"You’ll be hit by the homey mood at the door of this old Schlitz tavern, which smells like grandma’s house when she’s been cooking all day. Tucked away in a still-quiet nook of Bay View, the Serbian stalwart features cash-only dinners and worth-it 45-plus-minute waits for flaky böreks, both indicative of a night out in a different time. The flavors on the dinner menu run the gamut: Serbian salad, goulash, moussaka, chicken paprikash, roasted goose, chevapchichi (beef sausages).
