Loki Coffee - Salt Lake, Utah

Stopped by while in SLC due to hearing about this coffee shop for awhile. This place has a ton of seating both indoors and outdoors, but today on a late Sunday morning, it was packed!!!! Luckily we found an outdoor spot to sit at. The hazelnut latte is very tasty and the heart art was a perfect touch. My husband enjoyed his drip coffee. The avocado toast was devine!!! It’s my go to so I don’t like being disappointed- and I wasn’t. My husband enjoyed his croissant. Overall a win and we will stop by again.

Cute place to pop by and grab a light breakfast, and good coffee. Their lox is delicious, and served on a multi grain toast. Most times I’ve gone it’s been quite busy, and crowded. I don’t blame the popularity. The atmosphere is welcoming, and there’s plenty of space for whatever your needs or comfort choice may be. Outdoor seating is comfortable , and shaded. For the high volume of this cafe, the staff all worked very well together and the smiles were pouring as good as my cappuccinos were being served! Nice spot to get some digital work done ✅

I love the decor and atmosphere of this place. The wooden features, their own machines with their name brand and the outside patio to sit on. It's very dog friendly. I will say it can get a bit loud inside so it wouldn't be a great place to study, read or do work unless you have headphones or earplugs on. The coffee is also very good too. The latte selection is great and the chai latte is excellent. I had an espresso tonic that also was very good. It was an Asian centric espresso tonic with i believe yuzu or something with an Asian fruit accent. The staff was very nice and very knowledgeable about their food and drinks. I would come back here to try their other items they offer.

These baristas are crushing order after order. Two big lines occurred while I was there and they went through it really quickly. I had a dirty chai, which was alright. Nothing amazing but it was good. What really won me over was the miso brown butter cookie. It was super delicious. Highly recommend

Perfect study spot! I have heard about this place since UAF 2024 but never had a chance to visit the store until May 2025. Ever since, I have been coming here to study, work, connect with people, and chill 2-3 times a week! Their matcha and hojicha are perfect🤌🏻 The owner is so kind and friendly. They care so much about their customers and the community. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Loki is the kinda place that is always full of people, which makes a lot of sense considering the quality of the service and the consistently tasty food/drink options. Biiiig fan for head down work sessions (if you can find a seat!). Also, the fresh flowers and bread are a pleasant bonus.

This is my absolute favorite place for matcha in SLC. They never miss!! Their coffee is delicious + high quality too! I’ve had their housemade syrups - honey cinnamon and hazelnut are my favorites. I recommend the breakfast sliders or one of their pastries - always with unique ingredients like yuzu or miso. Staff is always lovely. I really hope they bring back the black sesame matcha - it was my faaavorite 🙏

It's got that warm, inviting vibe that makes you want to linger--but word's getting out, and it's packed almost every time I visit. Today I ordered the Pumpkin Chai Iced Latte with oatmilk and pumpkin cream, and it was everything I hoped for--tasty, refreshing, and the perfect sip for the autumn season. Their coffee menu is thoughtful and well-crafted, with seasonal flavors that really shine. Seating can be tricky during peak hours, and the Wi-Fi is on the slower side, so it's not ideal for long laptop sessions. But if you're here for the drinks and the ambiance, Loki absolutely delivers. It's a great spot to grab a delicious coffee and soak in the neighborhood charm.

This is hands down the best coffee shop in SLC. From all the drink options, unique pastry case options and sitting indoors and the patio outside. Everyone is so nice and friendly, there is a reason this place is always bustling but it doesn't feel too crowd. Follow on IG so you know what is happening on the regular, every month they post what's going on in the month. They will sponsor fun runs to unique pop ups. Okay now to the food, made to order breakfast options and their fresh pastries are top notch. Their fresh spin on the banana bread and scallion scone, I could eat every day.

When I walked up on a Saturday morning to meet a friend for coffee, I walked into a large group of people gathered for a run. They had upbeat music playing under a tent setup for check in and snacks. This was an organized event-which has nothing to do with Loki except that it was my first impression. It must be a cool place for this many people to gather. My suspicions were confirmed; it was a pretty cool place. The ambience is bright and open with lots of seating both indoors and out on the patio. Parking can be a little tricky, but that's to be expected with anything in this part of town.

The first thing I noticed coming into the cafe was how bright and full of light this cafe was. I ordered a Loki-lo which had an interesting mix of flavors. Somehow it tasted a bit too chocolatey for my preference but still delicious. I was taken aback because of the cashier. I approached friendly and she was friendly but kind of standoffish in her response. It made me not want to ask questions or make conversation. Service was quick even though there was a big line. Parking is located behind the cafe and in front but it's limited. There is also parking down the street which is where I parked.

Loki is such a cute place with lots of hosted events and food trucks! Went to a Minor Figures event with a friend and the Loki-Ko was so good, I had to come back and get it again! The Tomodachi pastries that they have are also amazing -- you'll have to come early or they may sell out! I've tried their Chai with vanilla, Loki-Ko and mini latte and all were great. Only thing is there aren't many places to sit and wood seating is a bit uncomfortable for long periods of time.

I am obsessed with Loki's iced oat milk honey latte! This place is so pretty inside and they know how to make gooood coffee. They also have fresh pastries, bread, and sometimes flowers for sale inside too! The inside has several different seating options and they have an outdoor patio too which is perfect for the summer. The service is quick & always so friendly as well!

Wow! Loki coffee shop is ALIVE. The outdoor seating area is amazing and very spacious a lot of people can fit out there as well as a comfy cozy indoor space with lots of seating. The menu was simple but very delicious, I got a matcha with oat milk and at most coffee shops a milk substitute is pricey here it was very affordable and didn't tank the cost by just adding milk that won't kill my stomach! Friendly staff and delicious choices try it out!

How did I miss this coffee shop every time I'm in Maven District?! This is seriously now one of my fav coffee shops in SLC. You can find parking in the streets. There are ample outdoor and indoor seating. I enjoyed both settings. Clean restroom and place. All of the staffs are always friendly and helpful if you have any questions about their coffee and menu. I loveeeeee that they have the "Iced Baby Latte" on their menu! That's the first I've seen a drink like that at a coffee shop; and it's one of my favs now since I like more expresso/coffee with less milk. What makes this place unique and stand out is they have cool/fun/informative events going on. I attended their coffee tasting event; and it was fun! I look forward to checking out their other events; and seasonal drinks on their menu! Also, I finally found my perfect drink/coffee cup at the store after months of searching for the right one. It was like love at first sight, lol. I ended up buying a few items there; and left super happy.

This place has great seating options, but does get a little crowded (because it's amazing obviously). They sell fresh sourdough to go, have great pastries and sell amazing delicious drinks! Try the hazelnut latte!

It is a vibe to go to Loki, whether you want to meet up with a friend, enjoy a solo date or do some work, this is your place. The people are AMAZING! They love what they do and are always willing to serve. They have a baker in house who makes the pastries, with a set menu but also will make fun desserts for special occasions. Can't wait to go back

Loki Coffee is a gem near downtown Salt Lake City. We stopped by on a weekday morning and it was packed--clearly a popular spot. Luckily, we snagged a table just as another couple was leaving. The place gives off major NYC café energy --lots of foot traffic, a buzz of conversation, and a crowd that skews college-aged. It definitely has a vibe. The food and drinks didn't disappoint. I ordered the salmon lox toast, which came with a nice little side salad--great touch. I also tried one of their seasonal refreshers with a ginger twist, and it was super refreshing and flavorful. Service was friendly and impressively fast given how busy it was. Parking out front is pretty limited, but there's street parking nearby if you don't mind a short walk. If you're into lively spots with great coffee and tasty light bites, Loki Coffee is absolutely worth a visit.

I have been here three times now, always around 10 AM on a Tuesday in the summer. It is always completely slammed! I can only imagine what the weekends are like. This is a fantastic place, but be prepared to compete for a table with mobs of people on laptops or moms with babies (I'm in the latter category lol). The employees are SO nice and friendly. As a non-coffee drinker I don't necessarily always want a chai, and they always give thoughtful recommendations. I highly recommend the hojicha; I didn't think I would like it but took the risk and now I've gotten it a few times. And be sure to get a miso chocolate chip cookie to bring home with you, they are phenomenal.

I am always a sucker for coffee on vacation and my sweetest friend took me to one of her favorite places. It's bright, beautiful, and has a palpable vibe. I tried their summer special Loki-co, which had a rich coffee/mocha flavor, but not overly sweet which I appreciate. Delicious! She did warn me that they were always busy, which was very much true the day we visited, but the coffee still came out quick and we were able to walk around the neighborhood and enjoy.

I went to a Cakes by Edith x Loki Coffee cake decorating class and had the best time!!! This was my first visit to Loki coffee and I am already excited to go back. It is such a beautiful and welcoming space! It's very open but there are still plenty of seats inside and outside on the patio. I loved their drink menu as it had the classic coffee shop "requirements" plus some of their specially curated drinks. They have multiple events a month like coffee tastings, food truck pop ups and launch parties so it is definitely worth checking out. The staff was welcoming and don't make you feel rushed if you can't decide what to order. You should think of them as coffee connoisseurs. They radiate positivity that is infectious.

Average Moca with no real flavor for full price and only a small size. Go somewhere else for better coffee and value.

Oh thank you, Loki! The barista recommended a Hazelnut Latte. Thank you! It is the best flavor. Wow. Loki makes the hazelnut syrup they make it in house, and you get some tiny pieces of hazelnut in the latte. Delicious flavor. The Loki coffee shop is very popular. The seats are mostly all taken. We got a table and sat down for a few minutes while our drinks were made. Another sweet treat is the air conditioning in Loki. It is cold, but just perfect. It is August 2nd and in the 90's, hot. It was so nice to walk into a cool place.

SLC!! We loved visiting Loki coffee, I had heard about them on Instagram while looking up places for our recent trip to Salt Lake! The employees were super friendly and patient as we decided on what we wanted. We ordered two bagels (Asiago & everything) which were the perfect texture and toasted nicely. Both lattes we ordered were also perfect, not overly sweet but still had a great flavor profile! I also ordered a chocolate croissant which is from a third party bakery, it would pretty good but kind of burnt on the bottom. This is a great spot to catch up over coffee or hang out for a bit to get some work done.

I came to Loki Coffee and spend a couple of hours in the sunshiny dining area chatting with my friend. I got a pumpkin cinnamon roll which was delish, and a mocha, which was so good. And we all love some beautiful latte art, right? It was bustling, but the service was friendly and quick. There's plenty of seating which is nice at such a busy place. If I find myself downtown at brunch time I'll definitely visit again.

The space is cute and lively, but the drinks could've been better. I understood the vision for the kafe-mansi (tart/sour taste), but I didn't love the mixture. The iced sea salt peak matcha latte had too much milk, not enough matcha. Also when we asked for recommendations because it was our first time there, we didn't really get any specific answers and the service didn't feel that welcoming. Love that they have merch options though (stickers, tote bags, shirts, etc.)!

Trust the hype--this place is good! The only problem is that there's always a line due to how busy it gets, but I love seeing a local business thrive. I've had probably 3-4 different coffees from here and I've enjoyed them all. Their pastries are delicious, too! I love how cozy it feels there, and all of the employees are super friendly and welcoming. This is in my top 3 coffee shops in the city for sure!

Wowowow. I've been meaning to check out this new coffee shop and I'm so glad I swung by on a Saturday afternoon. From the jump, I was greeted with warmth and smiles, the space is modern yet charming, and there's plenty of seating. I ordered the sea salt iced matcha - it was creamy but I would definitely get it a little sweeter next time. I also had their breakfast sliders with egg and white cheddar and they're seriously my new favorite thing. I'll be dreaming about them until my next visit!

The staff is super friendly and the coffee was really good. Had a slice of pumpkin bread that I made gone immediately. Wish I came in more hungry - the pastries looked amazing.

This a lovely, family owned business with delicious drinks and pastries. They host lots of monthly events and even coordinated a trick or treat event with other businesses in their area this past year. I'm glad they added outdoor seating as this place gets PACKED. They have a combination of individual tables/booths and communal seating.

Visiting the area and wanted to stop at a local coffee shop, then we came across Loki coffee. It was such a lucky because it has beautiful decor/ambiance and had great options that fit us. We got the Lox toast and avocado toast, it was amazing and super tasty. The salmon was delicious on my lox bagel and all was fresh. No complaints about the toast, we couldn't take a picture because it was already gone by the time we got home. Coffee; we had vanilla latte and Chia Tea Latte and both were super good. The cups are also cute that they come in.

Cute coffee nook! Lots of seating space and outlets. My partner and I dropped by as a last stop before heading to the airport. Love the bright, airy space-- so peaceful and cozy for reading a good book or working remotely. The staff were sweet and knowledgeable. They know what they're brewing for sure. COCONUT CARAMEL LATTE (hot, w/oat milk): Smooth, creamy, and just the right sweetness. The buttery caramel flavor complements the nutty coconut undertones so well. Great for a chilly afternoon :3 UBE COOKIE: Love ube anything! So chewy and soft. You can definitely taste the ube in every bite. My bf also ordered a pandan bread, which he said was true to flavor. Very impressed as the flavor can be hard to nail down. Would highly recommend!

I love seeing this place become such a locally loved spot in such a short amount of time! What a beautiful space. Yay for amazing third spaces that create amazing communities! It was packed here on the weekend when we stopped by. We ordered and were luckily able to find some seats by the front. There was a group playing chess at the main table up by the counter and several other tables around the perimeter of the space. It's a quaint space, but the space itself was utilized really well. If you're wanting a seat here on the weekend, get here on the earlier side or be willing to wait around until a seat opens up. There's limited tables and they were all full. I loved seeing so many people hanging out there on the weekend! We each ordered small/medium drinks, I got an avocado toast and my partner got the sliders, and we got two cookies from Bedlam Baking Company. Our order came out to $50+ with tax and tip, which felt like a lot for what we purchased. Everything we tried was good, but nothing stood out to us. The staff was lovely, the space is gorgeous and has amazing lighting, great ambiance, and I really am so excited to see such an amazing community being fostered here. I love all of the small cottage bakers being featured here too like Tomadochi and Bedlam. Parking is limited, I believe there's a parking lot in the back, but we were able to find street parking right out front when we visited.

The service here is always friendly and they are quick. I love that combo. It would be difficult to overstate the quality of the bakery here. Who ever conceived and executed the banana bread is not a mere baker but a scientist. I'm a good cook and I love to bake but I cannot conceive how this little deadly came to be. Truly it will set you back on your feet and become a new habit in your life. The breakfast cookie is also a stunner. The coffee is super smooth again. I can't say enough about it. They also have this little trick or instead of pumping gobs of syrup into your coffee for sweetener and flavoring. They have a hazelnut paste which contains chunks of hazelnut in it. This is really really a great way to sweeten your coffee. It taste clean and inviting. I think about it when I don't have one in my hand. Put simply I really dig this place. The only issue I have is it's always too busy. If you're going to chill and get a little work done, it can be difficult to get a seat with an electrical outlet despite the fact that they have installed a lot of them. If not, they've designed a nice overflow where you can sit outside at the front of the restaurant with tables and get a little sun on your face.

Love this place! They always have asian infused baked goods and I love their matcha. Recently they had a coffee tasting event and it was so fun. We got to try coffees from different countries like Colombia and places like that. I love the community aspect that this place has in slc I also love the furniture and plants every time I stop by.

I got to the store at 11:30am on a Saturday and it was packed! There were lots of groups here reading, studying and chatting. I really like their decor, flowers for sale and service. This is definitely a popular spot! I ordered the lavender latte which came out to about $6. I got my latte within 2 mins! The lavender smelt amazing. I was impressed by the balance of lavender, cream and coffee taste. It was incredibly smooth!

We ordered a hojicha latte with no ice and were disappointed to receive a half-empty cup. Drinks here seem to be filled mostly with ice. Unfortunately, this gave the impression that maximizing profit takes precedence over customer satisfaction. We would not recommend Loki Coffee to others.

Amazing food tomodachi and mims SLC included! So delicious and I think the coffee is super good. The only reason for a 4 instead of a 5 is the lack of parking and seating internally.

Loki is the new girl in town for coffee shop lovers! From the inside to the outside, one the the owners of Loki has nailed is aesthetics. Warm and welcoming, the ambiance here will turn you into a regular customer. If you plan to sit down and stay, my tip is to come early for a good seat! I've noticed that this place fills up fast. You must get one of the baked goods offered by Tomodachi Bake Shoppe Tuesday - Saturday. That's step #1. As far as drinks go, I love the vanilla latte, chai latte, or vanilla matcha latte. Would recommend!

What a cute .... But busy coffee shoot! It was at 1130am when we came for our 1st visit to Loki's ! The place with crazy busy with no place to sit and the noise level pretty loud it we still enjoyed our short visit! My London Fog was yummy - my miso brown butter chocolate chip cookie was also very yummy! We'll be back when it's not so busy - no problem with both parking - lot & street parking! Great bake goods & drink selections

Loki is high key the best coffee shop in Salt Lake. The coffee is absolutely solid. The decor and ambiance of the place is so nice; aesthetic, clean, and so fun. All the workers are so friendly and welcoming. But what keeps me coming back is their food. The vendors they source their food from are OUTSTANDING, and everything is so unique and inventive. However, they do not trade taste for oddity; every creative liberty they take is purposeful and adds to the dish. In the picture, my wife had the matcha latte, I had a cold brew, and we shared a black sesame brown sugar banana bread. It was so flavorful and moist. Not outrageous different from normal banana bread, but elevated. I will say, parking is hard to come by in the busy hours, but that's a small price to pay to go to what I think is the most exciting coffee shop in the valley.

I'm here way too many times!! Love the Tomodachi Bakery items, specifically the Ham and Gruyère croissant, the brown butter black sesame coconut banana bread, and the coconut caramel latte. Love the vibes here, and it's often busy so get there early so you don't miss out on the baked goods.

We went to Loki Coffee on an extremely busy morning. They managed to take our orders so fast and then despite how busy it was, our food was ready within just a few minutes and was so delicious. My partner got a hazelnut latte and it was genuinely the best, most rich tasting latte I've ever tasted. I got a lavender matcha and it was so light and refreshing. If I could give more stars I would.

Oh wow, the cold brew at this place is good, and the place itself is really nice. I had already eaten early before coming here but was looking for a coffee, but I'm willing to come back and try their brunch. There's not much variety, but I want to give it a try.

My friend and I got americanos, which were so delicious! We both drink americanos frequently, and Loki's option was top-tier! The atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous. They had plenty of seating for remote work. Lots of natural light. I personally liked the corner booth by the window. The staff was so friendly and attentive. They really put a personal touch on everything.

Having a (rotating!) pour over menu is a treat for Salt Lake - and the quality at Loki did not dissappint. Quick and efficient service, even for hot breakfast order. Small but well crafted menu. We got breakfast sliders and portion was big enough to split between two people. I would be back simply for pour over, but I think the rest of the menu is also well worth a try.

You can tell they really care about quality! Great drinks and pastries! I also love that the house made syrups aren't overly sweet so you can actually taste the coffee. Also please don't skip the banana bread it is to die for!!
