The 23 Best Restaurants in Cincinnati, Ohio | Eater
"Northside Yacht Club is one of two landlocked boat clubs in Cincinnati. Founded by two longtime members of Cincinnati’s music scene, the Yacht Club used to be one part punk venue and one part restaurant, the latter known for smoked wings (or cauliflower “wings,” one of many vegan alternatives on the menu) and award-winning poutine topped with fresh cheese curds and duck-fat gravy. These days, the crowds come for the irreverent, limited-time menus, which gleefully imitate and elevate classics from chain eateries; the Yacht Club has collected a number of cease-and-desist notices, one of which is reprinted on the packaging of a beverage formerly known as the Capri Suns of Anarchy. The kitchen also turns out smoked dishes and seriously good bar food, like pulled pork smoked for 15 hours." - Andy Brownfield
Rock-and-roll bar meets gastropub—with smoked wings, strong cocktails, and late-night neighborhood parties. A perennial CityBeat readers’ favorite, NSYC embodies Northside’s inclusive, music-loving spirit without losing the craft behind the bar.
Once a week this beloved bar turns out a boisterous Sunday brunch: breakfast poutine with local goetta, migas, waffles, and big‑energy bloodies. A neighborhood favorite that champions local makers like Urban Stead and CinSoy.
Stopped in for lunch today and everything was delicious. The nautical theme and lights were awesome. Went with the double smash burger and poutine fries, and the garden tofu wrap with potato salad and frickles. The burger was spectacular and the poutine was a perfect side. The garden tofu wrap was amazing and I was disappointed I didn't get two. The spicy garlic aioli and frickles were great together and I highly recommend getting them with your order. I can't wait to go back, go check it out!

My fiancee and I had our engagement party at NSYC’s Flamingo Lounge last night and it was wonderful! Jessica was a great server, and everybody loved the food and atmosphere! The space was the perfect size for our 40 guests. Thank you!

Had a few mixed cocktails from their menu, the pickle martini and the yachtsman. Both were very good. Had the frickles as an app, also very good. Kitchy ambiance, good drinks, and good service. Can't go wrong here.

Went to the NSYC twice in '25. Love it. Very quirky in a so many good ways. Food is way better than avg bar food. Neighborhood and parking may sketch some ppl out but I like it. I haven't sat outside but can't wait to go back to do so. I've heard that the place gets pretty crazy when the bands play. I *think* the music is mostly metal, electronic and edgier but IDK for certain.

Let's start with those wings..... Just Wow. Some of the best I have ever had. Fall off the bone good. Our server was fantastic and the bartender was nice enough to let us try the famous Peanut Butter Tequila. Phenomenal.
