I got the #9 Tamale and Enchilada (Cheese) very delicious and very fast ! I also ordered the happy hour 3-5 PM 3 chicken tacos for $6 and it was so juicy and savory, especially with the red and green salsas. Complimentary dessert was sweet enough to satisfy my sugary craving after. :) Will be coming back in the future.

Our first visit. My wife had Pueblo Lindo burrito with chicken - very good. And I had Chile Verde (pork). Also very good. Atmosphere down rated one as it was a bit loud with a group near our table, but that's just chance. We'll be back.

Google
Food was amazing g and the staff was great. The only issue I had was the food was scrimping on the sauce. From the pictures you would expect a gallon of sauce. Also, wish they would have told me on the up charge on the extra chips and salsa. Guess I should have asked before they put it on the table. I will go back again for sure but I will know better next time

Our lunch date was very delicious! I had the chile rellano, tamale, enchilada(shredded beef) combo meal. The tamales are made fresh in house. The meal was very good. Our server was very attentive and friendly. I didn’t get his name. Overall, it was a great lunch experience! 2nd visit, I had the Mexican pozole. It was very good with a side of sour cream!

My husband took me out for dinner a few days ago and brought me too your location. I had the seafood alambre? Seafood in tamarind sauce. It was outstanding, so delicious. And the salsa was so good. I could eat it with a spoon if you let me. The service was wonderful and I loved the atmosphere. Definitely my new favorite place for Mexican food. Thank you so much. We will be back soon.

Google
We don't eat out at Mexican restaurants very often, they all seem to taste the same. So it has taken us a while to try out Pueblo Lindo and boy have we been missing out! We were both very surprised at how much flavor was in every bite! Everything was absolutely at a higher level than your typical Mexican restaurant. We can't wait to go back and try something else, or maybe just get what we had before! They also have a full bar with a great selection of unique cocktails and beers, *it's not the same... service and food have definitely declined... sad to see

Checked out this restaurant last week. I ordered a margarita & my sister ordered a pina colada. We both liked the drinks. The chips & salsa were typical for a Mexican restaurant. For meals I ordered enchiladas presumidas. These were cheese enchiladas with green tomatillo sauce which I love green enchilada sauce over red. I really liked the rice & beans as well. Loved the guacamole on this dish! My mom ordered the seafood burrito & it was filled with baby shrimp & crab meat along with some veggies. My sister & her boyfriend both ordered two ground beef enchiladas with a ground beef taco as well. Presentation was beautiful. Portion sizes were great. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. They bring it little chip desserts for the table. They were okay. My gripes about this place would be the charge for salsa & chip refills. But we didn’t know that until we received our bill with extra charges & they also charge extra if you pay with a credit card.

Stopped by to pick up and try some chicken mole and some Chile Colorado. Spent over $40 in total. Mole Sauce is definitely NOT homemade or authentic. Its bland and a generic paste that they are using just like every other "Authentic" mexican restaurant in the treasure valley. Serving of chicken was generous. Can't say the same for the rice & beans. The dish overall was bland and a letdown. Chile colorado was also not homemade. The red salsa has the same generic over salted flavor as the store bought canned or in pouches. The beef serving was underwhelming. Wish it matched the chicken. Beef was also dry and not fork tender at all. Very disappointing. Uncomfortable to eat as it dries your mouth & overchewing hurts your jaw. Serving of rice & beans were just as mediocre as the mole. I would not recommend this place at all unless you like giving money away. Lorenas Mexican Grill located at 911 W Fairview Ave in Boise seems to have better food as its a small mom & pop shop where you can actually catch her making homemade tortillas for sopes, huaraches, gorditas, etc. Homemade salsas from scratch. Homemade orange rice. Homemade beans. The most "authentic" mexican food ive had so far. Thanks Pueblo Lindo but this is why I dont take recommendations from people who know nothing about the culinary arts. Cooking isnt about making safe food but feeding people's lives. Unfortunately I did not find that here. Just another place that wants to drain your wallet.

Yelp
I got take out so this review is for that. I value cost for the quality of the food as well. Their website was not working so I didn't know the prices and went off yelp photos. That was my bad and based it off that price since they did not have it on their website. We got the fajita combo $23, seafood combo $28, two orders of carne tacos $13.5 each and a carne asada plate $20ish. The order was there when we arrived about 10 ish minutes so props to quick service. Food was hot. Plenty of space in the restaurant so it looked good for families. Seafood plate - interesting seafood combo. Price was a bit steep. I thought I was paying 17.25 but it was $28, ouch! I wish yelp just took outdated menu photos out. Really doesn't serve any purpose. This was probably the most disappointing item I ordered. You may like it but the flavor was unique with their sauce. On a bed of mex rice with zucchini and carrots and mushrooms. The flavor along with price, 3 stars. You may like it though, just a preference thing. Carne tacos- 4 stars - they were good. No wow factor but definitely got what you expect like it was from a taco food cart. Price was $13 for 3 tacos rice and beans. Carne asada plate - got 2-3 pieces of decent size steak. Grilled veggies rice and beans. Flavor was good, marinated and tender. 4.25 stars Fajita combo- veggies, beef and chix with a side of guacamole and sour cream. I really enjoyed this dish. Flavor was creamy and tasty. 4.25 stars. I think overall based on cost, value and service, it was a solid 4 stars. I would go back and sit down to try more of the menu.

Yelp
Better choice in Eagle than Casa Mexico. Busy place and fast, friendly, efficient service. Busy authentic dining room but no bar. The portions were a good size and full of delicious chicken. Guac was fresh and good. Only downside was the hard shell taco shell and chips. Not fresh and appears to be store bought out of a bag.

Yelp
6/8/24 After a long hot day at the meridian pool, my girlfriend and I decided to check a New Mexican restaurant out. First thoughts was wow this place looks like it gonna be really good. The scenery and atmosphere felt great. The chips and salsa was solid. We both ordered drinks, she got pineapple juice and I got horchata fantastic. Our meals were so good and the staff very friendly and amazing experience! Will come back again

Yelp
Best Mexican food in Idaho, my family's favorite spot ever since they came to Meridian, the service is always on point and they've got the classic mexican culture/ style of ambiance

Yelp
Service is fast and the the team is very friendly but let's be real, Pueblo Lindo is Caucasian Mexican food and for most of Meridian, that's ok but for me, it's underwhelming. Whether it was my vegetable fajitas or my wife's Camarrons a la Diabla, there's a decent amount of cumin, garlic, salt, pepper, and other flavors missing from these dishes. It's a shame. I like the decor, especially the Equipal chairs but minus the wayward plants that need some attention. Our server was friendly and our order came out fast almost too fast. Would I come back? I think this. Maybe during happy hour or just to get away from the emails and Teams calls to have a beer or two. I just need more traditional flavors as if I was in Guadalajara, Guanajunto, or Merida.

Steve D.

Yelp
Went to this restaurant for the first time and came here because of the reveiws. Most of the staff was friendly, our server not as much as the others we spoke with. The margaritas we ordered were on point and a good value. Chips were fresh, but the salsa was on the thin side, it needs more body so that it does not roll off of the chips. The food was OK, but not great. Nothing bad, just not as flavorful as Mexican food should be. My son had the Arroz Con Pollo it was decent but had an almost ketchup taste. The Chile Verde was OK but it was just missing something. Similar with other dishes our group had. For the quality and flavor of the meal I felt the prices were on the high side. We really wanted it to be great but it did not meet our expectations.

Yelp
Everything was fabulous! The atmosphere, the service and the food. Prices were reasonable also! The quac was the best I've had I. idaho. Definitely going there again.

Yelp
This is probably the closest to real Mexican food I've found here in the treasure valley, aside from just the street tacos at Tito's in Kuna, but I had the Chile Rellenos and I swear it had a sweetness to the inside and it was super runny. It was a little odd. Made me think they use condensed milk in their cheese or something. Not sure! The location is great with plenty of parking and the inside is adorable with Mexican tables and chairs and the plates are MASSIVE. The staff are so nice and welcoming and all were attentive! Anyone that walked by checked on us, not just our server! I want to go back to try something other than the relleno!

Sherry S.

Yelp
Pollo Asado (to go) along with a larger order of chips and salsa - The meal is enough food for 2-3 people! Absolutely delicious, love the whole beans versus refried for a healthier option - Hard to see in the photo but there are two chicken breast (well seasoned) along with a side of tortillas - I am very happy.

Yelp
It's a miracle that I was even able to get my husband to try another Mexican food place in the Treasure Valley, as so many are quite disappointing. I love when you walk in, you are hit with the smell of home cooking and chargrilled goodness. Hubby ordered the Pueblo Lindo Enchilada with ground beef, I ordered the Pueblo Lindo burrito with chicken. Everything came out quickly for the kitchen, hot and fresh tasting. Everything was rich and flavorful, very large portions, so there's a lot for what you pay for. There are no sides that come with either of these dishes...and unless you really like to eat a lot, they aren't really needed. Only drawbacks are that you only get one basket of chips...additional charge if you want more. Bummer since the salsa is so wonderful but you don't get enough chips with the first basket to enjoy that and chips with dinner. The Cadillac margarita was a super heavy pour of tequila...to the point that it almost felt like that was all I was drinking. Some people may prefer that, but if that's the case, I would have ordered shots. Also, a surcharge for using credit, so bring cash. Otherwise, the service was prompt and friendly, though cola refills were never offered (maybe not an option?). Luckily, hubby loved his time at Pueblo Lindo and we can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Authentic Mexican food, homemade green and red sauce the best I've had!!! Friendly service, they are very efficient and work together as a team! The food was very good! I have ordered several things and they are all good! We will be back 1,000 times! Gracias amigas!

Yelp
We came here for dinner with the kids. The service was fast. The food was ok but for the price I would expect better quality. I asked the server specifically if the kid's burrito has anything spicy in it and he said no! When he brought the food the kids couldn't even have the second bite because it was spicy. And same thing happened with my order. Seems like they use the same sauce for all their dishes!! At the end I would give one for the food, 3 for the ambiance/ service and would never go back there again!
google avatar

Sergio A.

Yelp
Warning. Sneaking in a 3.5% "use of credit card" surcharge is an insult to consumers. No doubt this establishment uses credit to run its business. So why penalize your customers? Do all your suppliers charge you 3.5% when selling to you? Deceptive? Just look at the receipt. BIG BOLD PRINT called TOTAL. Then the sneaky, smaller little line below it which is the REAL TOTAL. Inspecting my card account showed the higher amount was charged. Scanning the previous reviews, this upcharging has been noted before and the business has chosen to not do anything about it. The receipt will be sent to the Idaho Attorney General for review. WARNING: Their website has been hacked and is a risk to your computer.

Yelp
We stopped in for an early dinner. Girls night out and it was a lovely time and the service was really good. The food was delicious. I would give it more stars if the ambiance was a little more polished and clean.Maybe updated decor would help the experience.

Mike A.

Yelp
The food was not good at all, service was poor the burro meat was dried out and not eatable.. I will never go there again, gross, taco bell is better

Yelp
Seated promptly on a Sunday afternoon. We got drinks within minutes and order was in within 5. Chips and salsa, along with a bean dip, we're constantly replenished. Food came out within 10 minutes and everyone enjoyed their dishes. Highly recommend a combo plate if you're hungry, nice to try a variety of items, #17 is my favorite! Salads are quite large and all entrees come with ample sides. Love this little spot and glad we can go there pretty much anytime and get a seat with incredible service, food, and staff!

Yelp
We've been searching for a place that is as good as Puget Sound Mexican restaurants and we finally found it!!!! This place blew us away!!! Food was very flavorful! The staff was attentive and on top of refills (drinks as well as salsa). Salsa was not too spicy (I have acid reflux and this did not trigger any episode - which most salsas do). Great atmosphere with cute decorations and unique tables and chairs. Great prices too! Very fair for the portions provided! We will definitely be back!!
google avatar

Kelsy P.

Yelp
Best authentic Mexican food in Boise! They have a big menu, it was so hard to choose. You get a lot of food for a good price. The enchiladas a La crema were rich and the pastor alambre was the perfect combination of spicy and sweet. They have a full bar and the margaritas were great. Service was fast and the staff was very nice. The guacamole left a little to be desired and they really need a good website to give guests more information about their great restaurant!

Yelp
A hidden gem!!! I've driven through this parking lot several times and past this intersection countless times and didn't notice Pueblo Lindo until this past weekend. So happy I finally saw their sign and checked it out. Went for lunch on New Year's Eve with my wife and her mother. We were all impressed and I will definitely return again. Our entrees included Seafood Alambre (truly amazing!!!), Seafood Burrito, and Pueblo Lindo Burrito. Each dish looked and tasted delicious! Service was solid. Decor was fantastic. Menu had so many wonderful options to choose from -- although I may always stick with the chef's specialty Seafood Alambre, since it would be very difficult to top that!!!

Marc J.

Yelp
I ordered the fajitas. They had a poor taste. I ate maybe two bites and left my plate full. They didn't even offer to take the meal off of my tab. Very poor quality food and service
google avatar

Kayla H.

Yelp
This place is amazing! The best service and the best food! We have gone a few times and every time we are impressed. My favorite is the pollo tacos. Their beans and rice are to die for!

Kory F.

Yelp
So I went to Pueblo Lindo for lunch today. Food and service were good, but... When the bill came it was almost $24.00 for a burrito and a soda!! On top of that there was a $0.61 order processing fee!!! WHAT THE HECK!! Now they are charging to take my order?! That's cRaZy. Next they will be charging a fee if you want a clean table. So beware!!! I'm going somewhere else next time.

Christine S.

Yelp
Fast and friendly service. Good chips and salsa. Family liked the refried beans as well.

Hal And Jodi B.

Yelp
Firstly, they accounted a large party during peak hours without a hiccup. Food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their entrees. Server was superb checking in frequently . We were very pleased and returned again later in the week.

Yelp
I have been to this place many times and never been disappointed. The servers are attentive, the food is excellent as are the margaritas. Love going there!

Yelp
We've tried many Mexican restaurants here in Boise and this by far the best in our opinion! Food is very tasty and fresh. Some dishes in other restaurants with rice, beans, and entree disappoint often. Everything tastes the same! Not so here....we loved!
google avatar

Darin R.

Yelp
Love this place! Good food, plenty of it, good service, fast, clean, great prices plus full bar!

Rocco M.

Yelp
Great food. Been to the McCall location a handful of times and Meridian twice. Both are very consistent and make great clean dishes. A good choice if you are in the mood for Mexican food
google avatar

Kassie S.

Yelp
Jenny was so sweet & gave us a wonderful experience! We got the Enchiladas Jalisco & Seafood Alambre - both were DELICIOUS! Very accommodating staff in a cozy family setting. Love everything about this place!

Yelp
I mean, my heavens...This place is ON POINT. Service was lightening fast and the food was incredible. I got the shredded beef tamales and they were amazing- melt in your mouth. Coming from Southern California I didn't expect to get this level of Mexican food in Idaho but this exceeded my expectations

Rani C.

Yelp
What happened Pueblo Lindo?? Are you under new ownership, do you have a new chef??? All I know is, tonight has left me with the heebie jeebies. First, my diet coke came. What in the dirty dish water was that? When's the last time you cleaned your soda machines? I tasted my daughter's lemonade. Same...taste. I'm not exaggerating, go take lessons from McDonalds on soda machine cleanliness. Then, I ordered something I have gotten many times before, and this was not the same even remotely. Camarones a la diabla.. DIABLA, meaning SPICY. There was ZERO spice in fact I would rename it Camerones a la Ketchup. It was litterally sweet, and tasted like it was only made with ketchup. Zero spice, flavor... it was gross gross gross. I still shudder when I think about it. I have had this before, it was delicious, i do not know why you changed it. I added lots of the cholula sauce and it couldn't save it. I ate 2 shrimp, tried to swallow a 3rd and just couldn't do it. I ended up just eating my beans and rice. Last, we ordered the Fried Ice Cream...seriously...what has happened? It used to be delicious. I didn't know Fried Ice cream could be made without sugar. The only sweetness on it now was the jam. The ice cream had no sugar, the topping had no sugar. It was also soggy not crunchy. Another something we couldn't finish. Now did we mention it while we were there?...No, cause I don't like making people feel bad, but I got home thinking, wow, I don't know what happened, but they need to know. As of now we will never go back.

Clark S.

Yelp
Incredible food! Genuinely better than any Mexican restaurant I've been to in the valley. Very flavorful but not too salty. Prices were good, service was amazing. Don't want to glaze this place too hard but they give everyone at dinner a free dessert, so you should go.

Yelp
Food 4.5/5 Service 4.5/5 Ambiance 5/5 This place was great. I check the reviews before I took my girlfriend here for date night. The restaurant was packed and they got us in within 5 minutes. Food was very fast coming out of the kitchen. Our server was quick and tentative. Everyone was having a good time. I would recommend this establishment :)

A S.

Yelp
Great food - great service! Try any of the soups they are delicious. I visit Boise about 3 times a year and this stop is a must!

Malinda W.

Yelp
We came on Sunday night for the first time. There was a little wait but the place was packed! The staff were all super nice and the food was great!! Every sauce we tried was unique which we loved!!

Yelp
Amazing, Authentic, Best Mexican food ever. Had my 2nd visit yesterday. I'm looking forward to my next night out !!!
google avatar

Dianna L.

Yelp
First time eating here and I will definitely be back!! The service was amazing. The people are so kind and so lovely. We ordered and the food came out right away. The food was delicious! Menu is huge, so much to choose from. Decorated really nice. Clean and fun. Looking forward to our next dinner!

Scott L.

Yelp
Food is awesome and as close to true Mexico food you can find in Idaho. It is a little pricey but service is good and everything we have eaten here is always good. Also a little loud on the weekends, but highly recommend it.

AM J.

Yelp
Good food, fast and friendly service - but I wish they'd pick up their phone! I needed to order a large amount of food to go and had to drive into the restaurant to place the order instead of being able to order over the phone and then pick it up later in the day when it was ready. PS. Get the Enchiladas Crema - they're delish!
google avatar

Jody M.

Yelp
Food was good but service was lacking. I was there with my daughter and granddaughter and her husband. We were seated promptly and received chips one little bowl of salsa. Got our drinks. Then proceeded to order. We got our food but they forgot the quacamole and fried jalapeños I ordered. The waiter didn't come back to check on us for long time. My granddaughter spilt her water we used our napkins and needed more. We noticed the woman behind us who ordered alcohol drinks were getting asked several times if they needed anything. Later he brought out bill. We were charged for the food I never got. After it was corrected we were charged 3.5% more for using a credit card. If I would have known I would have brought cash. Needless to say I still tip accordingly to the service I receive and usually tip pretty high. The waiter lost out in this one.
google avatar

Gisela J.

Yelp
I been to a lot of Mexican restaurants and by far this one has the best authentic tasting Mexican food. The rice reminds me of my mom's cooking. The fajitas are so good the chicken and rice was so good the chicken was tender and full of delicious flavor. The service was polite and good. We did have a missed up with the tortilla order we got corn instead of flour but not to bad.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! This location is set back from the street, next to Lucky Perk Coffee behind the Walgreens. We've had exceptional service and consistent food, every time we've stopped by. It's really tasty and the quality of their carne asada is superb. As other Yelpers have said, you can easily grab a quick, hearty meal for the price of a fast food combo. The wait staff are all friendly and attentive and you feel immediately welcomed when you arrive. This is a family business and that's one reason why I like this place because supporting small, local businesses is essential. My husband LOVES Chile Colorado and is usually disappointed whenever he orders it because most restaurants use poor quality meat that ends up being hard, stringy and too fatty for his taste. He has ordered this almost every visit now with only one time where he had their Pozole (and he loved that too!) and swears it's the best he's had! My photos prove it too! I typically order their carne asada but also love their tacos, enchiladas and machaca. They have daily food and drink specials, that vary from enchiladas or chicken fajitas and these are all well-priced. One tip, I have is to ask for their habanero salsa, if you dare! It's much spicier than the one that normally comes with their chips. They also have a medium salsa that I prefer and it's tasty too! So, if you're craving a quick, hot meal or just want to partake in their Happy Hour, you won't be disappointed at Pueblo Lindo's!

Yelp
My husband and I are from Phoenix and we were visiting his mom in Meridian. She knows we love Mexican food, so we ordered food to go on our way to Friday night bingo. We got the enchiladas and some beans and rice burritos. The portions are huge, so we all had left overs for the next day. It was good. I thought the salsa was good as well.
google avatar

Bridget W.

Yelp
We heard this place was voted best Mexican food in the treasure valley, so we figured we would give it a try. We went in on a Monday around 1 and it was fairly busy. We got the chimichanga with cheese sauce instead of sour cream and Pollo a la crema. Of course we had to try their drinks. We ordered a mango margarita and a pina colada. First of all, the food came out so fast! And even better, it was delicious! The food was definitely made with love! The drinks... had so much flavor and hit the spot. The mango margarita had a chamoy and tajin rim. So good! This place is definitely a winner! Super friendly staff and amazing food! Adorable restaurant with such cute decor. Will be back soon!

Michaelene M.

Yelp
Food was great, margs were pretty good. Chips and salsa were yummy but they charge for more salsa. Service a little slow but nice to have good Mexican food in Idaho.

Ryleigh B.

Yelp
We have not been out to dinner in a while and decided to go support a new local restaurant (Eagle location). We have been to the meridian location and were very impressed and were excited to go again but to the new location. However we were very disappointed. We received someone else's food, but didn't want to be those people who complained. My husband started to cut through the steak when the waitress walked up with the correct food/ the issue with this is that the waitress took the wrong plates that received( that we already touched) and served them to the actual customers that ordered the plates and didn't tell them . Sadly we won't be back .
google avatar

Scott P.

Yelp
Wonderful Mexican restaurant with many authentic dishes. Service was on point, portions were generous and the chips were fresh. We ordered queso dip but it was yellow cheese as opposed to the white cheese I am more accustomed to. I really didn't care for this cheese dip. Nothing wrong with it in general, it just wasn't to my taste. The space is open and welcoming and was very busy the night we were there. Go early. I would definitely make the drive to eat here again. Delicious!
google avatar

Kevin H.

Yelp
Food and ambiance -- very good. Frustrated with their "credit card" surcharge that INCLUDES a surcharge for a debit card too. The surcharge is not the issue - the issue is advertising it as a credit card surcharge when it should be advertised as an any-card surcharge (debit & credit).
