Antoni's Italian Cafe

Our first time here and the staff was more than friendly. We asked to be seated outside and the atmosphere was so nice and peaceful. We ate salad, chicken Parmesiana and Veal Parmesiana. I absolutely recommend the Crepe Myrtle drink- 10/10! Dani was our server and she was very sweet, gave great recommendations and was quick! We will be returning.

We visited with Cajun Food Tours for our 1st time. We had a slice of Margherita pizza and dessert. The pizza tasted fresh and the flavor was extraordinary! I dont remember what the dessert wad called, but it tasted like cream cheese ice cream, so delicious!! We had a great experience here, we were served by friendly people, and the overall ambiance of the place was relaxing.

Hands down best service and best lasagna ever. Band was low key and brilliant. Atmosphere in blue room was unbelievable!

I can’t recommend this place enough! Service was impeccable, food was fantastic, atmosphere was quiet and cozy. There are fresh flowers on each table, the decor was adorable with a painted mural on the far wall, and lots of Tuscan touches throughout. Whats funny is my husband is from Lafayette and has never heard of this place. And had I not looked on Trip Advisor for restaurant recommendations, I never would have found them. It’s located in the back left corner of a business center, so it’s definitely a hidden gem. I can’t wait til my next business trip here!

Had dinner tonight with my family. As always this little gem of a restaurant did not disappoint!!! Our server was very knowledgeable and took great care of us. She even came through with our bread request as a substitute for pasta!!! I always order veal at an Italian restaurant. It was tender and perfectly cooked. Kudos for you guys always making it great!!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in town for food, service, atmosphere-everything! Yesterday I called in an order for work for about 20 people, and even though they don't open until 11, the manager worked with us and the kitchen and staff had the food ready right at 11, all labeled and nicely packaged. I love this place so much, I even bought a watercolor of the restaurant from the farmer's market. A true gem.

I've been through and around Lafayette for all my life and never heard of Antonio's. This place hands down WINS BIG. It is a local place not in the normal populous vicinity of Lafayette that most people go to. From the very start, thinking we were underdressed, we were welcomed in and seated immediately even though we had no reservation. It was a wonderful experience. Our staff waitress Makaia C was polite with great recommendations. We started with a Caprese that was absolutely blissful. The bread basket and butter spread had such great flavor and baked soft. I was torn between the veal scallopene or the roasted quail, Makaia recommended the quail and it was fabulous. The serving size was spot on. My wife was on the fence between eggplant parmesan and shrimp and pesto lasagna, again Makaia for the win. She explained the major differences between the two dishes and my wife decided against the very rich lasagna for the night and was more than impressed with the eggplant. It was not dripping with sauce but crusted perfectly with a wonderful seasoning mix. The attention to our needs was never in question and service was absolutely excellent. The owner stop by to check on us and was a delight to talk to you. If you have never been to this place you must try it. We will be back to try other dishes.

Y’all! Olive Garden, WHO? This is my new spot, I’m claiming it now bc not only was the service amazing but the food was some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had in Lafayette. Everything was hot, fresh, & full of flavor. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.

This cute Italian restaurant is a must try in this city for me. The pizza was amazing and the atmosphere was a cozy Italian family feeling. The service was very attentive to our table and the food can out hot and delicious.

Picked up to go order. Had ANTONI's Special pizza which was great! Also the Stuffed Mushrooms that are so very delicious you want to lick the plate.

Top notch service from walking in to walking out. Immediately greeted and seated which was a full house around 7pm. Everything we got was nicely portioned and flavorful. The cleanliness of the restaurant also helps keep them busy because, who wants to eat at a dirty one? Definitely would come back if i'm near.

The food and wine was as good as the hospitality and service. Which was excellent! Great atmosphere! Mom really enjoyed her birthday. Thank y'all!

Excellent food and amazing customer service from our bartender Shannon! He made our time in Lafayette as he recommended Don's seafood, his brother bartenders there. Another great place!

My husband and I enjoyed dinner here for our Friday date night. It has been many years since the last time we ate here, and the food was just as fresh and delicious as it was back then! We plan to return soon! We started off with the bruschetta appetizer, which had fresh tomatoes, just the right amount of garlic, and a topping of basil. Absolutely delicious! I also ordered the Crepe Myrtle, which was refreshing (highly recommend!), and my husband had a glass of Pinot Grigio and a Caesar salad. For our entrees, my husband enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan, which was a generous serving. I ordered the veal scaloppine with the mushroom Marsala sauce. I added on a side dish of capellini and I was offered extra sauce for it (so delicious!). It was served with sautéed vegetables, which were flavorful and cooked well. We finished up dinner with a Honeybee Prosecco and my husband requested a Paloma, which isn't on their drink menu, but our waiter was able to have it made (and it turned out great). Everything was delectable, the ambiance was on par for date night, and the staff was helpful and attentive. We plan to come back soon to try out more dishes and drinks.

Great Italian restaurant with great menu, ambience, and service. Chelsea did a fantastic job helping us to navigate the menu and also accommodating various food allergies. The white bean hummus supreme was very tasty and great for dipping. The pasta with Romano cream sauce was outstanding as well as the pizza. Highly recommended! And for desserts, we walked across the parking lot to Lolli's for chocolates.

Great service. I've been once for dinner and once for lunch. Great wine selection and build-your-own pizza/calzone options! Also really enjoyed the muffuletta with their unique olive/artichoke mix.

Food is excellent. Service not so much. First time the time it took to eat lunch was painful. I think they lost my order. Second time waitress was unfriendly and we had to stop her and ask for everything. They bring bread after you order, well I had to stop her and ask for it. Right after it came so did the food. So good food with pitiful service. Or and they ran my credit card on wrong bill. They credited it back but geez.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet but I did not expect to find one of the best Italian restaurants ever to be hidden away in Lafayette, Louisiana. Antoni's has the best Chicken Parmesan I have ever had, best part is that they don't make the common mistake that many others make by not putting enough sauce on the pasta that comes with the Chicken Parmesan, also I believe they make the sauce themselves. Their cheese bread with the garlic and marinara sauce is amazing. The bread with the butter spread they give you is great as well. I highly recommend Antoni's you will not be disappointed. I wish they had a location here in Houston, TX.

I have eaten here several times and the food is always so good! The lasagna is wonderful. But the pizza is my favorite. Truly appreciate they never disappoint.

I ate there for the first time and the ambiance, food and service was fantastic! I had the salmon and can't recommend it enough. My only problem is that I'll have a hard time eating anything else. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Antoni's is true and authentic Italian gem in the Oil Center with fantastic service. The food was among some of the best Italian we have had, worldwide! The shrimp pesto lasagna was memorable and decadent but not so rich that it was over the top. The pizza was a big winner with fresh and flavorful toppings and a crisp, light crust. I have never had a meal where that was less than memorable.

The food is beyond amazing. I've went back two and 3+ times. And will continue to keep going. Truly love this place

I ate their Guido Americanized Italian style of food. It's over priced. Their Italy is a lot different food wise than the one I grew up in. It's a shame.

I only travel to Lafayette once a month for work and always try to make it here at least once. The service is excellent and the food never disappoints.

We went to another establishment first but didn't have a reservation so we found Antoni's and went there. Shannon was a wonderful host and it was by far one of the best places I've ever been. We sat in the tiny cozy bar within 15 minutes and had great drinks, the best cheese bread, and the very best shrimp, pesto, and spinach lasagna's I've ever had.

The food is delicious. Antoni's Italian Cafe never disappoints. Service is spot on but not fussy, exactly the kind of service i like. Ambiance,warm and inviting. We have loved this restaurant for years.

My favorite restaurant in Lafayette. The food, the ambiance & the service is always excellent. My personal favorite is the cauliflower pizza: however, everything on the menu is so tasty.

We ordered take out from here over the phone. The young lady who helped me was super friendly and helpful with my questions about the menu. We ordered the meatballs and the mushrooms as an appetizer. Both were delicious! I like the pizza crust as well but we've only tried one so I can't make comparisons or recommendations on the other varieties. Overall a solid place for Italian staples.

Friday night early dining at 530p and they were already on a wait. And deservedly so. Service was excellent entrees were served quick and piping hot. Veal Parmesan, wedge salad, tried both soups and they were great. Very reasonably priced. A Lafayette must

Straight to the point. Despite being Valentine's Day I was able to get a to-go order from this place. After I completed my workout at the Rec center in the area. I ordered the Leonardo Calzone (Spinach, artichokes, and Feta), meatball and pasta (Served in a red meat sauce over linguine with aged Romano cheese) and the Focaccia Bread Pudding (Focaccia bread chunks baked with vanilla, cinnamon, and cream. Topped with a Frangelico and Nocello sauce). Leonardo Calzone was huge and flavorful could definitely be a meal for two. The meatball and pasta was pretty pretty good. Sauce could have had a little more flavor but overall it was fine. But I have to admit the star of this particular meal was most the bread pudding. If it came down to having to order just one item from this particular place it would be the focaccia bread pudding. I honestly haven't had bread pudding this good since the one eating some at a Creole restaurant in New Orleans.

Went for our first time, and our waiter was very informative. His excitement about the veal Parmesan got me excited, and it did not disappoint! Will be back! We had the meatball appetizer, bolognese, veal parm, Caesar salad, and lemon tart. Our drinks were really good as well

You cannot eat one bag thing on the menu. I have been here over twenty times and I love everything. Lasagna, spinach salad, steak...you name it, I have tried it! Everything is so good. The mushroom app is insane! Highly recommend. My fave date spot for lunch or dinner. Also, service is amazing.

What a great experience I recently had here. A group of 6 of us dined here for lunch and it definitely lived up to expectations. The vibe was excellent, waitstaff attentive, and the food hit the spot. All dishes were fresh and arrived in a timely manner. Atmosphere is comfortable and seating is well spaced. This is a business I definitely recommend. I'll drop a few pictures.

The scene- from the outside, it perfectly resembles the classic "Italian bistro" anyone can imagine. It's quite charming and the lighting is well done. Inside, it's white tablecloth... but don't let that scare you. We were informed that the idea is to align the experience to the customers, not to confirm the customers to the standard (white tablecloth traditionally equals fancy). They were, in fact, right. I wouldn't show up in basketball shorts and a t shirt, but by no means do you have to dress up. The experience is for you. 10/10 The service- first class. Our server, Brian, was absolutely amazing. Warm, inviting, funny, and very service forward. We noticed the other servers reacting the same way to their tables, and the hostess was hustling around as well. Even the owner was around, lending a hand and checking in on tables. Together they all operated as a well practiced team, which made everything that much special. 10/10 The food- easily the best Italian dining in Lafayette, and would compete with some of the stuff up north. I ordered simple, as a test. Eggplant parm, if you can't get that right, nothing else is worth trying. No need, it blew us away. The eggplant was cooked perfectly, the Pecorino Romano cream was indulgently rich, and the marinara paired perfectly to help cut through that richness. The icing on the cake was that the portion was more than generous, and I expect quite a bit. The free focaccia appetizer is very thoughtful. It's all too easy for an Italian joint to throw out some toasted baguette with butter, but this was a step above. Served with an olive tapenade butter, it's a great start to the meal. 10/10 One thing that's worth noting: the pricing is WAY under what you would expect from this level of dining. They could easily charge $25 or more for the eggplant parm dish, but it was priced at $18. Basically, the experience is 5 star dining, but the bill comes out to what I would spend at a Chilis, for a lack of better explanation. We will most definitely be back.

6 stars if I could rate higher, we were traveling back home to Houston from visiting family in Tennessee and found this gem of a restaurant. We can't say enough good things about Shannon & Nancy! The food was fantastic & the service was the best. The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing meal and the pizza & the meatballs were spectacular. We will always stop here on our way through traveling. Thank you for making our dinner special. It was a breath of fresh air seeing the entire staff happy & smiling. We would like to thank the chef as well!

Antoni's is the best Italian food in Lafayette for sure! The vibe is perfect for date or family time or just friends getting together. Their pizzas are phenomenal, their pasta and sauces are fresh and their dessert is sinful. I always have great, attentive and professional servers there. I'd like to tell you just one thing to try, but I can't because it's all really good. Happy Eating!

A nice out of the way restaurant with some especially good food. The asparagus shrimp soup is creamy good with nice spice taste. Overall good choice for lunch or dinner.

I rarely say this but This hidden gem is THE BEST Italian restaurant I have ever been to! We've ordered the chicken parmesan ($18), 10inch cheese Stallone pizza ($9), meatballs starter ($10), italian meatloaf ($18), and the free focaccio bread. Everything was PERFECT! And to top it off, the service was impeccable too! Our server name was Cameron I believe and I highly this place and him as a server. The price was affordable as well.. This will not be our last!

The staff and the food were excellent! We enjoyed the cheese bread as an appetizer! The marinara sauce that the bread came was was perfect! The Grilled Chicken Breast , topped with artichokes and capers in a white wine butter sauce was delicious! Finished with the bread pudding and it was superb as well! We enjoyed our lunch on the patio on a gorgeous day! We want to come back to try other items on the menu! Also, I love the fact that it's a local joint , you can tell by the quality of the food.

Go check out Ethan, Maddie and Dani at Antoni's! Awesome ambiance and beautiful decor to get things started. Service was on point with Ethan! Dani is so inviting and welcoming. She makes you feel like family. Maddie was so friendly and offered ideas to see and do around Lafayette for the weekend! Now on to the food. Definitely a must stop! Chicken Parmesan was highly recommended by Ethan. This was the best! Calzone was awesome! Meatballs were amazing! Start off with an appetizer of their garlic focaccia with melted cheese with homemade marinara sauce. Was so good, we ordered a second one. Best marinara sauce we ever tried. Finished off with eggnog cheesecake. Soooo good to finish off supper. Make sure to make this a stop while in Lafayette! I think this is a hidden gem for the locals.

We want twice while on the road. It was delicious! Had Caesar salad, pizza, chicken w/capers with awesome vegetables. Special of crab & shrimp manicotti. Louis was our spectacular waiter!

The food was delicious - especially the shrimp and pesto lasagna. Servers were very nice and the restaurant has a homey feel. Large portions. Good value.

Happened upon this gem while driving from Lake Charles to New Orleans, and I stopped here for lunch with my daughter. All of the staff was incredibly kind, even the ones who weren't serving us, our waiter Rick especially -- he was talkative and funny and made the experience so much better. I ordered the calzone, and I think it may be the best calzone I've ever had. I'll be dreaming about it for the rest of my life. My daughter and I also ordered Chardonnay and Moscato, and they were both so delicious that we had to ask for the brands so that we could buy some for ourselves. At the end of the meal, Rick brought us out a serving of cheesecake ice cream on the house, and it was just as incredible as everything else was. Needless to say, we'll be coming back when we get the chance, hopefully bringing the rest of the family with us!

Delicious!!!! Stumbled upon this great restaurant by chance, passing through town. I had Pasta Fresca very good totally hit the spot and my hubby had the pasta and meatballs and pasta that was amazing !! Miss Nancy and owner Eli and our server Jared were wonderful, southern hospitality at its best
