Yelp
Throwback to farmhouse style restaurant in Haleiwa individualistic tones, college vibes, apparently pork rules here.
Pork plate - sizeable mound of their 12-hour slow cooked pork. For me, I like my pork with a good bbq sauce but the one they served in a sauce cup was refrigerator cold. They have chipotle, habanero and mango/pineapple hot sauces that you can purchase for an additional 50c each, or just buy a whole bottle for $11! Problem was, I had to ask about all this - eventually, they gave me three sauce samples for free. I recommend chipotle which has more complexity than the habanero (the hottest), and more of a BBQ roasting flavor versus the mango/pineapple. Served in a to-go box with green salad and a scoop of quite regular white rice.
There's also a popular Pig on Grass plate that is basically the same as Pork Plate except instead of rice you get a bunch of salad, with cucumber and tomato upgrades.
Their breakfast menu is filled with different types of "bombers", a cute name for burritos. Then they also have bagels, sandwiches and wraps. But you come here for pork, no question.
The milkshake menu is extensive but I opted for a vanilla macadamia nut coffee instead. It was smooth, nutty with subtle vanilla bean reminders.
That's all...
