BEST pizza I have ever had and that’s saying something! Delicious, perfectly cooked pizza with an amazing crust. The service was stellar and the host was extremely personable. Overall 10/10. Fabulous combo deal too!

Best pizza we've had in years. The food was very fresh, the service was friendly and sweet, and it was a nice clean fun place to eat.

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH! Me and my partner have been coming here for about two years now and we get dinner at least once every two weeks (the staff probably know us by now lol). The food is ALWAYS so hot and fresh its amazing. We always order the large pizza and garlic knots for like $25. The staff is always so friendly and the environment is amazing. I definitely recommend this place for families, date nights, friend hangouts, etc.

This is my third time being here, and it will be one of my new go to places!! So far I had the Stromboli, spaghetti, and I just tried their pizza and I’m in LOVE!!!!!! You get what you pay for 100%. The food here is exquisite and it’s to die for. The service here is amazing as well, they have very friendly staff and a great cook! You can’t go wrong eating here and you won’t be disappointed. The inside is beautiful as well I love how they pull of the black and white look. This place is a hidden gem.

I got the white pizza and the garlic bread with cheese. Both were absolutely delicious! The pizza was crispy and had lots of flavor. I was pleasantly surprised with the cheesy garlic bread too, you never get that much cheese on garlic bread anywhere! The interior was super clean and I loved the vibe.

This was my second time ordering a pie to go. First thing I noticed was the consistency from last nights pie to the previous one. Great crust, with the perfect amount of chew (Gluten). The sauce is not acidic and there is a nice balance of sauce and cheese. So many other places, I have to tell them exactly how I want mine made, because there’s never enough sauce imo. This place, I don’t say anything and it is just incredible. If you are looking for Neighborhood pizza, like the old Neighborhood, this is the place! Take it from me, born in New York City and raised in Brooklyn. I know a thing or two about pizza. Give Rigo’s a try and you won’t regret it.

- goodfella’s pizza: 6.5/10 kinda bland. it said there was honey but it tastes like they only put a few drops of honey on the entire pizza. the honey definitely was a good contrast from the oily pepperoni, acidic tomato sauce, and the creamy ricotta cheese. basil flavor was a great addition. crust was a bit over-baked though, kind of too hard to bite into. all in all, a solid pizza BUT it was most definitely NOT WORTH the $29 it cost. pesto pizza: 6/10 cheese pizza: 7/10

Hands down, the best pizza joint we've tried in the Triangle area. We usually order the $27 Large Chicken Tikka Pizza and my whole family loves it. The flavorful fusion of Masala sauce, cilantro, red onions, and chicken is something you won't find in other pizza joints in the Triangle. Reasonably priced for the size as it's loaded with quality and fresh ingredients. No complaints about customer service. Service is fast and friendly, and it's easy to order on their website. Ate dine-in once and our male server was accommodating. When we ordered take out, they were generous when I asked for parmesan cheese and red pepper (Unlike Domino's which now charges extra for those). Ambiance is not the most spacious but place looks clean and welcoming. It's also in a nice location, at the center of Cary. We also tried their Mediterranean pizza with the gyro before - which is unique, good but not as good as the Chicken Tikka pizza. It came with Tatziki sauce which doesn't taste like Tatziki sauce. Highly-recommend Rigo's Pizza for their Chicken Tikka pizza. Will definitely return again but we might try their other flavors.

Pizzeria Veritas was my favorite pizza place so this was my first time trying after the name change and it did not disappoint. I love the added connivence of online ordering. They were busy but my food was ready when it said it would be and staff was very nice. Highly recommend the penne alla vodka

Arrived late to a rental house in Cary and needed a bunch of food to feed a bunch of people. Rigo's totally came through! It came to us through a delivery app and we ordered a Grandma pie, a large extra-pepperoni pie and two orders of wings, one buffalo, one lemon pepper. All of it was really good. The Grandma pie had a thin but airy and crunchy crust just like it should have, the pepperoni pizza was quality New York style, and the wings were excellent. They were saucy and crispy all at once with very nice flavors. Everyone was happy!

I came here after traveling and got a slice with a salad and drink. As always, great service, super fresh food and clean atmosphere. Still my favorite pizza place!

First time. Got it to go and the pizza was great!! Wonderful sauce and cheese. Definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Pizza was cooked quickly and accurately. We had the meat lovers pizza (large) and a medium margarita (sp?) to serve 6 hungry folks lunch. Everyone thought both were out of this world good!! We will be back!!

Ordered 4 pies today for a family event. Really impressed by the just plain cheese 18" pies and the price!! We will have to check out their other menu items. The godfather caught my eye but I had to stay on task. Anyway, good food and friendly service so I'll be back for more.

Disclaimer: Chicago native here who is a pizza snob! Found this place when seeking some good pizza. It reminds me of the mom and pop Italian places from back home and I do think it's family owned. This is a NY style pizza that is a good combination of what I like and what my husband likes about pizza. NY style pizza isn't my favorite and no I don't like deep dish but I do like a hearty crust. I judge pizza on their crust and their sauce, Rigo's crust isn't too thin and has a nice crunch and their sauce has nice flavor. We typically order a Margherita with pepperoni or Olive and Mushroom. Their calzones are huge and delicious too. Service is always great. This is our go to pizza place if we don't want to drive far.

I have driven past Rigo's Pizzeria, tucked beside Hero's Car Wash in the Northwest Maynard shopping center, I don't know how many times. This time we found it online on Yelp and made sure to stop in. Inside, the team greeted us like old friends. She guided us through the menu and was super warm and helpful. We started with the large Caesar. Crisp romaine, thick dressing, Parmesan. Large enough for two hungry people and still enough to carry home. Then the slices landed arrived. A garden‑bright veggie wedge, plus two Meat Lovers slices. Our side of garlic bread arrived toasted gold, buttered edge to edge. We had a full dinner for under 40 bucks and had plenty to take back home. Courteous, friendly, and patient with first‑timers, everyone at Rigo's made sure our first visit won't be the last.

Not Ny style pizza! Very bland with hardly any flavor. Still da tasted watered down. Salad was ok! Service was good! Didn't like that we had to clean off table and cheap napkins and toilet paper. They need to try harder!

I placed my order online, it was very easy to do! I showed up when they said it would be ready and it was! Headed back to for the real test... started off with some GARLIC knots, very good! Now on to the pizzas! We got crazy here! I'm from just outside of Nashville, soooo we tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Pizza, not sure it if I would like a pizza with pickles on it, but.... It was really good! Then we got the Spicy Honey Pizza, loved this one, had a little heat to it. Then we had the Grandmas Pizza, that was Awesome Good! All had great crust and plenty of flavor! If you live in Cary what are you waiting for? Cheers!

This is a favor of mine for a weekday lunch! I love that you can get unique slices, my favorite pizza is the Nashville chicken pizza. It's so tasty and not to spicy. They also allow you to modify the slices so if you don't want pickles no problem! The slices come with a lot of toppings so if you get the chicken pizza it will be loaded with chicken. You place your order at the counter and then they bring your pizza out to you when they are done cooking it. They are very nice and the service is great. The restaurant decor is simple and just looks like a standard pizza place but there is plenty of space inside. It used to be a different restaurant but I'm so glad they kept some of the same pizza options as before.

Came here last night for pizza with the family. Ordered 2 medium pies and they came out perfect. The undercarriage was superb. No Flop! A great crunchy crust. The cheese on the pizza was also well adhered and did not slip off the pizza when eating. The staff are friendly and helpful. At the end of our meal one of the staff members brought out a delicious Oreo cheesecake for us on the house! What a wonderful gesture. We will definitely be back.

Sorry, I guess I am spoiled since I grew up in Brooklyn, NY, then Long Island, NY...I don't feel it's even necessary to elaborate. All I can say is, it does not compare to NY Pizza.

Amazing service! We ended up changing our order to add wings and the person helping us was able to save us a couple of bucks with his suggestions. Order came out wrong and they corrected their mistake even before food hit our table. Grandmas pizza had a the perfect thickness, crispy crust. Round pie is a typical NY style pizza. Wings were breaded and perfectly crispy (we did ask for it to be extra well). Great buffalo sauce. Would come here again.

First time in since the new owners took over. Immediately looked nicer inside and the food was way better. Definitely our new pizza spot. Have to try some of the our things too. Pasta, subs, etc. But the pizza was awesome

The chicken tikka pizza is officially my very favorite pizza I've ever had. Holy crap!!!! This is so good. Everything we tried was amazing.

First Yelp review ever, for one reason: when I order a calzone with pepperoni, sausage, and jalapeno peppers, I want to taste all three. And I did! The jalapenos were there in full slices and just the right amount. The cheese and meats, and the crisp crust of the calzone shell, rounded things out well. I really can't judge anything bug the calzone, but it was excellent and a good value.

Pizza was pretty good, although I wouldn't give it top marks. I had the supreme which had lots of veggies, ham and Italian sausage. We also had the Sicilian with some marinara sauce on the side. The kids had a cheese pizza with pineapple added. Everyone liked their pizza and the restaurant has nice seating with big and comfortable booths.

Rigo's Pizzeria is my family's go to restaurant for pizza. Tonight, we went out to eat at Rigo's in person. After being welcomed in by polite workers, we ordered at the front, and went to our seats. Food came out quickly, and was delicious. My mother got the Penne la vodka pasta which was exquisite. My father and I shared a pizza which was also great. Updated review Oct/Nov 2023 I have tried the gluten free pizza with the new ownership. I looked at my charge on credit card under $25 with tip. I stop in for a late lunch to order same item again to go. The two workers who normally take my order were not there. For same gluten free pizza the guy tells me price over $30! I asked him to double check, and he said $30.30....I said cancel the order! I miss the previous owner Steve and this place has lost my business...this is not even a cheese pizza and the price increased 1.5. times in a matter of a few weeks. Besides, the recipes are different now the meatballs are not 100% beef, now pork is added not sure if made in-house as previous owner or frozen. Sad and ridiculous as prices on website do not even coincide. Instead of spending $30 for a smaller size being gluten free...I will drive 2 miles up the road for a meal with leftovers ordering Chicken Tikka with a few other items to enjoy! Good luck

Nice upscale pizzeria. The places clean, and well kept. Many menu options. Prices are pretty good for Raleigh, and ordering is easy and flexible. Got the 18 inch New York style half mushroom half sausage. As a New Yorker I have to say this is pretty good pizza. Crust is nice and thin but chewy, sauce is fresh and many homemade touches, and it was well cooked. At $18 for an 18 inch pie, this place is a bargain. Staff was helpful and attentive, and we also had the garlic knots, which are very very good with dipping sauce. Recommended.

Delicious! We have had Rigos twice now and there pizza is wonderful. Well seasoned and they don't skimp on the toppings. The sauce is awesome!

They have one of the best pizza in the area. Pasta is also delicious! Highly recommend!!

Best pizza! Had a personalized pizza with meatballs, cup pepperoni, and jalepeneos. I could eat the whole thing it's so delish. If you are ever in Cary and are craving pizza, you are doing yourself a favor by going here.

A hidden gem! Today was my first time visiting Pizzeria Veritas in Cary, NC and I was very pleased. First off, the atmosphere was very chill and the energy was very welcoming. The person who helped us was super helpful and cool which was very appreciated since this was our first time! They have very good prices and they had some good deals. We got the #3 deal which was an 18" cheese pizza, 6 garlic knots, and a 2 liter drink for $22.99 (we dined in so instead of the 2 liter drink, we got two refillable fountain drinks). This was more than enough for the two of us and it was delicious. The employee was very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed as well. As for the food, the garlic knots were done quickly and they were very tasty. The sauce for them was a bit thick and chunky and I usually prefer lighter, thinner sauces, but my boyfriend really likes thicker sauces and he loved this one. The pizza was very delicious! We settled on a classic cheese pizza since it was National Pizza day and didn't opt for added toppings. The pizza sauce was very thin and light which was a nice surprise for me. The crust was also perfectly baked and a little bit crunchy which is how I like it. The proportions of cheese to sauce to crust was perfect and I really liked the thinness of the pizza. Overall 10/10 food and even better service. Will be coming back to try more soon!

Beware of delivery. They treat the pizza like a basketball. Owner blamed Slice. Slice blamed the owner. They make a good pie but they should go back to in store only. Delivery means you'll have a 50/50 shot of eating.

Got the Chicken Tikka pizza, tasty and fresh. I loved the dough. It's nice to have a healthy homemade pizza that doesn't make you feel guilty for eating it.

Had a late lunch with the hubby on a Sunday afternoon we were the only folks in the place. The restaurant is clean/cozy, service was good and food was good - we ordered an antipasto salad (HUGE and fresh) and a combo pizza. The pizza was good, crust was good - not cracker thin and not thick. They sell by the slice and also have pasta and salad options and looks like they are kid friendly. Try it out if you are in the area!

We came here based on a friend's recommendation when visiting the Triangle area. Covid-19: you can order over the phone. You have to go inside to pay when you get there. Employees take off masks while on the phone right by customers. We got 2 14" pizzas which was way too much for 2 people. We wanted to try 4 different pizzas, but we couldn't do half and half for the ones we wanted to try since the sauces were different. We narrowed it down and got the Spicy Honey and the Nashville Hot Chicken pizzas. Both were fantastic. The Spicy Honey was my favorite. I would actually get it without jalepeños though because I thought their spice actually took away from the flavor of the pizza. The crust was delicious. The cheese and toppings were great combinations. This is the best pizza I've had in a long time. I'd definitely recommend checking it out!

We were in town for the holidays and were looking for a laid back place w pizza/pasta. We were so thankful we stumbled upon this gem. Walked in with a party of 8 (including two small kids). One other big family happily eating. They were quick to arrange a table to fit us all. We ordered a few salads, two of the largest size pizzas-- one Supreme and one Margherita---and some noodles for the kids. They were super gracious and brought out some garlic knots, which were nice and warm and just what we needed to tide us over until our order arrived. They were obviously homemade Order came / Everything was great. In particular, the pizzas were so good. I say this having tried pizza everywhere. Hearty toppings, excellent red sauce and an amazing crust. Crunchy but still with some flop. Before wrapping up, they brought out some peppermint cheesecake and zeppolis-- on the house. Once again, all obviously homemade with some serious care. I'm not a cheesecake fan but this was light and delicious. I'd never had zeppolis, a fried little fluffy doughballs w sugar, but I could've eaten about 100. I tell you what, we regularly eat at places that talk big game, charge for it, and then leave you underwhelmed and sometimes even feeling bamboozled. So it makes a place like Pizzeria Veritas EVEN BETTER. Unsuspecting, anything but presumptuous, and truly good food. For those local, Pizzeria Veritas recently acquired new ownership. Can't speak for the prior owners but these new ones have a great thing going on!

We tried the Greek Pizza tonight. Lots of toppings for the price. It was just lacking some sort of spice ? I added garlic powder and black pepper . It helped a bit but this pizza could be so much better. It's a convenient pickup on my husbands way home from work. We may try again. Not our number one choice in this area.

I've never had tikka masala pizza before but I'm hooked now!! My son thought the pepperoni pizza was a little too sweet but mine was divine!!

0 stars- It's Friday night. 8:13pm and they close at 9:00. "They are all booked up for the night" and would not take our take out order for 2 pizzas. Poor customer service. Shame. The reviews were good but we will not be giving them a chance.

Sometimes, you just NEED pizza. This craving hit for me last night, and the News & Observer recommended Veritas as their top pick for quarantine pizza, so I placed an order. It seems they only have delivery drivers occasionally, and last night was not one of those times, so I agreed to pick up my order from the store. I wanted some garlic knots, but they were out when I ordered (at around 6:30 pm). Mental note: order earlier! I ended up getting one 14" margherita and a slice of chocolate cake. They said it would be ready at 7:45 (a wait of over an hour) but I wasn't starving, so that was ok. When I went to pick up my order at 7:45, they told me it would be ten minutes more. For those ten minutes, I didn't see a single worker wearing a mask, and there were two parties eating inside the restaurant. The only cleaning process I saw was one worker wiping down the handle of the door when anyone entered or left. Now for the food: the pizza was heavenly. Every flavor was noticeable and it was totally worth the $18 I paid for it. The cake was also good, but a little rich for my taste. I would 100% get pizza from here again, but considering the safety of the people inside, I'll probably stick to ordering when they have delivery drivers.

Great pizza! Huge slices! Brought a group here and the food was brought out quick and tasted great. We all got the two slice combo and these slices were giant! This place was a great place to grab lunch. They have great lunch combo options along with their normal menu. Would recommend.

Absolutely loved this place! The people were friendly, the service great, and food was amazing! The garlic knots were light, fluffy, and super fresh! The best I've ever had! The pizza was delicious! At the end of our meal, they brought us a basket of zeppoli that were airy and delicious! Worth the 2 hour drive!

Truly one of the best pizza places around! The service was amazing and fast, friendly and even had a bookshelf with books to read while waiting for your food. The Nashville Hot Chicken Pizza and the Spicy Honey Pizza are both to die for with a light airy crust and perfect ratio of the toppings! The garlic knots were hot and fresh with a great side marinara sauce that tasted so good! If you haven't been to this place, you are missing out!

If you're not ordering pizza from Pizza Veritas, you're not eating the right pizza. Been in the Raleigh / Cary area for 4 years now and I'm kicking myself it took me this long to try it after numerous people told me how great it was. Lunch specials, daily specials, combos, Stromboli's, garlic knots, cheesesteaks and GREAT pizza. This place has it all and it's all freaking 5 STARS. Best pizza I've had since moving to NC. An absolute must visit in Cary. Officially a weekly regular now.

They use really good cheese- and I hope so much they don't change that. New owners later 2023 so they have stepped up their game. I hope they don't reduce their quality. It could use better dough/water...but it is still really good. I'm from NYC So that's saying a lot. There's about 2 other places in entire triangle that compare to this place after the new owners took it and improved ingredients.

The worst and I do mean the worst.....I placed an order online for a cheese pizza and get there on time. Pizza isn't ready, not the end of the world was told to wait 7 minutes. 30 minutes later still waiting, I asked for a refund and they said they cannot do it, I need to call some customer service number. Bullshit, I know they can refund me the money they just want to hold onto my 20 bucks since they know I am probably not coming back. If they would have refunded me my money I would have not left this review and just called it a bad night and just not gone back but seriously this place is a rip off and you cannot blame a disgruntled employee because it was the manger/owner's daughter no less. I didn't order here often but I guess I should have read a recent review before going there. The other reviews are right, really sad to see a good place go down hill. Cross posting this to yelp because people really should be aware before going.
