The Levee

Good drinks cheap. A friend calls it a dive bar, but I call it a cool place to hang with friends or alone. It's not super loud, so you can hold a conversation, at the bar, in a booth, at the pool table, playing darts or a board game. Chill.

So good we went there twice during our short NYC trip. Great selection of beers, quite cheap too. Tortilla with queso is heaven. They also give complimentary cheese puffs. Music is great and vibe is cool too. Our bartenders were always kind and friendly. They also have a pool table out in the back, as well as an arcade game (this one is pretty bad tho). Great place for a few beers and chatting with friends. I would definitely go back if I ever find myself in Williamsburg again!

The Levee let me surprise my fiancé with a surprise party after our engagement with 50+ guests in attendance free of a rental charge while they were open to the public. Treated us like royalty + were so kind and accommodating. Have been going here for years and will continue to do so. Shoutout Susan Hunt for helping orchestrate!

I've been here many times but never reviewed it. This is a wonderful bar in Williamsburg. The prices are very good. It is a clean bar. It is a big space. They have a Pool Table and free Twizzlers and Cheese Puffs. They have a few snack items for sale. I don't know how they are because I've never ate them. The atmosphere is laid back. The bartender yesterday was Justin who is very welcoming and friendly. All the bartenders I've met here are very nice. The music playing is Rock or Punk Rock but it's not loud. They also have a Jukebox. Neighborhood people come here but they are very welcoming to outsiders also. I highly recommend this bar.

My favorite bar. It’s what Brooklyn was in the 2000s as I remembered it — minus me drinking. Great music, sociable staff, and PHENOMENAL deals on drinks as if they are trying to get rid of them. It also sports a pool table and dart board.

has a pool table and a cash jukebox with a good amount of new music mixed in with oldies. There are some food offerings like hot dogs, chili dog, nachos, chips and salsa, etc.

Great laidback bar with a great selection of beers and spirits! Good service too. Appreciated the complimentary cheeseballs! I didn’t try the food so I can’t really comment on it.
