Came for lunch today after a 5k race and everything was scrumptious! My favorite dish was the bulgogi chicken, but everything was amazing, even the small plates they setup before you arrive to your table. Our server was very attentive and kind. Usually Korean BBQ places I go to have poor airflow and can be smoky, but that’s not the case here. Also, the bathroom was so clean! Will definitely be going again!

Google
One of the best kbbq place i go to. Clean place. But what is rare is that their meat just looked good, better than other places. Also they were the fattier cuts, so they were flavorful, and naturally didn't stick. Good portion too. Steaks at kbbq were usually meh, but the steaks at this place were actually very decent. I will definitely come back again

Google
Ember Korean BBQ is one of the KBBQs close to my home. They have the best dining rooms, which I like. There is more space between tables, so I feel more privacy and less crowded than at the other Korean BBQ restaurants in the area. The food tastes good, and the attentive employees make it a pleasant experience. I know I’ll keep coming to Ember Korean BBQ.

Google
We were there during lunch time for all you can eat, but we decided to do dinner menu which has more choices of meats. I love all the side dishes they serve, you can refill the side dishes if you like. The cold noodles and tofu soup are very delicious. They have beef, chicken, pork and seafood. All meats are in good quality. You can do half order if you want to save your stomach to try more varieties. At the end, we got a fruit ice cream bar which is also yummy. Will come back again.

This place has just opened and for a place that is fairly new they have done it all right! Starting at the beginning as I walked into the establishment we were greeted right away with friendly smiles. I was impressed by how nicely clean and wide open the establishment was. As we waited for additional party members show up we made our way over to their large bar and again we were met with friendly greetings. When our party showed up we were taken to our table where again it was nice and clean. The service is where I think this place won me over. There was not one time during our whole time there that I had to wait for service. The food was amazing and the flavors were wonderful! The owner came out and even made recommendations he recommended the rib fingers, by far one of the best tasting cuts I've ever had at a kbbq place! From start to end one of the best dining experiences that I've had in a while! I will for sure be back! 10/10!

Google
Great service and friendly staff. The meat was good quality with a nice selection of both meat and seafood. They also have a good variety of alcoholic drinks — I tried the lemon drop and really enjoyed it. Prices are reasonable, and overall it was a fun Korean BBQ experience.

Google
It’s really nice having a Korean BBQ place close by. We stopped in for lunch and had a great time. The food was delicious and satisfying — definitely come hungry, because the portions are generous and everything’s worth trying. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. I just wish we could choose our own place to sit — it would’ve made things feel a bit more relaxed. We’ll definitely be coming back, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a solid Korean BBQ meal in the area.

Yelp
Food: this is my favorite KBBQ spot in Elk Grove. The meats are fresh with good selection of seasoned and unseasoned meats and probably the best variety. Have things like pork jowl and rib fingers, and all the standards meats. Side dishes were good as well. Comes with dessert at the end. Service: solid but nothing crazy. Some waitresses are more sticklers on the 3 meats per round than others. Ambiance: great for big groups. Like the vent right over the grill. Tons of tables so the wait shouldn't be too crazy!

Yelp
Came here tonight because my friends wanted KBBQ for a birthday and it ended up being a pretty solid choice. This was my second time here and it is honestly a dependable spot. The service was good, the staff checked in on us frequently, kept our waters filled, and the protein options were solid. Nothing mind blowing and nothing disappointing. It is just good Korean BBQ overall. The only thing that threw me off was the floors. As soon as I walked in, I noticed how greasy and slippery everything felt. Same thing walking to our table, and the mens bathroom was even worse. I almost slipped, so I really hope they deep clean the floors better because that could get dangerous quickly. Besides that, we had a good experience and I would still come back if needed. Update: i had to switch from 4 Stars to 2 Stars because I forgot one big issue. The fried rice was soggy and spoiled. I thought it was just me but my friend gave it a taste as well and he confirmed it. Many couldve gotten sick!

Yelp
Went to eat with my family and made reservations same day on a weekend. My family and I were all pretty hungry, 5 adults, 1 child and a baby. Qualified for child prices which was nice since my son is 9. Walking in it was really spacious and clean, I loved the vent systems it reminded me of over seas kbbq. The only thing is you have to keep it low for the smoke and when we did raise it, our waiter asked us not to. Understandable but sometimes it got in the way of cooking. Let's get into the food, we ordered corn cheese, gyoza and fries for apps. Nothing bad to say, but nothing out of the ordinary. As usual, ordering three meats at a time. The marinated meats were like the apps. Honestly this place is okay for their meats nothing out of the ordinary again. Melona for dessert. The wait staff was kind. Honestly come try it out, my experience went smooth. Nothing bad to say at all. I'll be keeping this place in rotation ‍ I would like if they had Shirley temples and Roy rogers though. That's my go to.

Yelp
Came here for the first time on a Friday night where they were busy, but we were seated quickly. Our server, Anna was great-she checked in on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The Meat was marinated well, but we felt some of the meat cuts were a little tough, and that the quality of the meat is better at Oz. The tofu soup was very good though, while the banchan was just ok. Otherwise, it's another solid KBBQ option in EG.

Yelp
This place is our go to spot for Korean BBQ, Great service great atmosphere, our waiter Kyle was awesome, everyone should go ask to sit in his area. The food was super marinate well especially....I forgot what it's called but something steak Fingers those are so good. So I really recommend if you go to this place order those.

Yelp
It's always nice to have ayce kbbq options in the area other than oz ! Ember is located in the same shopping center as Burlington coat factory ( formerly mervyns) and hobby lobby ! You can't miss it . I really enjoy ember and the many options they offer . They have a full bar , plenty of appetizers, and so many meat options to choose from ! While I think their banchans are just ok ( I like the bean sprouts and cucumbers the most) I always enjoy my experience here . Every time I dine here , my servers are usually jay or Derek and they always do such a fantastic job . If you're craving a nice ayce kbbq with great service , I highly recommend ember !
google avatar

Yelp
My go to Korean BBQ is usually Oz... but this one was also very good! Sides: chicken nuggets and then season fries were SOOO good!! Plenty of bonchon, meats were plentiful and yummy as well. Will definitely be going back.

Yelp
When I walked in the restaurant seemed busy so I waited for a table. The atmosphere was lovely and clean. I like how the vent sucked out the fumes from the grill. The ramen was delicious so I definitely recommend to try it. I also tried the cheese ramen which was good. The meat lacked in flavor. It was palatable when I added the house sauce. I like having a lettuce wrap option in addition to rice paper. Our server went on break without telling my table. Although I ate my food since I was hungry, this place has only improved slightly since the soft opening when I tried it.
google avatar

Yelp
Very amazing meats and appetizers! I ordered the soy garlic beef belly every round, it was so good! The LA galbi was also really juicy and tender, super well marinated. As for their appetizer, the onion rings were huge, the batter was almost like a tempura batter (my favorite!). Our server, Kimberly, was kind, attentive, and continually coming back to make sure we got our rounds in. Ember is a large restaurant, lots of seating and with a full bar at the front.

Yelp
Immediately seated for a weeknight dinner. Love the sides. Meats good. Attentive server. Nice big restaurant. Will be a returning customer

Yelp
Oz in Elk Grove has been my go-to for years but I've recently tried this place 2 times so far and it is super delicious, it's literally just as good as Oz and I wouldn't say that about any other kbbq place I've tried. Both time I've eaten here the service was good no issues. I really love their sides and their appetizers are super tasty as well they have a lot to chose from. This kbbq is definitely a must try if you are a kbbq lover like myself. 5 stars if they had one more dessert option besides the ice cream.
google avatar

Sue V.

Yelp
This K BBQ spot has vents over each grill so it captures a lot of the smells but... you will still smell like K BBQ afterwards so dress accordingly. Unlike some other places that have self serve sides, this spot brings everything to you, including the sauces. It was helpful because a few folks in our party weren't very mobile so it was convenient to have everything brought to us. I'm not too picky so all the meat quality seemed fine. The favorite at our table was the Angus beef followed by the rib fingers. I personally liked the bulgogi squid. This was my first AYCE that included mulnamyeung (cold noodle soup) so I had to try it and it was pretty tasty. I also liked that dessert was included. My ube melona bar was the perfect way to end a meal.

Yelp
My husband's co-worker recommended Ember to him and I'm so glad he did! We've gone at least twice so far and I'm certain it won't be our last. Even when it was busy, we only had to wait maybe 15-20 minutes, which was great. Fair pricing with great service, side dishes, and meat options. Ember has one of the better tasting corn cheese, which made me happy. Choice of one Melona bar or sherbet cup at the end. Left without smelling like KBBQ due to their ventilation system, which is a huge plus! Def recommend!

Yelp
I've been here a few times and the last time I came with a group of 12 people. The servers and host here are so friendly and accommodating. Big groups aren't always easy to deal with, but they made everything so easy and helped out each table enthusiastically. The food here is great with so many options in appetizers and meats!

Yelp
Food is okay , would drive to blue house but they were closed , waited 25 mins for a grill change ...

Yelp
KBBQ dinner with a good exhaust system [Elk Grove CA] Suggested by a friend of ours who is local from Elk Grove we came here for dinner, party of 8. Actually, three friends from our party are from Elk Grove. The building from the outside is wide and inside is equally spacious and well-spaced. The restaurant has a family-style setting. We were given two tables towards the corner and we proceeded to place our orders with the waitress assigned to us. In reality our very own "grill masters" selected the food for us --- the menu has a wide variety of meats to choose from: pork, beef, chicken and seafood. We shared side dishes, called "banchan." Everything was delicious and flavorful. One thing I noticed was that they have a great ventilation (or exhaust) system because I came out of there not smelling like food! That thing just effectively sucked the smoke, grease, and other cooking odors from the grill LoL! The servers were efficient in emptying our table of used dinnerware. Our main waitress was nice and friendly and just knows when we're ready for our next rounds. Now I'm no connoisseur of Korean BBQ dining but I was pleased with our first time dining experience at Ember's. Review #3731

Yelp
We came here on a Saturday evening around 745pm. Good service overall and good parking Overall. $34 per person outside of their discount deal days of m-f daytime, excluding holidays. We had been sitting for a good while though with an empty cup so ended up having to flag down someone to get more water. The wait can be sort of long even if you only have a small party of 2...took like 20 minutes I think. So try to come outside of their busiest times if you can't stand the waiting. The wait is even longer if you have a bigger group. Another good tip is if you come outside of the busiest times, you can likely get a table that's not next to a rowdy kid. For moment I was next to a rowdy young kid of a family who was misbehaving , kept pushing their chair into my space where I sat. Another small kid on the other side of the wall next to where I sat, kept being a brat getting way too close to my personal space. They charge extra if you have a big group, I think it was like 7 people or more get charged extra. I liked The Thin cut Pork belly soy garlic, beef bulgogi, brisket, spicy cold noodles, kimchi, and cheese corn. They have a surprising depth of menu here with items that I don't think I've seen at gen or gogi kbbq spots. At the end of the meal you get to pick between melona or sherbet types of ice cream, which is a nice sweet way to end the meal. I think because of how special, how different their menu is - they set themselves apart from other kbbq spots in the city. Not a bad spot for some interesting kbbq.

Yelp
I teeter here between 4 and 5. I enjoyed our group outing here but there's just something that was keeping this place from being a 5. Is it because I'm spoiled by SoCal KBBQ? Not sure. But then again this is the best KBBQ I've had in the area, at least in recent memory. So maybe I'll put this as an area 5 for now. Anyways this place is pretty huge. Like to the point where it almost seemed empty because of how large it was. As for the selection it was pretty big. They have all of your typical meats, ban ham and even had stuff like ramen too. The meats were all flavorful and tender. Loved how they also served Asian ice cream bars for dessert at the end. I wish it was closer because I'd definitely go back more often. As I went to post the pics, I remembered something disturbing. There was a hair in our cheese corn, almost looked like a pubic hair. So down to a 3/5 now.
google avatar

Yelp
Place is still decent but there has been some changes since their opening. At $32.99 pp you get all the protein options no upgrades for different types of meat like some other locations. Came on a Friday night around 7:30 with the family and we waited about 20-25 mins for party of 3. Not too bad in our opinion. Our server was friendly and super attentive. Our first round of orders came out super fast. All our apps and proteins we ordered along with the sides came out at once. So we got to the cooking while munching on our appetizers. Quality and quantity is reasonable. Their seasoned meats are seasoned just enough. Nice cuts easy to grill and they do provide scissors for bigger cuts. They provide multiple tongs as well. Our 2nd round of proteins, however, took a while. But our sever peeped his eyes out to our table as I noticed and he took action quick and made sure to come over to tell us that he called the food host to bring it out that instant. He apologized and informed us a lot of food severs were on break and the kitchen was behind. We appreciated that he told us to keep us informed. Their popcorn chicken and Parmesan cheese fries are so bomb! Almost better than some boba shops. Gave their kimchi soup another chance and still too tangy and sour and it's only tofu and the kimchi, no seafood or anything. Egg soufflé was okay. My. Mom obviously wished it had more taste to it. They have kimchi pancakes as an appetizer which is nice. Not a lot of these KBBQ has it. We gave it another try and it didn't deliver though. Crunchy on the edges but soggy in the middle. When you order the veggies, just note it's just onions, sliced mushroom, zucchini, and pineapple and you don't get too much. I like that their lettuce wraps are included in the price. It's not an additional fee. What I like about this KBBQ is that their vents are adjustable and you can bring it lower so the smoke in front of you gets fully absorbed. Some KBBQ places leave you smelling like bbq but this place doesn't. The space is ima pretty open concept. Parking is spacious as it's in a shopping center plaza. We would return, but not my first option. Can't go wrong here though. Highlight of dining here is there included dessert. They have Melona ice cream! Haha it was definitely a nice treat. If you know Melona ice cream, then you know. lol
google avatar

Helen T.

Yelp
Spacious with well lowered vents for KBBQ. The staff and our server was superrrrr nice & gave great recommendations. He was very attentive and checked up on us just enough and when we needed to order he would pop up! Food was yummy! The kimchi jeon appetizer was so crispy good! I got 2! Love that they offer beef tongue and intestines as part of their meats! Only thing is that we didn't like was the limit to 3 apps and 3 meats but it's ok as our server was quick to take our next order. Also, ramen was flavorful but wished their was a non spicy version although they only had the non spicy cold noodles available. Overall, our tummies left extremely happy & would definitely come again when we are in the area.

Yelp
Came here for the first time to celebrate a birthday and I must say, I was very impressed with the place. The restaurant is big and perfect for big parties. Every employee we encountered was so nice and welcoming. Not a bad attitude in sight. Our grill was never left empty. We never had to wait for the next round of meats, they kept the food and drinks rolling in and changed our grill when needed. The food tasted great, we kept ordering rounds of brisket, short ribs, and bulgogi. Their Yuza blonde beer is really good and loved their sauces, especially the spicy sambal. Overall, great experience! I definitely recommend this place and will be a returning customer.

Yelp
My group and I decided to try this kbbq. The parking is spacious, service was fast and the staff were friendly. The bbq meats were delicious. The banchans were ok, I had better.
google avatar

Sarah R.

Yelp
First time here with a couple of my friends, services was good! Kept checking on us to make sure everything was good. Meat was good just frozen so we had to wait a bit before cooking it. Side dishes were good too. Ambiance was nice, not crowded when we went too. The smoke suction worked great too
google avatar

Margaret L.

Yelp
I came here with my extended family get together. We placed a reservation ahead of time since we are a large party with handful of kids. We were seated across two tables. The tables had 1-2 grills and it also had the suction fan. We ordered a lot of items off the menu to try. The kids enjoyed the cooked appetizers like the potsticker, French fries and popcorn chicken. This place has a lot of unique meat items compared to other Korean BBQ places. I don't know if any of the meats really stood out to me. I did enjoy that the lettuce wrap wasn't extra. I liked the scallion salad and ssamjang in my wraps. They have plentiful of side dishes. I would say our service was okay - we'll order some items and it never came out so we had to try again. The wait staff is patient but it's also really hard to hear in there sometimes. I think it's not necessarily loud due to people speaking but just other noise as well. Parking lot is big, we did have to park a little "far" since the lanes in front of the restaurant was full. There is lots of parking elsewhere.
google avatar

Gabriela B.

Yelp
The service was quick we did not wait long for table. They have lots appetizer options such as fried rice, popcorn chicken, and fries. I like the condiments they offer such as rice paper, lettuce wraps, grilled veggies. Gratuity was automatically added to bill for our party of 6. They have various popsicle and sherbet dessert options. Overall everything is pretty tasty the servers are quick bringing food and refilling drinks. Pro tip: the floor feels greasy I suggest not wearing high heels. Otherwise the place is great. There is a large bar along the back area as well.
google avatar

Amity H.

Yelp
I love that they offer a large variety of appetizers/entrees that most AYCE kbbq place do not have. You can order tofu soup, steamed egg, fries as appetizers without additional cost. Good amount of meat/seafood options and quality was not bad at all. I like how they have ventilation above each grill so it was not smokey inside and not too much of kbbq smell on our clothes. Still some but not that much compared to other places. A huge plus was that they offer Melona bars for dessert to end the meal. What a great way to finish! I would definitely come back if I'm in the Elk Grove area!
google avatar

Amabel Y.

Yelp
This is now my new favorite KBBQ spot in Elk Grove! Meat quality is superb and all you can eat options are plentiful. They recently rolled out the jajangmyun so I tried it and it was soo good! Their garlic park fries are a must try as well! Crispy and flavorful! The scallion salad is also a must try! They have a bed of lettuce with shredded scallions tossed in a soy sauce vinaigrette! Perfect addition to either the rice paper or lettuce wrap! Staff are attentive and checks in before I even need to flag them down! They're also friendly! Even though they're busy, they make time to answer any questions we have! Lastly, they offer dessert at the end! One per person! Current offering gas are either raspberry or orange sherbet or Melona bars (honey dew, strawberry, coconut, mango, or Ube). I'll definitely be coming back when I crave Korean bbq!

Yelp
It was our first time at Ember Korean BBQ, and we really enjoyed both the food and the service. When we arrived to put our name on the list, the staff was friendly and efficient--it only took about 10 minutes before we were seated. Another thing we appreciated was that we didn't leave smelling like smoke, thanks to their great ventilation system. Our servers were also excellent, checking in often to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a great first experience! We definitely will be back with our entire family, we highly recommend Ember Korean BBQ!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice place but not sure it's worth coming back. Came for dinner on a Saturday evening with a party of 8. We were seated quickly. I've tried several Korean bbq places and this was just like any other to me. Plenty of parking here. Service was ok. Our waitress didn't really have much of a personality. We were a table of 7 adults and 1 kid & a toddler so automatic 18% added regardless so we were just another table to her. I had to ask for water twice before she brought us any. If you say thank you she doesn't respond so don't expect too much. Food was ok. Wish there were more options under the condiments. I read some of the other reviews regarding the ventilation system but I still left smelling like I was on the grill. I smelled like bbq just like all the other Korean bbq places. Not sure I'll be back.
google avatar

Yelp
We came here for dinner and were seated quickly. There is one set price for dinner and a 2 hour time limit. I'm not sure how strictly it's enforced though. Banchan was already set out on the table. None of them were that great, but I ate a lot of the pickled radish slices with the meat. We ordered: Condiments- mushrooms, garlic, jalapeño, lettuce wrap, rice paper, ssamjang, salt & sesame oil Beef- beef tongue, brisket, spicy brisket, LA galbi, saeng galbi, angus ribeye steak, marinated rib fingers Pork- pork belly, soy garlic thin cut pork belly My two favorites were the marinated rib fingers and the beef tongue. The rib fingers were flavorful and the tongue was thin. Nine plates of meat was overdoing it. We should've asked for the last three plates to be half orders. At the end of the meal, I was too full for dessert. I took my ube Melona bar home with me. What's great about this place is that it isn't smoky in there and the grills are changed often.
google avatar

Julie M.

Yelp
Variety and cost was good, staff was nice and attentive. Banchan and cold noodles were delicious but if you love dipping in sesame oil and salt I would avoid this place. Their sesame oil is diluted with vegetable oil and the flavor isn't there. Made today's meal less enjoyable. Meat cuts were also on the lower quality side if you've been to some good kbbq spots outside of Elk Grove.

Yelp
My husband randomly found Ember while we were running errands in EG! So glad he did because it is a 5 star for us!!!! The restaurant is still fairly new, our waiter said they opened this summer. The restaurant is huge and clean, also very spacious. Only downfall is we arrived right at opening time and the women's bathroom did not have any paper towels in both dispensers. But even with that I still give it a 5 star cause it was that good!!! Our favorite was the spicy bulgogi, that stole the show! It had just enough kick, the serving is huge for 2. We also tried their pork belly, brisket and steak.. our server was attentive and checked in with us frequently! Will definitely be back!!!
google avatar

Robert R.

Yelp
I definitely have a new favorite kbbq spot after trying this restaurant. This place exceeded my expectations. There were three areas where they stood out: 1) more meat cut options, 2) amazing dessert options, and 3) interesting alcohol offerings. The service was great as well. We were never left waiting to order and they always made sure we has meat to grill and sides to enjoy. The banchan was ok, but the side dishes were good. I will definitely be back and would recommend this place to others.
google avatar

Terry M.

Yelp
I went to Ember to try it out for the first time since it was highly recommended. When we arrived, we were seated quickly. The interior was welcoming, the service was awesome, and everything was delicious. I'll definitely be back, even though most of us are from Stockton. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Yenny N.

Yelp
It's a so so place. The restaurant itself is so huge, they should partition it out so there's some more privacy. The food was ok, it wasn't bad but it wasn't memorable either. The price is quite cheap and the servers were very nice to us.
google avatar

Helen L.

Yelp
Ember KBBQ is located in the Ross/Hobby Lobby/Burlington Coat Factory plaza on the Burlington Coat Factory side and next to Bath and Body Works. Love the ambience and decor of this place. It's also very spacious and well ventilated. There was a group of 13 of us here for a friend's birthday. It was my first time at Ember and most the group has been here before and love it. I can see why and I too am a fan. The variety and quality of the food here is great. They have a great selection of appetizers, sides/ban chans, sauces, meats, and flavors of icecream to choose from. Shoutout to our server, Anna. She was amazing and took great care of us. I definitely recommend and look forward to coming back again.

Raine B.

Yelp
Get the beef or shrimp. The baby octopus was disappointing - chewy and large. Condiments were all good. Kimchi was fantastic and so were the cucumbers. Complimentary ice cream for dessert.
google avatar

Summer D.

Yelp
We had an ideal lunch here. The wait was short, and the environment was inviting. We had the lunch special, which includes a variety of meats and sides. We didn't think the meat was of high quality but had good flavor. Unfortunately this was our least favorite KBBQ restaurant we've been to in Elk Grove. The customer service was excellent and made up for the food. We appreciated the friendly servers who were attentive.
google avatar

Choua L.

Yelp
We arrived during lunch on a weekend and waited 30mins! It was pretty busy although they had a lot of empty tables. We arrived at our table and they already had all the banchan there! It was nice because we were so hungry! The banchan were delicious, my favorite actually lol! There was a good selection of food to choose from. The meats were well seasoned. My only complaint is that the portions were inconsistent; some meats youll get a lot, some a few pieces only. We ordered the baby octopus and got a whole bowl of humongous chubby baby octopuses lol! They have a spicy sambal that we tried. I like the idea of a spicy sauce but this sauce wasn't good unfortunately. Other than that, everything was great. Staff were attentive!

Yelp
Food and service here Is good. I recommend it. We tried the soju cocktails and melona cocktails and those were delicious!!

Yelp
Always solid and reasonably priced. Great service, especially during lunchtime. Loved the garlic soy beef belly and pork belly. Slices of grilled garlic? Mmmmm. This is my go to kbbq spot in the Sacramento area.

Yelp
Loving this place. We went here to celebrate my friend's birthday and all the staff here were super friendly, had an attitude that showed they enjoyed working here so. The layout is your typical kbbq place, but because they have the smoke ducts super close to the grill, it's not as Smokey in here and I think I came home without a heavy scent of meat on myself. Their selection of soft is also very unique. There was elderberry, not just your usual flavors, so I recommend trying to order one of their different flavors. Food wise, everything was so good. There were some things we had to look up because we didn't know what they were but all the options were delicious. The servers were very efficient too. They didn't disappear on us to run out the time like some places, but they popped by every 15-20 ish minutes to check in to see if we needed more food. I'm looking forward to coming back here next time for kbbq

Yelp
There's a new korean bbq restaurant in our neighborhood so of course we had to come give it a try. Glad we did because the excellent service we received from Nick was an experience in its own. He is very knowledgeable with the menu items and is super fast in putting in the meat and appetizer orders. We always had food coming. For a new business I'm shocked of how well the service was. There were no complaints at all. As for the food, let's say i'm already planning to go back. The meat is marinated well. My favorite meat is the Kalbi, Rib Fingers, and Beef Tongue. The scallion salad is the one to mention. Im not a huge salad person but the vinaigrette in the salad was so delicious, we had to order more. I love how the vent is so close to the grill, it sucks up all the smoke making it so much easier to cook the food. All in all, I would say this place is definitely a great contender to the other korean bbq's. However, the amazing customer service here would be hard to beat. Even the person spoke to on the phone when making the reservation was super nice. Ember's gets 2 thumbs up from me! I can't wait to back again to try the rest of what's on the menu. If you're wondering if this place is any good, yes it's good!...

Yelp
Checked in here on July 17th when they had their grand opening deal on the AYCE KBBQ menu for $34 (dinner). Very spacious interior with vents right above your table to get all the smoke. First time where I didn't smell like BBQ after haha. Meat selection here is great and they had plenty of sides like fish cake, kimchi, radish, etc. The beef tongue and LA Galbi were definitely one of my favorites here. You can order up to 3 meats at a time, and they are also super generous in refilling the sides as well. The quality of meat too is a plus, for example, the beef tongue was pretty tender and fresh. I recommend getting the egg as one of the appetizers and getting the condiments as well like the meat sauce. It amps up your whole KBBQ eating experience This place is definitely a must-try when you're in the Elk Grove area. Expect quality, attentive waiters and waitresses, and meats coming out in seconds.

Yelp
We thouroughly enjoyed the AYCE kbbq place. They offered a good variation in banchan and the meat was marinated well and tasty. We left happy and stuffed! They even give you a choice of melona for dessert. Yum!

Yelp
Visited when my parents came to town! Although a lot of the sides dishes were on point, including the steamed egg, salad, dwengjang jjigae, etc., the meat was a let down :( They had clearly prepped the meats ahead of time to streamline service, which I understand, but the meat rolls were frozen solid to the plates and had to be pried off just to cook them. It really took away from the experience and made everything feel less fresh unfortunately. For the price, I was hoping for a more authentic and higher-quality kbbq experience. Service was solid but if they keep freezing their meat rolls on plates like that, I probably won't be back.

Yelp
Location: located in a small shopping plaza with plenty of parking. Service: I arrived around 9:30pm on a Saturday. The place was pretty empty. Last call for ordering is 10:30pm. We were seating a few minutes after we arrived as they were prepping our table. They had both a physical menu and online menu to look at and give us time to pick out what we wanted to order. They have a large beef selection to choose from as well as chicken, pork, seafood, and appetizers. They did a good job checking in on us throughout the night to make sure we had a clean grill and took our orders throughout the night. Food: we ordered a lot of different types of meats and appetizers . My favorites and must orders are: Corn cheese Beef tongue Soy garlic beef belly Brisket Overall, had a great experience and would definitely recommend trying this place out! Each meal comes with a free sherbet as well!
