a waiting list & wait & wait. Too bad maybe instead of taking so many reservations you could get to that other list of everyone else waiting & waiting.
