Where to Eat in London This Weekend | Restaurant Recommendations | Eater London

"A tiny vegetarian café in a converted Victorian dairy serving a changing but well-executed menu of breakfasts, hot dishes and vibrant juices: examples include roasted red pepper, puy lentil and halloumi salad, garlic-heavy spaghetti with tomatoes and toasted cashews, and hearty savoury-stuffed pancakes. The chef’s Mediterranean-leaning background shows in the balanced, flavourful plates and the lively juice selection." - James Hansen

Google
Such a gem of a place! I love to support local businesses in the community — was so impressed with the high quality ingredients used, everything tasted fresh and made with love. It’s very difficult to find a cafe that serves high quality ceremonial grade matcha, and this place does just that!! Thank you 💗

Google
Absolutely top notch brunch at Blue Brick Café today. I had vegan, friend had veggie 'Ooh Marmi'. Both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Friendly staff and nice surroundings. Decent loo too. But mainly delicious food!!!!!

By happenstances I came across the blue brick café. I had tofu umami and avocado with a flat white and I was lucky enough to sit outside. What a great little find.

I’ve been coming to Blue Brick Cafe for years because the owner is lovely and still cooks delicious food, it’s the kind of home-made cooking that’s hard to find. Unfortunately, the place itself could really do with a proper clean and a bit more attention to presentation. The atmosphere sometimes feels a bit careless, and the staff don’t always appear very professional, loud chat and even steps out for a smoke while customers are eating. With a little more care and cleanliness, this café could easily be one of the best in the area.

Food is so yummy and delicious. Tastes really good quality and so many vegan options. Atmosphere great, feels like eating in someone’s home. Service we found to be quite cold. We got everything on time / servers were helpful but just not very friendly.

Wonderful cafe. Fresh, tasty veggie breakfast & lunches made with love and full of surprise. We came in for a simple avo on toast this week as a quick snack and all the same left so pleased thanks to the care in presentation, garnish, & seasoning. ❤️❤️❤️

Google
Very good vegetarian and vegan restaurant in south london. Great big breakfast, spaghetti and sandwich options. Accompanying drinks delightful. Wonderful desserts to complete the culinary festivities. Quaint and eclectic decor, with lots of single/couple seating and a few larger tables indoors too.

Great food and great service! Cool little cafe which provides very yummy vegetarian and vegan fare and decent coffee. Very good Eggs, particularly the scrambled eggs which I had (a generous amount too). I noticed in some of the photos that they used to be cash only but they do take card now.

Yelp
A place that doesn't accept cards shouldn't be in business in 2018, period. There is no excuse in this day and age to not have a card machine. Sadly, even though the menu looks tempting, I took it off my list for that reason.

Yelp
Love this place. Off lordship lane, around a corner so a little bit hard to find but well worth the look around. Great vegan and vegetarian salads and cozy atmosphere. Have yet not tried the cakes but they look delicious. Loads of vegetable juices etc. Often crowded at lunch time. Cash only. Free wifi.

Yelp
Great little restaurant tucked away near our favourite jewellers, Davies and Vaughan. We had the risotto and soup followed by tea and Bakewell tart. It was all perfectly delicious, flavour combinations of tomato and chilli and mint and leek working so well together. The service was exceptional. Will come back often.

Yelp
It took a bit of time to find but it was really great to take my vegan friend to a restaurant where there was more than one thing he could eat on the menu! He had the full veggie and I had a dish with spiced chickpeas which was quite tasty. Not sure what they put in their sausages but they were delicious. Service and atmosphere were friendly. The whole place had a very cosy, family feel.

Yelp
Lovely café just off busy Lordship lane. They do know their vegetarian food for sure. You can taste the quality and the portions are satisfying. I had the full veggie and super pleased both during and after. I highly recommend the spiced apple and elderflower drink. Tastes a-m-a-z-i-n-g
