14 Great Brunch Spots That Take Reservations - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Last night got a little wild and you ended up doing a late-night shot of something that was light blue and glow-in-the-dark. Time to give back to your body (and the world at large) and go to Little Pine. The all-vegan, Moby-owned Silver Lake spot where all proceeds go to animal welfare organizations is as Eastside as it gets, but the food here is pretty good. Also, the all-white space is calm, casual, and not as much of a scene on the weekends as you would imagine." - jess basser sanders, brant cox

Where To Eat With Boring People - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"While Little Pine is one of the better vegan/vegetarian spots on the Eastside, its quiet Silver Lake location isn’t exactly a party. But your antisocial co-worker mentioned he doesn’t do loud noises, so your forced-team-bonding outing has been solved. The spot steers clear from the it’s-not-meat-it’s-tempeh route and sticks mainly to good vegetables. And unlike most meat-less restaurants, Little Pine has no put-on agenda or tableside affirmations you’re supposed to read out loud." - brant cox

Where To Eat Healthy When You Don’t Want A Salad - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"With their entirely plant-based menu and a pledge to donate profits to animal rights organizations, Little Pine is the perfect spot for vegetarians, flexitarians, and anyone who has ever watched a Netflix documentary on factory farming. But there are no condescending lectures or PETA pamphlets at this Silver Lake restaurant, just a very solid mix of very healthy food. Make sure you start with an order of the broccoli arancini - they’re dense, beefy (well, not beefy) risotto cakes, and are ideal to eat while discussing topics like cow methane and how 45% of the Earth’s total land is covered by livestock." - brant cox, kat hong

Where To Have Dinner For Around $30 In Silver Lake - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"When this Moby-owned vegan restaurant - where 100% of profits go to animal rights organizations - opened in 2015, it quickly became the most Silver Lake restaurant in all of Silver Lake. And after a few years of operation, it still owns that title. But it also owns the title of being a very solid and unpretentious vegan restaurant. The all-white space feels like your roommate’s Etsy page, but in a way that’s tolerable and actually nice to look at. Everything on the menu falls under $17." - brant cox

Moby’s Closed Restaurant in Silver Lake Turns Into New Vegan Restaurant | Eater LA

"Housed at the address Argento will take over, Little Pine was a stable neighborhood spot once owned by Moby; its run became somewhat tumultuous after the musician stepped away in summer 2020 when a group of employees accused him of leaving them “high and dry,” offering little communication about the future of their jobs or benefits for weeks at a time, and Little Pine quietly closed late last fall." - Farley Elliott
