I was looking around for lunch and saw that Hinoki Poke recently opened up. They are located next to Mari Chuy's in The Village at Rancharrah. There are plenty of parking spaces and they are currently in their soft opening phase until the end of the year! If you've tried Hinoki Sushi before, this is under the same owner.
The poke bowls are $15 each. There is only one size for their bowls. We opted for the build your own bowl. In our bowl, we got: base (white rice), protein (salmon, yellowtail), sauce (yuzu shoyu, ceviche), toppings (imitation crab mix 2x, red onion, cilantro, mango, ginger, cucumber, seaweed salad, won ton strips, tempura onions, green onions, furikake, fried garlic).
I liked how the mango was fresh and not canned. They also had tempura onions. You only get two scoops of protein though while other places give out 3-5 scoops for around the same price. It was interesting to try the ceviche sauce which I don't think other places have. I noticed there is no extra charge for avocado and it is listed under the premium toppings.
Overall, not bad. I do still have my favorite poke place, but this place did not disappoint either. I will probably check it out again once their soft opening is over.
