Ding-a-ling feels like more of a let's-listen-to-loud-music-and-dance sort of place, whereas Joyface feels like a basement party. Think of this spot as a retro, semi-glitzy bar/club where you can eat a hot dog if you get hungry. You'll find a line outside late at night, and you should get in that line if you're looking to mingle with a crowd beneath the light of a disco ball.
