This place was absolutely delicious. Everything we had tasted so good. The service was really good, our food came out really fast. We tried the meatballs, eggplant parmesan, pizzas and fettuccine Alfredo, tiramisu and coffee ice cream. Everything was so tasty. You should really try them out. I'm glad we found this place and stopped in. Their pizza sauce was amazing, so light, and the cheese was delicious. Try them out!

Google
Great neighborhood spot near old town, authentic Italian pizza and pasta! Sitting on the patio in the fall with any one of the pasta specials is such a treat after a long walk on the canal.

Google
Absolutely amazing , customer oriented high quality restaurant! Courteous service, adjustments made to the menu according to the customer preferences! And the Food, the Food was very Good! Experience genuine, heartfelt service for yourself!

Google
Hands down the best calzone I’ve ever had in my life. I love a spot with a drive up window that’s just as good to go as it is in house, and the in house is unbelievable! Forno has put itself into the very top echelon of pizza in the entire Phoenix metro area. Can’t say enough good stuff about this place!

Google
Nice family owned local business. The pizza is solid, the pasta was competent(?). I would encourage folks to try the takeout pizza option. The also have a drive through ! We ate in once. The facility is pleasant and has an outdoor bar and seating

Google
Excellent pizza! Excellent pastas. My favorite pasta was probably the spinach and ricotta. The pizzas have an amazing Neapolitan crust. The staff is so friendly. They have a drive thru! Overall great Italian spot in Scottsdale.

Google
Delicious food and great service. We had the meatballs and Forno 301 pizza. Both perfectly cooked.

Google
Forno 301 is the most authentic Italian pizza joint in AZ. My wife and I love Forno and the calzone and the diavola 🙏 We highly recommend Forno and always look forward to the opportunity to go here and enjoy the authentic style of Italy!🇮🇹 They also have a drive through! 🛻

Yelp
So good. Vegitariana pizza was fantastic. Gnocchi always good. Lemon cello not homemade but great. Service was solid. Nice inside could use more lights in some areas though. Highly highly recommend!

Yelp
We discovered this spot shortly after moving back to Arizona, and it quickly became one of our go-to places. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome with their friendly and attentive service. It's the kind of place where you can tell they genuinely care about their guests. As for the food, wow. Everything we've tried has been incredible, but the ravioli with butter and sage stands out as a favorite. It's rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. Another dish we can't get enough of is the Diavola pizza, perfectly crisp crust, the right amount of heat, and so satisfying. We're so glad we found it and will definitely be coming back often.

Yelp
Came here on a date with boyfriend and it was an interesting experience. At first I thought this was the Phoenix location, but I realized shortly after that the Phoenix location doesn't do reservations which was fine. I ended up coming here with boyfriend not expecting a drive through I was horrified because this was our second date and I didn't expect it to have a drive through. We went into the restaurant and the servers were super nice and the food was actually amazing, but we both thought it was funny that this seems like a fancy restaurant but has a drive through haha! Loved the food though and would come back!

Yelp
We had a plentiful, delicious meal here. The homemade pasta and gnocchi were cooked to perfection and nicely sauced. My glass of wine was a lovely pour and my darlings beef served with a chilled glass. Service was prompt and professional. I do have two little quibbles; with such lovely sauces, bread to sop them up would be nice. As well, we ordered the caprese salad to share but it was served with lots of prosciutto (when mentioned on the menu I assumed it was a sprinkle) and very few hard, greenish red tomatoes and not much basil. Maybe remove it from the menu when it can't be properly served?

Yelp
I've eaten out twice at Forno 301. The food there is excellent. But really impressed me is the consistency from one visit to the next. The food tasted great each time. The wait staff was friendly and the restaurant itself is well decorated and comfortable.

Yelp
I know I have written a review for Forno 301 now before but every time I go there it amazes me how delicious everything is. It never disappoints. The food is always consistently excellent as is the service. I can't say enough about this neighborhood restaurant. Pizzas, fresh homemade pasta, salads and sandwiches are all amazing. You will never be disappointed at this restaurant

Yelp
Pizza is spot-on! Pasta dishes are delicious! Seriously, authentic Italian with fair prices. Love the daily specials! 11/10!

Yelp
My wife and I had a great experience at Forno 301 Phoenix, so we decided to stop by their Scottsdale Location when we were at this side of town. We had a reservation at 7 PM on a Saturday peak time, but we came early and they let us sit at table sooner. Service is good and their front of house people were rockstars. My wife wanted a mocktail and they served up a delicious tropical drink that she enjoyed. Despite them getting slammed by customers all coming in at once, they handled everything with speed and efficiency. Wfe had Ravioli which is stuffed with Spinach and cheese. She loved it. I had their Pizza of the day which had Sausage, Mushroom, cherry tomato and eggplant. A weird combo, but I wanted to see if it could work. It didn't. The cherry tomatoes don't fit and the pizza was very very soggy. I don't know if the moisture of the tomatoes caused the pizza crust to be soggy. It just didn't work at all. horrid pizza, 2 out of 5. The environment of the restaurant is kinda weird, they have a drive-thru and all their staff have headsets on to take drive thru orders. The inside is split between a bar area with a seating as well as a dining room with a TV showing video of a lit fireplace. I'd come here again, just not my first choice in fancy pizza places.

Yelp
Food, service and Ambiance were all very good. Food came out in a timely manner. Good sized portions are always a great thing in my opinion.

Yelp
Service and food were great! Music was also chill :) the cavatelli was sooo yummy. The zucchini was diced really well into cute tiny cubes and the dish tasted amazing! The pasta was delicious and cooked well. The dish had just enough flavor with no overbearing taste of ingredients.

Yelp
I pass by this place frequently and have been meaning to try it and finally did last night. It was good, but not as good as some of our other favorite local pizza places. The first issue was parking: we came around 6pm on a Saturday night. The parking lot was full and we couldn't get a spot. We had to park in the lot for the Taco Bell next door. Not ideal. The restaurant is small (and noisy since it was completely full). There was a singer there when we went, who was very good, but the microphone was loud enough that it was nearly impossible to have a conversation without shouting. We ordered the vegetarian caprece and an eggplant parmigiana, both of which were very good. I ordered the vegetariana pizza and my husband ordered the cavatelli. The pizza was very good, but I would have liked it to have been a bit crispier. My husband said the pasta was underseasoned and needed more meat in the sauce. Service: there were only maybe 3 people working in the restaurant and they were clearly very busy. It took a while to flag someone down to ask for an extra set of cutlery. The servers were great otherwise.
google avatar

Vincent T.

Yelp
Service was great but the food is far from the quality you would receive in their phx location. Our pasta was overcooked, the sauce felt more greasy and americanized than the Italian approach of the phx location.
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
This place is really good. If I lived anywhere near this restaurant I would be there for pizza. Hubby had a few bites of the fettuccine and said "it wasn't great" The pizza was really good and everyone who had one really enjoyed it. The calzones are HUGE! Friend said it was really tasty. Their Cabernet was good as well. People at our table bought some bottles
google avatar

Alexandria V.

Yelp
Honestly not impressed. The pizza toppings weren't even cooked onto the pizza they were just sliding off. Kind of weird they weren't baked with it. And now I don't even feel that great after eating it. Thank you, but no thank you.
google avatar

Laleh V.

Yelp
Service 5 stars, food 5 stars, vibes 5 stars! I have been to Italy and any time I'm missing Italian pizza... I GO HERE! Get the testosterone pizza, trust me! Or the amici pizza! And definitely get the pesto gnocchi! TIP: ask for a side of burrata and add it to the top of the gnocchi!
google avatar

Yelp
Super good! I was looking for a good Italian place close to us and stumbled on this place. I loved the decor of the place and we sat at the bar that had an open area to the outside. It had a really nice and cozy vibe. All the staff was super nice and the bartender was also serving us. The food was super fresh and I loved the texture of the fresh noodles. I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant and will be back!

Yelp
Great neighborhood place either bar, patio, and large dining areas depending on preference. The Tomato Cucumber salad with champagne dressing is delicious and the perfect size for 2. The Sage Butter Ravioli and Margherita pizza with the homemade chili oil are also great. Recommended!

Andy M.

Yelp
Forno 301 is a hidden gem! Delicious pizza, friendly servers, and very reasonable prices. Give it a try, you will be glad you did.

Yelp
Came here for a birthday dinner and loved it. Feels like an authentic experience. Pizza is thin and crispy and salad is really light and pairs perfectly with it! Had the caprese appetizer and loved it. It's the perfect starter to a great meal!
google avatar

Eric T.

Yelp
We started with the wood-fired eggplant parmigiana, which was rich and tasty, paired nicely with the crustinis. Shared the ravioli with butter and sage and the pizza bianco with sausage and mushrooms. Everything was solid, but the ravioli stole the show--perfectly cooked, buttery, and full of flavor. Easily the highlight of the meal.

Christy R.

Yelp
Had a delicious dinner here tonight with my Mom - we split a Quattro Formaggi pizza with a Misto salad to start. The salad was delicious - the champagne dressing was a treat. Pizza was cooked perfectly and so good! Our waiter was super friendly, but also gave us space to enjoy our dinner without a lot of interruptions. Definitely a great place for pizza!
google avatar

Alisha O.

Yelp
I was happy to see they kept the drive through from the previous place and the reviews looked great! But I didn't find it to be anything special. The Margherita pizza was fine. Nothing to rave about but not terrible either. The sausage and mushroom pizza was dry and plain. Very disappointing. I'll try other items on the menu eventually but in no rush to return.

Yelp
I cam here on a Saturday night after going to the botanical garden. I found it on yelp and it never disappoints. I have to admit I wasn't feeling my best and I knew that I needed to get some food in me. When I walked in I was greeted by the hostess, who kindly got me a table even though I didn't have a reservation. The place was packed and it smelled so good. I opted for two appetizers and a beer instead of a meal. I got the meatballs and the bruschetta with burrata cheese and a blue moon. The food came out all at the same time which was great. I loved topping the bruschetta with the meat balls. I loved the portions as well I was stuffed after the two apps. The meatballs were the start of the show for me. I loved the spice and the sauce and I really loved it mixed with the burrata cheese from the bruschetta. I was exhausted from the day so I was in and out but if I am ever in the area I will be back to try the pizza!

Yelp
Solid wood fire pizza for its price. The spot is no frills, but still nice inside. Good weeknight spot to get some dinner.

Yelp
Excellent pizza! Excellent pastas. My favorite pasta was probably the spinach and ricotta. The pizzas have an amazing Neapolitan crust. The staff is so friendly. They have a drive thru! Overall great Italian spot in Scottsdale.

Yelp
Speechless.... It was ALL so good!! The food was stunning.... I had the Cavatelli.. divine... husband had the Fettuccine... he loved it.. the place was pretty mellow when we came.. so we really got to enjoy and take time... service on point... had good conversation with our server/host.. had the Tiramisu was perfection..the place is nice .. not foo foo.. on smaller side... I can see them getting very busy quickly .. so consider reservations.. and the crowning jewel in my review.. the bathroom was clean!!! Don't sleep on this place people!!

Yelp
Stopped in recently, had been wanting to go here for awhile but kept missing the chance to go. Very nice host you walk in, was sat down quickly and provided a menu and all our questions answered. Food was delicious and the spacing was perfect, will be back.

Yelp
The service is outstanding and you can tell they really love their customers. Our waiter was from Italy and has worked at both locations for quite some time. He was so sweet and wasn't shy when pouring the wine. The pasta itself is homemade and an amazing texture but the meat sauce lacked a bit of flavor and depth. The arugula salad could've used a bit more dressing but still nice and fresh. Similiarly to the meat sauce, meatballs were okay, I think they were a bit dry and lacking flavor as well. Nontheless it did not hinder my experience at all as the patio was nice and cool and food was quick. Besides what's pictured, I also tried my friend's ravioli in a butter sage sauce and it was absolutely amazing. 10/10. My boyfriends sausage and pepper panini was a bit dry and lacked a sauce. The tiramisu was nice but heavy on the espresso. I will be returning to try a pizza because that is their specialty. I am sure it is incredible. Overall a great local spot with fantastic service and fair pricing!
google avatar

Jac B.

Yelp
Nothing incredible but I was really pleasantly surprised. The arugula salad had great flavor and the grilled chicken was moist. The tiramisu was quite good. They have a beautiful indoor-outdoor bar. The staff was lovely. Great place to eat when you're going to the theater or museum.
google avatar

Lauren T.

Yelp
Another 5 star experience at forno! Everything I try at this place is amazing. It was a Saturday night and the service was still awesome! We tried the pasta of the day - it was basically the 301 pizza in a pasta. It was so flavorful. We also had the calzone and the raviolis - the raviolis were very good and had a butter sage sauce. The 301 pizza still remains to be our favorite item.

Yelp
I love this local authentic Italian restaurant. I stopped by for a late takeout dinner after work one day. I had the daily special, a fresh made italian classic that is not normally served everyday. I have for folly pasta with Bolognese sauce topped with a dollop of ricotta cheese . It was fantastic! The richness and depth of flavor of the sauce combined with the creaminess of the ricotta cheese served over the freshly made fa pasta was the perfect combination. If you love, Italian food, authentic, Italian food, you really need to try this place.
google avatar

Heather G.

Yelp
Amazing food! We've tried everything and never disappointed. Nice indoor ambiance and quick drive thru service
google avatar

Maggie R.

Yelp
Service was amazing! We were surprised it was not busy on a Sunday afternoon. Pizza was delicious. Hubby got a calzone which was really good also. Definitely will be returning.
google avatar

Manny R.

Yelp
Maybe it's me but I was under the assumption that a calzone was supposed to have melted cheese inside of it? The cheese was not melted and cold..? Not sure if that's normal either way ruined my meal..
google avatar

Megan E.

Yelp
This our go-to Friday night drive through meal. Always try the special! It's simple but easy.
google avatar

Daniel K.

Yelp
Interesting concept but it was decidedly average. It really reminded me of the middle-of-the-road Italian restaurants that a theme park has with Sysco ingredients and large portions. Everything looked pretty good but the flavors from the watery tomato sauce on the pizza to the baked spaghetti lasagna were missing that special something Italian food has. It really pales compared to Pomo or Fratelli la Bufala. (Also agree with Stacy S. on the pizza as my toppings just slid straight off my pie as it was undercooked) Service was great and quick though! Staff all had earpieces so I think they are more focused on the drive-through side of the business with to-go meals.
google avatar

Brandon L.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the pasta and quality of the pizza and ingredients here. The tomato sauce had a lot of depth and the sausage was spiced well. The dough was cooked well and I have no complaints. The pasta was a little underseasoned, but nothing a little sprinkled of salt couldn't fix. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the flavors were balanced. I'd come back!
google avatar

Maria K.

Yelp
Loved the vibe, especially the classic Italian music playing. Great selection of wine and cocktails. We shared the pizza of the day which was a white pizza with sausage, eggplant and mushrooms. It was a good, solid pizza. We also had the spinach ravioli with sage and brown butter sauce. Delicious! The ravioli was perfectly cooked and the sauce well balanced. For dessert, the tiramisu was delicious. We really enjoyed the meal. The service was below average. The waiter took a very long time to come and it was not busy. He was not attentive either. Despite that, we would go back. The place was also freezing and people had on jackets. The bar area is open to the outside and it was a chilly evening. So, we will bring jackets if we go in the winter.

Yelp
It's been awhile since I've been this. excited to write a review on Yelp. My wife and I had business in visiting Scottsdale & looking for a place for lunch and found this location on Yelp. What a pleasant surprise! Really cool interior. There's outdoor seating with misters and you can sit at a bar and order through a pass-through opening. We decided to stay inside. Our server, Gina, was a delight. Very friendly with a great smile. My wife ordered a Panino Prosciutto sandwich and I ordered the salami calzone. Both were HUGE! The largest calzone I have ever eaten. And it was not all air but filled with goodies. Great food and great serve. What more can you ask for?

Cristian G.

Yelp
Forno 301 is the real deal! The pasta tastes homemade, and the vibe is super chill and welcoming. Great service. Definitely coming back. My new spot for Italian in Scottsdale!
google avatar

Emily K.

Yelp
great local scottsdale spot right off of Thomas road. They have a drive through as well! We sat outside and ordered the sporcacciona with sausage ham and spicy salami. also got the Prosciutto Crudo which was my personal favorite! prosciutto was SO perfect and paired well with the montepulciano and sangiovese which was fabulous!! service was very quick and the food came out in like 5 minutes!! very cute little spot, definitely want to try some of their appetizers next time!!

Juliana H.

Yelp
Food was delicious got the wood fired pizza! Service was quick and efficient. Nice spot for a weeknight dinner
google avatar

Maddy L.

Yelp
This restaurant is very good! Half drive thru half sit down for service! It's authentic and the dishes are freshly made and good! The indoors is casual feel
google avatar

ThucDan H.

Yelp
The servers here were amazing, helpful with the menu and even gave us a free side of bread. The low lighting made it a perfect date spot, or just for drinks with friends. We got the fettuccine carbonara (delish) and the pepperoni pizza, both of which were amazing and tasted so fresh. The creme brûlée for dessert is a must. Our total came to around 45 dollars, in my opinion, amazing prices considering everything else around would be well over that for the same amount of food. This place even has a drive thru if you'd like takeout instead. Totally recommend if you're nearby.

Yelp
I'm back again. There was a bit of confusion, I do believe it was due to a terrible phone connection. I ordered the Quattro Stagioni (?) well done and gave them the 10-15 minutes came through the drive through (though the box has been removed since my last visit) was handed a pizza and realized it was not the one I asked for. Again, poor phone connection is likely the culprit here. It was cutting in and out and I should have repeated myself. Anyway, I called and let them know and they were more than willing to make the correction. Granted, now I'm waiting (patiently) for my well done pizza but I'm not upset because they made the correction. Maybe next time I'll just dine in. I just haven't worked myself up to an in house visit yet. Though I imagine the dining experience will satisfy areas I just won't get with drive through. Oh man, I just tasted my Quattro Stagioni and it is magnificent! The crust is light and airy, the topping ratio is spectacular as far as I'm concerned. Well worth the wait and I am so glad I called to correct the order. Awesome I will most certainly be back (to dine in next time).

Yelp
I was excited to try this place. It's in an area with a lot of fast food options around, so had some allure. They have very limited gluten-free options. No GF pizza or pasta. My husband said the pizza was OK, but other woodfired pizza in the area is definitely better. I got the Wood-fired Cauliflower, which was an entree sized portion but lacked flavor. Ambiance was ok, nothing special. They have a basic patio and bar, but it's right on Thomas so very noisy. Service was below average, especially for being super slow when we were in. I agree with a previous reviewer who said it feels like fast food Italian. I am not sure how this place has received such good reviews. I will not be back.
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
Decent place with fair service. Nothing surprisingly good about the food but nothing entirely bad. The app we got with prosciutto, fig jam, and cheese wasn't impressive by any stretch of the imagination but relatively tasty. Pizza was a bit wet.. not egregious but definitely noticeable. Pasta was a bit too salty. Overall, probably wouldn't come again unless I was looking for something very average.

Alessandra T.

Yelp
We love the Pizza and food at Forno 301 in Scottsdale! Best pizza in the area. Wonderful service, clean and a nice atmosphere! We go there have our pizza weekly, so good! Thank you Forno 301! I would recommend this pizzeria/restaurant to family and friends! Love it.

Yelp
Thought this used to be a different place, but rolled up and nobody was at the drive thru, so they got fancy food for a quick stop. The turkey panini was really good as it used quality meat, spring mix and avocado. The sandwich was huge, but still needed a small side of something. Probably try the Italian food next time, but this was a nice healthy lunch on great bread.
