Portland’s 2019 Restaurant and Bar Closings | Eater Portland

"The motorcycle-themed North Portland cafe closed its coffee shop on October 18 but has found a new location in Kenton at 2747 North Lombard, though that new space has yet to open." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

They recently remodeled! Not sure if they still do, but they used to have multiple motorbikes on display that were cool to look at. Staff are so nice and make great coffee drinks. Nice, quiet place to enjoy some coffee and chat with friends, or just get some work done.

Nestled in St. John’s is a motorcycle-themed coffee shop called Two Stroke. The space is large, with plenty of seating options, making it a comfortable spot to hang out. If you’re visiting in the winter, I highly recommend the Nova Spice Latte (12 oz) — no substitute milk, add cinnamon (a staff tip). Trust me. And if you don’t know anything about motorcycles, that’s totally fine. You’ll still have access to some seriously good coffee.

Stopped in for a quick bite (hot, tasty, reasonably-priced breakfast sandwich?! Yes please!). Fun atmosphere, good conversation, comfy couches, and they even brought around fresh scone samples! Businesses like this feel like a sigh of relief.

Great spot for a coffee especially if you are interested vintage moto and enjoy moments of returning to yesteryear. Way better vibe than Starbucks. 🤩

We absolutely love it here. My fiancée works fully remote and sets up with her laptop to work from here at least once a week. Coffee is fantastic, we love their bagels, and the guys behind the counter are always welcoming. It definitely may seem like a more "masculine" vibe when you first walk in with the motorcycle motif, but all are welcome here (we are two queer women and feel very at home - even our dog is welcome inside, on leash). Highly recommend for a chill spot to relax with a delicious caffeinated beverage!

After trying the americanos in three different coffee shops I can tell you that this place is superb in its quality of drinks. Even the drip coffee is superior to the Americanos at the other places, simple as that. I bought a bag of their Latin American blend coffee and it is tremendous. This place is the cathedral of coffee in the cathedral area.

As good as it gets! Excellent coffee, friendly staff, a good mix of folks come here. I really like the way they make their chai lattes here, too. Not sure what they do differently but it’s excellent! Come for the coffee, stay for the good vibes and motorcycle culture. Don’t be intimidated by the bikes- this place is for everyone!

I really enjoyed this coffee shop. I got lucky with an open comfy, brown leather chair and a delicious oat cappuccino. I also ordered the breakfast sandwich and opted to add the jalapeno salmon spread. Highly recommend that spread, it was amazing!!
