Spacious garden, real fires, historic haunt with ghostly tales.

"Getting to hang out in a spacious garden in Highgate Village would usually cost you seven figures and/or a serious charge for breaking and entering. Thankfully, you can head to The Flask’s spacious front garden instead. This ye olde pub was acquired by Fuller’s a while back and they’ve given it a little bit of TLC while retaining its village-y interior. The food is pleasant gastropub stuff—think sizable and well-fried fish and chips—and that’s all you really need if you’re planning to pitch up at this suntrap for the day." - jake missing, daisy meager, heidi lauth beasley
"The Flask is a well known pub in north London that serves friends and families in equal measure. Out front is a tonne of seating and, if that’s full, there’s always the green opposite." - jake missing

"An old-school Highgate pub suggested as a natural meeting place for mates, evoking classic local-pub charm and familiarity." - James Hansen
"Whether you’ve been at Hampstead Heath, Waterlow Park, or wandering around Highgate Woods, The Flask is a good place for an after-party, if only because hanging out in a spacious garden in Highgate Village would usually cost you seven figures and/or an arrest for breaking and entering. This old pub got bought by Fuller’s a few years back. They’ve given it a little bit of TLC whilst retaining it’s village-y and hidey-hole interior, and on a nice day it’s got one of the best beer gardens in London. The food is nice enough, and there’s decent choice, so it’s a good place to head if you’re with someone who’s a bit picky." - Jake Oliver

"A Highgate gastropub within the Fuller’s group known for classic pub fare and a relaxed vibe; a major pop star and her partner were spotted enjoying pints and a substantial fish-and-chips lunch, highlighting its appeal for casual celebrity visits as well as locals." - Guy Pewsey
