The 36 Best Restaurants in Lisbon, Portugal | Eater

"In a city that learned to eat pizza with a knife and fork, Lupita is producing high-quality Neapolitan-style pies that tempt diners to dig in with their hands. Duda Ferreira makes his naturally leavened pizzas using fresh, local ingredients, amplifying flavors with creative spins. Consider toppings such as anchovies with caramelized onion or mozzarella with pickled red onion, bacon, and pineapple." - Rafael Tonon

Lisbon Was Just Named the Best Culinary City Destination in Europe — Here Are Must-eat Places, According to a Local

"Get a delicious pie (or two) at Lupitas, one of the most popular pizza spots in the city. Each pizza on the menu comes with a little elevated twist that makes it feel all the more special. I am a big fan of the funghi, but the newly added street corn e spicy alla vodka looks just as delightful." - Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca is an award-winning journalist and co-founder of Be a Travel Writer, an online course for the next generation of travel journalists. Finally a non-Neapolitan pizza. The best pizza in Lisbon.

One of the best Neapolitan style pizzas I have had outside of Napoli (where we have been a lot). The pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven on full display in a buzzy atmospheric room. They have a lovely light and fluffy crust and delicious toppings. You can taste that the ingredients are top quality. Toppings range from the traditional Margherita or Marina to some more unusual (but not too whacky) ones such as Courgette and Burrata. There is a nice use of a local cheese (viso) on some too. No bookings - you have to wait in a line after adding your name to the wait list. We went at 1.30 on a Friday afternoon and had to wait around 15 minutes to get in. Really worth queuing for though IMO (and I hate queues as a rule :-]. Finally the service was fantastic - all the staff actually looked like they were enjoying what they were doing and were really friendly.

Really delicious pizzas and good service. We went at 7pm on a weeknight and got a table of 3 without waiting. We ordered the spicy diavola (we didn’t love the toppings on this, felt more of a Mexican vibe with the chimichurri and jalapeños, but maybe others would like this), and the vegan walnut and mushroom with mozzarella added - this was amazing and recommend to all meat and non meat eaters alike! Bases were fantastic.

We came as a group of three and ordered two pizzas. The wait was about 25 minutes. The seating is very cramped, with strong food smells and a lot of noise from other guests. The pizza itself was fine, nothing special. Prices are above average, but fair for the city center.

Lupita was a great surprise. I ordered the Margherita pizza and the "Our Spinach Pizza" - both were very tasty, with fresh ingredients and perfectly sized portions. The spinach pizza in particular really impressed me - the combination of spinach, ricotta, and lime was unexpectedly amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful - easy to talk to, even joke around with. The wait time for the food was very short, which was a nice bonus. I’ve heard there can be lines to get in, but we were lucky and got a table right away. The place is warm and cozy - literally, since you sit in the same room as the pizza oven, haha. It's a small space, but there’s enough room to sit comfortably and enjoy your food with a view of the street. The ceiling has beautiful decorative details, which add a lot of charm. Prices were fair - not too high, not too low, just right for the quality of the pizza and ingredients used. The location is also great - very close to Time Out Market and right next to the famous tram that climbs the steep hill. It’s the perfect spot for a delicious pizza and a drink, which you can enjoy in the room next door. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone near the waterfront looking for really good pizza.

Tried their Margherita pizza and garlic bread with cheese — everything was amazing! Service was quick, and I loved that you can see the kitchen while they prepare the food. Prices are great, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Thanks to the lovely team for a wonderful experience!

Many Korean people recommended this pizza. And I also recomment it. Especially, zucchini pizza is really fantastic with green wine. Further, Lucas was very kind. I received a great hospitality from here. I had a wonderful experience ever since I had a pizza. Even though this is a famous place for pizza lovers, I also recommend you to enjoy the pizza here!!^^

Second time getting Lupita pizza ( got it delivered this time round and was just as good as in the restaurant! ). Every pizza we’ve tried has been delicious, especially the courgette and burrata one. They don’t skimp out on the burrata like some other places!!! Decently priced especially for the quality of food. A must when in Lisbon.

We were recommended to go here from a shop down the street. The service was great and quick. They make the pizza to order. I have thought about this pizza almost everyday since having it 🤤 I would highly recommend going.
