Some meals don’t just feed you — they romance your senses. Pangea Kitchen delivered exactly that. We started with the Burrata Toast, and it was an instant show-stopper. Fresh, in-house made mozzarella paired with roasted tomatoes and basil, served atop perfectly toasted bread that was crispy and buttery on the outside, warm and cloud-soft in the center. Every bite was rich, bright, and impossibly satisfying — the kind of starter that quietly sets the bar very high for what’s to come. Then came the star of the table: their Pistachio Pizza, baked in an ultra-hot oven until the crust reached that ideal balance of blistered crispness and airy chew. It featured their fresh mozzarella, a silky pistachio purée, delicate ribbons of prosciutto, and a drizzle of hot honey that tied everything together. The flavor play was exceptional — salty, sweet, nutty, and spicy, all dancing in perfect harmony. Each bite felt intentional, layered, and indulgent without being heavy. Pangea Kitchen has mastered the art of elevated comfort food — approachable, yet refined. You can taste the care in every component, from the house-made cheese to the thoughtful balance of flavors. Highly recommended, and a must try for foodies in Evansville!

Google
Very authentic Neapolitan pizza! Easily the best Italian-style pizza in the whole region! Many different pizza options with some decent Thai options and appetizers available as well. Lots of seating available and I never had a bad experience. One of the Top 3 Evansville restaurants!

Ana M.

Google
We had the Capricciosa and Pistachio. Both really good, the Pistachio one is a little bit too sweet for my taste but really original. You have to order before seating, the size of the pizza is enough for one person. In the same local you can order dessert, like cakes and ice cream and coffee

Luke D.

Google
Some of my favorite pizza ever. Highly recommend any of them! We generally get Neapolitan but the deep dish style is also great.

Bobbi T.

Google
Pretty good place. Fire oven pizza. There's Thai food as well. Will be coming back for more

Meg H.

Google
The customer service is excellent. The flavors are also very good. The menu is superb with a variety of options. It's a bustling environment, yet the dishes come out promptly, which is fantastic. I definitely want to return. There was a minor hiccup with the service, but they addressed it promptly and professionally. Everyone is diligently polite and attentive. There is a young girl at the nearby Cold Stone who is very rude and fails to provide polite service, but she pales in comparison to the staff here.

Rebecca H.

Google
Customer service was great. Pizza was so delicious! We also tried gelato and macarons - they were tasty. Pangea is very unique and fun. We sat on the closed in heated patio. It was warm and toasty. It was a great dinner out with family.

Danielle R.

Google
Service was so great & we got our food very quickly. We couldn’t decide what to get so we split the Thai Drunken Noodles & a Detroiter with burrata & hot honey added on. Both dishes were fantastic! There’s also a nice little sweets & gelato section for dessert after!

Palma J.

Yelp
Well worth a visit or three - which I did while travelling with my daughter's softball team. Excellent pies. Both the Detroit pies (with its crunchy and pillowy crust) and the Neopolitan pies (whose quality is revealed by its chew and char - making the Neopolitan breadsticks a must order as well) were paradigms of their types. And their pad ke mao? Enjoyed it three times during our stay. I must say their pad ka pao was a miss - I prefer minced chicken rather than the cubed chicken served with their take on the dish - and for some reason a citrus note emerged rather than the wok hei that all good thai dishes should have. But I cannot deduct a star for this miss. And don't miss their sister restaurant 2nd Language!

Alisha D.

Yelp
My sister brought me here a few months ago and I just brought my husband. Loved it both times. Had the pizza and a salad this time around and I had to fight the hubs over the last piece. The tiramisu is delish and I'll be back just for that alone!

Yelp
What a fantastic and unexpected restaurant, serving both pizza as well as some Thai dishes! I wasn't sure what to expect at first, but every dish completely won me over. There are options thin and deep dish pizzas along with gluten free options! Pizzas as very flavorful, stacked with plenty of toppings of your choice. The crust was perfectly crisp and chewy, and the toppings were fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully balanced. There are a few Thai-inspired dishes offered, which are a little step away from the classic rice noodles. And just when you think it can't get any better--enter the gelato. Smooth, rich, and incredibly flavorful, it was the perfect way to finish the meal. With unique and classic flavors alike, it's clear they put just as much care into dessert as they do the main dishes. You walk in and order at the counter, get your number and find a table - both inside and outside seating available. Place is nice to sit and enjoy a meal with family or friends.

Yelp
Ate inside, had plenty of leftovers to take home! Love the Koa Soi and pizza! Always a good treat

Yelp
There is a reason the pistachio pie is their best seller, it is amazing. You have to come out and give this place a try if you have not already. The food and service are great every time I visit.
google avatar

Courtney H.

Yelp
This is a really unique lunch place to go to. Beware though, even though you order at the counter it is not the quickest We got the drunken noodles and the pancetta pizza. Both were good but not 5 star worthy. The pancetta pizza was light and felt like a healthy pizza choice. The drunken noodles were thick. Kinda threw me off guard because they were Pretty dough. Has unique sitting rooms and a fantastic menu! Wish they actually brewed their ice tea. Their tea was gross.

Yelp
This was my second time dining here and I love it. Still. The food never disappoints and the service is always on point. The ambience is pretty cool too.

Yelp
Delicious food and outstanding service! I've been here four times during my work trip this month, and each visit has been consistently great.

Yelp
Pangea is always a great choice. The pistachio pizza, monthly taco specials, and Thai drunken noodles are always on our list. We love to sit in the bar area with excellent service, fun drinks, and an amazing vibe!!!

Yelp
Pizza was great. Atmosphere is fantastic. The prices are super fair and the gelato is legit. Staff was super nice and friendly and helped us understand what they offer as it was our first time in the door

Yelp
Pangea is truly exceptional! Every time we visit Evansville, it's a must-visit stop. Their Neapolitan and Detroit-style pizzas are hands down the best we've ever had. The Trinity Meatballs alone are worth the trip; we thought the Basil ones were our favorite, but last night, we tried the Chimi (chimichurri sauce) meatballs--and WOW, they've become our new favorite. The homemade spaghetti (with a side of marinara) is delicious. Be sure to try as much as you can and take home any leftovers--you won't regret it! I also have to mention the craft cocktails. The Old Fashioned is unbeatable, but last night we tried something new: the Talk Tiki to Me cocktail, made with Hard Truth Coconut Rum on the rocks--and it was incredible! Thanks, Pangea, for always delivering a fantastic experience!

Roxy W.

Yelp
Delicious food and amazing service! I'm on a work trip and have come here 4 times in the last month and every time has been wonderful.

Jakobi H.

Yelp
Amazing, not the highest quality chicken, but then again it isn't a chicken place. Great service, ambience is nice, location is a tad inconvenient
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing pizza, ambience, and staff! This is one of the best places I have found to eat in Evansville when I am back visiting family. I always look forward to going here.

Yelp
First time here.. it was busy.. so you look at a menu, wait in line to order and then they give you a table.. I have to say, the food is really good.. we had the Detroit style pizza. (It is a square thick crust pizza. ) we had the butcher , and added mushrooms and red onions. It was soo good. Hot from the over and cooked just right.. there is a side area where they serve Gelato and cakes. The Gelato was very good too. WoWould definitely recommend and will be back to try the other foods they have.

Yelp
I was told about this place by my coworkers at my job. This spot has anything from pasta, pizza, ice cream bar to expresso bar. It's essentially amazing. The servers are fast and they make their pasta dough in house so everything is extremely fresh. I tried the porcupine pizza and I loved it! It blew me away. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a craft pizza.

Yelp
Order and seat yourself. Pizza, Thai and gelato. I had the fresh sesame ginger salad and drunken noodles a signature dish. My husband had the pizza. For dessert the mini Cannoli's...yum! My salad was delicious and fresh. Drunken noodles with bok choy and ginger sauce was over cooked and a little bland. Ate all the veggies and left the noodles. CAPRICCIOSA pizza was excellent and so were the mini cannoli. Will go back and stick to the pizza, salad and dessert
google avatar

Kimber S.

Yelp
love this! unique style! I am not a fan of thick pan pizza except here. The detroit pizza is amazing! They also have asian food as well and the dumplings are to die for. There is also special deserts and gelato. if you have never been here you are in for a treat!
google avatar

Nat H.

Yelp
Fantastic! Red-White-Green Detroit Pizza was great. Spicy ginger salad was very good. This is a great find if you are in Evansville... Service was great.
google avatar

Lisa C.

Yelp
Modern pizza kitchen. When you walk in, order at the counter before sitting down. Many choices of Detroit Style pizzas or Neapolitan pizzas. They also offer ramen as well, and a few other Asian food delicacies. I appreciated that I could order gluten free as an option. Highly recommend gluten free Detroit style. It had a delicious crisp crust on the bottom of the pizza. Great balance of crust to ingredients. If you don't get full eating pizza, you can enjoy some delicious gelato for dessert.

Yelp
We're spending the night in Evansville and found this place on Yelp and it sounded like an amazing dinner spot. To start with we had the Burrata w/crispy prosciutto and the daily chick wings which was Korean wings. The Burrata was very good and the crispy prosciutto brought the needed salt. The chicken wings tasted more like a generic sweet Asian sauce I didn't taste any Gochujang or sesame oil as I would expect with a Korean wing. My wife had a Detroit style pizza and I will say it was absolutely AMAZING!!! I had the Pad Ke Mao which has house made noodles and a Thai sauce. The noodles were very good but the sauce was very sweet and heavy. It wasn't my favorite. My son had the Pad Ka Pao which is a Thai chicken dish with rice. It was again very overly sweet and heavily salted. If not for the rice it wouldn't be edible. It really wanted the Thai dishes to be super tasty but the flavors were just too harsh and not balanced. The Pizza on the other hand was the BOMB! I will say without a doubt it's the best Detroit style pizza I've ever had and if I lived here I'd have this pizza every couple weeks!
google avatar

Lil W.

Yelp
Nice inside with decent space. Pizza was 2/10. Floppy crust, chewy dough, runny sauce. I would go back for their Detroit style but it will be a while. Bunch of kids working there that don't know what they doing.
google avatar

Yelp
I visited Pangea Kitchen for the first time today ... Drawn there seeking Vegetarian Thai food ... I ordered the PAD KE MAO - THAI DRUNKEN NOODLES ( considered one of their Signature Items) Described as ; House-made noodles with stir-fried bok choy, wild ginger, fresh peppercorns, and garlic ($10.50) And I LOVED THEM !... YUM !!! Despite them looking and tasting ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like any of the many versions of Drunken Noodles that I've had at Thai restaurants before ! They are so DIFFERENT; I think they deserve a name of their own !! I've never seen thick Double-stranded noodles like these !... but they serve a generous portion of these !.... The Bok Choy included the greens at the tops , which reminded me of Spinach... and I don't remember ever having " fresh peppercorns" before ?... they look like tiny baby peas and are a nice addition ! The sauce is dark and thick ...almost like a thick gravy !... This dish is heavy and substantial !! It was very flavorful and I plan to be back and order it again !... Because I especially enjoy "chunks of different flavors and textures along the way" in my Thai food : I'll ask them to add onions and mushrooms the next time I order it .... The setting has a stylish " New York Loft" vibe...seems more a Groovy Pizza place than a Thai restaurant ... the workers all seem happy and helpful ! I'll try their pizza some day ... I'm betting it's really good too !!

Yelp
Pangea kitchen is a unique blend of food choices located in Evansville Indiana. This place offers everything from sandwiches to Detroit style pizza to even gelatos. My family and I were in town from Louisville for my daughter and niece cheer competition. My second oldest who also happened to be the one cheering is a massive Detroit style pizza fan so we made this place on our must visit list. Turns out it was a great choice. The pizza was delish as was the gelatos. We walked in and there is 3 sections to go too. A gelato section and a food line where you could order pizza or other food items and a 3rd section where workers were stationed at. My family went with a large Detroiter pizza. Which was basically Detroit style with double pepperoni. We also got a small 3 fungi which was a Detroit style mushroom pizza. My parents who was with my niece and her 3 brothers got a normal cheese pizza and my father got a Italian sandwich. Later after eating my dad got all the kids and himself gelatos. I guess I no longer make the "Kids" list because I had to go buy my own Andes mint gelato. Once you place your food order you are given a number and you pick out a place to sit and they will bring your food to you. There wasn't much of a wait for the food. Maybe ten minutes. For the gelatos you order at that desk and they prepare immediately. Reviewing the food first I will say The Detroiter was amazing. Very good Detroit style pizza. I'd actually rank it as my 2nd Favorite Detroit style pizza behind the famed buddy's (a top 5 pizza for me). My wife and oldest split the 3 fungi and both raved about it. My niece and nephew liked there cheese pizza but it was very tiny. Good thing for them they had gelato waiting for them and we had plenty of Detroit style pizzas to share. So the Detroit style and regular style pizza there is a drastic serving size difference. My dad said his Italian was really good as well. He is a man of few words so that's all I could get out of him. As mentioned he got all the kids and himself gelatos. They had a massive amount of flavors to choose from. majority of the kids got cookies and cream, there was also a Andes Mint chocolate (I got This too), a peanut butter, a regular chocolate and a raspberry cheesecake. Everyone was a big fan of the gelatos. I can agree. The Andes mint was very good and full of flavor. Overall This was a tasty and great trip. My only issue would be that despite a spacious floor plan with multiple rooms all of there seating options were smaller. Nothing Capable of hosting big families or parties. So we had to split up to two tables and borrow chairs from Other patrons at both tables. That said the staff was wonderful and helped as best as they could to accommodate our large party. Very cool and tasty place. Highly recommended for sure!

Lorrie F.

Yelp
Very very nice clean good service and good foodies in by quaint establishment and food looked as menu stated. Tasted amazing
google avatar

Yelp
The drunken noodles were super good. I could not get enough! Atmosphere is great, staff was friendly. The desserts were sinful (sorry, no photos because the gelato was gone before I thought of it)! Definitely will be back!
google avatar

Alicia M.

Yelp
In town for t A day and couldn't leave without a stop for my favorite drunken noodles

Mark S.

Yelp
Wow... I love this place. Highly recommend it. We had pizza and salad and was excellent. (Lunch on a Saturday) Service was great. Atmosphere great.

Courtney G.

Yelp
I ordered the drunken noodle. It was good, but I've had better. Next time I'd like to try the pistachio pizza. Service was good, order at the counter and they bring your food. You are in charge of refills. Casual in main room. There is a dining room in the back with larger tables for bigger groups.

Jennifer W.

Yelp
We have eaten here several times when in Evansville. Excellent little craft pizza place. I recommend the Detroit style pizza and all deserts are delicious.
google avatar

Kemi A.

Yelp
Funny how you don't notice a place that you have passed right by for so long. My coworker learned about this place when she was looking for food. She is new in town. I am often in and out of Evansville x 7 months so I am also still in search of new places to eat. Background- I am not really a pizza person but on occasion I have cravings. My coworker raved about the Pistachio pizza so that's basically what I ordered. I think there is some pistachio in it but I didn't really appreciate the taste of pistachio. There is minced meat on top of the pizza. And I can taste the honey drizzle. It's a thin crust pizza. They do have a dessert place in the same space as well. I wanted to get the Cnaoli but they didn't have any when I visited so I got the Creme Brûlée and Cookies n' Creme Tiramisu instead. They do serve cocktails/beers but I was doing take-away so I didn't get any cocktails. Inside is pretty spacious if one wanted to dine in. There is a Thai menu as well. Not sure how that fits into the whole pizza thing but it's an available option.

Ben B.

Yelp
Amazing menu choices complemented by a professional full bar. Everything is delicious and prepared fresh. Place your order and seat yourself. You will not be disappointed!
google avatar

Hope W.

Yelp
Best of the best! Best pizzas and best cocktails! Best desserts! Awesome beer selection! Amazing staff, amazing menu!!! Everything is over the top delicious! This is always a request for our out of town guests. You must make the drive or flight here to experience this amazing restaurant!
google avatar

Randy R.

Yelp
This place has a special place in my heart. I have been going since they opened, and I couldn't be more happy or proud of them for just making great food and having the best people work there. The atmosphere is casual, but the food is really second to none in its class. I've never had a bad meal there, and the staff have always been as nice as they could be! Where else can you go to have a meal with multiple cultural influences, followed by the best gelato, rounding out with excellent macaroons, and ending with the best latte you can imagine? All in one place?! In Evansville?! I haven't found it yet.
google avatar

Olivia L.

Yelp
Delicious pizza. Particularly loved the 3 fungi. Everything tasted really fresh and it didn't take super long to be brought to our table. Warehouse style restaurant with big open ceilings and an entirely open kitchen. I'd say my one complaint, if I had one, was that the menu was SO extensive that I had a hard time making a decision and sorting through it. My brain likes much less options.

Brian S.

Yelp
Food was VERY GOOD. Ordered the Pad Ke Mao (drunken noodles) with Chicken entree by phone $16 Service was EXCELLENT. Walked in all attendants busy. Asked guy clearing table where to find pick up orders. He directed me immediately to non attended register to right of order sign. Attendant making FRESH noodles just to left of register, quickly asked how she could help, stopped making noodles, Rang me up and presented me with my food. Food: Noodles were long and thick. Taste was EXCELLENT. Chicken was tender & moist. Sauce was thickened. This entree was a little bit ginger, a little bit garlic. Had bok choy, noodles, and chicken. Ambiance: setting seemed to be order and sit setting with preparation areas surrounding. Found the mixture of Thai food and pizza interesting
google avatar

Mark L.

Yelp
Good Food and hot and spicy curry noodles is my favorite. Also they have Creme brûlée or ice Creme at the specialty counter that is very tasty. Good atmosphere. Lots of young people and some older folks like me also.
google avatar

Yelp
Best pizza in Evansville. Great cocktails too in the bar area. I highly recommend the Baller pizza. Deep dish.

Yelp
A hidden gem right off a busy road but once visited will not be forgotten! We entered to an open industrial type space which could be a bit confusing but was laid out well. The food prep area runs along the outsides of the open space with tables placed in the middle for seating. They have outside seating as well as a bar area through a separate door (with additional seating). It is very much a fast casual with the menu boards hanging above the various area - pizza, deli and desserts. They also had menus on the partitions for up close viewing. We chose two Neapolitan options as we each wanted leftovers! Once you have your order you proceed to a spot marked order here. We paid and were given a number for our table. The staff was very friendly and it was obvious they enjoyed working there by their ease and laughter. We browsed a bit and by the time we sat down our pizzas were ready! I dug in to my veggie pizza and it was amazing! The crust is the right level of fluff to crisp and the wood fired flavor came through in each bite. I opted to go without cheese on mine and it was delicious even without that as the sauce mixed do well with the veggies I didn't miss the cheese. My husband devoured his pizza and almost ate a bit of mine! Staff came by often to take plates, pour water and ask if we needed anything which was helpful. Loved it and was very glad we tried it out! I can see going back tomorrow as it was that good. Now to go eat my leftovers!

Shawn B.

Yelp
Wow... This has fantastic gluten Free Detroit pizza! I wish I could make gf crust like that
google avatar

Kinsey C.

Yelp
My friend brought us here and I didn't really know what to expect, but expectations were exceeded! It's definitely a unique restaurant set-up, with dessert on on side and the kitchen on the other. On a Saturday afternoon almost all tables were full. I think it's really cool how you can see the pizza oven from your table. They both ordered pizzas, but I got the drunken noodles. They were bursting with flavor and the different textures of bok choy, thick noodles, and chicken made for a wonderful eating experience. There is a solid amount of chicken that will really fill you up. I had leftovers for 2 more days! Oh and the tiramasu! Worth a try. :) Will be back next time I'm in Evansville.

Kelly G.

Yelp
Amazing food, amazing service! It is definitely a gem and I must try. We will be back if we ever visit the area again!

Yelp
We decided to try one of everything (Well, as much as we could this time -- we'll be back for sure). After celebrating the bfs birthday here a couple of weeks ago it's safe to say it exceeded expectations. As a Hoosier by way of Michigan (I grew up about 20 min from Detroit), I could have taken a whole plate of our Detroit-style pizza's thick, crispy, buttery edges -- but the pizza itself was also 12/10. Here's what we tried (and would recommend all of it). If they happen to have Birria Tacos on special,be sure to get those. We've had the opportunity to try them at the sister location (2nd Language) and they're amazing. While I liked the Burrata Toast, the bf said he would have preferred less-crispy prosciutto (it's very crunchy), but flavor was great! * Detroit-Style Mushroom Pesto Pizza: Wild mushrooms, house-made mozzarella, and house-made pesto sauce * Kale & Arugula Salad: Tossed hydroponic greens with house-made lemon parmesan vinaigrette, dried cherries, walnuts, and shaved parmesan * Specialty Tacos: I believe we had the Adobo Chicken Tacos -- very tasty and brought both a little sweetness and heat * Burrata Toast: Crispy prosciutto, cherry tomatoes, balsamic glaze, and fresh basil We also had gelato and some drinks from the bar -- we were celebrating, after all! We ordered in the food-hall side (order at counter and they bring to table) but then had to go get our drinks from the bar side (you can bring them back over). It worked out perfectly as we could do that while waiting for our food. If you'd rather be waited on, then you can go into the bar side and have a true "dine-in" experience with food/ drinks ordered at and brought to your table. Patio seating is also available, but limited. Staff was friendly and service was great. Loved seeing the owner out talking to regulars and friends! Be sure to give this place a try!

Yelp
This place was recommended to me by an Evansville local. It did not disappoint. I sat at the bar and had a beer from their decent selection of taps. Ordered the Drunken Noodles. Good stuff. Good bar selection with several nice whiskey options. Knowledgeable bartenders. A variety of dining options and settings.
google avatar

Derek T.

Yelp
Killer pizza. I hope to come back and try some of the Thai dishes. Seating situation isn't the best, but we only had to wait about 5 minutes after ordering
google avatar

Stephen M.

Yelp
We had dinner here Thursday night. While they had a full house they made a table for the 11 of us. The manager was go helpful I can't say enough The food is good but not my style. My girls and grandkids love it. Great service thank you
google avatar

Cheryl M.

Yelp
I've been coming here since they opened and my review stands as is... Five stars! The pizzas superb, no matter the style you choose. The crust is to die for and the sauce flavor is the better than most I've had in the big cities that claim pizza supremacy! So couple that with the Thai option, drunken noodles, gelato and masterfully blended cocktails, this makes Pangea a must stop on your midwest restaurant bucket list!! Know before you go...large party knowledge. They do accept large parties, and I was told they would seat us together at one large table. However when we got there it was separated into three tables in one room. So make sure you ask ahead of time so you're not surprised upon your arrival. It didn't bust the experience, but it was disappointing.
google avatar

Kendall L.

Yelp
We came here with My elderly grandpa and they went above and beyond to help serve us. The drinks were out of this world, and I have a gluten allergy, which they made a fantastic gf pizza for me (Naples pepperoni). Nothing but rave reviews for this place.
google avatar

Madeline E.

Yelp
Very nice place! Their pizza was pretty good and they have a good wine selection! I've also had their Thai food before and it's amazing! Definitely coming back soon.
