Best Italian market in South Florida without a doubt. Family owned and operated. The quality of the food is top notch. Their fresh mozzarella is the best I have ever had. It’s worth the trip just for the mozzarella but I promise when you get there you will feel like a kid on Christmas morning! The pastries, the bread, the Italian cold cuts, the cheeses, the heroes, and many Italian specialty items that you can’t find anywhere else will warm your heart and satisfy your appetite. This place is a diamond in the ruff. 5 stars ++

Who says Florida has no good Italian food. Authentic and delicious is where you start with this amazing Italian market. The next step is you will feel like family. From the moment you walk in the door you are transported to NY and Italy. The food is always fresh and amazing. I love stopping in for a quick lunch or taking something home to cook. It reminds me of my grandma's cooking! Forgetaboutit! 🇮🇹

Been in this area for over 25 years and not once have I entered since there was another Italian market across the street from them. I saw someone walk out with a pie so I figured let me give them a try. This place is very expensive and for what? A pie was $19 and full of grease. The deserts completely overpriced. We were waiting in line to pay and another customer told the cashiers that we we're waiting and the cashier made a hand gesture and took her anyway. The ladies in the front have horrible customer service. One of the ladies was speaking terribly to the staff. Very uncomfortable and will never go back there. Whoever manages this place needs to revisit a customer service coarse and understand that all walks of life live in this area and everyone should be treated with respect.

I’ve given one star because I always read negative reviews first and because I overheard the lady behind the counter ( presumably the owner) describing the Italian chocolates on display as “out of this world”. I bought a small container of assorted flavors for $20 and they were either subjected to extreme temperatures or OLD! Discolored, crumbly and not very tasty. Out of MY world where chocolate at that price should be outstanding in texture, taste and appearance! The Mozzarella was fantastic, the bread perfectly fine, the olives ok. We spent around $200 and are yet to try our other choices. Stay tuned.

Not the same customer service I used to get at Mimi’s. At the cashier counter I was helped by a lady that spoke Spanish named Estella, very rude and condescending. At the line there was no one behind me so I don’t understand her nasty attitude. I selected a few bakery goods while my food was getting prepared. While selecting, she gave me a nasty laughter as if she was bothered to work. This lady needs to be trained to have social skills, specially when her job involves customer service. Felt like canceling my whole order since she didn’t want my money and was so bothered. On the positive side, the other Spanish lady that was packing my food was nice and gave appropriate service. The food was fantastic as always and do recommend. The pastries I liked were the honey walnut raspberry bars and a chocolate phyllo pastry. Hope Estella gets appropriate training or finds something where she doesn’t have to interact with people.

I have visited Mimi’s Ravioli on several occasions & although very pricey, I have found the pizza to be excellent and the desserts were delicious. However, I ordered 2 breaded egg eggplant the other day which were $4.00 and It was totally tasteless. It didn’t even have any salt, would I have known that I would not have spent the money. The eggplant certainly let me down. I won’t be buying that again. Other than that I recommend it, although you may not wanna be a regular with the high prices.

I really love this place! My favorite local Italian Market! Everything is always so delicious from their premade food to their frozen section. The other night I bought some of their homemade spinach, artichoke, and mozzarella ravioli. Paired it with a bit of basil, tomato sauce, sliced sausage + ciabatta bread. Yummy. Every single bite.

I went to Mimi's for a slice of grandma pizza and a Nutella lobster tail (pastry, not a sea bug, sfogliatelle's cousin). Both were delish! Had it been earlier in the day, I would've also enjoyed an espresso. I love Mimi's!

I should not be telling yall about this place. It's been a staple for my family for 4 generations now. If you like picking up their ravioli at Doris' market, you'll love coming here bc the selection is INCREDIBLE. The staff knows my family and isn't surprised when we order ravioli by the case. I also think their biscotti is unbeatable, chocolate and almond is my go to and no I don't care how much it costs for a big container. We also grab fresh mozzarella and hard to find imported Italian non perishables (like good olive oil by the jug). If you care about an Italian in your life, you need to direct them here. Better yet, go yourself and immerse yourself in our culture that loves food and family.

I have always wanted to visit Mimi's Ravioli after trying them at a Hollywood food festival in Young Circle. When I finally got the chance they more than lived up to my expectations. This authentic Italian market is cozy and enchanting. Mimi's has been a labor of love for the Billisi family since 1970. They run an Italian specialties bakery and pasta factory. Every day they churn out homemade ravioli, freshly made pizzas, fresh piped cannoli, crusty breads, cheese, sauce, and more. They have a pizza oven to turn out the best fired pizza and they are especially famous for their house made, hand stretched mozzarella. What they don't make here they import directly from Italy. You can get your pantry staples like oil and vinegar here as well as plates and bowls to serve their pasta masterpieces. Mimi's is well known throughout South Florida for their Italian specialties. You can pick up a meal or they will cater your event. In addition to running the market they participate in many festivals throughout they year but I recommend paying their Hollywood market a visit for the full Mimi's Italian market experience.

What a wonderful family owned business that has been around a lifetime! The have a complete Italian market that you can purchase your ingredients from to make your own dish at home, or they have already made frozen items that you can toss into the oven with your favorite sauce and spices. If you are hungry while you are there, they have food to order as well. The service is fast paced, however warm and friendly at the same time. This store isn't close to my home, however I will most definitely take the drive down to pick up more items once I through what we purchased. Enjoy!!

This is an Italian grocery store as well as a small restaurant. The Italian items are excellent. Their home made sauces are all excellent. If you want real Italian dry pasta they have excellent products. Their bread is excellent as is their fresh mozzarella. I love Mimi's and highly recommend it.

Got a square of chocolate mousse cake and coffee. The cake was very good. Also bought a fresh baguette. The store is packed full of Italian goodies. Fresh prepared foods and frozen foods as well. Lots of bakery items and cooking condiments. They also carry wines and a variety of Italian sodas.

Oh my gosh! We stopped here while visiting family to pick up a cake. What a treasure. They have a bakery counter, Italian groceries, tons of frozen freshly prepared ravioli, veal parm trays, eggplant parm trays etc. It has been in Hollywood FL a long time and I can see why. It's the real deal.

Definitely a Hollywood/ Pembroke Pines stable for good Italian food & goodies. We always stop in for their pizza and cheesecake. The NEW YORK cheesecake here is top tier. I felt like I just hopped of the subway in little Italy with the smell of fresh cheeses and homemade pizza filling the store. Pizza is more of a homemade style which is also good. And the chicken cutlets are one of my faves . If you have a craving for Italian food or looking for ingredients I will definitely recommend. This place is more of a take out spot & a Italian grocery.

I really wanted to love this place since I had read so many great reviews but unfortunately my experience was just pretty average. The place was very small, kind of hard to walk around in, which I wasn't a big fan of but if you don't mind people constantly bumping into you then this is the place for you! There was no prices on many of the items which just strikes me as kind of strange. For instance, I ordered 2 subs and then found out they were $18.99 each. That's absolutely insane. I also had asked about having them on seeded Italian bread which they said I'd have to purchase a loaf of their bread separately for $5 more and they can make it on it. Whoever heard of an Italian deli not having seeded bread to make their subs, hoagies, heroes or whatever you want to call them?! I passed on the subs. The only thing I ended up buying was their home made mozzarella cheese which was very good for $19 but not good enough that I'd be rushing back there anytime soon. The food in the cases looked fine but nothing that really caught my eye so I only ended up with the cheese. Was going to buy some ravioli since that's what they're known for but the no prices on any of the different ravioli made me pass on buying it. I think this was a one and done visit for me.

It's a dream to find a spectacular Italian spot in south Florida. IYKYK. Is it expensive? Yes Is it cramped? Yes Is it not in the best neighborhood? Yes Is it worth it ? Yes? A bit too grainy for me with the filling but the dried and fresh pasta was stellar. I don't live in Florida but my parents do and they said they'd def be back

Any respectable new yorker would NEVER pay these prices for "italian american" food. This establishment should be ashamed of themselves for marking up on prices to benefit their own pockets and then have the audacity to call themselves old fashioned italian. Legit highway robbery during this economy. Stay away from these thieves and make your own food, or find another place that isnt going to rob you.

One of my favorite Italian markets. I stopped in for the cappuccino and the friendly atmosphere. This market makes great coffee. It is not so advertised but it should be. I recommend trying it. This is a place that is hard not to buy. The dessert counter looks so yummy. I ended up with some types of claw desserts that tasted great. I also recommend the fresh mozzarella. They have different types. I liked the smoked but all are good. I noticed a bigger expansion or maybe it's me on the cooked food. It is told by the pound. Everything looks so good. I got the Chicken Franchise. I can wait to try it. The service and staff friendliness is great. They make you feel good and they really do try to help you. They are very good with suggestions. I am glad I stopped in today.

Never going back. I've lived in the neighborhood 20 years and in all the times I've patronized this place I've gotten horrible service and attitude. Wish I knew the lady at the counter's name...she must not have teeth and standing on rocks all day because I've never seen a smile or heard a kind tone or word. Born and raised in NYC...yes, I'm a transplant living in SoFL more than half my years and the attitude here is a disgrace. $30 for pre packaged old stale butter cookies? Raviolis not worth price. Nothing has a price so overcharging is a regular occurrence. Pastries stale. sad.

This place has been around for many years! I use to come here when I was in high school for my BF mom. Today I picked up some cheese stuff shells and I can wait to eat them. Fresh mozzarella chesse, out of this world! Arugula, pumpkin , red velvet and pistachio. Limoncello tiramisu, finger licking good Garlic focaccia , the bread is soft and full of flavor. You cant get any better any place else! Chicken Cacciatore, I have tried this yet, but I have never had anything bad from here. And now that I'm home I cant believe I didnt get fresh bread. But there is always next week!

the Best around for sure! We stop in on Sundays after church . This week we got tomato mozzarella sandwiches and ravioli with vodka cause for dinner. Chefs kiss for sure! Such fresh food and employees are great. My personal favorite is the eggplant focaccia bread - wow!

Best manicotti I've found outside of NY. 3 words...Prosciutto Rice Balls. Amazing! Mozz is the absolute best. Love their frozen dinners, had the chicken francese and chicken marsala, both amazing as was the baked manicotti.

The real deal. If I lived here I'd visit weekly and stock my fridge. Amazing homemade Italian. Made with love. Garlic pizza and lasagna bolognese were so damn good. From taste to texture. Epic! I'll be back!

Great products made from scratch. The mozzarella is made fresh every 45 minutes, and anything they don't sell in the day goes onto their pizzas the next day. They are happy to give you a sample. The fresh pasta was great to bring home and cook, and the prepared foods were also good.

Abominable !! Wtf is in this so called Short Rib Ravioli? Spam? Hot dog meat ? I have been a huge fan for many years and I am appalled to boil these raviolis up to find THIS inside. You should be ashamed.

I love supporting local family businesses and Mimi's is one of those that's been around for a long time. It really is a great store and one of the very few real Italian specialty stores around. With that said $47 for 2 sandwiches is a bit obnoxious. I will continue to support this business as I have for many years but only for certain things. Sandwiches not being one of them

Mimi's Ravioli is a small market that specialize in Italian food and products. We wanted to do some homemade gnocchi and went to Mimi's to buy their fresh Mozzarella for the sauces and for the first time they gave us one that it was not as fresh as it use to. I haven't been here in a while, so I don't know if the quality of their products has changed.

A hidden family run gem in Hollywood for half a century. The freshly made mozzarella is one of life's great pleasures. There is more than Ravioli, the prepared foods, pizza and baked goods are all 5 star. It is worth the trip.

This store was an even better experience this visit than my first time here over a year ago. In fact, I wanted to try and buy everything in the store! This time, however, it was so much easier to get here. The road was no longer ripped up and under construction so it wasn't as challenging a drive. And the service I received was also better. I wanted to come back here - as I was already in the area -- but also to buy wagon wheeled shaped pasta. It is not the easiest shape to find and here they have several brand choices -- and two sizes (large and mini) and several box/bag sizes. As it turned out, I not only got my wagon wheels, but also some fresh frozen pasta --- mushroom ravioli and Gorgonzola ravioli. We had a bit of both for dinner and they were yummy, btw. In addition, we got some large green olives and a huge whole artichoke stuffed with bread crumbs. The yummy pastry I got didn't last long enough for a photo -- nor did it make it past the parking lot into the car! They have delicious everything -- pastries and bread that they make; fresh pasta; jars and boxes of every kind of Italian food or condiment you can think of. They also have their oven fired up if you want a fresh pizza. If you're in the southern part of town and looking for a great Italian grocery, this is your kind of store. If you've never been here, you need to come check it out. Buon appetito!

The food is very good. I get the marinara sauce, large raviolis, baguette and the mini cannolis. All the food that I have eaten from this location is excellent.

Gotta love Mimi's! This small Italian specialty shop is packed with delicious goodies. They have a large frozen section with of course ravioli that is made in house and a hot section with your favorite Italian dishes. I recently stopped in for a slice of their pizza- one regular and one Sicilian. Super fresh and delicious. They have good pastries and breads as well. Great place!

Love this store. Wish they had one in the Tampa Bay area. Was visiting friends in Sunny Isles and we stopped in on the way back to Tampa. The fresh mozzarella, cacciocavallo were delicious. We also bought sfogiatelle that did not make it home. We ate them in the car. Great selection of fresh pasta & all types of regular pasta. We also purchased an espresso pot & cavatelli machine. This will be a stop every time we go to Miami. And I forgot the giant freselle. Delicious.

Moved from California 5 years ago and when I found out that Mimi's is less then 3 minutes from my house I knew I was in trouble. Their fresh homemade mozzarella is out of this world. You have to eat the mozzarella right away dont put it in the fridge as it isnt as good!! They cut their bread fresh and their sandwich's are also fabulous!! My favorite pastry from there is their lobster tail!! They have pizza dough to make pizzas at home and cannolis your can fill yourself so they won't get soggy if they're sitting!! Can't recommend them enough!!

Hey Mimi.. I purchased 2 boxes of your 24 count ravioli's from Doris market. After taking them out of the box and breaking them apart. Five of the ravioli had part of the card board box stuck to the bottom of them. This doesn't happen when I purchase Pastosa ravioli's from Josephs Italian Market. Please try and fix this issue.

I am very upset that I didn't know this place existed before and I've been living in Hollywood for the past seven years. The place is very small but the food is incredible. One of the best cannolis and the best sandwiches. I've tried around the area the prices are a little bit high, but that's your typical Italian market prices in south Florida can really compared to up north or somewhere else, but the coffee the sandwiches cannolis all were good and definitely will come back again.

Mimi is my go to spot in south Florida for any homemade Italian eats. They are not just a pasta store but more of a marketplace that you can get anything Italian you ever dreamed of. The offer plenty of homemade frozen pastas, sauce and food. The ravioli are delicious and come in plenty of flavors aside from the original for you to choose from. They even have other fresh cut pastas and bags of pasta in the aisle. If you're in the market for a special cut, they have it or it doesn't exist! I wouldn't say their prices are cheap by any means but you're paying for quality imported ingredients so it's worth it. If you aren't in the mood to cook, Mimi has plenty of Italian delicacies to meet your needs! Eggplant parm, chicken cutlets, stuffed artichokes you name it! All ready for you buy and just heat and serve when you get home. All the breads and pastries are baked on site and all are more delicious than the next. My personal favorite are the boxed raspberry butter cookies dipped in chocolate. I could seriously eat the whole box! Yum! Have I mentioned the mozzarella? Anyone at the counter will ask you if you want some before you leave as if it's a party favor you can't leave the store without getting on. Which they aren't exactly wrong... it's made fresh and often times warm when you leave. Trust me it's ok. Take the goods and go. Get home and cut into that bad boy and just experience the greatness. It's perfect. I recommend capitalizing on eating it fresh with a nice tomato when you get home because its just not the same the day after. Equally as delicious but the texture changes. Always better on the first day! Overall, if you are in the market for some quality Italian eats this is your spot! It's worth the drive even if you're not in the neighborhood!

I ordered some deserts and wine for delivery to my grandmothers hotel. It's her first vacation since my grandfathers passing so I wanted to do something nice. Living in Jacksonville I could not deliver myself but the staff made it INCREDIBLY easy for me to get her these treats. They are extremely kind and wonderful and the food is amazing!!!! I'd give this place 10000/5 stars if that was a possibility

My son bought pasta and made dinner for us. We had Two types of gnocchi and two types of ravioli with two sauces. Everything was so good! The spinach ravioli were my favorite. The sauces, vodka sauce and marinara, were very flavorful. We also tried the focaccia, it was annexing!! Mi need to go by and get my own soon.

Everything I have gotten from them is GREAT! Very good quality. Very friendly to! Has a good variety, so you got to take your time.

They have lots of Italian delights and delicious food. So many pastas, fresh bread and fresh mozzarella. The steak and peppers Stromboli was a hit with my husband. I had the lasagna in bolognese sauce. Very good. Can't wait to go back!

Funny you would think that their best product was their Ravioli, yet that is the one thing that I don't like from there. Not quite sure why but it doesn't strike me. I will have to try the fresh ones as the frozen ones have disappointed me on multiple occasions. With that said it is so much more than Just Ravioli. This small charming storefront is Throwback Italian and there is not much room to get around inside here either. They have so many Italian specialty items I don't know where to begin but it is all good. Their mozzarella is the best around, their fresh Semolina bread is NJ worthy, their prepared foods though a bit pricey are outstanding with the finest ingredients and their selections of Italian Meats and cheeses is 2nd to none. Staff is friendly and Helpful... OH and their pizza dough is fantastic to take home and make your own pizza or Zeppoles. If I loved their various Ravioli's it would be 5 star but alas 4.5 isn't bad!

Excellent for any Italian food. I ordered lasagna and eggplant/ zucchini for Christmas Eve. The tomato/ fresh mozzarella was fantastic. I would recommend Mimi's without reservations!

A Hollywood institution that is a must stop if you're from the tristate area and missing the taste and smells of "home". Sunday sauce is well within reach after a visit to Mimi's. We always get their pizza as a snack too!
