Luigi’s Coal Oven Pizza on Las Olas is a must-visit if you love authentic Italian pizza. The Margherita Neapolitan pizza was absolutely amazing—truly authentic and straight out of Naples, with the perfect crust and fresh, flavorful ingredients. The Luigi Mule was also excellent and paired perfectly with the meal. The service was great overall, and the bartender Peter especially stood out—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. An all-around fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

We had diner with my family, we a table on the outside terrace, warmed up with gas heater. The service was great. Pizzas were excellent, nice a crispy dough, fresh ingredients, delicious flavour of coal oven. The restaurant is little set back from the Main Street where you find high prices restaurants. This one is much cheaper and the value for money is excellent! Certainly the best pizza place around the block….

This is the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life!! I’m not exaggerating - the crust absorbs the flavor of the coal oven and it’s perfectly crunchy and flavorful every time! I get the gluten free crust and it’s phenomenal. The Caesar dressing is homemade and definitely a must try! It’s safe to say I’m a regular here!

From start to finish Luigi’s provides an exceptional experience. The staff is top notch. Very efficient and welcoming. The pizza exceeded our expectations and we explore a lot of pizza. It is worth your time to check them out.

Nice, family run coal oven pizza resturant with friendly staff. We enjoyed the 1/2 cheese 1/2 veggie pizza.and everyone thought it was very good with a thin crust. Indoor and outdoor seating available. I would recommend giving it a try.

We were hungry after arriving in Fort Lauderdale, my husband loves Las Olas so we were driving down thinking about lunch so I was searching on Yelp. My husband saw the "coal fired pizza" at Luigi's and we pulled in. Our waiter, Peter, was personable, offering suggestions and giving us time to decide and also didn't keep bugging us. We had the grilled octopus, his rec and it was just perfect - simple with arugula and a balsamic glaze. We weren't sure about pizza, because we weren't that hungry. Peter suggested a lunch special, a personal pizza. It was PERFECT and the crust (like other reviews stated) was exceptional. Reminded me of the first pizza I had in Venice. Well done, Luigis and Peter!

Nice place for a really good pizza and food. Ask for the pizza to be well done. We also had the pear ravioli it was nice, but too much cream. Salads were good and plentiful. We sat outside because the weather was perfect, but since the parking lot is right there we smelled the fumes once in a while. Will go back only of a table away from the parking lot is available.

On our yearly trips to Fort Lauderdale we always make sure to visit Luigi’s. We start with the Caesar salad and then a pizza. They sauté their mushrooms for the pizza and they are delicious! The crust is perfectly crispy and chewy. Rosa was our server and checked on us often. Outstanding food and service!

We went to Las Olas to do a little foodie tour. Hit one spot, eat, then keep moving. The first spot, we basically ordered the whole menu, but we still weren't full. Walking around, I spotted Luigi's for the first time and put it in my mental Rolodex. Honestly, I probably never would've tried it if I'd just Googled pizza because bigger, more popular spots come up first. But walking and seeing it in person did me some justice. They let you do half‑and‑half pizza, so we got half fried eggplant parmesan on red sauce and half white truffle mushroom. I thought the truffle would win, but that eggplant parm pizza? My God. It was perfect--so good it didn't even need red pepper or extra cheese. I could've eaten a whole one by myself. The truffle side was good too, but the eggplant stole the show. We sat outside on the patio with a nice breeze, had a drink, and the waiter was great. Highly recommend--10/10.

Not great. The garlic bread was also kinda odd but okay I guess. Made me pay 4$ extra for a small side of blue cheese and they don't have ranch :( we took it to go so can't speak for the vibes here!

The best pizza in Lauderdale hands down! Ordered a large chicken and meatball pizza and the crust was ultra thin and crispy. The service was great and they have tables outside so you can enjoy the beautiful weather.

Stopped in for happy hour. Great prices on martinis and it wasn't overly crowded. You can tell that regulars are the main crowd and it was a nice friendly neighborhood vibe. There were a few things on the food menu for happy hour- I had chicken wings- but not super memorable.

I like to think I know a thing or two about pizza as a south Jersey native. This was solid pizza found in FL. We ordered online and it was ready at the scheduled pickup time I selected. I highly recommend pre booking the Riverfront Gondola Tour and picking up the pizza on the way to your ride. It was so nice and easy! The pizza is sizable. I'd say it could feed 3 hungry people per large pie. Taste was great. I enjoyed the thinner crust like a north east pie. Would definitely return. The parking lot fits about 10 cars so be mindful as I saw a lot of traffic jams. There are a ton of restaurants on Las Olas but for a good pizza, visit Luigi's!

We were expecting risen crust but it was no better than fast food chain pizzas. Server rushed everything to the point where he took out plates without bothering to ask if we are done when there was food in the plates. The salad was good. Overall very disappointed visit and will never go back.

It was a good basic pizza which has the distinct advantage of free parking on Las Olas. Service is always very good, as are the pies. The atmosphere isn't bad, either. It's a good choice.

Fabulous pizza spot located right on las olas blvd. We had a work event here of 22+ people and the staff did an excellent job. The food was quick and delicious. Loved the fresh caprese , calamari, meatballs and Caesar salad for apps. We got the tomato pie but heads up- it is just cheese pizza. We thought it was like New Jersey tomato pie. The pizza with pepperoni and sausage was also very good. Highly recommend dining on their little side patio - it was a perfect evening! They have their own parking lot. It's small but free if you're dining!

Best pizza around. I've tried just about every spot in town. If you want a thick bread like crust this place isn't for you. Fresh toppings and tasty sauce. Nice intimate setting.

Warning: Assistant Manager Secretly Increased His Own Tip I've been coming here for years, but I'll never return after what I witnessed. The food has slipped, but the real problem is the assistant manager's ethics. The bill he handed me already included a 20% gratuity. Normal,Yet when it came time to pay, I watched him walk around the restaurant with my credit card in hand before returning to the register. Right in front of me, he changed the screen, bumped his own tip to 22% instead of the 20% printed on the bill, and closed it out with a receipt that didn't require a signature. Let's be clear: this wasn't a mistake. This was deliberate theft, done in plain sight, hoping I wouldn't notice. It's not about the money -- it's about character. If he did it to me, he's almost certainly doing it to others. Be warned: double-check your bill, because the management here cannot be trusted.

Came here while on vacation for a quick bite to eat. Ordered a half pepperoni and half cheese pizza. I thought the pizza was good and the beer selection was good too. Service was great. I didn't think there was anything over the top special about the pizza but it was above average. I'd recommend!

Such a cute little spot. It felt warm and welcoming as soon as we walked in. The crowd was cheerful and lively. All of the employees were pleasant and attentive even though we arrived late as their evening was winding down. We have been here in ft Lauderdale a few days and have checked out multiple recommended restaurants and this has been our favorite meal so far. We had the calamari and pizza

Eh. I can't have dairy, so I'm always on the hunt for Vegan Pizza. This was just not it. I will also say, I had to have the Gluten free crust, and it also just wasn't it. I've had vegan cheese on a gluten free crust at other restaurant that are delicious. But this one.... Was not the one.

(January 2025) Seeing this location as I was making my way to the hotel, I made a mental note to check out the reviews and try out the pizza and food while staying in Fort Lauderdale. The reviews were glowing for this place, so I happily made my way to Luigi's Coal Oven Pizza. Once I got here for lunch, I was immediately seated, and unsurprisingly, as a single diner, was sat near the kitchen exit/entrance. After a look at the menu, I selected an 8 inch margherita pizza, fried buffalo cheese, and fried calamari with a blueberry lemon martini. The fried calamari was supposed to be served with a spicy marinara sauce; the fried buffalo cheese was supposed to be served with (regular?) marinara sauce. When these two came out, the sauce was exactly the same-- and it tasted like it came straight from a cane of watered down tomato paste. The calamari was indeed cooked, but it was certainly the palest I've ever seen fried calamari. The fried buffalo cheese was another surprise. As you can see in the picture, there were three pieces. The first was not cheese, but a battered and fried slice of tomato; the second was half tomato and half cheese, and the third was all cheese. Remember I had ordered the 8" pizza? I finished the two dishes and waited. And waited. And waited. I honestly thought the server forgot to put in the pizza order. After all, the two men in the kitchen were standing around and talking. I figured I would ask for the ticket when suddenly the pizza came out. The pizza was a smaller size - no trouble there - but again, this was the blandest pizza I've ever had. The dough was tasty, but tasted more like a toasted pita then coal-fired pizza crust. The servers were not particularly over or under attentive- something I like. I didn't park a car, so I can't attest to an experience there. Based on my experience at lunch, I would not recommend visiting Luigi's Coal Oven Pizza. There are so many more places in Fort Lauderdale around the same price point with better seasoned food.

Came here for a book club meeting and loved my experience! Right on las olas, very easy to get to but no free parking sadly. Our server was Soo sweet, she came over and was super attentive even though we needed multiple times to ask for more time before we ordered. We got a nice circular table in the corner for 5 of us and had a great spot. For appetizers i had the meatballs and ricotta -- SOO good. My favorite part of the meal. For pizza, We decided to try the Jaime's pizza, the bruschetta pizza add prosciutto, and the margherita pizza. My favorite of the bunch was margherita, the other ones were good but didn't blow me away. I also am a Neapolitan pizza lover so i am biased and love that traditional, authentic, fall over in your hand style. This one was a little thick for my taste although my friend said it's usually even thinner and more genuine. Still though the flavors were incredible and the ambiance was truly enjoyable, I'll definitely be back!

Stopped by for a quick solo lunch and sat at the bar. The team was super nice and the pizza came out quick. Great flavors and great portion -- I certainly ate more than I needed and probably should have. It's not the cheapest spot to grab a bite in FLL but from a pizza perspective it's the best on Los Olas.

Awesome pizza! Highly recommend the veggie pizza but the margarita pizza and the wings are delicious as well! Service is always friendly and quick! Great location on Las Olas too.

This was our first time here and the food was amazing. You can tell it was freshly made and our waitress Quinn made us feel like royalty. My daughter who is a picky eater loved their meatballs and chicken Milanese. I highly recommend everyone to try.

I've had a lot of "good" pizzas but I'd wager this is the BEST pizza in Fort Lauderdale! The sauce, the crust, the ambience *chefs kiss* This is easily my favorite go to pizza place whenever the craving hits. Walk in, choose where you'd like to sit and they will take perfect care of you every time. The house favorite is the margherita pizza but any pizza you get here is top notch. Perfect place to come with dogs as well as they have dog bowls in the patio area for your furry friends. If you have a favorite pizza spot I implore you to cheat on them just once with Luigi's! I promise you won't regret It.

Luigi's is one of those places you keep coming back to. The coal oven pizza is always on point--crispy, flavorful, and super fresh. The staff is friendly, the vibe is relaxed, and everything just feels genuine. Easily one of my favorite spots in Fort Lauderdale.

We arrived and the place is small but we got seated right away, the menu has a vegan pizza options with vegan cheese, i ordered the vegetarian pizza, and my wife ordered the pesto vegan pizza both were excellent, we also tried the homemade potato chips, i really loved them. The service was good, the ambiance is a cozy pizza place with great coal oven pizza. I will mos def go back when im hungry for pizza.

Hands down...screw that, raise them hands and ask for seconds! We enjoyed a Bruschetta pizza with added mozzarella cheese. This is by far one of the best pizzas I have had anywhere. I'm talking Japan (no laughing yes Pizza was good in Japan even with corn and mayonnaise) Australia, DC, NY, Italy (ok Italy was pretty damn good too but it definitely rivals a traditional Italian pizza). Cooked to perfection. The tomatoes were marinated and then seasoned. Once the pizza dough was lovingly placed in the fire pit of death, they then put the tomatoes on top which also gave it a mouthwatering grilled taste. If your in Ft Lauderdale take the time to visit this place and enjoy a pizza that your mouth will kiss you back and your taste buds will dance the Tarantella. Stand by. I'm about to try the desert ....Hey hey cannoli yummy! Not as smooth as a cannoli from Pisa, but so good. Definitely home made and a wonderful way to end a meal. I must also add, the staff, Amazing. Charlene gave us some great tips and advice and helped make our dining experience even better.

Very dog friendly. Service here was top notch. Food came out quick, we waited about 5 mins for our salad and 10 mins later the pizza came out. The Caesar salad was a half portion which was good for 2 to share. We ordered a Large sausage pizza which is also good for 2 people to share....8 total slices. Sausage was a crumbled version vs sliced sausage which some pizzerias use. I prefer the crumbled sausage here. Our waitress was awesome, wish I remembered her name but she was great, super helpful and friendly Sat outside. Nice weather and had a big projector TV to watch the games. Also, they had a happy hour. Not sure but want to say 3-6p. Includes small bites, some cocktails and half off wine.

Ordered tiramisu to go so can only comment on that one specific thing. Terrible tiramisu, has chocolate chips!????

Wow! What a great little gem. Saw it while driving diwn Las Olas Blvd sightseeing and decided to stop for pizza. We had a party of 5 of which unanimously agreed the food was delicious! The pizza had a crunchy crust but toppings were nut burnt or overcooked. The lentil soup was excellent! The atmosphere was typical Italian. Cozy and quaint. Our waitress was very friendly and took good care of us. She was able to recommend other places for us to try while on vacation. We happened to stop in during happy hour which was a plus!!! Wine glasses were 1:2 off and other drink sod appetizer specials. Great experience!

We've been coming here for years, but recently noticed a change in taste of the pizza over the past few visits. The sauce is certainly different and less rustic, more of a generic canned tomato taste. We asked if they changed vendors or formula. Our recent visit cemented that we would not be back, at least until they improve. We ordered a salad and a regular pepperoni pizza and it was pretty bad. The house salad dressing was sour and I heard the couple next to us complaining about the same thing.

Our favorite spot for pizza napoletana!! My husband is so picky being from naples the lnd of pizza! Don't be fooled by the American workers, this place makes una pizza autentica!!! The restaurant has a cozy and casual atmosphere. The decor is simple and unpretentious. The pizza is delicious, authentic Neapolitan style, and the menu is refreshingly simple! The service is friendly and attentive. Definitely the best pizza on las olas! And we've tried them all.

Ordered some basic pizzas and a cauliflower crust pizza to go- excellent flavor for both crusts, loved the sauce. Slightly expensive but everyone loved the pizza. Fast service, good pizza- busy location for carry out though.

We go here regularly; at least 2-3 times a month. Excellent pizza and calzones. Most other pizza places in town are lousy chain places. Skip those and go to Luigi's instead!

Service was good. Disappointed in the quality of the food. This place e used to be great with fresh and flavorful food. Now it just blah.... Cheap ingredients and mediocre outcome. Sad

The two times I have passed by this restaurant the smell is just so amazing, but the food didn't match the smell. I ordered the chicken pesto pasta and I was excited to try it I love pesto and pasta. But it had no taste so I took two bites and brought it home and added some cheese and condiments to it. The pizza wasn't bad, but who can mess that up.

Super convenient location right on Las Olas. With a workplace right up the street, Luigi's has been unofficially dubbed the office cafeteria, as whenever some of us decide to walk over for lunch, chances are we'll see other coworkers there as well. Capricciosa pizza with a half salad splits well with friends over lunch. Outdoor seating can get a bit hot, but it's South Florida, not much to be done haha. A good and convenient lunch spot.

Pizza is delicious. Downside is that they are sometimes slow to fulfill pickup orders. They will say 20 minutes and if you show up in 20, then it takes an additional 5-10 to get your food. Very tasty though! It is quite tight when picking up an order, there is not really anywhere to stand to not be in the way as the restaurant is very close quarters. Overall a good spot!

Family gathering from all over in town For a big wedding-celebration - And it's time for Thursday night Football. So via DoorDash we ordered pictures from restaurant. If you give them to Lucius everyone enjoyed it it was a good choice we also had homemade salad and chicken wings if you're in town and craving pizza and feeding a big mob,I recommend this place. (we also made a nice big salad and homemade chicken wings) But the Pepperoni Pizzas from Luigi's were the star of the show.

I've traveled around the country for some good pizza. This place is on my top 5. Tomato pie 5stars, bruschetta pie 5 star, Eggplant pie, 5 stars. Fish of the day yellowtail 5 stars. Appetizer: wings with Gorgonzola sauce a must. A perfect combination. For drinks I had the Mexican a perfect blend with plenty of liquor. Customer service 5 stars friendly environment.

Passing by this place a few times while driving through Las Olas Blvd, it always seemed busy. We were in the mood for pizza but we're also particular about where we eat it. We decided to give Luigi's Coal Oven Pizza a shot. Glad we did, because It satisfied our craving! Like most places on Las Olas, it's crammed but had some character and ambiance. The parking lot was tight and found myself constantly glancing outside to see if someone was going to dent my doors (people are so careless) so that took away from the experience. But I appreciated the free parking and the large outside patio area. It was nice to be able to dine inside in the a/c as well. The place is very busy with takeout, door dashers, and sit-down diners. We ordered the 12" pizza marinara, but had to "add" cheese for an up-charge, which is silly in my opinion. We also decided to try the 10 piece wings. The food was good with the pizza being the highlight. It came out hot and fresh. You could really taste the olive oil, garlic, and basil. The marinara was perfect and that added cheese put the pie over the top. The wings came with grilled onions which was a first for us and the taste from the rosemary was strong. I wouldn't order the wings again but not because they were bad. The service was solid with the staff being attentive and friendly. It's a decent spot that we would recommend if you're in the area.

On my last visit I was so excited to go back. I haven't been there in four or five years but their pizza they have pasta their salads. Everything was so good however, something changed. In fact everything changed. I ordered the sausage and peppers I got to my table it was toast horrible I showed it to the server. She went to the kitchen and said all this. Is the same it's already cooked it was so dry and it was so burnt and toast. The pizza that changed also the best thing there was the Coke the salad was horrible. I don't know what to say. Family was at the art festival today and my daughter and nephew got hungry. Although there are dozens of restaurants lining Las Olas Boulevard, few were kid friendly and none had food my daughter enjoys. Luigi's was our little spur of the moment life saver. Stopped in to grab a slice and ended up with two personal pizzas. PERFECT! I didn't eat there, but we did have a couple of drinks at the bar while we waited. Full bar with tasty cocktails and decent selection of beers. Great prices! Order came out quickly and staff were very nice. The restaurant was clean and has plenty of seating, both Indoors and outside. I recommend as a great choice for families in the area.

Oh what a perfect pizza spot when you are craving pizza! Got their classic margarita, pizza and it hit the spot. Fresh, fast as flavorful!! I had it a few days ago and I'm still thinking about when I going back. Looking forward to dining in and trying more of their menus because if their pizza is this good can't imagine the rest of their dishes!

I am admittedly picky when it comes to pizza. Ordered pepperoni and sausage New York style pizza and this place rocked it. The pizza had a nice portion of pepperoni and crumbled sausage. We walked in and ordered at the fully stocked bar. The bartender was really helpful. I'll definitely stop again.

I got the Bruschetta pizza this time added prosciutto . I didn't like it, makes the crust soggy so I only ate the half that wasn't. But I always come for pepperoni pizza and it's absolutely delicious. Cons are dining in, I had someone parked behind me so couldn't get out. It also gets crowded and someone bumped into my table and spilled over my drink a bit. Definitely not a first date, or special occasion kind of place(go to Lucali's for that instead). I rather picking up and have a better time at home.
