Great food and portion size! My wife and I did carry out here while traveling through the area and really enjoyed it. We got the pulled pork plate with sides of green beans and baked beans. All were excellent, and we were very pleasantly surprised at the portion size of the meat for the price paid. We split this meal and were both full when done (didn't even eat 100% of it). The neighborhood is sketch but we had no issues and highly recommend this place.

I'm always looking for black owned businesses to support. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this one. I saw a video on tick tock where the young lady in the video was raving about how good the food is. It was not my experience. On Friday evening I ordered the 2 meat platter and chose the hot links and ribs. I wanted to try the brisket but they were out of it. For sides I ordered the greens and mac n cheese. All I tasted was lighter fluid on the meat. Mac n cheese was average and the greens were not seasoned. I ordered on line and picked up my order. It was ready when I arrived. That was the only thing they got right. I'm not sure what barbecue the person on the tick tock considers good but this didn't taste good for me. Even average barbecue you cook at home taste better than this. I should have known it wasn't good when they don't even have corn bread! I feel duped and paid $32 for my meal. Try at your own risk but I cannot recommend.

I just have to bestow upon you this amazing information. “Top Dog BBQ” is AMAZING! I’m a foodie through and through and from the south so I KNOW good BBQ. I believe it’s intertwined in the DNA. Like instead of baby oil, we were smothered in bbq sauce. ANYWAY- Top Dog- Mouth watering. And the price is GOOD. Usually for good bbq you’re looking at spending $50+ for a small date where the portions are well… More of a suggestion than a size. But Top dog LOADS YOU UP. Like I said, I’m a foodie and I come with a Rasputia after weight watchers appetite and I can’t even finish the serving. I’m here for work for a few days and wanted to try some bbq so I did a google search and decided to go with this one and I have no regrets. I ordered bbq chicken, Mac&cheese and candy yams and all of it was delicious! 😋 I even recommend them to my coworkers because the food was that good, I will definitely order some more before I leave.

I was visiting the area and looking for some dinner when I came across this place. I ordered the rib combo and my partner ordered the brisket combo. Each plate came with two sides and some bread. The greens were my favorite part of the meal. They were so flavorful. We also tried the Mac and cheese, green beans and yams. Everything was great and hot. The ribs fell off the bone and were so moist. The brisket was fork tender and flavorful. None of it needed sauce, but they did provide some and it was also delicious. Highly recommended if you’re craving some good BBQ!

Checked out this spot while visiting Las Vegas. It's a little drive from the strip, but it's well worth it. We ordered ribs and BBQ chicken. Each plate came with two sides and two slices of bread. The food came out nice and hot. Everything was tasty and delicious. The owner was very friendly and the service was great. Definitely will return when we come back to Vegas.

We arrived in Vegas from central Florida and headed to St George UT to participate in the Huntsman World Senior Games basketball tournament. Craving BBQ and found this spot was on our way out of town. Marquis welcomed us and shared the available items from the menu board. My wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich and I ordered the hot links with baked beans and collard greens. We visited on playing basketball and after Shane finished playing our delicious choices, we were blessed to visit with Shane on how he got into this business and his background. Very, very good food and great time fellowshipping with owner Shane and his son Marquis. BTW, the brisket sample was to die for!!! OMG. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I was looking for something different to grub on and Top Dogg came up on my search, l truly don’t like Vegas BBQ spots for my own personal reasons, but as soon as l pulled up to this spot and walked in l just knew l was in the tight spot. People playing dominoes at the table the smell of smoked meats in the air just brought back memories of backyard BBQ. I ordered the 3 meat plate and chicken plate, l got greens, mac and cheese and green beans for my sides and it was all pretty good. If you have ever checked out any of my reviews you know l am a foodie to the heart and can really put some food away, l shared that 3 meat combo with my wife and daughter and still had a hard time finishing the plate. If you want some backyard BBQ hit these guys up for your next fix!!!

I've had bbq all over America. This was one of the best. The guys were nice, the food was awesome, the prices were fair and the portions were tremendous. I'm surprised it was quiet on a Friday afternoon. This place deserves a line out the door. Do not sleep on this. They do catering and delivery too! Parties, families, dates! Call and order or walk in. This is on my list of Vegas-must-do's.

Found the place online while visiting Vegas. We tried brisket, rib tips, pulled pork, green beans, yams, and fries. My rib tips were decent, and the brisket seemed cooked well. My qualm is that they don't have an adequate microwave for the establishment. I say that because my yams were cold in the middle, and even after I heard the microwave fire up they has to run it 3 times over 6 minutes to give me hot food. I could even hear the discussion about how crappy the microwave was. Ignoring that it drastically changes the quality of your food for something like brisket or rib tips they will have to invest in a proper one. Service was great and the cashier constantly checked on our party to make sure things were going well.

Got the combo platter with 3 sides. The rib tips links pulled pork and brisket had me hella surprised. Haven't had bbq this good in a while and it happened on vacation to this family owned business off the strip. Has good vibes inside as the customer service was welcoming.

Stopped here for the first time today at the recommendation of my old boss. Food was Amazing! I had the ultimate sandwich (brisket and hot links). Wow. The staff was super friendly and made sure everything was great. Highly recommend! Great place for lunch if visiting the Air Force base.

I'm a sucker for some mouth watering BBQ and Top Dogg was exactly that! Found this place while in Vegas for my birthday, it was exactly the meal I needed! The chicken was abundant and juicy, and had an incredible flavor. I got the Mac & cheese w/greens on the side. Couldn't finish it all because the portions were big, but the flavor was just incredible. The owner was speaking with some other patrons about how good the brisket was, and then surprised us with a free sample. OUT OF THIS WORLD. It melted in your mouth. Trust me when I say this... order the brisket! I was thoroughly impressed. Not only was the food incredible, the service was quick and the staff were incredibly helpful. The owner was very friendly. I will definitely be back next time. I'm in town.

Went here last week for the first time and I was so happy I did! Got pulled pork Sammy, greens, and Mac & cheese. The BBQ sauce for the pulled pork was so good! The greens were bomb, the Mac & Cheese was average. Staff was super nice and accommodating. Pricing is great for BBQ. Highly recommend

This place is in the heart of the north side. Delicious bbq and awesome people. We came on Memorial Day and they were giving out free hot dogs, chips, and water to the community. The portions are large, the food is very flavorful, and the vibe is chill. My husband doesn't like brisket and he liked theirs. The ribs were delicious. Everything was filled with flavor and not soaked in sauce. You can taste the meat. 5 !

My best friend found this place on Google. Decided to join her and when we arrived, the place looked closed and boarded up. There was a note on the door to call & place an order. When we called, a man told us to come around back & come in. Not going to lie, it was giving real Trap house activity but we all about supporting black businesses. Once inside, greeted and placed my order easily. Prices are inexpensive. I got a loaded baked potato with bbq brisket. Very good! Side of Mac and cheese. Not your mama's, but it was good. Best friend got the yams & could have been better seasoned. The Cook was also very nice and took his time. It was also packaged nicely. Parking & seating is available. I'm sure I will be back.

Working in the area and been looking for a BBQ restaurant and found this one, I showed up and there were a couple of people that were waiting for their orders. I placed my orders and got the pulled pork sandwich lunch special ($8.00) which was a sandwich, chips, and soda and in a addition to the special I ordered a side of coleslaw and Mac and cheese to try them out. I didn't bother to check the bag to see if everything was there, when I arrived back at my work location there was no chips or soda. (So double check your order even if it's a small one like the lunch special). I paid cash and was charged a 3.9% card fee. The sandwich had a lot of pulled pork with a side of BBQ sauce which I assume was in house made, good flavor more vinegar than sugar. The coleslaw was a mayonnaise based which was a little on the bland side but still good to eat. The Mac and Cheese had a good flavor to it. If you are planning on getting your lunch quickly definitely not a place for the quick lunch (took 18 minutes to get my lunch, I only have 30 minutes) but if you have the time it'll be a good place to sit for a bit. I'll be back but will probably place my order ahead of time.

The service was great and so was the food. Some of the juiciest brisket I've ever had. Could have used a tad bit more seasoning/rub but all in all I have no complaints. The sides were also both on point along with the hotlink. Will definitely return when in the area again.

The outside appearance may make you question if you're in the right spot, but I assure you it's the right spot. I order the platter that feeds 6 with all the different kinds of BBQ! The brisket was amazing, the beans had a bit of a spicy flavor but was sooo goood! The sausage links were next level, literally everything was good the pulled pork , the ribs fell off the bone! Will definitely try to support this place everyone I visit Vegas.

When you walk in.....that smell of bbq hits you! This picture does not do it justice! Omg, the brisket was piled high and melts in your mouth!!! It was sooo good, and when you add their bbq sauce.....game over!! The brisket is so juicy and seriously melts in your mouth !!!! Best brisket sandwich I ever had!!!! I'm definitely coming back for dinner!!! Plus, they have a punch card when you buy sandwiches. I can't wait to try out the other menu items!!! Great job, Top Dogg BBQ!!!

This was some of the nastiest food. Mac &cheese was dry as bark. Yams had no flavor The ribs was dry, overcooked. There is a caviat...the Brisket was delicious and the service was decent. I don't recommend this place at all. Si disappointing .

Delicious!! I am so sad that we didn't get pictures but by the time Uber eats delivered it, we all just started making our plates. We ordered two of the tray that came with all the meats and 3 sides (6 sides total) because there was a deal on it and everyone loved the brisket and hot links and pulled pork! The sides were delicious and my super picky 5 year old daughter loved the baked beans. I am not sure what the restaurant is like inside since we got this delivered but we were all very happy and full with some left overs. I recommend top dog most definitely and can't wait to get more of the brisket

Everything about this place is love to me. The owner is so polite and helpful. The moment you walk in, the ambiance is very much like Granny and Papa's house. The food is always amazing.

Got the lunch special here the pulled pork with chips and drink for $8 and was very impressed. Good sized filling sandwich without bbq the pork had good flavor I give it a 7.9. Also got a side of Mac and cheese and like it as well very cheesy and good flavor I give it an 8.3. Overall for a small business i definitely recommend going for lunch for a good deal to fill you up I give it a 8.4

Had a taste for some black owned bbq while browsing Vegas. Ran into this place. Food was decent. If I could recommend anything, it would be adding more seasoning to the green beans to make them more flavorful. The yams were good but could use more cinnamon and some brown sugar. Overall the food was decent.

It is one of those wonderful "hole in the wall" places in a strip mall that has great food at very reasonable prices. We had the Top Dog Platter that featured all their meats: brisket, pulled pork, a chicken drumstick, spicy sausage, riblets and came with three side dishes. Enough food for two very hungry people or three average appetites -- $38. The beef brisket was melt in your mouth tender, the spare ribs very meaty and delicious, everything excellent, including the side dishes. Give these young folks a try if you are anywhere near Nellis AF base in the Las Vegas area.

They don't accept orders for truck drivers, apparently, because they cancelled my order on Door Dash. Wack.

Pretty much this business doesn't deserve one star at all!!!!!! we went on a Sunday afternoon right before closing...we were greeted by a child who was on his phone at the register, then Shane Came out told him there is 3 of us. We request for just RIBS and BRISKET, for three adults and he replied yes it will be enough to feed three people. When we got our food, we only got served three very small slices of brisket very small slices of pork ribs and 1 piece of chicken thigh(which I didn't even ask for) . Along with 1 serving of mac&cheese (in a small styrofoam to go container ) 2 pieces of store bought white bread in a sandwich bag and lastly, 2 loaded baked potatoes @ $12 each!!! Hmmmmm and this was supposed to feed three adults!!!! Feel like we got ripped off, didn't have enough meat to go around and feed all 3 adults. Pretty much each person had one small piece each. We didn't even touch the one breast of chicken so embarrassing. How are supposed to split that three ways. The quality and of the ribs and brisket was terrible, we were super hungry so we were forced to eat. It will definitely not recommend this place but who am I to say try it for self! You will be totally disappointed. To top things off I'm not sure you might make it out of your car. You'll find yourself looking at an abandoned car that is sitting on concrete blocks with no wheels personally, I don't think that you would wanna walk in this facility. Be prepared to bring some sanitizer wipes you might not be comfortable eating there. Not to mention the plastic utensils we used to eat our dinner looks like it's from the $1 store. A spork is all that they had to offer so embarrassing.

I had a Groupon & called Friday 1/10/23. The old man that answered said there was No Brisket....now I called around 1p for a 4/5p pickup of a platter due to my $100 Groupon. He said no brisket til Sunday & 2-3 hours 4 chicken. He doesn't know his own business cuz they ain't open on Sunday!! I just cashed in my Groupon...ain't nobody got time for that!

We found this place from Groupon. The shop is very clean. Pop taking good care of explained items on the menu. Food taste great, fresh, and so delicious. We will visit again next time when we in Vegas.

We were in Las Vegas on vacay and we looked up good restaurants in the area. We found this gem! We met Shane the owner. He's super friendly and we enjoyed taking to him. He sells out of brisket almost daily but we finally were able to order some. We ordered hot links, chicken, bbq ribs & brisket! Let me tell you...OMG! It was tender and tasted EXCELLENT! Top Dogg Barbecue's Lunch Special is a heckuva good deal at only eight bucks! They were really busy, so the lady let me know before I ordered that platters were taking about an hour, but she could get a lunch special done quickly. Since that was why I stopped, so that worked out perfectly. Your meat choice is pulled pork, hot links, or brisket. Being an avid Q'er, I always judge a new-to-me joint by their brisket. It's the easiest meat to screw up because it's the "front axle" of the cow. Before it's cooked, it's a huge and tough because it's done a lot of work. It's also made up of two DIFFERENT cuts of meat: the fatty point (or deckle) and the relatively lean flat. You have to trim juuuust the right amount of fat off of it. It's easy to dry it out, leave it too fatty, or otherwise mess it up and it's a lot of work to do it right. Top Dogg cooked it perfectly. The sandwich had the perfect mix of flat and point Good Q does not need any sauce. This didn't, but I tried it out of due diligence for you, dear readers. Barbecue sauce has to be balanced, as well. Theirs has a great mix of sweet and savory with just the right amount of cumin thrown in for good measure. Top notch, all the way around. So, swing by here and support a family instead of shareholders for the same amount of money. Oh yeah, and get better food! As busy as they were, I was in and out in less time than the drive through at either of the burger joints

I wanted ribs they said the ribs would not be ready until 2 PM but I could get rib tips After waiting for 40 minutes after we were told it would be 20min. I got cold peach Cobbler And my 2 meat platter consisted of chicken and Pulled pork I don't even eat pulled pork I gave them a $5 tip and my order was wrong. I live in the Southwest so you best believe everybody that I know that lives over there off a crack I will let them know the service I received. Then they had to nerve tell me to call ahead next time so I don't have to wait so long.

The rib tip were pretty good and the macaroni. But the beans, yams and peach cobbler was a complete miss and a waste of money sadly. Cobbler was cold and dry and tasteless as ever and the beans were straight out the can with extra nothing and the yams were so watered down. the staff was very interactive but that can't make up for nasty food sadly.

Visiting this place was one of the highlights of our Las Vegas trip. All of the barbecue was very tasty especially the brisket and the greens. We were delighted to know that they do not use pork in their collard greens. The service was great. The barbecue sauce was tangy and complimented the food very well. The baked beans were very tasty. The macaroni and cheese had good flavor but the noodles were done too much. It was a bit soggy. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to grab a bite to eat. There was a loaded baked potato which was amazing.

I ordered the Top Dogg Sampler & Peach Cobbler. What I will say is the quantities are really good. That plate could've fed 3 people for sure. Unfortunately, I'm a quality over quantity type of girl. I did order through Grub hub, and it took longer than what they thought.. but not too much longer. I waited about an hour and 10 minutes for my order. The problem is.. some of my items were cold.. Why am I waiting so long for cold items? None of the meat had a smoky flavor that we look for in a good BBQ spot. The meat was seasoned..like..pepper..cumin.. paprika..there was a rub on there.. but needed salt. The brisket, chicken thigh and pulled pork was moist.. but lacked flavor. Making me have to drench the meat in BBQ sauce in order to get flavor. The brisket was..fatty. They sliced it really thick.. which I could really appreciate but.. the amount of fat was too much. The biggest disappointment to me was the macaroni and cheese and peach cobbler. Both of those items are a staple. The macaroni and cheese was by far the WORST macaroni and cheese I've ever had. It legitimately had no taste. You could see pepper in it.. but when you eat it.. it tasted like noodles and water. The peach cobbler tasted like hot canned peaches in a little bit of a sugar sauce. The peaches were kind of.. sour. I did also get the potato salad.. it was mustard forward not something that I like but.. fine. The baked beans were watery and tasted out the can too. I am so disappointed.. and frustrated that I spent $30 on bland food.

The owner was very straight forward but still personable, which I appreciated! I got the pork ribs and my boyfriend got the hot links. We both tried a bit of each. He absolutely loved the hot links and they had great spice. The pork ribs were large and went wonderfully with the bbq sauce. They stick to Texas style bbq which means the sauce comes on the side and you can decide how much, if any, to put on. They were out of brisket which is NORMAL FOR A SMALL BBQ RESTAURANT GUYS! They smoke the meat so sometimes if something is popular, these local businesses will run out. It's very understandable and we'll be back to try it when they have it. Highly recommend!

Drive straight past Chipotle and visit this BBQ, same price higher quality and better portions. Ultimate BBQ burger was delicious. Support your local small business owner.

Best bbq ever!! Tried it twice and both times was amazing! This time was the stuffed potato. I'll definitely have it again. Brisket was tender and delicious. The bbq sauce on the side was also terrific.

Very friendly staff. Ordered the rib tips, mac & cheese and collard greens. The mac & cheese and collard greens was very tasty. I give them my eight out of 10 but the rib tips were just OK. Give them a six out of 10. They forgot to put my sauce that I wanted in my bag, so I had to whip up some barbecue sauce to put on it too much char on the rib tips and cut in to small of pieces. But my reason for the three stars, any place that sells collard greens should sell corn bread, and they don't two slices of white bread is a fail.

The gentleman that helped us on Sunday was very rude. I was trying to use a Groupon voucher that he stated he would not accept since it was a Sunday he only Monday through Saturday. I'm not sure why as well. He had macaroni and cheese no tri-tip and no brisket done at the moment.

Back again from good old Cali. Nothing has changed. This is still some of the best Damn BBQ on the Vegas.

I was ordering for my client, the price for the tray and menu on yelp and in the store was $95, but when in the store,the owner pointed to the written board and said price increased to 120.

I called Top Dogg BBQ and spoke to the owner, Shane. It was my first time here, and Shane was patient with me while I decided what to order. He's a really good guy. I ordered the Top Dogg Sampler Platter with banana pudding for dessert. The serving size was solid. It was enough to feed three: me, my wife and son. All of the meats were very good and had a nice BBQ taste. The sides were tasty as well. We will definitely visit again when we are back in Vegas. Thank you, Shane!!

Love the food here! The meat is so well prepared that it almost feels like an insult to add the barbecue sauce, but however you decide its delicious. The cost is more than fair, you get full servings and the sides compliment the meal perfectly. Stop in and pick something up or have it delivered through GrubHub.
