Sandy's Country Junction

Stopped by as I was driving to Sequoia. Fun themed country diner with a classic menu and average pricing. However, service was very slow and I waited around 20 minutes just to get my order taken - I kept asking to order but each server I asked said that I wasn’t sitting at “their” table. Food was fine, didn’t particularly stand out but not bad at all.

There's a crew of us Veteran's that meet here every Tuesday to catch up with each other. It's always a great time and educational to boot! I ordered a bacon and cheese omelette and was disappointed. The bacon was not cooked thoroughly-- very chewy and grisly and I noticed it was the same on several other plates at our table. It ended up going to waste. 😑 Need to make sure it's cooked through and crispy. Hashbrowns had a bit too much salt as well. Coffee was never ending! 😊 Prompt and friendly service from the staff. Just a few "tweaks" with the food and it would be perfect. We'll be back.

This place was sooooo good I got the skillet with biscuits and gravy and a side of German sausage, and everything was perfect. The food was season great and came out in a timely manner. The waitress was so sweet and very attentive highly recommend this breakfast spot

I'm so confused by all the positive reviews. We just left and will not be back. 1) waiting for a table they make you wait outside in the cold. At least provide heaters if your restaurant size cannot accommodate folks waiting. 2) the wait was long. And it took over 10 minutes just to pay the bill. My husband walked up and paid at the register as the waitress took our card and never came back. 3) my husband liked his country gravy but the bacon was dry. I could have made better eggs at home. Positive: the order was correct.

It was quite sleepy when my small family and I last visited here in December 2025, which was nice. But for the small amount of other customers in the restaurant, we were not tended to consistently. The biscuits are also not as big as they were a couple years ago. They are substantially smaller (similarly sized to store bought tube biscuits). So that was disappointing. Hashbrowns and bacon were yummy. Overall, it was an so-so brunch.

I've eaten her numerous times over the past several years with friends and coworkers. It seems like things have changed over the last couple of years, and not for the better. Today, my coworkers went in, got a table and ordered drinks, while I found nearby parking. When I got to the table there were no drinks. We all looked at the menu, decided on what to order, put the menus down and waited. After 7 minutes or so I had to wave to someone to place our order. "I'll send your server over in just a minute" said a pleasant young lady. Several minutes later our server came by and took our order. "He'll have your drinks in just a minute" he said, gesturing to another young man. Our drinks arrived another several minutes later. Meals were brought and after our server left I noticed that some condiments I woul like were not on the table. After waiting a few minutes, I got up and went to our server (behind the counter) and asked for mustard and mayo. He handed me the mustard bottle and asked the kitchen for some mayo. Several minutes later he brought the mayo (which had been sitting in the servers window within 1 minute after being requested). My burger is now warm, not hot. With most of our meals gone and drinks almost empty, another server (the drink guy) checked to see if we would like refills. Mind you, half the tables in the restaurant were unoccupied. Almost the entire time we were there, there were at least three people behind the counter folding napkins or other such tasks. The table next to us, who came in about half way through our visit were trying as politely as possible to catch someone's eye for service. I kiddingly, but with a measure of seriousness told them they were in a self-service restaurant. Food was okay, nothing to get excited about, but good enough. Probably not coming back any time soon. Too bad, because this used to be a place to go for home style cooking, great service and a fun atmosphere.

This place is so nice and the food is amazing. Everything is hot and full of flavor. 100% recommend going here.

This was my first my time visiting this place. We arrived around the closing time. They didn't mind. The staff was so nice, gave us enough time to order. He did asked us very polite to do our order before the kitchen closed down for the day. The food was delicious. We were able to hang out a little bit after closing time. They weren't rushing us to leave. We ate very comfortable. Next time We will make plans to get there earlier. The place is very clean and very spacious. They have a very nice outdoor dining area. The restrooms are super clean. Parking and location is great! $$ I totally recommended this place for breakfast or brunch.

First time having breakfast today and my wife and I were actually amazed at speed of service, customer service and food quality. Overall impressive and I am craving going back ASAP to try more of the menu!!!

Sandy's Country Junction is always a great experience. The place stays busy, and for good reason--the staff is super friendly and the food is always fresh. They have the best homemade biscuits and gravy in town, hands down. If you're looking for a comfortable, welcoming spot with delicious food, this is the place to go.

Super friendly and quick service. The parking lot isn't super big but we got lucky and found parking right by the restaurant. It's in a super cute area and we were able to walk to a nearby coffee shop and just around after eating Huevos rancheros: 3/5 I don't really order this super often so I wasn't super sure what to expect but I thought it was alright I also tried a bit of the chicken fried steak which I thought was super good. It was my first time trying it too and I would definitely get it again. The biscuits (which I think is like a specialty of theirs?) and gravy definitely stood out for me. I usually don't like biscuits but these were fluffy and not dry at all

We sat outside and they sorta forgot about us.. finally a waiter came by with some lemons and asked if we had asked for some .. we said nobody had even come with a menu yet. Finally we had our order taken , a pastrami sandwich . We asked to have it cut in half so we could share it .. they said it was big. Well it wasn't big and it only had one layer of pastrami . It had hardly any flavor and it was just so so. I don't recommend this place at all.. the service is terrible, the v good is not good.. so yes , do v yourself a favor and go somewhere else.. where they don't forget you are there

We came in on a Saturday morning and it seemed pretty packed. The restraint itself is very nice and felt like an old school country diner with majority of the customers the older population. We were seated quickly and they took our drink orders and food orders. We ordered biscuits and gravy, breakfast sandwich, chicken fried chicken, and steak and eggs. I'll start off with the good, the biscuits and gravy had just enough salty, creamy, and fluffy to its biscuits. My husband's chicken fried chicken was good. The chicken tasted great, but it was a huge meal. My niece got a breakfast burrito that had great flavors and just enough cheese. The steak and eggs were fulfilling and we didn't get a picture of it. The sandwich we ordered didn't have much bacon and we were about disappointed. Overall our experience was good, and we will come back to try other items.

Our visit was not so great. I guess we were just expecting alot better. I got the impression this restaurant has new owners, possibly?? Our waiter was great, but the other employees were very loud and yelling back and forth about personal stuff. Pancakes were rubber, hashbrowns very bland, chicken fried steak was not good at all. Tasted lime it was fried in old, dirty oil. I don't know that we'll be back.

The order was quick and came out hot. The pancakes and the steak was soon good. Staff were helping everyone during the bemused hour after church. Lots to look at while waiting for food. And it was very clean.

I have been to this place for breakfast a few times now but never seem to had a chance to review. Breakfast was decent. However, they do have a variety of selection to choose from. I ordered bacon, eggs, and hash brown. Overall was pretty good. I had requested for crispy bacon and extra crispy hash brown. The bacon was a bit overly done but not bad. Service was mediocre.

I feel like it's getting harder to find the old school breakfast diners. We went during a weekday morning and it wasn't too bad but I know the weekends are crazy ! Service was great . We got a three stack of pancakes ($8.75), standard yummy pancakes. One kids meal which was a decent portion of ham and cheese omelette comes with hash browns and toast $9.25. Final my favorite two eggs any style plate which comes with hash browns or country potatoes and toast or biscuits and gravy ( which you always have to get biscuits and gravy!! ) $13.99. I had forgotten how good their biscuits and gravy are! Always a great place to come for old school breakfast.

Sandy's Country Junction is a perfectly decent place to grab a classic breakfast. The food is solid - nothing groundbreaking, but definitely a step up from the chain spots like Denny's or IHOP. Portions are generous, and the menu covers all the bases you'd expect: eggs, bacon, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, etc. If you're looking for a hearty, straightforward breakfast without a lot of bells and whistles, this place will do the trick. Just don't expect anything exceptional. A good option if you're nearby and want something familiar and filling.

Tasty local breakfast. Friendly staff. Make sure to ask about sides. Huevos Rancheros and waffles and pancakes do not come with sides. And you may want a bit more to eat. Country-fried steak and eggs was a ton of food and came with both potatoes and biscuits and gravy. Just endless tasty gravy. Street parking was easier than the lot behind the restaurant, which was packed with farmers market folks for hours.

I was referred by some colleagues and friends to check out Sandy's country Junction located in Clovis area. First time ever Sandy's country Junction. The parking situation is not great. Once I did find parking and I arrived in the restaurant, I was able to get a seat at the counter where I place my order to dine in. My server for the day was Brett. Brett assisting me right away asked me if I needed anything and let me told me to let me know when I was ready to place my order. I told Brett that I wanted the Stack 'em breakfast which I selected the pancakes, scrambled eggs, and the ham. As I was patiently waiting for my order, I received the eggs and ham, and then I received waffles instead of the pancakes I ordered. I was informed that they ordered the waffles instead of my pancake, and their mistake. I would have to wait longer for pancakes my inital order. I was able to speak with the supervisor on duty, was Paulina. I immediately form Paulina. There was a mistake with my order and I did not receive my complete order as requested. Paulina was able to assist me promptly and to correct the issue right away. The food was delicious despite not receiving my correct order. Thank you to Paulina for listening to the Customer and resolving the issue Immediately The noise level was average. There was seating inside and outside if you choose. Here way past the breakfast/lunch rush. Fifteen minutes before we were waited on. Now 30 minutes later and no food. I ordered a cold sandwich. Iced tea has no lemon. SLOW!!!!!!! And prices have been jacked up.

I thought this place was alright. We were seated after like 20 minutes, and the service was okay. I felt like they forgot we were there several times, kept having to get their attention for basic things like water. I even had to get their attention for the check, but eventually decided to go up to the front ourselves to pay. Food felt okay, and I got their biscuit gravy, and if you love gravy, this is probably the place to be. They have a heavy hand with the gravy which can be nice. The pancake felt rubbery and the omelette I got was standard. Good place, not sure I'd come back though.

Stopped by Sandy's Country Junction on a busy morning for breakfast. Atmosphere was lively and service was friendly, but the food did take some time to come out. The food was a bit bland especially the chicken fried steak, biscuits, and gravy. I heard good things about their biscuits and gravy, and it was somewhat underwhelming.

The food service was very prompt and while the food took a little bit longer than expected to get to us, the food was worth it. Portions were generous and the whole restaurant was buzzing. I enjoyed myself, thank you.

Ambiance I was informed this place has been here for 35 years, old school nostalgic. There is a counter to eat. Reminds me of the places my grandmother took me to as a child, great memories luv this place. Customer Service Stellar. I asked counter person who put me on waiting list if I can get some coffee while I wait, he brought me coffee I did pay for it with my meal. Jacob our server was great he has worked there 18 years. The customer service is genuinely polite and attentive. Food Chicken Fried Steak, eggs, potatoes, biscuit and gravy. Massive amount of eggs, gravy really good, chicken fried steak a little bit overcooked but not a deal breaker. We came to Clovis to visit my wife's family. This is my favorite breakfast place now. Will order the Wild Bill's Omelet next time.

Didn't even get to try the food. Waited inside while the hostess and other staff members completely ignored us. Approached hostess and advised we'd like a table. Then decided after such an off putting disregard for our presence we left. Drove down the street to Las Mananitas. Much better service from the get go. Sorry Sandy's will not bother going back.

First time coming here, ever...and I kinda feel like saying...where ya been all my life? Seriously, I really loved my first visit here. Came in a group of 9, seated rather quickly, and the service was constant and friendly, anticipating our needs! Though we had one main waiter, practically the whole staff walks around to make sure you're good. Going over and beyond- like for example, they were out of the kid's menus, and I thought I might take a chance and ask if I could have a couple pieces of paper and pens for the kids to draw while waiting...guess what- it was brought out with a smile. All the food came out in a timely manner and was correct. I didn't get pics of all the food, but had to share some of the deliciousness. I ordered a Belgian Waffle and side of Country Potatoes. Also ordered Stack ' em Ups, pancakes and kid's Chicken Tenders. Waffles were by far the star of the show. Just how it should be, crisp on the outside, and warm and sweet on the inside for each bite. I asked for peanut butter and it was no problem. Portion sizes are awesome, prices are doable, and flavors are on point. In cooler weather, I can't wait to eat out in the patio. Love also that local businesses can advertise on the tables, so cute! The decor is simple and inviting. The food is awesome, and service is refreshing! I will certainly be back again soon!

Went in to try again since I was on this side of town and didn't disappoint. I had the pork bender with all pork (ham,bacon,sausage) was on point. Came with hash browns and i substituted with strawberry shortcake which was fire. My wife's had the western omelette and biscuit and gravy which she enjoyed.

Ever since this place extended their hours the food and place has went down! 1- The restrooms were filthy. Toilet paper on the floor, dirty toilets, overall terrible. 2- Only young men were working and not one of them swept the floor or cleaned the dining area. You can tell from opening till the time we arrived at noon not once was the floor spot swept. Overall dirty. 3- Coffee was not hot. Just of few to mention. Will definitely not be returning.

I am super sad about this review. My family has loved this place for years. We went last week, and the amount of filth everywhere was just disgusting! The floor, the ceiling, the walls......and the restrooms were WORSE than a gas station! Definitely does NOT make you want to EAT here! . Get your act together Sandy's! Crossing you off my go to list!

We were seated immediately as we entered the restaurant, service was great. Waitress checked on us and made sure food was good and drinks were refilled. Chicken fried steak tasted great, so did the chile verde plate. Ambiance is like this old fashioned country place. A little pricey but worth it.

Best biscuits and gravy in Clovis/Fresno area. Love their waffles, too. Coffee good. Service is exceptional. They seat you as soon as a table is ready. Always check if you need anything else, and someone always is filling up your coffee cup. Lots of smiling, welcoming folks. Small restaurant, clean, happy place. Nice outdoor partio. Crowded on weekends, but worth the wait!

On our way home from Yosemite we found this spot to stop for breakfast. They have plenty of seatings indoors and outdoors. We ordered: Chicken Fried Chicken with over easy eggs and hashbrowns. The batter was overly salted. The chicken was too thick and chewy. Would've been better as a chicken patty but that's my opinion. Hashbrowns were good though so that's a plus. Biscuits & Gravy was a side option with my meal and it was good. Chicken Fried Steak and Scrambled Eggs with country potatoes and wheat toast . Much better than the chicken . Country potatoes were extremely delicious!

Wandered into this quaint lil place looking for a classic Cafe, it was exactly what I was looking for. Young man who greeted and sat us was very polite and accommodating gave my wife and I great service. I grabbed a good ol bacon burger cooked perfectly, with toppings at my selection. My wife felt like biscuits and gravy which was 2 biscuits, two eggs & sausage patties smothered in milk gravy. Reminded me of a style you just dont see around everywhere. We're completely satisfied, filled and ready for more. JK, It'd have to wait for our next visit. Hopefully soon? If I make it a five star, then it's not a secret anymore.

Nothing special: service was really nice, but the food wasn't too amazing. Biscuits were really soggy from the gravy, plus coffee was way too expensive.

Arrived at 822am, seated at 920am. After 10am and no food yet. Terribly managed . The server said the owners were cheap so they don't offer fresh strawberries anymore . Enough said. Don't recommend now or ever.

Food was good and served quickly. Tad bit on the pricey side, especially with the coffee at $4.50 a cup. Will certainly come back.

Amazing omelette. I ordered a cheddar, spinach, tomato omelette. It was delicious. Served with beautiful country potatoes and sourdough toast. Best breakfast in a very long time.

Everything was fantastic. The food was delicious. I ordered eggs benedict and was very glad I did. I tried a few bites of the biscuits and gravy which was amazing! The fried chicken was also delicious. The service was great. Everyone was so friendly and very attentive. They refilled our coffees frequently. The food came out fast and the portions were large. Even my toddler had a great time. My family and I were there for my birthday and several people wished me a happy birthday! At the end they brought out biscuits with strawberries and whipped cream. Will definitely be returning.

Not all restaurants are meant to serve salads and this place is one of them. Lettuce does not like to be frozen and this ice berg lettuce is proof of that. I don't like to complain but after this experience, I've learned that it is okay to request a meal that is not up to par, be sent back. I ate the hard morsels of chicken and the toppings that concealed the unpleasant, frozen lettuce that began to slowly thaw. I was incredibly hungry so I picked at the first layer of this salad bowl. We did let the waiter know that the salad was unsatisfactory and we were given 50% off of the salad. Service was okay. Ambiance was mediocre, we enjoyed the sun out on the outside patio.

We were seated right away in this country themed restaurant. Our drinks were served right away and the staff were all super friendly. I had the breakfast burrito and it was different from others I've had and it was great! It's topped with their chili and had everything I would like in it. My wife had the French dip, it was good but if they sliced the beef thinner and stacked it and added cheese it would have been great. Food was served very quickly! Overall it was pretty darn good!

The food was okay...hashbrowns were a bit too undercooked in a few spots but loved the portion size for the money. Omelet was cooked perfectly with lots of meat. I was debating on whether I wanted hashbrowns or biscuits and gravy and it comes with both! Less than 55 for 3 of us was a great deal. The service actually deserved the tip for once...they kept offering to fill our cup of coffee and waters while constantly asking if we are okay with everything. Tables were clean but someone needs to clean the walls next to the tables..pretty nasty but I've seen worse...food was rated so high simply because of the service provided..affordability..and portion size.

The food was great and the service was outstanding I love the ambiance of the place my brother and I really enjoyed being there I will be back for more of this goodness they are serving up who knew? Ray L.

Food is good. Portion sizes are great for price. Wait time is TERRIBLE. Sundays seem like their busiest days and they're not equipped to handle it. It seems like everyone in the restaurant is waiting for their food. All staff is horsing around while food is at the window waiting to be ran. Water was terrible. Tasted like concrete. As someone that works in the hospitality food business, this is ridiculous. Not coming back here.

The Italian Omelet is one of their signature and most ordered dishes. However, I felt the marinara sauce was a bit too tangy for my liking. It was not terrible but I did not finish my plate. The service was disappointing. Even after a lengthy wait to be seated, I had to wait for several minutes more before I found out who my server was and a longer wait still before I was able to order. And it was actually one of the bussers who refilled my coffee and brought me my check. Really the best part of my experience that morning was enjoying their whip cream topped hot chocolate. The long wait time and indifference and apathy among staff was a huge turn-off. I am unlikely to make a return visit.

Food was great , service was excellent and prices are reasonable, always a wonderful experience when Sharing a meal with Family.

The service was great! He was always checking to make sure we were good even in a packed setting. The parking was horrible though, we parked down the street since the parking lot the restaurant was connected to was packed. The eggs in the Benedict was over cooked so the yolk wasn't runny :( hash brown was good (we asked for extra crispy). Not a bad place, better than most but Huckleberry's still has the best Cajun Egg Benedict!

We have Mothers Day reservations for 6 of us at 1:00 pm, so we'll see how it goes and let y'all know!

Very good food which is why it's always packed completely full even the outside tables. Don't go on weekends if you want to get it fast. Worth the wait though it's sooo good

Im not sure how Sandy s got 4 stars. Maybe they changed management. I've been there years ago and they were better. Its more expensive than the other breakfast places I go. We sat on the patio and it was cold by the door. $5 for soda or coffee. I ordered French dip and got cold roast beef with mayo. My wife got sick from the eggs in the omelette. The service was cheerful buy they lost my card for a while when I handed it to them to pay. Its nicer inside than outside but you can have dogs on patio. It gets crowded Towards 1030. Bs cafe Sunnyside sierra smaller better or even Eagle house a fee blocks south are good alternatives.

My pup and I tried Sandy's after receiving horrible service at another restaurant that we actually left since no one came outside to take our order. Sandy's was wonderful! Wait staff was amazing! So friendly and quick. Food was delicious!! We will definitely be going back!

Parking was terrible the day that I visited, but there wasn't a wait for Sandy's. We were sat immediately and the service was good. Very polite and efficient. The food was good but it wasn't anything special. I likely won't return simply because there are other places that I like better.

Enjoyed a Sunday lunch with my family. We were a party of 9 coming in one hour before closing and were seated within 5 minutes. Glasses of ice water were brought moments after seating which was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. The gravy was delicious and not too salty and the potion size was perfect. My meal included 2 eggs I ordered over easy and country potatoes. I practically licked my plate clean. My glass was refilled with ice and water often and the servers were very nice. We will be back again.
