"If you have a mutual love for free stuff and wasabi, Toyoda is the casual sushi spot in Lake City for you. Everything on the menu comes with a complimentary noodle salad and miso soup. Any nigiri you get is on the larger side, but is priced very reasonably. And, the amount of wasabi they use will probably make your nose tickle (in a good way). Toyota Sushi in Lake City is every bit as exquisite as the more celebrated sushi-yas but with the look and feel of a family-owned neighborhood joint. If you can, snag a seat at the bar to watch the sushi itamae working — the fish here is so heartbreakingly fresh, you can tell just with your eyeballs. Keep it casual with specialty rolls and sashimi, or go all out with the buttery, savory seared hamachi or the melt-in-your-mouth black cod. "Toyoda is a little Japanese restaurant on the main strip of Lake City that serves some great, reasonably-priced sushi. You get a free noodle salad and miso soup after sitting down and the pieces of nigiri are on the larger side.
