Getting a reservation at Dandelion opening week was tough, but we managed, and it was 100 percent worth it. From the moment we walked in, my friends and I were impressed. It felt special right away. The space is beautiful. Upscale, elegant, a little swanky, but still warm and inviting. Not stiff. Not try-hard. Just really well done. One thing that stood out immediately was the music and acoustics. The room was lively and energetic, but somehow we could hear each other perfectly without yelling. The music was loud enough to block out other conversations, yet our table still felt intimate. It was honestly wild. I have no idea how they pulled that off, but it made the experience so much better. The cocktails were excellent across the board. Every drink we had was great, and the Vesper was especially memorable. One of those drinks you keep thinking about after you leave and already want another. The bar program here is clearly taken seriously, and it shows. The food is more snack-style, meant to be enjoyed casually with drinks, not giant entrées. Everything we tried was really good (we literally ordered everything on the menu), but the steak sandwich is a must. You have to order it. It is hard to explain, but once you try it, you get it. I would absolutely go back just for that sandwich alone. I saw some reviews mentioning portion sizes or expectations around a full dinner, but that feels like missing the point. This place is about the experience, the drinks, the atmosphere, and sharing bites at your own pace. Dandelion is definitely going into my regular rotation. Great drinks, great food, great vibe. Can’t wait to go back.

This is truly the cutest cocktail bar I’ve been to! The ambiance, interior design, great service and the drink selection are all top tier. I enjoyed my experience from beginning to end thanks to Deeandra and Rachel! I will be back again and again :)

Dandelion is an amazing cocktail bar with delicious food! It’s so chic, it’s perfect for a date, girls’ night out, or a birthday celebration. The staff is super friendly, making it a great place to have drinks and enjoy! The vibes are immaculate!

I now understand why previous reviews mentioned issues with the host staff. During my visit, I witnessed significant disorganization. My partner and I arrived promptly for our 10:30 PM reservation, but we waited 20 minutes to be seated. While I understand it was a busy night, we were given little information beyond being asked to stand aside. Eventually, we were seated at the bar, despite our reservation being for the lounge area. This suggests that the staff may not effectively communicate when guests have overstayed their reservation, which, while understandable for a new establishment trying to keep customers happy, ultimately affects others looking to be seated. After this, I requested to move to the lounge, and it took an additional 20 minutes for us to be transferred. On a positive note, both the bartender and waiter were excellent and very attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed the caviar service, and the steak sandwich was outstanding. The drinks were also impressive. However, the initial experience with the host staff almost made us leave, and that area clearly needs improvement.

Amazing drinks and food!!! New go to spot for a cocktail. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, thank you so much! The prime rib sandwich is insane and a must order. I also love the ambience. It is the perfect mix of cozy and lively. Highly recommend!

This experience was very disappointing. We arrived for our dinner reservation five minutes before the 7:30 scheduled time and were asked to wait by the bar—totally fine. However, we waited until 8:00 and finally asked for an estimate of when a table would be ready. The hostess said 5-10 minutes and we did not get a text until 8:18 (50 minutes past reservation time). Overall, the vibe was chaotic and disorganized and it seemed like they scheduled too many reservations or had too many walk ins. We witnessed multiple people experience the same and walk out before they even got a text. Such a bummer because the bar is beautiful space, just be warned they do not post the price of the cocktails on the menu.

This place is magical!!!! I went with a group of 5 girlfriends, the ambience, the staff, the food, the DRINKS!!! All incredible. I went with a friend who didn’t drink and instead the bartender made a mocktail that was out of this world delicious. They are extremely accommodating and I will be going back. Also we met a wonderful lady named Devon who works there, she essentially runs the show. She made our experience delightful and we absolutely will be going back. Thank you Dandelion for the best experience—especially being a new restaurant. We will be back !

Such a great vibe — the aesthetic is on point and feels like the perfect lounge to hang out and unwind. The drinks are super unique and seriously delicious, and the steak sandwich is a must. One of those places you instantly want to come back to.

Dandelion is a new cocktail bar in the West Village with a classy, intimate ambiance and rich dark green tones. The vibes are A+. We ordered dirty martinis served ice cold with a sidecar. Absolute perfection. The service was excellent and the atmosphere delivers vibes for days. We reserved a cocktail table, but walk-ins can easily grab a seat at the bar. Perfect place for a drink with friends or a date. Definitely check out this new spot.
