Will Call Bar

Very cheap beers and even better atmosphere. Want a bar just like out of the movies? This is the place. We ordered at the bar and the workers came and checked up on us multiple times!

Amazing service! First of all we had such an amazing sever who came so quickly and was very attentive I wish I remembered her name! And the food and drinks were great! Those really were the best wings and being gluten intolerant I appreciated the dredge being gluten free and they were delicious. I will definitely be back!

First time in Dallas, checked out Deep Ellum section, and Will Call looked cool. Friendly service and they had a DJ. Just be aware that the area gets very busy at night and streets get blocked off, so you have to walk a bit through groups of people on the streets, in order to get an Uber. Maybe don't stay out too late.

Deep Ellum is a great area to visit with some of the coolest shops and restaurants. Had a recommendation to hit Will Call because they had killer wings. Trevor and team did not disappoint. The House Recycle Rub wings and Crack fries were off chart good! I don’t know how they came up with the seasoning but had to be the best wings and fries I have ever had! Also staff was super friendly and made me feel welcome from the minute I sat at the bar. As a side note, they said the steak sandwich is killer, but didn’t have a chance to try as I was full from an app at another spot. I will visit Deep Ellum area again!

J.R. and a team of attentive servers met all my dining and drinking needs. I enjoyed a perfectly prepared Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with the Crack Fries as the side. I washed it all down with my favorite domestic beer, COORS BANQUET BEER. This venue not only serves up Deep Elum Live Music to the music city residents of Dallas, but they also serve REALLY good grub and drinks. Make a point to save and share this Deep Elum spot.

if i could give this business zero stars, i would. my husband and i have been to this restaurant SEVERAL times. at first, the food was amazing, staff attentive, and the atmosphere was even better. A few months ago, we came to eat before going somewhere else.. two days later, we noticed our bill went up $16.. we were confused as to why this happened. i gave them a call and it was handled. my husband and i stopped going for awhile and the decided to give them another chance.. the same server we usually get seemed less talkative. she didn’t come back as frequently to check on us, our food came out overcooked and cold.. our drinks never got refilled .. and it clicked .. she stole the $16 and got upset because we caught on. so, again.. we stopped going for awhile. we were craving wings and some good drinks.. and we decided to go back once more. to also add, it was my husband’s birthday… after ordering our food, our food came out a bit better and quicker.. we had maybe two drinks and we left. we decided to pay with cash to stop any conflict with the card situation. after waiting for the change for about 15 minutes or so, i got up from the table to locate this same server as other times, she was at the bar looking at the computer pretending to put in an order. she noticed us at the bar but did not approach us. it took another person to get the change from her. they had a same conversation and then he came back over to me with the change and apologized for the wait. she tried to get off with our money again. so, we stopped going. it was my birthday yesterday and i wanted to have a good time. we ordered through their QR code and the total was $34.50. that transaction was made at 9:31pm , 12/27. it was a new day and the transaction has been updated by the merchant and it’s $41.50. i have attempted to contact the restaurant to get a refund or just an explanation as to why this continues to happen, but there’s no answer. if you want good food & drinks .. go to will call.. just pay with CASH! i will say that we do tip for GOOD service. every single time we would go , our server will get a tip! but what you’re not about to do is STEAL your tip.

Don’t know if the bald-head, heavy-set, white (or Hispanic) bartender in the black hoodie is racist or what but he was giving those vibes as soon as my date and I came in. As soon as we came to the bar I was about to take a seat, and He asked me to move down to leave open space for whatever reason to the left of me. There was no greeting or warm welcome just immediate demand of me leaving the space open. Then as the night progressed my date and I ordered shy of $100 worth of drinks within 45 mins and on our last drink he proceeds to ask my date to MOVE out of the way for one of his buddies that he let drink for FREE (I watched him tell this man his ticket was FREE). I’ve never been treated like that in this establishment before. The bartenders are normally very nice and respectful. Whoever this man is, he needs to be placed in a position where he is not interacting with the general public.

This was my 2nd time seeing bands in the back room. It's a small stage in a small room with a pretty basic pa setup. Somehow the sound engineer gets 4 or 5 different bands setup and sounding great (in some cases better than the band actually sounds...). Give the sound engineer a raise! Give all sound engineers raises! The staff up front and in back are laid back but still run a troublefree bar. Pros. The new band Nuclear Theory is one to keep an eye on. Lots of asskickery. If you haven't been keeping track of Laredo Two, it's time. They shredded ass and didn't worry about taking names. The drummers in the audience spoke of the Benification of the drumkit in hushed and reverent tones. Ryan plunked on all 5 strings right to the crowds kidneys (and a few spleens), and Tyler.... I'm suprised the fretboard didn't catch fire. Woof. Oh yeah, no idea about the food there. It looked good anyway. I was too busy catching the bands. Next time.

Just a simple appreciation post for the best cheesesteak in Dallas and I've had many! Been coming to Deep Ellum for years. We've drank at Will Call too many times. Finally decided to eat here and everyone's telling me how good the food is here and no one talks about it. Well they were 100% right. Had the cheesesteak and eggs with extra meat cheese peppers mushrooms and just wow! My wife, who doesn't particularly enjoy cheesesteaks, said it's the best one she ever had OUTSIDE of Philly. Oh and the wings are phenomenal too! Just showing some love!

Solid spot! I was walking around the Deep Ellum area with a bunch of coworkers and we decided to stop in here to grab some drinks. We ordered directly from the bar, which had standard service. The vibes were pretty casual and we all hung around having a nice time for a bit. Not sure what they have for a food menu, since we just did drinks. That being said, there's plenty of good BBQ in the area, so I'd probably stick to just drinks for this place.

We popped into Will Call to wait out the rain before the (delayed) Kesha concert and ended up having an unexpectedly amazing time. First of all--Wednesday wing special? Say less. We each got $1 wings--5 Zang and 5 Honey Chipotle--and they were honestly so good I'd come back just for those. Huge shoutout to the bartenders and Big Bill for taking such good care of us. The vibe was right, drinks were good, and they even changed the music to a Kesha playlist to get us hyped for the show. Will for sure be back!

Great food and great fast service. I recommend the hot wingz!! Chef Jose was great!! Very polite and professional. I will be coming back! Again, those wingz were great!

Bianca was very personable and friendly with our party of five. I ordered the Farmhouse Salad and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. My friend really enjoyed his Tejas Cheesesteak he commented on how juicy and delicious it was. We'll definitely be back to try more and the wings too. I heard they were fire too

This is the best place to hang out in Deep Ellum! They have an infinity jukebox, great bartenders, and the recycled rub wings are what my dreams are made of! Can't wait to come back.

Amazing wings. Vibes are very divebar-esque but the wings are delicious. Zang is buffalo and lemon pepper and our favorite.

Continuing my catching up of reviews from our trip to Dallas. This low key bar is located in Deep Ellum and attracted us with it's really cute Christmas lights outside. Not sure if they usually do that year round, but we loved it so we went inside. It's a smaller bar but plenty of seating and whatnot. We grabbed a booth. They also have food too but since we had just eaten, we stuck with just ordering some drinks. I got a tequila mule and it was delish. Our waitress was awesome and checked in with us a lot which was great. We also had some mixed shot too which was pretty good. They played a mix of all kinds of music which I loved. Country, rock, pop, r&b... it sounded like the hacked my playlist, which is probably why I loved it so much. They did have a stand for the DJ but there wasn't one I'm assuming because it was earlier. But definitely is probably a vibe when there's a DJ. I'd definitely come back and hang out at this bar again if we come back to Dallas anytime soon.

Holy hell this place is DELICIOUS. Came here on a recommendation from a friend. We split the steak and egg cheesesteak, the Pickle fries, and wings (recycled rub and zing). The food was out of this world delicious - the cheesesteak was hands down the best we've ever had with perfectly charred meat. The Pickle fries were perfectly crisp and flavorful. The recycled rub wings were my favorite - HUGE and salty/Sweet. On top of all that, the staff is so friendly, helpful with recommendations, and fast. Will definitely be back!

Had my wife's birthday celebration here and it was hands down amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like VIP's. The owner, JR, made some tasty recommendations from his menu and they were superb. The wings are the highlight of the menu, followed by the crack fries! Music was excellent. Vibe was even better!

Stopped by this empty bar in Deep Ellem Friday afternoon for a few rounds with friends and family. The service was just okay. I ordered a frozen Bellini and it was pretty blah. My friends and I requested Don Julio Anejo twice and the first time we were served Blanco shots and didn't correct the error. Second time we specified Anejo again and one drink had to be remade. With plenty options in the area I'm not likely to return.

I came because i saw large screen tvs hoping i'll be able to catch the Chicago bears game here but unfortunately they didn't have the channel, the food ( chicken wings) were good. The service was pleasant and the ambiance was a typical bar ambiance no complaints.

Just got denied entrance with a service animal by the manager Bill. We will be reporting this establishment. This is not an emotional support animal. This is against the American Disability Act. Disgusting. ***I am changing my review to 5 stars after the owner reached out to me personally to apologize and offer to make it right. I appreciate the time and apology. Kudos to this restaurant

Great spot, great staff, great wings & pickle fries! Big Bill & Trevor were awesome. Our very-last-minute "Philly Cheesesteak & Eggs" to-go was knee-buckling good & should not be missed! If they'd still been open, I would've walked right back to eat another one of those!

Went on a Saturday during art fest and wasn't super packed thank goodness, we were able to get a booth. Wings and fries were great. The service was wonderful. Will definitely stop by again. 10/10

Great place to go to if you're looking for a bar that's chill with good drinks and food. The food selection is not big but I always go for the wings and the crack fry's. It's seat your own self so keep that in mind if you're looking for someone to seat you. At night you do have to show ID to get in. Con is parking but that's like anywhere in deep ellum, I normally park at the parking lot right near good latimer and main and just walk. Parking was around $5

Our group visited Will Call and had an absolutely incredible experience! The music, vibe, FOOD and drinks were all top notch!! Definitely the most upscale bar food I have had in YEARS!!!

The best wings I've had in Dallas I swear! And they cooking till 1am at least! The waitresses were nice and on top of everything and the drinks are cheap and strong!

Such a charming staff overall. The politeness, the efforts.. It's refreshing. Excellent cocktails, especially the Snoop Juice, haha! Good on Dana and Trevor for being really cool people to a couple strangers who hadn't been there before.

Ordered: Pickle Fries Wings (Garlic Buffalo and Lemon Pepper) Mexican Mule Three of us were visiting Dallas for a girl's weekend and we stopped at Will Call for dinner and drinks on a Thursday night. The service, wings, and drinks were really great, but the star of this visit was the extremely unique pickle fries. These fries are served with a berry cherry ketchup, it has to be the weirdest combo I've ever seen but WOW do you have to try it. Oddly tasty and it makes me want to try dipping an actual pickle into some fruit jelly.

They serve the best Philly cheese streak I've ever had! Hands down! We ordered it several times! Lol!

We were the ONLY people in there on a Saturday night and we got kicked out bc I threw ice over my own shoulder. Not at the Dj at all, we were talking to him all night and all the sudden he didn't like the music we requested and kicked us out. It was absurd. It was empty in there for a reason, do not recommend. Terrible service from everyone there.

We decided to venture over to Will Call Bar for lunch. A very eclectic restaurant with black wallpaper on the ceilings and a really cool drum set as a light fixture. We ordered the Buffalo Ranch Fries to share which were pretty tasty. And for our lunch entrée the The Philly which comes with shrooms and bell peppers. The cheesesteak was pretty good...over all we had a good experience. Parking is $10 for 2 hours, you put your cell phone number in and the machine will text you 15 min. before it expires.

Spending a couple of days in Dallas and have been walking around Deep Ellum for the past two days. Came here twice during nfl postseason. Good energy, good prices, and good music. Staff attentive.

All the staff is amazing as are the drinks, food & atmosphere. Scratch kitchen, all the food is made in house and you can definitely taste it! Voted best wings in Dallas, the recycle rub is my personal favorite since it's a flavor totally unique to them that you can't get anywhere else. But don't forget to try the sandwiches too. Fun flavorful twists on cheesesteaks that are to die for & the best Cuban I've ever had. I've tried the whole menu and haven't had anything I don't love.

A few friends were in town so we wanted to check our DE. The lines were long for the more popular places so we tried this place. We ordered food and waited for an hour! The food never came out. The server never returned. A manager came over but he was just the bouncer at the door. He went by the name of Arthur. Arthur wasn't accommodating or helpful. Since we were already charged for everything he claimed to void the fee but he didn't. The music is so loud that it's hard to communicate to anyone. I now see why there wasn't a wait to get in. Enter at your own risk.

My friend was visiting Dallas, and I wanted to show him around Deep Ellum. We were planning on going to a rooftop bar, but there was a HUGE line, so we just went to Will Call instead. It's got good vibes and good music, but after about 10 minutes, they turned up the volume WAYYYY too high, and we could barely hear each other. I had to basically yell at my friend across a small table, as we were trying to catch up. I got their house cabernet, and we split the egg roll appetizer. Our waitress had recommended the egg rolls, but they were not very satisfying - very greasy and not worth the price. I likely won't be back to this bar, unfortunately.

Great Atmosphere. We stumbled on this joint our last night in town. They had live music provided by Colton Blue. He entertained the crowd with a variety of cover and original songs. He throws down on the guitar, and his vocals are on point. If you have not heard of him, search Apple Music. You'll be glad you did. Dayna took care of our orders and provided exceptional customer service. She made sure our glasses were never empty. If ever back in Dallas, I will definitely go back.

EH.. disappointed. They had Will Call on the list for bars participating in the St Pats Bar Crawl. After looking at the pictures my group was excited to stop here. Bouncer was great spirits at the entrance. Walked in and got drinks from the fast bartenders. The place was gorgeous inside with a rustic feel to it. All of our drinks tasted watered down from the first sip. I always said you could never mess up a Jack and Coke.... This place did. I think the atmosphere is good and the lady tending to our table was adorable. If they could improve on their drinks I'll be back for sure with a 5star rating.

This is a great spot to chill with the locals. Jr & the staff keeps the good vibes and beverages flowing. If you're a local and you're not here, you're slipping. Parking: Deep ellum standards..uber/lyft.. street meters and plenty of walking around the neighborhood.

You'll find out for yourself how JR rollz and takes care of people. Whenever I go to Deep Ellum or Dallas for that matter I've gotta go to Will Call! Touring bands this is a must stop! Great atmosphere, delicious drinks, fun music and great vibe. Oh, and the food is AMAZING! I recommend the Texas Cheesesteak, all of the fries are great but their breadsticks I swear were made fresh that day. Soooo good!!! Friendly staff and even on a Saturday night they were attentive. I've been different days of the week and various times, always perfect.

Lone star tall boys. 10,000 points right there. Dang wings: Buffalo lemon pepper. Goddamn symphonic. The Freakin Rican cheese steak is also probably the best cheese steak I've ever had and that's not hyperbole. Get down to the coolest place in Deep Ellum.

Showed up at 1:30 on a Friday to grab one drink and left 9 hours later. Great food and amazing customer service. Highly recommend stopping by and having the wings and tejas sandwich.

This place is pretty cool. Our server was was awesome and gave good food recommendations. I had the Big Mac Philly. It kinda tasted like a Big Mac. I didn't think it would be good but I was wrong. I'd get it again. Need to come back to try the wings.

Love love this bar. The staff is beyond exceptional... Especially the owner. The Drinks are priced right, the music is the best. Don't forget to get those wings !!! The fries are like nothing I've tasted before. My favorite place in Deep Ellum. Maybe all of Dallas. Genuine Hospitality "which doesn't go unnoticed ".

Such a fun little bar. And the staff are so cool and down to earth. After downloading the jukebox app and turning into the official DJ one random night lol, I fell in love with the staff and people even more. Definitely a cool hangout spot.

Spent a year in Dallas, and Will Call, was by far my favorite bar. Amazing staff, food and drinks. Always a great vibe no matter what time of day. Definitely check this place out

Great food, and amazing staff. Dayna made our night......bartender, waitress and a great entertainer. She sang All Night Long by Lionel Ritchie word for word. And she makes the best Mexican Candy shots we've ever had. Travis and Junior have the best bar in Deep Ellum

Just had the Reuben. I love the cheeses Steaks but they're not available at the moment. I rarely eat my entire meal. But I ate the entire Rueben! Highly recommended
