I ordered the jokbal 족발 (braised pork trotter) and soft tofu stew 순두부 찌개. The jokbal was tender, flavorful, and came with all the right sides for wraps, while the soft tofu stew was hot, silky, and perfectly seasoned to enjoy with rice. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, just like food from back home🥰 The atmosphere was cozy, the service was kind, and overall it felt like a truly authentic Korean dining experience. Really good and authentic Korean food! We were seated quickly and given menus and drinks asap. All the food was delicious and came out quick too. Plenty of sides to share with the table. The customer service was great too and everyone was friendly. There is also plenty of parking and a clean restroom to use. Would love to come back again!

I got the spicy noodles with vegetables. The menu said it was level 2/3 spice, but I don’t think it was accurate. I wish the sauce was more flavorful or had a full egg. It looks like the soup may have been the better choice instead of what I got, but I have been craving a good place for cold noodles. Side dishes came out quick. The plaza the restaurant in is very empty and eerie. There is lots of free parking in the parking lot. The restaurant has a few outdoor seating but lots of booth seating inside. Service was okay, the Korean lady was nice.

Checked out this hole-in-the-wall restaurant recently. Note that GPS may not be accurate (its at the base of a complex, keep driving downhill). Was especially impressed by the Korean sausage soup. $17.99 and full of sausage and stomach and it was very flavorful. The mackerel was huge. Place is run by Korean mom/housewives that serves extremely authentic food.

The place is behind the building, a true hole in the wall kind of place. There is plenty of parking. The restaurant is small, but welcoming. The service is good, they are attentive. The food is lovely, I really recommend getting the beef soup. They were selected best Korean restraint in 2018 apparently, and I would say they are still quality. Overall would come back 10/10.

Great service and great cooked foods. Soups...are ok. The service here was fantastic. Everyone one was great. The jeon here is some of the best I've ever eaten...my mother's included. It's just perfectly mixed and crispy. The haemul pajeon (seafood and spring onion pancake) and the kimchee jeon (kimchee pancake) are FANTASTIC. If you come here, you have to order one of these. They are the best things on the menu. The ojinga bokkum (stir-fried spicy squid) is also great. It comes out on a sizzling hot plate and continues to cook and makes the squid so tender and delicious. I've also tried the dwoenjjang chigae and the kimchee chigae and they were ok. Nothing special and nothing worth making the trip for. You can get the same quality soups at H-Mart or Assi Market and take it home for much cheaper. Lastly, the banchan, the free little appetizer bowls/plates that come with every Korean meal are so good here. They are an event in themselves and I love that each time I come here, they are different and always fresh and delicious.

Yet Tuh is a humble, delicious and non-pretentious spot located in a nondescript parking lot serving massive portions of Korean comfort food, ranging from your classic bulgogi combos to their take on more unique classics such as grilled mackerel or hairtail fish. Although everything looked delicious I decided to stick with one of their classic combos with their soybean paste stew which comes with a side of 3-4 pieces of short-rib. The stew was flavorful and rich and bursting with flavor. I was thankful it wasn't so salty as to detract from the taste although I felt the bulgogi short ribs were a bit on the blander side. Still, as part of a combo meal I wasn't too disappointed and enjoyed the pairing of protein with the stew. In hindsight, I think it's significantly better value to order the soybean stew on its own ($10.99 vs $25.99 as part of the combo) but I'm not complaining too much. The seafood pancake was also delicious and was a massive portion, split into 8 pieces. It was packed with seafood so you definitely get your money's worth (only $3 more compared to the general kimchi pancake) and a great appetizer if you have a party of four or more. Overall, I think this humble spot lives up to its name and collection of awards. In an area dominated by delicious Korean food Yet Tuh holds its own and manages to impress with its extensive menu and attention to detail.

We really enjoyed our food at Yut Teh and feel as though it should be more well known. You get a home-y feel there with delicious food. The Korean aunties serving us were very kind and happy to answer any questions we had! Food came out in a reasonable time. We got the seafood pancake (so thick and crispy), the kalbi & soondubu combo, and the flatfish. We were quite full with the banchan too which they were happy to refill. I only wish the cost was a little more affordable and for the kalbi combo to have more pieces.

Came back to try some other dishes. Group of friends shared: - bibim naengmyeon: spicy noodle with lots of veggies. The veggies added a nice freshness, but the sauce itself wasn't well balanced. Not enough sweet and acidity. The portion was big though (2.5/5) - LA kalbi: standard beef ribs (3/5) - fermented soybean soup: this was my favorite of what we ordered! Tasted like my grandma's (4/5) - seafood pancake: HUGE. Also, very crispy almost fried? Can see it being heavy for some people but I liked it. Come with a spicy sauce to dip (3.5/5)

4.5 stars solid traditional Korean restaurant itp. I enjoy the soybean cold noodles here in the summer and haven't been able to find it anywhere else in atlanta yet. The hairtail fish soup is also a good choice if you want to venture out. The side dishes are always pretty good and service is friendly.

Amazing food and service! After eating here on consecutive weekends I'm convinced that this is some of the best Korean food I have ever eaten, and that is quite a lot! Everything is so delicious and well seasoned. The bon chon is fantastic, with delicious fresh kimchi and other tasty dishes to start off with. The seasoned celery was also another side that I really enjoyed. The service was quick to offer refills and answer any questions you may have. The server Millie was awesome. I had the spicy cod stew on one visit and the mackerel on the other visit. Both were super! The spicy soup really had a kick! If you are in the area this place goes as one of my highly recommended restaurants to go to.

The seafood pancake was the best I've tried at Korean restaurants. It was very crispy and packed with seafood. The hand torn noodles were so comforting and chewy, there was lots of seafood and vegetables inside. The soup was also spicy and flavorful. The tofu soup here is also pretty solid, also less protein in it compared to the noodles. I honestly love the side dishes here and think that the kimchi is so fresh and tasty. They also give you free refills. The service was pretty fast and good. Definitely check this place out for a quick hearty meal.

Quality comfort food with tasty side dishes. They're not flashy, but great basics. I had their beef rib with cabbage soup (우거지 갈비탕) (~$15). It comes with a bowl of rice, and it's so good to mix that bowl right into the steaming soup. Honestly, there wasn't many beef ribs for the size of the soup. Still, I really enjoyed the taste and the comfort it brings. I also suggest the spicy cold chewy noodles (쫄면) ($12) for those who enjoy bun-shik type of food. There are both outdoor and indoor seatings. Parking was odd although there is a private lot. It's quite packed for such a small plaza.

I come here every now and then for some hidden gem Korean dishes. The restaurant is located all the way in the back corner of the commercial buildings. You'll have to keep driving all the way to the end to locate it. My friends & I usually celebrate our birthdays here for some yummy Korean dishes. However, the servers may not appear that friendly to customers who are not Korean decent & will move you to another table in the middle of dining to serve a larger group of Korean American teenagers of around 15ppl so they could combine our original table with another just for their unexpected arrival. My friends & I thought it was kinda rude that they moved us abruptly. Luckily, we haven't ordered yet but was starving at the time with menus in our hands ready to order. The "ban chan" = side dishes will need to be requested for a refill as soon as they're empty. These side dishes & our beverages should be observed by waiters/waitresses often. Though, it's not regulated among the Korean restaurants in the area unfortunately. It's very rare that they would refill without us requesting for them every time as needed. I would recommend this place if you're in the area. Hopefully, they are not "busy" at the time of service.

After nearly two years of patient searching for solid, authentic Korean food in Atlanta, we finally made our way to Yet Tuh. Yet Tuh sits along Buford Highway, the main stretch of road that houses an impressive stretch of authentic international restaurants, including Korean food. Roughly translated, Yet Tuh means 'What used to be'. I didn't ask our matronly smile-bearing server about the name, but I curiously wondered if the food-laden bowls and plates she brought to our table reminded her of homes, meals, and childhood memories that used to be. Speaking of plates, every Korean restaurant worth its salt will offer a set of banchan, or side dishes. While each joint has its own signature dishes, or unique takes on traditional ones, there are always some dependable mainstays. Kimchi, or spicy fermented cabbage, is one of them, and Yet Tuh offers its patrons a particularly fiery batch. For those unfamiliar to this traditional cuisine, think of these small side dishes as a low-stakes gateway to authentic Korean food. It's free of charge and sometimes placed on the table even before you order. For nostalgic hungryfolk like me, these small plates of fishcakes, seasoned bean sprouts, and sweet and salted soybeans were an automatic doorway to home. James' standby order is yukgaejang. 'Jang' means stew, and most Korean restaurants will offer their stews in small, black earthenware pots. If the kitchen fires them up correctly, they'll continue to bubble deliciously with retained heat as you head in, spoon first. Yukgaejang is a spicy meatstew, featuring soft strands of brisket, glass noodles, and chopped vegetables. Side note: if you suffer from nose drippage from KFC's spicy chicken, this dish isn't for you. That deep red color packs quite a punch, and James tested the absorbency rate of three napkins before reaching the bottom of this bowl. This place is a hidden gem. I ordered two dishes here: (1) the beef rib and cabbage soup and (2) the green onions with seafood pancake. Each dish came out piping hot. The pancakes were nice and crispy. The soup was sizzling hot and perfect for a rainy day. There was also a good selection of banchan. Unpretentious, old school Korean spot. Quality of the food was pretty good, but I haven't been back in Atlanta in so long I don't know if there's better to be had in the area. Banchan was so delicious will free refills, service was mellow, and the goat soup was so comforting on a rainy weekend. It was like a peppery gamjatang. My spicy beef soup was pretty nondescript, about 90% fern/glass noodle/leeks, but the flavor was decent. I live in LA now but would have loved this in LA too. I've heard much about this place over the years and am glad to see it's still doing well and serving quality, unpretentious Korean all these years.

I've been coming to Yet Tuh for years, and the service and food have always been consistently great! If you're looking for traditional Korean food, I highly recommend this restaurant. It's small and tucked away in a corner near another Korean restaurant and a church. The menu is quite vast, and each entree comes with six delicious side dishes. My go-to meal here is the Spicy Cod Soup. It has a lot of heat and flavor! This time, I tried their Kimchi-Jjigae. The stew, which included bits of pork belly, tasted tangy. It was perfect for a cold day!

Best Korean food I have found yet in the ATL metro area! This is truly a hidden gem, tucked away at the VERY BACK of a shopping plaza. I kept wondering, "are we in the right place?", but Google Maps led us exactly to where we needed to be! We ordered tofu soups, spicy noodles, and a rice bowl dish, and all were delicious! The spicy noodles (my dish) were served room temp and had a slightly sweet sauce with just enough heat to be flavorful, in my spice-loving opinion. Loved all the banchan, too. My relatives are Korean tofu snobs and proclaimed they were big fans of this place, so we will definitely be back! Other notes: Parking is plentiful. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. There aren't a ton of big tables, though, so best for a smaller group unless you are ok sitting at separate tables.

Of course we knew the prices but it was a little expensive for what I'm used to. Although the portions were quite large As for the taste, it was average and not extraordinary, and the service was very quick but blunt. I would recommend if you're going with 3-4 people since the price is more reasonable, but to split between 2 it's a little $$. Overall not bad, but would rather go somewhere cheaper with a better atmosphere

Small restaurant tucked away off intersection of Oakcliff and Buford Hwy. Wasn't too busy for a Friday night. The spicy beef soup and the galbi were the best items we ordered. The soup was splendid with a good mix of spices but not too spicy. The soft tofu with beef stew was mediocre, but we added some of the spicy beef soup to it and it was better. The rice mixed with beef and vegetables was easily the most unpopular dish. We needed to add some sauces/spices to make it taste better, plus it came out a little on the room temperature side (we did ask for it to come out hot). $25 for 9 pieces of galbi was another thing that we were a bit surprised with. At that price, we would seriously consider going to a Korean AYCE instead (and likely would).

In my quest to visit Atlanta Magazine's 75 best restaurants, I visited Yet Tuh off Buford Highway for some kimchi stew, beef bulgogi, and the star of the show -- seafood scallion pancakes (aka haemul-pajeon) This restaurant is super affordable and very yummy, but not sure it would make my personal top 75. The banchan was quite limited when we went, and the bulgogi was less flavorful than others I've had. The kimchi stew was good, and and the scallion pancakes were to die for! We loved the outdoor seating option, but as a heads up, the patio is very small and not heated. Indoors is cozy! As for service, it's alright -- our server was helpful with navigating the menu, but didn't come back to refill water or ask if we wanted more soju. Overall, probably won't rush back, but if I did return I would load up on the pancakes :)

This location isn't the most visible. Google will most likely bring you to a set of buildings that look abandoned and desolate. You will have to drive around to the end where Yet Tuh will be located. We all shared the green onion pancake with seafood. It was sizable and filled with a good variety of seafood pieces. With three people, there were leftovers so it's very filling -- if you have your own personal entree. The pancake can even be an entree if it's something you're thinking. Overall, it's an average pancake like any Korean place. It looks bigger though, but it could just be me and forgetting how large it truly is. My choice of the Korean bean stew was the most unique. The soup was thick like mashed bean curds; it looked like cheese tbh. It's not a soupy soup nor stew-like either; it had a creamy and semi-condensed look. It was pretty flavorful with bits of scallions. If you're aiming for different, this dish is it. I can't say I have seen this at any other Korean places. The hubs' pick of the spicy sausage stew was sound as he seemed to like it very much. There was an abundant amount of meat with two or three varieties. This was surprising bc sometimes the soups are watery and filled with more tofu or veggies than anything else. His soup was somewhat spicy; it was good if you like spicy food. Yet Tuh seems to still have a good amount of customers, especially Korean, despite its hidden location. I guess good food won't keep the people away. Service was pretty good too.

I'm so glad that I tried another solid Korean restaurant on Buford highway. It's located in a weird spot but there's plenty of parking available compared to the parking lot at Sokongdong tofu house. Service was great and they were not that busy at all. The restaurant is very cute and quaint. We ordered the seafood pancake and the sausage stew. Both dishes were so good and they gave us a lot of banchan!

Traditional Korean fare in a hidden location off BuHi OTP. This is a review for an early dinner. +. Ambiance is a cozy Korean diner vibe. We arrived without a reservation and were seated right away for a weekend dinner. It was about 50% occupied and was full within 1/2 hour. ++. Food is traditional Korean fare. The mains include (cup of) soup but it isn't mentioned on the menu. I hadn't seen mi yuk forever and found it comforting. My bibimbop had a side of rice instead of everything in one bowl with rice under :-). My friend's fried pot stickers (mandu) were very good also. Their banchun were on point. Was surprised to find they do not have cold noodles (off menu) and cold dishes for the summer for such traditional restaurant. Most dishes are warm / hot foods and maybe better suited for the Fall and Winter months. ++. Price is very reasonable! ++. Service is prompt and friendly ++. Parking is private lot and plenty Overall, YT offers very good traditional fare worthy of revisits. It is however, not an easy restaurant to find.

UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS!!! I've been in Atlanta for a decade and am just now discovering Yet Tuh. We ordered SO MUCH FOOD because we wanted the variety, and were not disappointed. The dolsot bibimbap was ON POINT, and all the soups were fantastic. My fave was the spicy soup with ham and sausage. The banchan kept coming and the sweet server provided us some extras we requested, including ssamjang, rice, and lettuce. I cannot wait to take everyone I know back to this spot. My Korean mother also vouches for this place!

Absolutely delicious! With so many authentic Korean options, this is still one of our go-to places. This is a little mom-and-pop shop. The staff are very friendly, and the food is great. My favorite is the haemool pajeon - so crispy and fluffy and full of veg and seafood. My husband, who lived in Korea for a year, loved their tofu soup and pork/squid stir fry. The food tastes like something you would eat in a Korean household, and they are extremely generous with the side dishes unlike other Korean restaurants. My favorite thing to order here is the Grilled Mackerel; I think it's $11.95. That's very cheap for a whole fish in my opinion! The service is great too;the ladies that work there are very nice. This was a suggestion from someone we recently met who said it was a hidden gem we had to try! And man was she right! We met our friends who love Korean food too so we had quite a mixed bag of things! What a wildly creative menu with a trend out selection and many gluten free options! We had the Green Onion Seafood Pancake as a starter was not GF, but could easily feed 6 people. We shared everything, so in no particular order we enjoyed the Octopus with Vegetables, Spicy Sausage Stew, Grilled Mackerel - like fresh off the coals on the beach, Bibibab, Omerice, Bone Broth soup and a bevy of "comes with" sides- fish cake, kimchi, pickled eggplant, coleslaw, pickled peppers, seaweed & radish salad. AUTHENTIC! Great flavors! Spicy,but not burn your membranes hot! It's on the first level of retail complex, so drive around and down to the bottom of the hill. Plenty of parking!

Cute little place with lots of parking - kinda hidden away in the back of a multi use building. First visit today, not crowded at all. Service was very prompt and personable. Cold beer to begin while anxiously awaiting the banchan arrival. A little disappointed with only 8 small dishes....5 of which I didn't care for. My galbi came out sizzling a few minutes later.- not a huge portion for $25 but very tasty. Photos for proof.

This place is pretty hidden if you don't know what you are looking for. Keep driving towards the back! Overall, it is a pretty decent traditional Korean food restaurant. You can get your tofu soup, bibimbap, cold noodles, galbi cravings satisfied here. The menu is pretty extensive and plenty of dishes were offered.

This wasn't a place I'd return to. I ordered a spicy soup with some kind of dough that I thought was supposed to be good. I didn't like it at all and that's probably my bad for not knowing what I was ordering. Everything was super expensive and I hated my food to the point I barely touched it. The banchan was ok. Nothing too exciting. Just normal stuff like radishes, pickled veggies, kimchi, mushrooms, pancake, fish cakes. My bf had the bibimbap and I should've ordered that too. It was still expensive I think for bibimbap. I don't think I'd go back here

Took me a while to try Yet Tuh, although it's been on my radar for years. It finally did happen one wonderful Sunday afternoon. First things first.. finding the place is a challenge! When they say it's at the back of the plaza, it truly is AT THE VERY back of it. It took me a while, second guessing myself and studying all of the mysterious doors with even more mysterious signs. You'll see an "all you can eat" Korean restaurant first so go all the way around it and you'll find Yet tuh. We came in at noon and there were three tables seated inside but the place quickly filled up. It's kind of amazing that the whole place seems to be run by one waitress and a cook. Not only that but she was also answering the phone, clearing tables and making some of the dishes, while remaining cheerful and attentive. I was quite surprised as a lot of times the staff at Asian restaurants aren't very helpful and seem to yell at you. The interior is clean and cozy and they also have a patio - definitely claiming it once it gets warmer! The menu is quite extensive and the portions are large. We split seafood pancake and stir-fried squid with veggies, which of course came with ban chan, 8 of them to be exact. My favorites were cukes, fish cake, and lightly pickled carrots and celery. The rest were a-ok. The pancake was awesome! Light and crispy with plenty of seafood. Also, HUGE! I can just order this every time and be happy. The squid could have used some more cooking, I found it to be somewhat chewy and tough. Also, there didn't seem to be enough of veggies in this dish. Overall: great food, plenty of parking once you find the place, patio, decent service, big portions, clean bathrooms. Beer and wine only though and no wi-fi but definitely worth a try!
