Decided to check out this new spot for Saturday brunch. Super busy but it’s very easy to get on the waitlist & the wait wasn’t over long. Parking is tough but I was extremely lucky and nabbed a spot in the tiny lot out front. Service was fast and friendly. Food came out crazy fast but we definitely ordered the popular items. The garlic beef spaghetti was delicious & really enjoyed the rice rolls and fried chicken. Big fan of the iced peach tea too! Very cool decor and fun atmosphere. It’s also very family friendly if you come with children. Personally loved the food and service and will be back!

I don’t usually write reviews, but the char siu & egg rice at BaYao deserves a shout-out. You can tell right away how much care goes into this dish. The char siu is made from top-quality pork shoulder—perfectly balanced between lean and fatty, tender without being greasy, and full of that classic Cantonese sweetness. The fried egg is another highlight. The edges are crisp, the yolk still soft and shimmering, almost like a shy little wink on the plate. Break it open and let it run over the char siu… pure magic. The rice is honestly addictive. Every grain soaks up the char siu sauce, making each bite rich, fragrant, and impossible to stop eating. And the greens on the side? They do more than just sit there—they reset your palate just enough to get you ready for the next wave of flavor. This “comfort-killer” rice bowl lives up to its name. If you’re anywhere near Boston and craving something that hits both the stomach and the soul, this is the one.

Place is so cool. Love the decor and trendiness of the dishes and drinks! Looks better than it tastes though. Milk tea taste like coffee, chicken pineapple bun sandwich tasted like an American fried chicken sandwich. Definitely fun but more for the experience than for the taste.

Finally we have a cha chaan teng that is decent! I love their mixed sauce rice rolls, curry fish balls, satay beef and egg sando, bolognese baked spaghetti, and LEMON ICED TEA! This place is always packed and I can see why now.

Stopped by for lunch and the chicken rice omelet surprised me (taste good and a big load of chicken thigh). Like it. My kid like the idea of the Bear Milk tea. Will come back many more times.

I went there for the first time earlier this week and I had told come back three days later for my birthday. I love the food! The decorations is so fun and visually stimulating. Every single item I've had (not all depicted here) was delicious. I live on Malden, so the fact that I came down all the way to Quincy twice in a week should tell you what I think of this place. I'm still not done trying all their menu!

This place is hopping on a Saturday. I love their efficient and automated waitlist system. It is part of a chain of Asian/Italian fusion restaurants. I got honey char served over a large bowl of rice. The char was delicious and affordable; I didn't pay for it. Some vegetables like onions/scallions, carrots, ginger, etc could have enhanced the dish. My friend (the payer) got a lasagna-looking dish loaded with pork chop. He definitely left full. I want to try that next time. They also had good french toast breakfast type things and dishes sizzling and smoking as they came to the table. Gotta try one of their locations at least once. Also delicious beverages.

This new spot just opened and it’s already pretty busy. The restaurant itself is small with no parking, and the waiting area feels cramped, but if you’re only 2–3 people the wait isn’t too long. The Hong Kong–style décor is eye-catching, though the menu doesn’t have pictures, so it helps to check reviews beforehand. Most people seemed to order the chicken rice, which I tried and found both tasty and generous in portion. The toast was also good and a bit different, while the milk tea was decent, but the iced bear milk tea wasn’t worth the extra $2 since it’s basically just a frozen ice bear, so don’t FOMO like I did. The low point for me was the siu mai, which was mostly dough, and the rice roll which felt pretty average. Overall, the place is noisy because of the small space ‘cause everyone talks loudly and it’s hard to even hear the staff.
