l: We had an awesome dinner. Loved the HOMEMADE TONNARELLI PRAWNS, CHERRY TOMATO, CARROT, PROSEK, GRANA PADANO and the SEARED TUNA. The Radovanović Grk was a nice, crisp and refreshing white Croatian wine. We also very much enjoyed the Volarevic Plavac Mali Gold red Croatian wine. Ante and Egor were very kind and gracious and made the experience all the more memorable. Hotel said Zinfandel is the best dinner choice for its casual yet refined vibe, exceptional Croatian wine list, and menu emphasizing fresh, high-quality ingredients and they were spot on. Located in Old Town, this bistro offers Mediterranean-inspired dishes with clean preparations, avoiding fried or briny, creamy options. Their focus on grilled or lightly prepared meat and seafood, paired with one of Split’s best wine selections (featuring boutique Dalmatian producers), catered to my taste for premium, unadulterated flavors and excellent wines. The warm ambiance with live music offered the perfect experience without being overly formal. Highly recommend making reservations and sharing so you can order as much as you can off the menu. I regret we didn’t have room for more as I heard the octopus is also amazing.
