I had the pleasure of trying Georgia’s and I can tell you that the atmosphere and service was on point I was greeted with some great service, now let’s talk food: the fish was amazing however the portion size was super small should had said a sample size, the chicken was okay not on a high list for me, but the sides failed for me I ordered the mashed potatoes and gravy the brown one and the gravy messed up the side as it was not to my liking not sure how you can go wrong with a gravy but this one was a fail. The greens also had an odd taste so definitely don’t recommend those two sides. I finished off with the small side of dessert the sweet breads that are powered that’s was tasty fluffy and delicious they are so mall you might want to order the size 5 or more I just got the 2. Overall I would come for the environment and fish and desserts with their great customer service…..

Today we ordered for pick up and the shrimp and grits that was packed was disproportionately prepared and not what I’m used to getting. For reference, I’ve added photos of the shrimp and grits from previous reviews — this is the preparation I’m used to receiving. Then, I’ve added my personal photo and video of the order I got today — absolutely plain, lacking flavor, seasoning, and color. No matter how much I mixed it, there was nothing within the grits itself. Upon calling the restaurant, the manager we spoke too had tried to explain to me that’s how it’s served because “it’s shrimp over grits” and I really had a difficult time making her understand how it’s not normally how we’ve received it in the past and I tried to kindly ask if there was a way to just pick up another one in replacement but that idea wasn’t really entertained and my request felt ignored; she immediately suggested getting a refund through DoorDash (except we ordered on their website). When services don’t acknowledge or try to resolve an issue, that to me suggests customer service doesn’t matter and that’s fine, it is what it is.

This restaurant is a gem! I had the fried chicken with rice and corn on the cob—so good! The peach sangria was amazing, too. My husband got the tri-tip sandwich, and wow, it was the best we’ve ever had! The cornbread appetizer was delicious. The manager and employees were all amazing—so friendly and welcoming. Perfect comfort food and great service!

Ordered thru Uber eats and baybee! Fire! We from the Midwest, this taste like home! I had to called the store and ask for Georgia herself and or the cook. Shout of to Dominic and the other chef! Y’all doing y’all big one! Look at her she can’t stop eating it! She wants the eat this everyday! Ordered smother pork chop, Mac, and rice with sweet potato pie!

Delicious food spot located with in the Anaheim Packing District. I got a grilled chicken sandwich which was excellent. Service was fast and there was a line waiting, so you know the food is fresh. Highly recommended.

While the food is served in more of a fast food style tray/style, the food is delicious and memorable. The atmosphere of the little nook where one would eat isn’t anything special, but the packing district itself is a little slice of magic. I had the jambalaya and it was fantastic and my wife had the tilapia and shrimp. The kids shared some red rice. Pricey, but honestly what isn’t these days? Whether the cost was worth the serving size is arguable, but I got full. Parking can be challenging at the Packing District during peak hours.

Visited last weekend for dinner and I loved the blackened chicken pasta. Was served delicious cornbread with refills when dining in. Great, very attentive service which was surprising for me in a restaurant I expected to just be fast casual style, really elevated the whole experience! Will definitely be back!

We got the recommendation to visit the Anaheim Packing District from our concierge and chose Georgia’s for our spot. The food was great but the cornbread stole and collard greens the show! The BBQ sliders were delicious and perfect portion for my daughter. The fried chicken was good but not great. The cornmeal batter was a different take on fried chicken and gave a great crunch but I think I prefer standard flour batter. Wish I could have tried more but food is filling and well portioned.

Oh wow, what can I say about Georgia's? I've eaten here a few times and have loved everything so far! My family and ai were in the area and decided this sounded great for lunch so after hunting for parking, we were in! Georgia's is at Anaheim Packing House, so parking is difficult. Not the restaurant's fault but just be advised! Staff here are great. Delicious food served with a smile! We were lucky enough to be here on their 10 year anniversary, which we weren't aware of, so we were given raffle tickets when we ordered. We didn't win anything but that's OK! On to the good stuff. I love thebpulled pork sliders; they come with coleslaw which is also delicious and refreshing. My daughter ordered the chicken tenders and fries. Fries were fine, but let's talk about those tenders!! These are the BEST chicken tenders I have had. They are seasoned so well and the chicken is tender and juicy with a crispy breading. They are perfect! We also ordered the fried green tomatoes. I'm a big fan of the flavor and they come with a side of lemon aioli to dip. I order these because I do enjoy them, but the tomatoes are cut a bit too thick and the breading doesn't stick to them so it's a bit difficult to eat them. If you can get past that, maybe with a fork and knife, these are delicious and worth it for sure. Husband loved his grilled chicken sandwich and Cole slaw. All the food was delicious as always! I can't wait to get back and try something else, though it is hard not to order the same delicious thing every time.

Okay, where do I start... my wife brought me here and I gave it a try. I ordered the fried chicken, which came with two drumsticks and a thigh. I sent it back and requested white meat. I was up charged $2 And got one breaded breast. It was good and not too bad. Not a traditional chicken breast though. My two sides were Cajun rice and grits. The rice tasted different and not Cajun and the grits were very watery. The grits looked more like cream of wheat instead. The strawberry lemonade was good and you get free refills. The cornbread tasted really good though. Next time if I come I will order something else. Perhaps they should sell rib tips.

Got the smothered pork chops which were very solid. The portions were generous and the meat was very juicy. The sauce was very rich, definitely had some bacon/drippings which made it all the more delicious. I got the collard greens which were decent, would have liked it to be a little meatier and softer, but I was decent. The black eyes peas were a bit over salted in my opinion, and decent overall but probably wouldn't get it again for next time. Overall, my expense with the pork chop, will definitely come here again and try their other dishes. Apparently they're known for their catfish, and jambalaya. Which I will have to try next time.

I took my hubby here for Father's Day which is located in the Packing District. There is valet parking available. Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded when we arrived. I order the fried catfish, collard greens, and Cajun rice. For drinks, I order a peach sangria. First the good. The collard greens were well seasoned. I like that you order at the register and can seat yourself. The dining is very casual. The Cajun rice, was lacking. Fried catfish was decent. I don't care for the cornmeal batter they use. That threw the texture off. My hubby didn't care for the fried chicken. They gave him all dark meat. He sent it back and they returned it with a boneless chicken breast. I might return an order something else. I'd give it a C plus.

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this place till now!! Although, we've only been here a handful of times, we always get the same thing because it's so hard to come by in the valley! We were in the area over the weekend and took our friends here for lunch since they've never been and were visiting! We ordered our food and found a table. We all ordered some corn bread because that's a must! They have one of the best but definitely need extra butter because they give you the tiniest serving. I always order the chicken and waffles. It is by far one of the best! Something about their chicken is pure goodness. Seasoned well, juicy, and skin is crispy! It melts right off. And the waffle is the perfect size. I feel like sometimes they can be too thick or just huge and have the tiniest piece of chicken but they make it good here! My bf gets the jambalaya and although I don't order it, I've tried it and it is delicious! Also gotta go for their unsweetened iced tea. Pairs well with everything! I definitely need to try their lemon pepper wings next time I'm here! The outdoor seating is nice but mostly for 2 people. Inside seating is limited but they have other seating inside the packing district that you can find! Great spot and wish they had a location in the SFV! IG: @ammysalamii

Enjoyed the experience overall, but the thicker cornmeal batter isn't really for me! Everything was executed well. I enjoyed the fried green tomatoes and the cornbread for sure! Order at the counter and they bring the food out. That said, service was great and they check on you throughout to make sure all is good.

So delicious and such great hospitality!! We came here right when it opened on a Saturday and ordered the Grilled Creole Shrimp and the sweet potato fries. We decided to sit at their restaurant instead of taking it to go but that was definitely the way to go because they provided us free corn bread. The shrimp was cooked really well and the rice that went with it was great. The sweet potato fries were like any other sweet potato fries but the portion size was great for the price! The server was so kind! He was constantly checking up on all the tables and even had a steak from another table he made again without any denials because the customer wasn't happy with the cook on it. Definitely give this cute, soulful place a try next time you're at the Packing House!

This place specializes in healthy American Southern comfort food. On one hand, the food feel homey and maybe even healthy since they don't over season their food. On the other hand, even for someone like me who doesn't like things overly sweet or overly salty, the food was quite plain and barely had seasonings on them. Fried Chicken 2/5 - The chicken meat was juicy, but plain. Tasted like oven baked chicken. The cornmeal crust was different but not good. The breading was dry and tough. Mac & Cheese 3/5 - Not bad but not a lot of flavor. Red Beans & Rice 3/5 - Not bad but need more flavor.

Soul food!! I came over to the Anaheim Packing District for the first time and decided that I must try Georgia's. My friend and I ordered two entrees to share. My friend chose the blackened catfish with yams and cajun rice. I chose the smothered pork chops with mac and greens. The catfish was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The pork chops and sauce tasted as amazing as it looks. The sides were all tasty, but I enjoyed the mac and cheese the most. Another reviewer was correct... there is something special in the flavoring. It was on the softer side, but delicious to me. The service was great. They checked on us several times during our meal and offered some fresh cornbread. These were super yum! Lightly crispy on the outside and moist/soft on the inside. I'm a fan!

Located in the 2nd floor of the Anaheim Packing District. I was really craving some southern comfort, especially missing the tastes that NoLa has to offer. I ended up here & chose to try their Jambalaya. Very flavorful & satisfying! They have their own closed off seating area so that was a nice plus to have that over having to circle around to find some empty seating.

For fasteraunt dining at the Anaheim Packing House, Georgia's is awesome. We came here for a quick bite before something we had going on in the area. Even though it was a busy Sunday, our meal was prepared well and quickly. There's a small dining area on the side of this location, for people not taking their food to go. While here, servers came by to check on us, drop off complimentary corn bread, and clean tables quickly as people finished their meals. PROPS: Great southern food, prepared quickly. SLOPS: Packing House can get very busy.

This was my second visit to Georgia's. My first visit was under a month ago. My sister was in town and she looked at all of the restaurants, before agreeing with me that this was the most appealing. She had the jambalaya and I had the smothered pork chops with garlic rice and collard greens. It was filling and came with free cornbread for the table. That was a nice touch. The strawberry lemonade was good too. I have to space out my visits for dietary reasons, but the flavor is amazing! I was stuffed and couldn't finish.

Brought my friends to the Packing District to try something new. We ordered chili cheese fries to share. They were pretty delicious. Not my favorite chili for fries but it was pretty tasty and definitely enough to share. We also got some bbq sliders to share. Very flavorful and a good option for sharing with the 3 of us.

This place was a hit. Knew it would be when we saw the line. We were greeted at the counter service with a smile. Informative gentleman helped our orders. The shrimp basket was the favorite of the table. The batter is magical. 10/10 Staff was super friendly too.

SO good!! I was surprised at how good this food was. Everything was fresh and so flavorful. I didn't take a picture of the grits I ate but they were also delicious. The staff was friendly and gave their recommendations since we hadn't been here before. It was more expensive than I expected but I'd still come again!

It's been several years since I've been to the Anaheim Packing House, so eating dinner here with friends was refreshing. Luckily, we didn't have trouble finding a table at 7:45 pm on Black Friday. While exploring the food court, I glanced at Georgia's Restaurant and saw no line. I ordered takeout fried catfish due to a fond memory of eating it once as a kid on vacation.   From the "plate-up" section, the fried catfish ($19.95) came with two sides: Cajun rice ($1) and mac & cheese ($1). For the portion size and the sides' surcharges, the meal was pricey. While I thoroughly enjoyed my food and got full after an empty stomach, I'd revisit rather to try out their menu specialties, such as the blackened chicken pasta or gumbo.   The fried catfish was deliciously crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It tasted lovely with their requested warm BBQ sauce straight out of the kitchen. The Cajun rice was flavorful with a pleasant spice. The mac & cheese was adequate but had a relatively small portion size. The cashier also gave me a relatively big cup of cold water, which I appreciated.   I enjoyed my time at the Anaheim Packing House. When we entered, they had a band playing classic rock music. Diverse businesses sell here which makes revisiting fun. Each restaurant also has their own of letting you know your food is ready. At Georgia's, I gave my phone number and received a text just after 11 minutes to pick up my food. Customers can also eat at Georgia's exclusive tables to receive service and plated food. By the time we finished our food, the band had finished and more tables became vacant.   Travel note: People can reach the Anaheim Packing House when taking OCTA bus route 47 to the Anaheim-Santa Ana stop. Thanks to an Instagram tip, I easily parked for free at the Anaheim Civic Center parking garage, a 7-minute walk away. However, had I not met my friend at the parking garage, I would've walked alone on E. Broadway and S. Anaheim Blvd because there was little foot traffic.

idk what happened. Could've swore I enjoyed this place before but the love was not there in the food today. Fries were cold and mostly undercooked. Cornbread was also undercooked-75% done, top still had wet batter. Catfish was whatever Mac tasted somewhere between kfc Mac and Chic-Fila Mac-not quite as good as the latter. But wouldn't you expect better from a restaurant and not a fast food place? I will not be returning this restaurant again.

Located inside Anaheim Packing House, is this soul food paradise! I originally went to this place because I had a giftcard, but I'm sad I haven't been sooner! It was sooo good but more importantly, the service was AMAZING!! I have never met such nice people in my life. All of the workers were truly fantastic. My partner and I decided to get a small couple of snacks since we were heading to disney later in the day. We got the cajun fries (super yummy, but not really worth $7), a side of mashed potatoes (delicious), but the main star was the chili mac! It was so good! I would definitely go back just for that. Check this place out if you're looking for a southern meal!

Always passed by this restaurant at the Packing District and finally decided to give it a try since there were a lot of seats opened. After ordering, we got complimentary corn bread and butter while we waited for our food, it tasted alright. We ordered the flat iron steak and tri tip and they were mediocre. Each entree plate came with 2 sides and these entrees were over $20 each but for the taste and what you get, it's a bit overpriced. The meats were cooked well but they were small cuts and there's no wow factor. The sides were standard too, but I liked the cajun rice the most and the garlic rice the least since it barely had any garlic flavor. Towards the end when I went to get to-go boxes, I was standing at the register waiting to be helped but the employees were just standing around in front of me and talking to each other. When I finally made eye contact, one of the guy looked away and then when I asked for help then he said he would be with me in a second. Not sure if there was a shift change or what but that is weird that no one was helping anyone when there was other people behind me waiting to order as well.

Ya'll need a taste of the south? Then you need to come eat here! While we waited for our meals they brought cute little cornbreads to the table. THANK YOU!! And then came our dishes which were all DELICIOUS. But my friends shrimp & grits...OMG, I could have stolen it from her and eaten it all up. As I was leaving I saw someone eating fried green tomatoes. Sorry for staring, but DAMN they looked amazing. We'll be back again soon.

SO and I were craving chili cheese fries again so decided to check out Georgia's to see how it holds up against The Hat. Since it was a Friday night and I'm not crazy, we just decided to pick it up for to go and avoid the hassle of finding parking. Pick up was simple. I just walked up to someone at the counter, gave my name, and they handed me my order. (Tip: you can order online in advance.) The minute I grabbed the box I felt it was pretty light. Opened it up when I got home and there was probably just a sprinkling of cheese and maybe a bit of chili. Taste was OK, but there wasn't enough of it on the fries - and definitely not enough cheese. The Hat still reigns supreme for chili cheese fries and I will still make the drive to get some.

This establishment is located in the Anaheim Packing House. Ordering food is a breeze and after ordering, you will be notified via text. 5/5 Food: Blackened Catfish: Seemed a bit bland and fishy to my liking even after squeezing some lemon on it. It was very tender though 3/5 Sides: Mac and Cheese: Mild taste of cheese. Pasta cooked very will. 3.5/5 Cajun Rice: Lightly seasoned rice with a bit of spiciness. 3.5/5 Chicken Tenders with fries: Chicken was pretty good. Crispy and had a hint of spice. 4/5

This review is about HOSPITALITY ONLY...I stopped by this spot with Family...she got food...I was FULL by now...However, one of the Founding Members of Georgia's stopped me to ask questions...Very Sweet & Very Welcoming...the kind of person that radiates love...

I've been to the packing district many times and was never really impressed. That was until I tried Georgia's. This place was so good. The food was hot and fresh. The service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The dining area was clean. The cornbread was the best I've had. We don't live in the area, but we'll definitely be back when in the area. Totally worth the trip outback there.

Now when we think of Southern comfort food, what's the first thing that pops into your head? Grits? Buttermilk biscuits? Collard greens? Did I hear you say fried chicken because that's what I thought of too. There's just something about them chickens that they do in the South that makes you want to slap yo momma because it's too finger-lickin' good. Here at Georgia's Restaurant, they brought the southern hospitality over to the West Coast. You know it's going to be good when orders come with a complimentary side of heart and soul. Mhmm, that's what you call good eatin'! I took the wifey here to check out the Anaheim Packing District for the first time. There were so many vendors to opt from. It was like we were kids in a candy store and wanted to try a little bit of everything, but too bad our wallet and stomach wouldn't be able to handle all of that in one sitting, so we ultimately chose the place that smelled the tastiest, and the vendor that has the longest waiting line, which was none other than Georgia's restaurant. We had never eaten here, but we wanted to reminiscence in a little taste of NOLA's eateries. Their menu was if not very similar to what I saw at many of the dining establishments in Louisiana: fried catfish, cornbread, shrimp & grits, Po'Boy, etc. There were just so many selections to choose from, but we wanted to try their infamous dish which was the fried chicken itself. This will give me a nostalgic feeling if I can have the taste of Southern fried chicken. The meal came with two sides, so we chose a side of Cajun fries and white rice(it's an Asian thing lol). The meal cost about $17 w/ tax and it took about 10-15 minutes to receive our order. Once we got the meal, we went over to the outdoor patio to dig into these succulent morsels. I noticed that the chicken has been coated with cornmeal crust which is not your typical fried chicken. I was skeptical at first, but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt and at least give it a try before I made my judgment on it. But when I first took a bite of the chicken, it was good but was a bit underwhelming since it didn't have that "WOW' factor I was looking for. The drumsticks were well fried, the seasoning was ok, and not as juicy as I wanted, but overall a decent piece of fried chicken. Would I order it again? Probably not. I guess I am just not used to the cornmeal since it's just not my preference. I like my batter more on the crispier side or at least a similar seasoning from KFC's original recipe. Although, I appreciate that it wasn't as oily as some other places so that's something that I would rave about. I am pretty sure they got other amazing dishes that I was there to try so I'd recommend you save your money on those other delectable treats.

Went to the Anaheim Packing District for the first time. While looking at all the food options I decided to get some food from here. I ordered a spicy crispy chicken sandwich. You could choose the level of spiciness and the sandwich itself had some good flavor. Sandwiches come with either fries or coleslaw. I got the normal fries which were nothing special. Customer service is good. The person who took my order and the guy calling out orders were both friendly.

This place was wonderful, the food was great, the environment was dynamic a nice mixture of cultural vibes as they were many different restaurants in one huge building it was like a mall for restaurants, all the food we ordered was 5 stars for sure ,the customer service was 5 stars, the only thing I can say that may need a little tightening up is the portions ,but because of inflation and the rise in minimum wage in California the portions were fair .

Got the fried chicken plate, along with the Mac'n Cheese, and collard greens for sides! Everything was truly delicious and not super salty which I was a bit worried about as always with fried chicken! It was crusted with cornmeal which was my first time encountering this and it definitely works and so so good! Cajun Fries were a nice touch to the order and definitely also hit the spot! Conveniently located on the second floor of the Anaheim Packing District with its own seating! Super delicious 10/10 in my book!

We ordered the fried catfish po' boy to share as part of a multi-course meal at the Anaheim Packing District. I could tell the catfish was real because the fishiness really came through, but not in an unpleasant way, and the tartar sauce was nice too. However, the sandwich was definitely smaller than I expected. I honestly thought the fries were better than the sandwich - thin and crispy, and they gave a good amount too. I'm giving 4 stars because I've had better fish sandwiches at a better value, but I guess that's to be expected given the location. There was a line when we got there, but it moved fast. We sat outside to eat, which was a nice environment.

Still rolling strong - Had the family all available due to being here for the holidays. Ate at Georgias in the Anaheim Packing District and still LOVE their greens and fried catfish. Crisp on the outside and moist and flakey inside. Service is always good and friendly

Loved the friendly, fast service. Creole food was excellent! I intentionally didn't order soul food because I've had it before and have a hard time not comparing everyone's soul food to my grandmother's. She was such an amazing cook! Anyway, the Creole okra gumbo and shrimp and grits were absolutely delicious. I didn't mind the creaminess of the grits at all. Both dishes had great flavor and were the perfect lunch for a busy Black Friday shopping day. The sangria 21+ was delicious as well. Very refreshing. We'll definitely be back! Can't wait till they open the location at Irvine Spectrum!

For our anniversary, we decided to come back to the Anaheim Packing District, which was where we went right after the courthouse so many years ago! This time, we tried something new - Georgia's. It did not disappoint! We had Gretchen's Jambalaya, which came with shrimp, andouille sausage, and chicken over rice. Very good - great flavors and textures. There was a hint of heat, which I welcomed. Not the quickest, but it was worth the wait!

What to say. The rice was delicious. And so were the shrimps. What more can a girl want. Carbs and seafood.

Will likely never go back... There was a group of girls in front of me while I waited in line to place my order. As I waited, the 3 ladies behind the counter continued to chitchat and laugh etc... Finally after 5+ mins, one of them acknowledged me. The other ladies waiting around were just waiting for their order. This should've been a sign to just leave but I wanted to try something new and really wanted some collard greens. Order placed and quoted 15mins for take out order. 15mins later, still waiting. While I was waiting I was able to observe the front of house operations. One of the 3 ladies chitchatting seemed like the mgr since she was handling a customer issue of what I presume was an incorrect order or bad food? There was an older gentlemen who I observed was constantly going from cleaning the dining area, to wiping down the cashier area, to even assisting customers placing orders, all while the 3 ladies continue to chitchat. How sad... Major props to the older gentlemen, you absolutely deserve a raise and deserve so much more... 20-25mins in, I'm about to go ask about my order since everyone else got their orders already and I was the only one left standing there... Well guess what... My to go order was actually ready and just sitting at the counter. Why didn't anyone call out my order or my name??? Cuz they were preoccupied chitchatting!!! The only reason why it isn't 1 star is because despite the long unnecessary wait, the food was still piping hot and the dish overall was a "healthier" Alt to fried catfish with the use of cornmeal vs flour breading. Mac n cheese felt like they used way too much flour filler and not enough cheese. It wasn't creamy, it was mushy. Collards I can't really judge since I haven't had too much southern style collards to make a culinary judgement. I will say my mom's collards are far superior (my bias opinion) I would stick with Chappy 's upstairs for my fish n chips cravings. HARD PASS on GEORGIA

Located at the Packing District, this place is on the first or lower level. They have some tables inside marked as Reserved for customers but as most places here, you can eat anywhere. Service is alright, polite but not friendly I guess. Because it's inside it is pretty loud but not bad enough you can't have a conversation, and it's casual. I ordered the Gumbo and my friend got the Gretchen's Jambalaya. Both were hearty generous portions with robust flavor. My gumbo had a good portion of meat as well as did the jambalaya. I would definitely return and try something else.

We try not to go to the packing house too often, as parking is a nightmare; but we are glad we found Georgia's. We were beyond surprised at how good the food was. There was a bit of a line on the night we went, but it moved quite fast. We ended up ordering the shrimp grits and the sweet potato pie. The shrimp and grits were amazing. Very flavorful, and we were both very surprised how much we enjoyed them. It's quite heavy but so good! We also got the sweet potato pie. The pie was a bit om the sweeter side than we are used to, but it was still good. The standout of our meal was definitely the grits. If you order your food to eat there, there is plenty of seating inside of Georgia's, compared to the rest of the packing house. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu and hope that we enjoy the other entrées as much as we enjoyed the grits.

Hand down BEST CATFISH ever! It was crunchy on outside and extremely moist inside. I got a side order of yams and mashed potatoes--that was delicious too! The Manager kept checking up on us and I was great. He brought my mom cornbread and once she finished it, he gave her two more lol! My Mom's first time here and she loves it! Like my Mom said--I am definitely coming back here :)

This is my go to place when i visit the packing district. I always order the blackened chicken pasta; it has a creamy, peppery taste with white sauce. The chicken is well made and never dry. We also never tried gumbo and this was our first time trying it! The service was amazing and the worker gave us complimentary corn bread when dining at the area. There isn't a lot of seating, but the food still tastes amazing even if you ordered for to-go. The area is less packed during the weekdays before 5 pm! absolutely never trying this type of "soul" food again because the food quality was crappy and lacking in flavor, and it reminded me of a frozen meal--they managed to burn just about every thing that was grilled

We came to Georgia's restaurant while on vacation in California. It was our last day and we had some time to spare before our flight. My family wanted to go shopping but me, my husband and daughter were tired of shopping. I found this place while searching online called Anaheim Packing House. It's really like a whole collection of different food vendors all in one. We walked around the Packing House and found Georgia's. They had a selection of soul food. We didn't want to eat anything super oily or greasy before our flight so we opted for the po boy sandwiches. While we waited we grabbed a seat. They have a small sitting area to the left of where you order. We quickly got a table and they brought our food out in no time. That shrimp po boy was one of the best I've had. It was well packed in there and everything in there complemented. It was 100 times better than the one that I had last in Hawaii. Even with the side of fries it just put the whole piece together. I'm glad that we got to stop here before our flight. It was delicious and we will definitely come back here when back in town.

All right!! This GEM in the Anaheim Packing District was so worth it. My boyfriend and I took a chance among all the options in the district since we wanted soul food -- Georgia's did not disappoint. Shrimp and grits was fantastic, came piping hot and fresh. Creamy grits flavor, happy happy! Super classic flavor, no notes. The yam fried tenders had a sweet outside (yam) and a savory inside (chicken tender). Boyfriend was mixed since it was a strange combination to him but I really loved it, especially for the fried outside. That said, I'm someone who loves fried chicken for the breading so YMMV. Slaw was standard. Large portions so we ate the cornbread as a leftover the next morning. SO GOOD with the butter!

Omgg! I'm so excited I finally found a place that makes AMAZING Shrimp & Grits! I had shrimp & grits for the first time last year and I've been hooked ever since! But the thing is there aren't to many spots close by that serve grits, much less that make it amazinggg like Georgia's! I also got to try their Mac & Cheese, Pulled Pork Sliders, and Corn Bread. I have to say that I wasn't that impressed with their Mac & Cheese (it was okay and I ate it, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary) or Cornbread (I LOVE cornbread so I was bummed that theirs was too dry for my liking). But their Pulled Pork Sliders were delish! Martin really enjoyed them too. I'm just stoked I found a spot to fill my shrimp & grits craving!

The service here was good and friendly. We sat in the patio, which was much nicer than indoor seating since the overall feel of the Anaheim Packing District is relaxing. I got the fried chicken plate with a side of seasoned vegetables (upcharge) and fries. I may have hyped myself up beforehand by looking at all the great pictures of their food, so I was pretty excited to try it. Well... I was satisfied with a decent meal, but it was not mind-blowing as I thought it'd be. That's okay, cuz the food was still good, and I'd love to try their jambalaya or sandwich next time. Anyway, I did enjoy the interesting breading around the chicken. Oh! I loved that they gave complimentary cornbread in the beginning. The seasoned vegetables are okay but not worth an upcharge. Can't go wrong with fries ever. Bottom line: I had a decent experience here and would come back to try other dishes.

Georgia's is a really good spot to eat at. I've eaten at this location twice, and the first time was to eat the gumbo which was really good. There are is a good seating area, and it's nice cause you can get other foods in this location. If your friend doesn't want some soul food, then they can grab something else. There are also a few dessert spots inside this food court area. Recently I had their Chili Mac. Usually there is free corn bread that comes with the food if you eat in, which I was looking forward to. At this location they only give you one corn bread per order, and when I had asked for another one they said they usually charge, but one of the servers just let me have another one. Which I was grateful for. At the Long Beach location they give you as much as you ask. So I was a little bummed that this place isn't unlimited corn bread. The Chili Mac was good, but there wasn't an even ratio of chili and mac and cheese. It was mostly chili with a small scoop of mac and cheese. Back to comparing to Long beach, their ratio was an even amount of chili and mac and cheese. I'd still eat here, but I'm a little bummed considering the comparison of the Long Beach location quality of how the food is served.

First time at this location but it's Georgia's if you know what to order you really can't go wrong.

Omg this was absolutely amazing! The fries where thin and crispy, the sandwich was so good and flavorful! We got lemonade as well which was good and didn't taste like just straight sugar. They had a lot of seating available and also there is more seating available in the building.

Especially love the pulled pork sandwich and the fried green tomatoes! The Mac and cheese is really good too. Service was fast--came in on Friday evening and had my food within a few minutes.

If you're looking for fried chicken at the packing house then this is the spot to go. My husband bought my family food from here and everyone was impressed. We all met up at the packing house to try different foods and Georgia's ended up being one of the best places we tried out there. We shared a family meal which was a bucket of delicious perfectly cooked fried chicken. Each piece was huge and was flavored just right. It was crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. It came with some mac n cheese that did not disappoint and a good portion of rice and beans. We also had some corn bread which I thought was okay but the honey butter sauce was heavenly. The entire thing was of good value and we had food left over to bring home.

When you approach, Georgia's looks like any other eatery in the Anaheim Packing District: walk up, order, sit and wait for them to bring it to your table. But when the food arrives, that's where the differences end. I had the fried pork chops with bacon gravy, garlic rice (nothing like Filipino garlic rice, but delicious nonetheless) and baked beans. They give you two cornbread muffins and a couple pats of butter that tastes like grandma made them. No frills, no surprises, all good eating here.
