WOW! Felt like we were in New York! We were in town for a swim meet for 3 days...and ate here twice because we could not get enough of the sauce that came with the calzone and stromboli!!! Absolutely the best sauce we've ever had, hands down! Then we had the cheesecake and a lobster tail...made the meal even more amazing. But what put them over the top was how we felt like family here! Love these guys!

Google
BEST pizza in Rochester, hands down. We’ve been there 3 times now and each time the food is consistently good and service is 10/10. Love that you can get a slice, a to-go salad or a full fresh made pizza. Oh and there’s ice cream and desserts too! The marketplace has a ton of great staples for your pantry if you’re looking for some specific items. We’ve never been disappointed. Highly recommend.

Google
The best pizza, hands down, I've ever had. We each did a slice of "salad pizza" for lunch and took a piece home because we underestimated how much food we would get. Service was awesome, and we did some shopping afterwards in their food store. This will now be my go-to pizza when I'm in Rochester. ❤️

Linda B.

Google
Top notch restaurant! Friendly, helpful as well as best Italian food I’ve had in a long time! Definitely will be back next time I’m in Rochester! Highly recommend this restaurant

As an Italian living here in Rochester, I can honestly say this place made me feel at home. The food is authentic, fresh, and full of the flavors I grew up with. Every bite reminded me of Italy – from the quality of the ingredients to the way they are prepared. A wonderful spot for anyone looking for real Italian pizza, and more!

Google
The pizza was great 👍 The service was friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. If I lived in Rochester I'd eat there way too often!

Google
For me, a NY transplant from an Italian family, this is the best pizza I’ve had in my 11 years in Minnesota. We found this place about 6 months ago and were blown away. The traditional NY slices taste exactly like they do back home. I stopped back Tuesday on my way down to LaCrosse and it was the same experience. This time I ordered a slice of Sicilian and a NY-style. Both were delicious! I liked the crispiness of the Sicilian especially. If you’re tired of Midwestern pizza and are looking for authentic East Coast pizza, Pasquale’s is worth drive from just about anywhere in the state. I also had a sfogliatelle (not pictured), which Imd never had before, that was very good even though citrus isn’t my favorite. I particularly like the crunch of the pastry. My only critiques are that I found the price for slices a little high ($7 for the Sicilian if I remember) and I would like the NY to be maybe a little crispier, but it’s still delicious and highly recommended.

Google
I love coming here. I have a very picky daughter, who barely eats anything, and she absolutely loves Pasquale's! It is a typical NY style pizza, but it is very good. Fresh ingredient's and unique topping choices. They also have a large selection of there own home made dry goods. Pasquale himself is also an outstanding individual. I used to work in the ER and he would always deliver pizza to the ER. You will not regret coming here!

Yelp
A fun place to grab a slice of pizza if you're on the go or you want to sit down and eat. We each had a slice of pepperoni and we shared a side salad and a cannoli. We enjoyed the outdoor seating in front of the restaurant/store.

Yelp
NY style pizza by the slice in Rochester! I was in town on business and just happened to park by this place. I was stunned to see the sign in the window offering pizza by the slice because it seems to be so rare in MN, even in the Twin Cities. When I went in, I was more surprised to find a full blow Italian market. I only had a cheese slice and a coke, but that was enough to tell me this place is legit. Nice thin and crisp crust. Cheese could have been a bit saltier and the sauce a bit spicier, but it was a great slice. I wish I could have tried more of their food because everything looked great. Hope I'm in Rochester again sometime to stop in again.

Yelp
Growing up in an Italian family just minutes from New Haven, CT "The Pizza Capital" and an hour from NYC, I am used to enjoying the Best of the Best in pizza. All too often in my travels I find pizzerias claiming NY/NH style pizza. Despite their local popularity, too often their pizzas' only similarity to great NY pizza is their appearance. This is why Pasquale's Pizzeria totally took me by surprise. True NY/NH quality pizza... and Italian food... in Rochester MN of all places ? A talk with Pasquale revealed why. He told me they import their ingredients from their family's farm in Italy. Top quality ingredients are more expensive but required for great pizza because the use of inferior quality can't be disguised. We bought some packages of their home-made pasta and the family's own olive oil, both excellent. Also got a cool "Forgettabout it" tee shirt for a gift too. Lots of interesting items available in the store area. I also learned Pasquale honed his craft in part, working in New Haven at one the best known and oldest pizzerias in the country where I have enjoyed pizza there countless times. However Pasquale's pizza is in no way a copy or a "knock-off". He has crafted his own style that in part reflects the tastes and preferences in that area. An example of this was the Bianca - White Pie, very different from the NH version yet still delicious. Try their calzone. As we sat on the outside patio, our Italian mom repeatedly said how good it was ! Warm Italian hospitality. A very welcoming and friendly staff was receptive to our preferences on each of our visits. Has a casual neighborhood vibe.

Yelp
Love this place!!!! Ate here twice this week. Amazing pizza. Love the little cannoli's!!

Yelp
It is not cheap at all, which is what you pay for being close to the prestige. But honestly, this is great pizza! You can actually taste the basil on their basic and peperoni pies. And, it's actually an independent local shop. The slice of cheesecake I added on was not worth $9, so skip the desserts even if your eyes are tempted.

Jagar S.

Yelp
Amazing family, food, and service. They are very welcoming and it is the best pizza in Rochester, by a long shot.

Yelp
Pizza was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Cups were paper and after one refill started to leak. A+ customer service. Well lit family friendly environment.

Yelp
This place is a joke! I wanted to order a Sicilian pizza with 5 topping and they wanted $60! $30 for the pizza which was fine, but $5 per topping bring my pizza to $60 plus tax.. I cancelled the order.. They couldn't deliver, the person on the phone sounded bothered. Bad experience dealing with them. I wrote this review and they took it down saying "I didn't try to order from them"? Well, I damn well did!! This review is from MY EXPERIENCE. Don't like it? Stop ripping people off. I'm trying give people a heads up so they don't waste their time. Don't take my review down! Thanks

Emma M.

Yelp
Soo yummy! Had the Midwest pizza and it was delish. Very thin and crispy crust - like NY style. Service was so friendly and they ended up giving us free marmalade which was SO kind. Restaurant has plenty of seating and is very clean, all staff seemed super friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
Went there again, and their Pizza is still so very yummy. Husband and I ordered the following assortment: Bianca, Arugula Salad, Midwest, and Buffalo Chicken slices in addition to Ricotta Calzone and Spinach Strumboli. Surprisingly the Arugula Salad pizza and the Bianca Pizza were the best ones. We both loved Bianca so much that we ordered a piece to go so we can enjoy it with the rest of the leftovers. If you're ever in Rochester, this place should be on your list to visit.

Yelp
We visited Pasquale's Neighborhood Pizza for lunch and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting authentic Italian pizza. We had the pizza Blanco (white pizza) and it was outstanding. After this trip, Pasquale's will be on our weekly stop over.

Yelp
Cook the dough a little longer and make sure the stuffed dough doesn't leak everything out onto people's lap. So much liquid poured out. Not impressed

David G.

Yelp
Pasquale is great Everything is good and I love this restaurant Ordered from there many times

Vickie G.

Yelp
Can't say enough about Pasquale's The Eggplant Parmesan is the best I've ever had! The bagels are really fresh. Homey atmosphere and friendly, cheerful staff who are interested in your dining experience!

Yelp
Love, love, love this place - and their abilities to support various diets! Such delicious food!

Yelp
Always impressed with the exceptional food and service at Pasquales Neighborhood Pizza! The service, the fantastic, authentic NY pizza, and the sparkling clean restaurant - they do it right!

Yelp
Wow not gonna lie I almost did not order from here because I felt like it was a little pricey $50 for a pizza seemed a bit Ridonculous but I bit the bullet and, Let's just say I was pleasantly surprised. It was quite delicious. I got it as a takeout. There's a store in there. You can buy so many different items from desserts to different salads, noodles, sauces. I will be back things look so delicious with lots of choices. Ambience was nice. It was very clean. Service was outstanding when I called to order it they said 15 minutes. I was like no way I got there in 12 minutes and it was already waiting for me, they are super quick. I travel and work for Mayo. One of my doctors from Phoenix, Arizona told me that I needed to try this place so glad I did. One little thing I didn't care about it as I tried to originally order online and I wanted to take the honey off of my pizza and it doesn't give you the option to take something off only add but other than that super happy.

Jon G.

Yelp
This guy can't cook. I wouldn't trust him to make a can of soup. Actually I would prefer canned food to his food. I'm not a chef, but I have know a few. The ones I know would never make tomato basil soup out of tomato paste dried basil and water. Despite what you may think , it's absolutely terrible. To each his own. I'm not ever having a slice of his own recipe pizza.

Yelp
Loved it! Friendly staff. Good food. Cool atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. This place has so much more than just pizza!
google avatar

Sheila R.

Yelp
Stopped by for some NY style pizza! Order at counter, then pick your spot. It's a cute open area for seating, but outside area also available. Pizza was good, with some subtle differences... sauce usually is a bit more spiced with oregano, etc and the crust could have been crisped a bit more. Overall, a nice place to stop for a pie or slice in Rochester.
google avatar

Brittany S.

Yelp
Pizza was absolutely delicious, but maybe even more divine was the leadership. The manager here goes above and beyond to provide an amazing experience to diners. Highly, highly recommend this establishment and look forward to supporting again in the future. PS - thank you for the garlic knots! Dad and I will be back!

Cady J.

Yelp
Best pizza I've had in a long time! I got the lunch special with 2 slices of pizza, a cannoli and a drink for $8.50, a really good deal for lunch in my opinion. The restaurant itself is well decorated and the staff is super sweet and friendly!
google avatar

Sharon S.

Yelp
Ambiance: Safe, quaint location. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Great for families. Service: everyone was pleasant and ordering is efficient with food coming out quick. Food: Pizza was great. I loved the sauce and ended up purchasing a few jars to go. The choices of appetizers and desserts were vast. We ordered the mozz sticks, breaded mushrooms and eggplant and all were delicious. Cannoli, ice cream and chocolate mousse were all great as well. Overall a great experience, pleasant staff that all seemed to work very good together and all with a smile and genuine greeting and thanks for visiting their restaurant.

Yelp
I am so glad I went into the store to order instead of ordering online. They have a large grocery section and tons of prepared pizza and calzones that they sell by the slice in addition to all of the other freshly prepared items on their menu. I ordered garlic knots, a Sicilian slice, a pop's square slice, and an Alla Italiana stuffed slice to go. Everything was incredible. Think, chewy, soft dough, just enough sauce. The garlic knots were dusted in parmesan cheese and served with marinara. They were so good I found myself standing there eating them instead of making my plate. I highly recommend checking them out
google avatar

Julie L.

Yelp
Service was good. The pizza was bland. Toppings had very little flavor. Lacked seasoning. The mushrooms were cut too big and lacked any flavor. For a $50 pizza, we expected more.

Gus R.

Yelp
Visited yesterday and ordered a couple of slices of NY style pizza and meatball hoagie. Both were really poor quality. But first the location is convenient, the restaurant is clean and well lit with lots of room and the bathrooms were emasculate. The meatballs tasted like straw. Wife agreed. They were dry, poorly seasoned and just blah. The bread did not hold the sauce. The cheese was subpar and the sauce no better. The slices were bland. The cheese was largely tasteless, the sauce totally bland. The mozzarella sticks were fine but not sure they were made in-house because the sauce that accompanied the was very poor. So, something had to change. The flour, the cheese, the management, the chef? The pizza slices that were sold at their storefront in front of St Mary's were GREAT!

Yelp
Did delivery as we are staying at nearby hotel. Only delivery option is Door Dash which we do not prefer, but were not able to pick up ourselves. We ordered Nonas Sicilian which is fresh mozzarella, pesto, marinara and pepperoni. It was really good and flavorful, but a LOT of crust. It was 95% dough and 5% toppings. If you like thick crust you will like this place!

Erin P.

Yelp
We recently tried ordering pizza from Pasquale's and ended up having to make it edible at home. First problem is their online ordering system if you need change anything about the order it is nearly impossible to do. Half the pizza was missing cheese. The order was not ready and had to wait for it to be ready...but it was ready they had just misplaced it. Called the store after getting home they said it was "made correctly." Not going there again for poor service or poorly made pizza. Customer service...huge let down.

Lyla N.

Yelp
This pizza place is a must hit! Came here with 2 other hungry people, sat down and ordered quickly, the pizza is a bit on the expensive side but each slice is about the size of 2 average ones. It feeds about more than 3 people, for we each had 2 slices and were STUFFED. The pepperoni pizza is flat out delicious. Perfect doughy charred crust, the cheese was stretchy and the pizza was yeah, just perfect. A little on the slow side to come but PIPING hot when we got it. Doesn't really matter to most but there were some, questionable movies playing on the tvs, but it's ok. The service was awesome! The person who took our order was just so friendly, like very friendly, acted if I was an old friend. We got one pepperoni pizza and it was about $30, but we had lots of leftovers for dinner. The setting of the place is great, and the walls are extravagant. Must hit!

Yelp
We were here visiting. We went to Pasquale's for dinner since it was close to Mayo Clinic. I didn't get pictures of the dessert because we ate it first. We decided since we never eat dessert because we end up to full before we can to eat it first. We got a half and half pizza. The crust abd sauce are good. I usually don't like crust but this was not chewy. The place looks small but if you keep walking past the soda fountain there is so much room. The ambiance is really nice. Very clean! The service was exceptional. We laughed about the dessert! They had staff walking around to pick up any items. If I were to visit again I would definitely recommend. I wish we had one in Grand Rapids, Michigan! One of the best pizza places I've ever been too.
google avatar

Alicia W.

Yelp
Cute place, good pizza. The patio seating is delightful with plants growing around the edges.
google avatar

Stormy D.

Yelp
Best pizza I've had yet! The service is amazing and people are genuine! We will be back before we leave Rochester!!!
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered a pepperoni pizza without basil and they literally picked the basil off of it after it was cooked. They said they fixed it yet. It still has a little bits of basil all over. Pizza was OK at best and the Nutella knots were hard as a rock. This is our third time eating from here and honestly the only thing I've liked out of everything I have tried is the chocolate croissants. Pizza is always just OK. Cannolis were gross. My husband does like the Italian cookies. We had much higher hopes, since we had to stay down the street while I had surgery for my cancer. Unfortunately, we're a "three strikes you're out" kind of family.

Mike R.

Yelp
Unreal service and hospitality! My family and I traveled from TN looking for a meal after a long day, and this place blew us away with their genuine service! You will always hold a special place in our hearts for taking care of our son before his surgery!

Kc G.

Yelp
our first time as a family of six here today. we are ashamed we waited so long to try this establishment as Rochester natives. the service was outstanding and friendly. Shout out to Wayne at the front counter, who was incredibly warm and welcoming to our children the food (pepperoni New York style pizza, Sicilian, and a barrage of desserts) was authentic and amazing. we had comfortable seating and the feeling in the building was very inviting. a great ambiance.
google avatar

Heather W.

Yelp
If you're looking for an authentic New York pizza experience this is it! The food is always delicious. I like the Bianca or the prosciutto truffle pie. The cheese is also awesome. I liked the texture and flavor of the rainbow cake. The staff is great and the owner takes pride in his place. The cannolis are authentic and his olive oil from his family's olive field is absolutely amazing. l got to enjoy a delicious sample.

Mae Y.

Yelp
EVERYTHING is delicious and the staff are great! Love the decor, too! Everyone we asked, recommended Pasquale's. We were not disappointed! We will be back!
google avatar

Ely M.

Yelp
I love this place and it is my most favorite pizza shop. I am able to order custom toppings on my pizzas. I always order silicon style pizzas with anchovies and ricotta cheese.

Dana C.

Yelp
Based on Trip Advisor reviews we walked here from Mayo, and enjoyed lunch. They acknowledged us outside before they opened, and showed us in 10 mins early. We bought pizza by the slice, and cesar salad; it was worth the walk.

Susan C.

Yelp
Pizza was outstanding!! Many varieties to choose from and just about anything this Italian would love! Service was excellent, ambiance was charming, welcoming and authentic! The manager/ owner was very kind & gave me a little history of the olive oil they sell there, among hundreds of other tantalizing Italian food, etc. Brought back memories of my grandmother's kitchen, especially the wonderful smells! Don't miss this place, it's a gem.

Rafael D.

Yelp
Cheese pizza was mid. Dough slightly undercooked toward the middle, average quality cheese, no flavor in the marinara sauce nor enough of it.
google avatar

Hanine C.

Yelp
Yes, yes, yes. I am crazy about New York style pizza and was so happy to come here. I got the $7.50 weekday winter lunch special that came with: one slice cheese pizza, cup of tomato soup, a garlic know, soda, mini cannoli. Loved every part of the meal. The cannoli was BOMB. The shell was super crispy and the filling had just the right amount of orange zest. I will 100% be coming back before I leave Rochester!
google avatar

Matthew D.

Yelp
Pizza was okay- I imagine it would've been much better if it were even close to warm. They also forgot my salad, and when I called to have it taken off my bill, I was directed to call door dash- which had me on the phone for took long so I hung up and dealt. You should probably just go to the restaurant and not deal with door dash.

Marie W.

Yelp
This is the place for pizza in Rochester! From the moment you step foot in the door , you are greeted with a big smile! These Pisanos from New York has brought a taste of Italy to Rochester! There is not better place for a fun friends and family gathering. We always eat here when we visit our son . Great GF Options ..

Frank M.

Yelp
We have been here twice and will say the wait staff is awesome the food was a hit and miss and the owner was a real how can I put this nicely an a #1 Jacka$$. this man was the rudest to his employees in front of customers, especially the females. He has no decency In him that we could see.He not only screamed and hollered at them but cussed at one while touching on another. We felt sorry for the servers and cooks for having to put up with this idiot and his mouth and will not spend another dollar in this business.

Randy F.

Yelp
The pizza was good. Also had three small cannolis and they were delicious. Service and concept are different as you order upfront then pay and later your food is dropped off. We did not fully understand so missed things that were refrigerated such as salad. Place has tons of seating and nice atmosphere.

Yelp
THE VERY BEST PIZZA WE HAVE EVER HAD. EVER. I CAME AWAY ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED. There are an awful lot of pizza makers in NYC and even in that region who would be shocked and embarrassed at how poorly their famous New York pizza would compare to Pasquale. The same applies to the very best pizza makes in our current hometown and other good-sized cities we have visited. The crust is a typical traditional hand tossed crust. Stretchy, chewy but still crisp on the bottom and with perfect flavoring and texture. The sauce. Ahhh, the sauce. This is the miracle that makes the pie. The sauce tastes of fresh Roma/San Marzano tomatoes. Ripe, sweet, succulent and fresh, with just the right touch of the best herbs and spices. So many pizza sauces today taste like canned tomatoes, tomato paste and an overwhelming load of salt. Pasquale's stand head and shoulders above the rest. I have, on rare occasion, encountered similar sauces served on pasta in fine restaurants. But never on pizza. And even the best pasta sauces still fail to capture the essence that Pasquale delivers in abundance. The cheese is exactly what it should be. Simple, aged mozzarella. Fresh, elastic, rich and flavorful but never overwhelming. Pies are prepared with the right amount of cheese to complement the sauce, crust and toppings. And, lastly, the toppings. We ordered a simple pie. Pepperoni and sautéed onions. Both were outstanding. I don't know where Senior Pasquale obtains his pepperoni but it's the best I have ever sampled. Most commercially available pepperoni comes across as mostly salt combined with generous helpings of fat. Pasquales pepperoni tasted as pepperoni should taste: a mixture of pork (and sometimes beef) seasoned with paprika, garlic and perhaps a mix of aromatics (e.g., fennel). Salt is also a key ingredient but it should NEVER dominate the taste of the meat, nor the other herbs and spices. Pepperoni should taste spicy in the sense that it has an aromatic and very tasty blend of spices and herbs. But it should not be spicy in the "hot" sense. Some commercial mass market pepperoni also contain a fair amount of red pepper which quickly overwhelm the more delicate blend of herbs and spices which give pepperoni its characteristic smell and taste. On top of all the above, Pasquale combines the ingredients with an excellent balance and then they bake it to perfection. The pies are served piping hot, already sliced and ready to serve. Watch out, chomp in too quickly and you'll burn the roof of your mouth. Instead, give the pie a minute to cool and then savor each and every mouthful.

Yelp
I stopped in for a quick lunch with a realtor that was introducing me to the town and helping me find a place to live. I had a slice of pizza that. Had three meats and my realtor had a slice of a salad pizza. All the slices available looked delicious. The pizza was tasty and had such a nice crisp to the crust. I truly enjoyed it and I will be back. There were so many items that looked delicious and I plan to try them all.

Yelp
Best gluten free pizza EVER! I've had GF pizza all over the country and this was amazing. It's super expensive but worth it.
