Hit West Coast Ice Cream Shop Salt and Straw Expands to Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"A new shopping and dining complex in southwest Las Vegas (6880 Helen Toland Street) that will host several restaurants and cafés, including a forthcoming Portland-based ice cream shop. The complex is positioning itself as a culinary hub, with neighboring concepts that include an upcoming restaurant from Nicole Brisson, a Nikkei restaurant called Kaiyo, and an already-open Urth Caffè, creating a cluster intended to attract food-focused visitors." - Janna Karel

Update: the owners updated the time, and all is well the world again. Thanks! This is NOT open on Saturdays as listed... please update this information so others don't make the same mistake. Thanks!

Fairly new but enjoyed the vendors! Love the area, grabbing coffee at Urth and then walking through makes for a great Sunday morning.

Yelp
I was here one Saturday and it was by chance because I was originally going to the UnCommons for coffee at the Blue Bottle. I walked through the venue. It was only a few booths. They had an olive oil/spice booth, baked bread booth, clothing, 1 small produce stand and what stopped me was the booth that sold snacks from Hawaii. I bought a couple of items from this booth and that was about it. Not sure if i will come back to this one anytime soon.

Yelp
I went here on a Saturday to check out the Outdoor Farmers Market. The parking Parking garage used was tight but manageable. It's a kiosk ticket system offering the first 2 hours free. There is very limited street parking (i don't know if that is free or not). There was a security person walking around the parking garage that I noticed, as I was walking to the elevators. The Market was nice. I found a few new-to-me vendors that I have not seen at other Farmers Markets I've been to in the city. A pottery vendor I liked a lot was Roots of Mexico. IMO, their prices were reasonable for what interested me, and I really admire the pottery craftsmanship and designs. I would be more interested in returning to UnCommons and this Farmers Market if the parking was free (no time limit or longer time) and/ or the Farmers Market was larger and offered more variety. Oddly, I don't recall seeing any produce stands among the vendors when I was there. It was nice and there is room for growth IMO with both the Farmers Market and UnCommons.

Yelp
This was a fun little walk through on a Sunday morning. This farmers market is quite small compared to the Summerlin or other ones in town and lacks some of the fresh produce stands. However, I know this one is newer and is still developing/growing so I'd be excited to check this out again in the future and see if more vendor options are added to it. From what was there, the vendors overall were nice and talkative; willing to say hello and engage in a conversation. There was one produce stand, some crafty goods, a honey stand, a crystal stand, two different bread stands, and a few others. There were not any drinks/coffee or quick bites to eat there for sale except for ice cream or Japanese rice balls; I'd like to see more options in the future. Parking is free if you are there under two hours and park in the structure. Great little spot to mosey around and then stop somewhere in the uncommons for a meal or drink.
